Pakistan faces a severe fuel shortage with only one week of reserves, having tripled its weekly fuel costs from $300 million to nearly $900 million since the war began, while simultaneously experiencing a dramatic depletion of foreign currency reserves from $21 billion to approximately $6 billion, illustrating how geopolitical conflicts can simultaneously strain both energy supplies and economic stability through foreign currency constraints.

Pakistan Only Has A Week Of Fuel Left!Ajouté :
Pakistan has a week of fuel resources left. That is one of the lowest amounts in the entire world. Everything else is being rushed in, bought on demand. Since the war began, that weekly cost of fuel has gone from 300 million US dollars to almost triple that. Given Pakistan's location in the world, they don't have the same supply line issues that somewhere like the Solomon Islands does.
But, what they do have is a foreign currency problem. These fuel purchases are happening in the global market with US dollars. At the beginning of the war, Pakistan had 21 billion US dollars on hand, but by the end of the year, that could be closer to six.
