Why Support Systems are Important

[00:00:00]Being Make A Wish has a lot of benefits, right? But it doesn't mean we get things for free. So, how we how we raise money A lot of our money comes from external events, but largely from from everyday folks going to wish.org/donate. People like, "Oh, bureaucracy." Without bureaucracy, 19-year-olds couldn't run an aircraft carrier, right?

[00:00:20]Without bureaucracy, these things don't happen. So, these things have to happen.

[00:00:23]We need to have we need to have infrastructure that that creates the support network necessary for people to do their jobs. So, so you need people like, "Oh, I don't want to pay for overhead." Pay for overhead. You want you want to pay for people to be able to direct people. You want to to to lead people. You need those sorts of things, too.
