[00:01:06]It's our go-to method for making quick, sensible decisions. This principle is named after William of Aam, an English philosopher who popularized it, though he wasn't the first to talk about it.

[00:01:16]Think of a razor as a philosophical razor that shaves off the unlikely complex answers, leaving us with the simplest ones. It's not about finding the absolute truth, but choosing the most probable solution. Let's put Aam's razor to the test with an example.

[00:02:02]Math tells us the method with five steps has a 59% chance of success, while the 20step method has only a 12% chance.

[00:02:10]More steps mean more chances for something to go wrong.

[00:02:13]>> So, a lot of people want to have wild conspiracy theories, but most likely, just like Dr. Brucato says it's the the highest chances, the most lower number of steps for things to happen in not all cases, but this could be a case of AAM's razor, the most likely thing. [00:02:38]>> AAM's razor isn't about guaranteeing truth. It's about betting on probabilities. It tells us not what is true with absolute certainty, but what is most likely to be true given our current understanding.

[00:02:53]And a lot of detectives, a lot of profilers have said the suspect is most likely to be from Tucson.

[00:05:11]F is the red, I should say. Now, in between C and F is this orange color.

[00:05:17]So, NY's neighborhood is not in the green. It's more of a D. Okay. So, it doesn't have good ratings. This is crimegrade.org.

[00:05:31]But look at how close the red is to NY's neighborhood. Here's NY's neighborhood.

[00:05:38]Here's it. Red F. That means it is the one of the most unsafest areas in all of Tucson. Now, if you zoom out, here's NY's up here.

[00:05:58]Now, look at here. In the city of Tucson, it is red. Where do you think the suspect could be? Aam's razor.

[00:06:07]Everybody, this is what I want to point you out in the Tucson angle of where Nancy lives and then where the high crime areas could be that have rated F as far as danger danger.
