[00:00:45]What is it? Do they have bugs mixed in it? I don't know.

[00:00:50]Who knows? All we all are noticing in reality though is the price for zip bugs keep going up and up and up in the in the plastic.

[00:01:01]I know every time I've eaten fast food, especially of late, I've gotten bloated.

[00:01:08]I know that's not a a decent thing to talk to to about in front of all of you fine folks out there, but it's the truth. And people leave hamburgers and stuff out these days uh for a year just as an experiment and they come back to it. Nothing's rotten. There ain't nothing green on it. Nothing. Looks like you could stick it in the microwave and start eating it.

[00:01:34]But but I remember back in the day when I could get two cheeseburgers for five bucks and I'd be, you know, and that's what fast food was pretty much meant for the working class to grab a quick lunch, you know, and the food is satisfying.

[00:01:53]It's comfort food. Uh lots of calories, all that stuff for a stressful day at work. Huh. They still got A&W and some other good stuff. And there's so still some stuff I like, but uh see what other folks are saying. Huh.

The fast food giant says it's shutting down about 5 to 6% of its US chain locations, equating to around 240 to 360 store closures. Wendy says the move comes following an 11% drop in sales domestically and a 10% drop in global sales in the fourth quarter.

[00:02:47]They don't freeze any of their food.

[00:02:48]It's all fresh. Every single day you go there, it's fresh food. They're not raising their prices astronomically, doubling or tripling what they were charging a few years ago. You can still go there and feed your family and it's reasonable and it tastes good.

[00:03:05]It's that simple. It's that simple. When I can go to Chili's and get better ingredients, better service, and it costs cheaper than it does at your fast food establishment, there's a reason Chili is still doing really, really well. It's not hard. You got to stop being greedy. It's that simple. You got to take care of your customers. Your brand was built on your customers, not on anything else. And if you don't give them what they want, which is fresh, good for them products at a reasonable cost. Yeah. This is the result. Business 101.

[00:03:39]>> We have to talk about these McDonald's prices. I went to McDonald's today just to get some lunch. No intention to film a video. I got a double cheeseburger. I like it without ketchup. I think it's one of the best things on the menu at McDonald's, but the price caught me so offguard. This thing right here is $4.19.

[00:03:58]And I remember probably in high school, one of these was like a dollar, I think, before the McDouble was even invented.

[00:04:05]And I'm in Colorado. I don't know if that's why. I don't know if it's more expensive out here, but this thing right here for 419 is crazy. And don't get me wrong, I love these things. I get them all the time. I've been eating them for years, but $419's too much. Now, to be fair, it is buy one get one for a dollar. So, 519 for two of these, which is still crazy. I don't know how McDonald's went from being the best value in food, not even just fast food, to now you can get two of these for essentially the price of like a Little Caesar's pizza. You can feed a whole family or you can get two double cheeseburgers.

[00:04:44]That's insane. I know a lot of you are still concentrating on the shirt that I'm wearing. I was wearing it in the last video, decided to wear it again in this video because it's so satisfying.

[00:05:14]the price of even crap food or sometime it might be crap food. I don't know you can in my opinion it is but the price of it keeps going up and up and up and up. We might be at a time here where fast food's coming to an end. an era, an era that started up a while back and is coming to an end because even the price of plastic food has just gone too insane.

[00:05:52]>> And y'all just now finding out that Wings Stop wings are Tyson wings. Tyson literally gives their chicken to most fast food restaurants. Popeye's. Y'all got to do your research. Actually, I'mma pull it up for you. McDonald's, Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Chick-fil-A, and Popeyes. Honestly, the fast food stopped tasting the same around 2020, 2021. But if your wakeup call was not that KFC commercial when they dipped a human being into gravy and he came out as a piece of chicken, I need you to reevaluate your values. And I don't want to hear it's cheap because I hear people are going to McDonald's and coming out spending $20. You can go to a pizzeria. You can go to a bodega.

[00:06:32]And if you don't have a bodega in here, you can go and make you some food at home. It's not cheap. It's addictive.

[00:06:37]>> Can someone tell me why this this chicken sandwich, an order of French fries, and this drink, look at it.

[00:06:43]Literally the size of my hand. Okay, this is a small drink. Was $1759.

[00:06:49]Shake Shack. Like this.

[00:06:54]That tastes like it came out of a machine. One of those stupid freestyle machines that has 17,000 flavors in it.

[00:06:58]It sure isn't for the branding on the bag because there is none. Okay, I guess the presentation and eating it in your car is kind of cute, but not $17 cute.

[00:07:06]Like what? What? And and the $17 there.

[00:07:11]I'm sure there's a reason, right? Like there has to be a reason why Shake Shack was just $17. I just got robbed at McDonald's. I went there and I don't go there often for myself at all. And all I wanted was some French fries and they charged me $59 for a large fry. That is robbery. Like, can we ever come back from from inflation?

[00:07:38]You know what I mean? Because it it should not be $5 for fries at McDonald's. A whole meal used to cost $5. This is literally robbery. I can't even handle it anymore. I was just craving some salty fries. That's it. So, I'm like, "All right, let me pull through here." And when she said $59, I almost drove right through. I said, "That can't be right." Absolutely not.

[00:08:02]I'm like just at a loss for words with the cost of things right now. Everything keeps going up except our paychecks.

[00:08:11]Honestly, can we come back from inflation? Because it just keeps going up. Can't do anything about it except be broke. There's no middle class anymore.

[00:08:23]>> Is it just me or are fast food, fast casual places just getting so out of hand? Tell me how we just left Jersey Mike's. I got one sandwich, a giant sandwich, the biggest one they have, but double meat and two bags of chips. It was $32 for a sandwich. $32.

[00:08:48]There's no more $5 foot longs. It was a $5 thing. I h they they do have different deals that are starting to come out with for $5 um because they know that people just aren't going to pay it anymore. And the prices keep going up because y'all keep paying for it. So why wouldn't they raise the price? You got if if you go back to something and they raise the price, just stop. Just you got to at some point say no, right? I mean, any rational human being would would think that way. You just got to say no at some point, huh? Can we get some rational behavior going on in this world?

[00:09:36]Everything has to be so psychotic.

[00:09:42]Oh boy.

[00:09:45]And I, you know, I get it. The the price of uh the inflation's going up and they keep printing money. So, and then people want more money for their minimum wage, so they have to keep raising the prices.

[00:09:58]They don't have but they're the thing is folks that a lot of people aren't thinking of is a lot of these CEOs every single year are reporting record profits de they can complain about the rising cost of the ingredients and all that stuff and everybody wanting $15 an hour for a startup job, a beginner's job and all that, But folks, if it was so bad, they wouldn't be reporting record profits all the time.

[00:10:34]Can we get a little bit of sense going on here? You know, it's like talking to your boss when you were younger. Hey, do you think I could possibly get a raise?

[00:10:45]you know, and then the boss starts bitching about all the overhead and then you see that he just got a brand new Corvette and you're like, "What the heck? You just got done bitching at me about the overhead and how dare I bring up a raise." And you could see his face turn red when you asked for a raise and starts talking about all the overhead.

[00:11:08]But I mean, thick, oh, when did you get that new thick gold chain? you know, all that stuff. You know what I'm talking about. And yes, having a business, you know, you deserve to get a little bit more cuz it's stressful and all that. I understand that, you know, but also what happened to caring about people, huh?

[00:11:29]So, let's have some solutions here.

[00:11:33]Coupons. You can get coupons if you absolutely insist on eating the fast food sometimes here and there. you can uh cook more at home and uh and so on, huh? So, folks, give this video a thumbs up, please.
