Actinic keratoses are precancerous skin growths caused by cumulative sun exposure, typically appearing on sun-exposed areas; they can be effectively removed through a minor surgical procedure where the doctor makes a small nick on the side of the growth to extract the lesion, with the injection being the most uncomfortable part of the procedure.

Oscar's Actinic Keratosi Removal追加:
Before we get started on this video, remember there are hundreds of archived and new videos under the members section of the John Gilmore page. Please check it out.
>> actinic keratoses, and these are from sun exposure when you were a kid, Oscar.
Now, did you get a lot of sun when you were younger?
>> Oh, yeah.
>> Yeah, okay.
Now, you have a mole here, and we're not going to worry about that. And we have some other skin marks, and these are just going to be followed by us. But, we do have a couple of what are known as pores of Winer's.
So, we're going to go ahead and remove these for you.
And we're going to do that right now.
First thing I'm going to do is I'm going to go ahead and and just give you a little injection.
You might feel a little stick, sting, or burn. Are you ready?
>> Mhm.
>> All right, little stick. This is >> sting, and then burn.
>> Sting and a burn.
>> Mhm.
>> Shouldn't be too bad, maybe a little bee sting.
There we go. Now, that one. Now, we're going to go ahead and get this other one down here that's a little bit larger.
Did you watch the baseball game last night, Gonzo?
>> No, I was busy doing laundry.
>> What?
>> I made it through the 11th inning.
>> 11th inning?
>> Yeah.
>> This is just for everyone's reference, this is game one, right? World Series.
Royals and uh Who was it? Mets, Mets, yeah.
>> Mhm.
>> I didn't Obviously, I didn't watch it.
Once my Astros were out of it, I wasn't interested anymore.
Just the way it is.
>> Oh, boy, we went to game four.
>> Did you?
>> Yep.
When they were up six to two in the seventh inning.
>> Oh, I remember.
That's a painful painful >> sad.
>> And so, basically, we just make a little nick right on the side of these, and and then we'll be able to get everything out. You want to do it?
>> I know.
>> So, did Did Mr. Gonzo watch uh >> No, well, I don't really know cuz I know he was too busy doing his projects that he needs to do for school.
>> Yeah.
>> Cuz as you know, he's at the end of almost at the end of his schooling.
>> Yeah.
>> This is what he was doing and uh It's really tough. I didn't realize how tough it was till I saw what he was.
>> Did you see that coming out?
>> Yeah.
Me, neither. [clears throat] >> There it is.
>> Yeah.
>> [gasps] >> I swear both of them came out with without much of an argument.
>> Yeah.
>> Came right on out of there.
>> Have a little cord down in there?
>> Yeah. The the larger one kind of did.
I'm just going to make sure that's empty.
There we go.
>> this one on the front that'd make a good picture.
>> Yeah, that would, wouldn't it?
>> Mhm.
>> Yeah, we just had a little more material in there, but I think that's all empty now. There it is right there.
>> You okay?
>> Mhm.
>> Did it hurt much?
>> No.
>> Yeah, we gave you >> Needle hurt the most.
>> That old stick sting and a burn, right?
>> Mhm.
>> All right, so are you rooting for either one of the teams or is it >> Yeah, Kansas City.
>> You're a Kansas City guy, huh?
>> Well, they beat us.
>> Uh-huh.
>> So, yeah, that's right. That's kind of what happened with that.
>> That's right. That's right. That's kind of how I was thinking about it. If the team that beats you, beats your team, if they win, then makes you feel better, doesn't it?
>> Mhm.
>> You're a good sport. We'll do that other one in the front or two in the front next time, okay?
>> Okay.
>> Suzanne and I take Dr. G's Meta Seven.
>> This right here?
>> I've been taking it since uh about for 1 month, actually. [music] And I really enjoy it because uh it activates my life just like it says.
I have lots of energy.
>> You do have more energy.
>> Yes, [clears throat] a lot more energy.
>> taking it as part of a weight loss program, right?
>> Yes.
>> Okay. And now, we have [music] lost some but we're not going to attribute all of that to the Meta7 because we use we use something else to help. But, the good thing is is while you're losing weight, you [music] still have lots of >> energy.
>> Yeah.
Thanks.
>> You're welcome. And I like to swim, and so it's great because I can swim extra long because of the Meta7. I You know, I really really enjoy it.
>> Awesome.
>> So, yes.
>> Thanks.
>> You're welcome.
