[00:00:06]Sorry we uh we're not here for a little while. We're going to be talking today how basically it's the same old same old and you need to keep preparing in the background. The people are not being told what's exactly going on and the whispers of problems with oil and the problems with energy and the problems with products and the problems with inflation are just getting louder.

[00:00:36]So I think uh right now my personal opinion is that there's not going to be anything done to stop this trajectory and thinking that some form of a out ofthe- blue, you know, work together peace deal, whatever is going to happen.

[00:01:01]And the reality is the reality and this is going to slowly grind on. And from what I am hearing, July is when things are going to start to really be noticeable. And I think that's what's going on right now is that they don't want things to be noticeable.

[00:01:22]They're trying to get all this stuff done in the background. And I think both sides are playing a waiting game and they both think that they can outweight outlast the other.

[00:01:37]Japan just drew down their petroleum reserves to the lowest it's ever been.

[00:01:44]America is getting there. We drew more out like last week or whatever it was than we've done before. And we're not at the lowest, but we're close. Europe with all the problems going on not just from the Middle East but also now from the kickup of the summer fighting in the eastern part of that continent.

[00:02:11]They're starting to face problems with energy.

[00:02:16]You might have heard uh they they are raising the cap on what they uh purchase or they're lifting it. There will be no one for what they purchase uh barrels from Russia.

[00:02:32]So they had like certain economic things that they could only do. Well, that's being lifted because there's just constraints.

[00:02:40]So now you've got all these different areas and pressures going on.

[00:02:50]And I mean, you're not getting any relief from anywhere. And I think over the next month, you're going to start to see the real signs that all this is actually starting to play out in a way that personally affects people.

[00:03:13]On Friday, I decided to pull the trigger and get four oil change worth of my car's oil.

[00:03:27]And of course, my wife sees it be delivered because I got it from, you know, a delivery pretty darn good price, too. Well, I still can cuz my specific oil, I heard, is having problems.

[00:03:42]So, I ordered it and I need to get oil filters. I'm looking at those today.

[00:03:52]Arrives at the house and my wife is like, "What is this?" And I'm like, well, and I explain it to her and I show her some evidence to back it up and I say, hey, worst thing that happens is I go, I take this over cuz we go to a local guy to do the oil. I don't go to the big chain, whatever. I want a guy that's been doing it for 40 years and is a vet instead of some kid that's been doing oil changes for 6 months because his buddy uh who gets him the herb decided to bring him on board for ease of transaction. if you know what I mean.

[00:04:27]I can always take it over to him and he can do it, you know, and use our oil and we'll discount it whatever. Even if it's not that much of a discount, just knowing that I've got the ability to change my oil in a time when all of this stuff is really becoming problematic or at least the initial phases, it makes me feel good. And that's kind of what prepping is. I'm hearing enough and I don't just go out and rando by like I need research. I need things to be, you know, evidence-based.

[00:05:02]I need things to be starting to be talked about. I need notices from company uh companies. I need um you know, signs on doors saying, "Hey, we're having issues."

[00:05:19]When I start to see that stuff, I know that it's not too far away.

[00:05:25]And I also know that the best thing for me right then is to basically lock in and secure something and, you know, have it. That's prepping.

[00:05:38]So, if there's a problem, I have it.

[00:05:42]Now, the strategic oil reserve thing and all that. I mean, we'll see how it plays out. Maybe that's why they're playing around with all this stuff. I mean, gas is lower this weekend than it was in the last month.

[00:05:57]So, of course, hopefully you you've topped off, filled up and all that, but at some point that's that's not going to happen. It's it's going to we're going to have problems that are going to be noticeable to people.

[00:06:14]The other issue is is that the inflation and all that, and we've talked about this, it really hasn't even fleshed itself out yet.

[00:06:24]My mother-in-law has a diesel DY because she's got horse farms, so she's got trailers and things that need to be, you know, towed.

[00:06:37]She was talking about filling up her truck and it was half full was like $90.

[00:06:48]So, you do the math on that.

[00:06:53]There are lots of people out there that are that are paying that price. But the main thing is is that there are lots of people that are running businesses, that are shipping food, that are shipping materials, goods, resources, whatever you want to call them, and they're paying the price.

[00:07:12]And also, what happens if we really do get down to a critical moment? Who do you think is going to get the priority of all this stuff? Do you think it's going to be you? Or do you think it's going to be the military or the police department or the fire department? Trust me, the first responders and all that, they're the ones that are going to have priority and you'll be the one on rationing. There was already rationing going on in uh Ukraine because of the recent activities.

[00:07:42]There was uh you know, you can only get so much in the Crimea and Daetsk regions.

[00:07:51]So all these things you need to be taken care of. Now I there's a good chance that this this will all work out, you know, always. But like how reliable is that? You know, how reliable is it that all these things are going to just work out perfectly and you know that's too much of a dice roll for me.

[00:08:18]I don't want to roll the dice. I don't like to be beholden to the whims of people in power thinking that this is the time to go for it.

[00:08:30]And trust me, that's another thing. Our friends in the center of all this.

[00:08:37]They're not going to just let this all go to waste. They're taking this opportunity. In fact, they're expanding.

[00:08:46]And they know why.

[00:08:48]because this in their minds is their big chance.

[00:08:52]So, what are we going to do here? We, you know, do you think we're gonna cut something and and come out and everything will be ended or I mean, every time we we try to do that, it becomes um another time when things, you know, just cuz we're ramping down, things expand in other places.

[00:09:11]So, that's where we're at. you need to be acting accordingly. Um, this is affecting energy, but I think it's going to affect it even more. And I don't even think we seen anything yet. So, I would be getting things and getting prepared for such things cuz well, guess what?

[00:09:35]You do it the right way, the the worst thing that happens is you're just going to lock in a price.

[00:09:40]You're not going to you're not going to waste too much. You know, don't go out and buy anything you want.

[00:09:45]But research it, get some evidence. If it's not looking good, what what's what's the problem? Trust me, you'll figure out a way to use it. We do.
