Community empowerment through local gatherings and collective action can effectively challenge systemic corruption by decentralizing power from central institutions to individuals, neighborhoods, and local councils, enabling people to take direct action rather than relying on political solutions.

Putting Unity Back In Community - Darren Bergwerf
Added:Hi guys, thanks for tuning in to another episode of Nuggets News. Today we are joined by Darren Bergwerf from My Place Australia trying to unite Australians against all this corruption. So, a lot happening lately, Darren. Welcome to the show.
>> Uh thanks, Nugget. Uh I'm happy to be here and uh have the opportunity to uh get a message out on another platform.
>> So, for those that haven't followed you, what's your background and how did you get into this and and what exactly are you doing?
>> All right. So, my background uh is uh I've been in the building industry been a carpenter uh all my life. Left school in year 10. Um started work and uh you know, I've run my own business. I've been successful. Had I had a family. Had four kids. Uh and uh you know, I'm I'm just a very passionate man in whatever I do I give it 110%.
Um and you know, I don't have the attributes that a lot of people do. I don't have the natural raw talent. Um but I just uh just through sheer will I um make sure that I'm successful at everything that I do. So, uh I got into this back in um in 2021.
Uh well, I actually been following uh Brexit, Trump uh all the way through from 2015.
Uh switched my attention to Australia in 2021.
Um and then my had two my two oldest boys were working in the building industry. And uh the commercial building industry and when it came out that uh John Setka and the CFMEU um had basically done a deal with Dan Andrews to mandate these poisonous jabs uh to every building worker. Uh that's that was a red flag for me. That was uh that was war um right there. So, I attended the um CFMEU office on Monday the 20th.
Uh we all saw how that ended up. Uh I certainly wasn't involved in doing any damage. Um and then I was back in Melbourne the next day when we marched around 27 km. We we walked that day and we just took over the city. We took over the Westgate Bridge and we shut it down and uh it actually uh reminded me of my days out grade six at Emerald Primary School when I organized a heap of my mates to walk around uh the the schoolyard at lunchtime chanting we hate school, we hate school. That was my first rally and uh so it was a bit of a flashback walking up Westgate Bridge to say, you know what, uh we're going to put a stamp we're not going to accept this [ __ ] any longer. And um it wasn't long after that, that was September. Um obviously I wasn't at the shrine when everyone got shot the day after. I had um some important business to to attend to.
Um but I opened up my building uh in in October 2021 on a Friday afternoon and I said, right, that's [ __ ] we're not allowed to go out. Everyone's welcome to come along, bring your own grog cuz I don't have a license, bring your own food, I'll put the barbecue on. I think uh week one Friday afternoon at 4:00 we had 38 people. Uh week two was bigger and by week three we had over 300 people. The building was buzzing, we had families, kids running around, we had face painters, we had uh Bollywood dancers, we had food truck in the back lane. And um and it was born at 2:30 Saturday morning. Uh I I said I'm going to call it my place and I said everybody can own this building, own this space as their own. They can call it mine. Um and that's where the My Place one of thing come from uh to build a bit of patriotism and and passion. And then of course then it spread out to uh you know all all the other towns and suburbs around the country. Um we've got about 195 locations. Uh Darwin, Mount Isa, Cairns, Tablelands, Townsville, all through Queensland. Uh not all of them are operating um you know because uh it takes a lot of work and uh this is a thing that I I see that uh Australians aren't willing to do the hard work um and and commit to it long-term. Um you know if it gets a bit hard they give up.
So we're trying to reboot this year um and uh and grow community, put unity back into community.
>> So in a nutshell, My Place the concept is people doing what you did, get getting together and at a common location um with everyone free to you know chat and whatever and just rebuild community, I guess, for the people that are into the freedom movement.
>> Yeah, 100%. Um, because you know, we've got a lot of keyboard warriors. Um, we've got a lot of naysayers and uh victims. Uh and uh you know, I I tour Victoria every Sunday. We we drive around. I went free markets to Geelong, um Belmont and Torquay one Sunday morning. Did a live through the Torquay market and and it was buzzing like and I'm just trying to explain to people that, you know, we we hold all the power. The people hold the power. Have some discipline where you spend your money and stop supporting BlackRock and Vanguard through your your multinational corporations and your big supermarkets. Get out of that clinical face recognition um [ __ ] system and come down and meet your people in your town. Meet your people at your market. Support small and micro business. Spend your money there, not with the big corporations. This is how we take our power back, um very simply without putting your neck on the line.
>> Yeah. And one of the things you've been talking about is kind of um like the influencers. There's a lot of like new influencers the past couple of years and I guess one of the criticisms has maybe been that they play on the kind of like anger and they're regurgitating the mainstream news and calling out the BS, but there's no real solutions. Or for me, I sort of see them as maybe not going to that next level and talking about, well, who's really behind it and who's pulling the strings and if you're still thinking that another politician or voting your way out of this is going to change things, it's uh probably not going to play out right.
And I mean, everyone's on their own waking up journey, so maybe these people don't realize the next level yet. Um, but I'm What are your thoughts on all of it?
>> Yeah, 100%. Um, I I think there are a lot of influencers that are more interested in uh gaining followers and uh and likes than they are um just giving the hard-hitting information. And I'm not here to be liked. Um, I'm not here to get followers.
Uh and I'm not here to make money. I'm I'm I'm here to deliver a message so people can look at things from a different perspective. Uh, and then they can decide for themselves whether it's got any uh, credibility in in the things that I speak about. So, yeah, I don't believe there's a political answer. Um, the system as far as I'm concerned is an archaic Roman style um, you know, top-down dictatorship. Uh, it's a slave system and you know, to think that you can actually uh, get the um, the old world order uh, to create our new world uh, is just it's it's a ridiculous. It's a fallacy. It's they're not going to create the world that we want. Only we can create that world. So, the new world order is the people. That is us, not Klaus Schwab. Um, and we've got to take it by the uh, take the bull by the horns and actually risk something uh, or not risk something. I mean, just turning off the news, just focusing on uh, going internal rather than external and making a decision for yourself. Uh, look in the mirror every morning and every night.
What did I change today? Have I Have I changed? Have I done something um, to help the cause or am I just waiting for someone else to do it?
>> So, what are some things that you guys have been involved in or that are happening behind the scenes that people might not know about to kind of bring about this change, yeah?
>> Uh, look, I've been through the whole gamut of uh, you know, I was told um, you know, uh, back in 2021 when I uh, with from Brian Shaw, uh, one of my first mentors, that uh, you know, the the election system says you can't go you can't go you're committing a crime by running. Um, and look, at that time um, I uh, I believed I was doing it for the right cause and as uh, people today, so I'm not I'm not actually criticizing people um, for the actions they're taking as long as they're taking some kind of action.
Um, and you know, I ran in the uh, the federal election in 2022. Um, I I realized at that point that our solution's not in Canberra. Uh, it's at our local level. We need to get up there and um, and start um, you know, rattling the cage at our local councils which we did very successfully through 2022 and 2023.
We had all kinds of drag queens to story time the kids shows shut down and all this kind of stuff.
Then I ran in the state election only because I committed before the federal election even finished that I would run in the state election that same year.
I'd already decided that there's no political answer after what I saw and and was involved in in in the federal election.
So I ran in the state election and then I moved on from there and start of 2023 I did a 20 minute video and I basically said the the old system we don't need to put any attention there. We got to turn our back and start building the new. While we're fighting while we're distracted by the circus and the smoke and mirrors I call it.
While we're distracted by the smoke we're actually don't have the mind availability to create. It stops our creative kind of mindset. So we need to start creating and and that's where you know where we're going. We're getting back to that this year.
While at the same time we also still need to expose the system for what it is. We need to offer people some knowledge about a deeper knowledge about what the system is and I call it the low hanging fruit.
There's over 4 million didn't vote at the last federal election only 12 months ago. Now if we can get so that's to six or seven million before 2028 which I believe is achievable the government's going to help us achieve that. They're putting their foot on the throats more and more. They're waking up more people and and I see the flock is on the move.
Are the liberal labor on the move to one nation? One nation people might be on the move to what what I'm talking about developing our own system. So it's all of the above.
They are just being surrounded by you know positive actions that are being taken by people.
>> Yeah and some examples for people at home and you've probably got a couple more, but I think it was Gympie that got uh fluoride removed from the water. Um it's these things where people can go to these council meetings or just pick up the phone and you know, there's another meeting down here in Tassie about all these data centers that are going in this weekend cuz the community is so concerned already. I just got off the phone with one of their counselors explaining cuz again, you got to remember these people have got 9-5 jobs and they're busy. They They've got no idea what these data centers are or how they work or the water and energy. So, just kind of it's these little pieces of the puzzle and that's why I kind of say knowledge is power. It's kind of like the first step.
People have to know what's going on in this evil agenda before they can start to um you know, you can't defeat the enemy you don't know.
>> 100% and that's that's exactly that's a really good point uh because uh I say the same thing. You know, you first all I mean we've got a lot of groups in this country and I'm involved or aware of and speak to most of them.
Um but you cannot and I've said this from day one, you cannot teleport people from just waking up to where you've landed uh and what you your strong belief is. The journey is more important than destination because if you don't do the journey, um the destination is is just like uh you're on Mars. You don't recognize uh where you are. So, people need to go on the journey, but the first thing that we I believe that we need to get through to the masses is um is they've got to be aware that there's a problem first before they even worry about what the solution is. So, you know, to me uh explaining the depth um I mean the whole system as far as I'm concerned is an organized crime syndicate right across the board.
They're all colluding, they're racketeering, uh an executive order 13818 will come into play at some time when we have courts of competent jurisdiction, which we clearly don't at the moment. But does that mean that we don't do we don't uh still hold them to account? No, it's not about winning.
It's about taking the action. We are slowing them down. We are tying them up.
We are getting an awareness and showing people like Glenn how he got treated. Um people actually seeing this now and and seeing what the system is. So, until you expose just how systemically criminal and corrupt the system is, people won't look for a solution, right? You You're too far advanced for their mindset. So, to me, the initial thing for all of us to be doing is talking full on, getting the same message from all the influencers, um that the system is systemically corrupt, um and and get all the evidence to back those claims up, which there is a litany of evidence, as you know.
>> Yeah, and I think all the Aussie "she'll be right" attitude is cuz we have been the lucky country for so long, and everyone generally, you know, owned a house and saw their property go up and um then you have the flip side of how indoctrinated our education system is, and this goes back like many decades with the MK-Ultra style stuff and the propaganda, as well as the Australia being one of the most highly fluoridated country. So, I think uh we're kind of seeing everything being shaken up at the moment for the first time, which is getting people to say something's wrong and something's corrupt. But I really think it's the the children, and like you say, um Glenn Fisher, Rachel Vaughn, uh Fiona Barnett, once it really comes out and we start to see some high-level arrests, I saw there was another attorney general and the charges got increased yesterday with the child abuse stuff. So, yeah, this is the type of stuff that I think can maybe unite us once we all realize that we're all in the same team versus corrupt, you know, pedophiles or part of these secret societies and that type of stuff, right?
>> Yeah, 100%. Um you know, the ANZAC spirit is is to uh to not leave a soldier or not leave anyone on the battlefield. Um and I just see that a lot of uh a lot of these people that spruik that spirit um are actually running off into a cave and uh and they're saying let the you know, the dead bury the dead kind of thing. Um to me, that's that's not the attitude.
Um we we need to uh you know, we're behind enemy lines. Uh I believe the government declared war on us in 2020 with the lockdowns and the curfews.
That's plain and simple. And anyone that soft balls the language they're too scared to speak their mind and speak the absolute cold hard facts.
Well, they shouldn't have a platform as far as I'm concerned.
The time for trying to protect yourself and and play politics is well and truly over. I said it in my speech outside Parliament House in September last year.
I said it on McNight tonight last Wednesday. Also, he brought up that speech or part of the speech I did at Parliament. And that's the facts. You can't hide from the facts and you know, while we continue to you know, walk on egg shells or try and play politics and come at it from an angle of nicety, um we're we're not going to achieve too much. We need to be more brutal with our assessment and our language of what we are faced with.
>> So, I know you said you're updating the website and I felt I feel like a lot of people said we kind of had a lot of momentum with people marching and whatever in COVID and it died off a bit.
But now with the foot on the throat, I think people are starting to get ready to take action again. So, like what is your goal from the website? Is it just to have these locations and these meetups and people sign up because this is something that I've been talking about and you know, maybe it sounds like you've already probably built a lot of this solution. Is that when people wake up it can be pretty lonely if they their family members are still in the matrix, their their friends, their work colleagues, whatever. And so, you know, we have regular meetups down here and it's very powerful to build new friendships and stuff. So, is that kind of the the shape of the idea of what what you want to do, yeah?
>> Yeah, 100%.
It is it's meeting in person and being connected and feeling that you're not on your own. I mean, I've been told met by many, many people that you know, when I opened the building in 2021 at the depths of despair that it saved lives.
You know, even that night when I at 2:30 the next morning I got a story from a local real estate agent that said you know, his wife because you know, we're heading up to Christmas this is late October his wife had decided that she was going to go and get jabbed because the family didn't want them to be around at Christmas for Christmas dinner.
And he was he was in in tears and he said after you did your speech tonight she's decided now she's not going to go and get jabbed. So and and other people as well were distraught. So it is about finding we're only strong as our weakest link and if we're allowing people to to you know, to to do it on their own do it solo. We've got to give them the confidence and and the courage and empower each and every one of us and this is where I keep saying the same thing. We need to remove power and decentralize power from camera and Spring Street in Melbourne to every town, suburb, neighborhood, street, household and individual and we're here to facilitate and help them bring them up off the ground come in and in a in a community that's there to educate them support them and when they need help they've got someone they can call and that's that's how we rebuild this country. It's from the ground up. It's never going to be rebuilt or changed from the top down.
>> So where are you at now? Can people currently sign up and start their own meet up and stuff?
>> Yeah, we we haven't started any new ones for well over 12 months. So we did have a whole team of newbies and we'd do a zoom and they'd come in and but the issue we've we've got I think and and all the groups have probably got the same issue and I think they have. Is it in 2021 2022 and even in 2023 we were very much United because we were the victim.
Right? And we were looking for We were marching and we were we were one and we were angry, we were passionate. As we moved from being the victim and and things kind of went back to normal, whatever you want to call normal, um then everyone's focus turned to solutions and people went this way, that way and every other way listening to people's solutions. So, the whole freedom movement, the way I see it, is very fragmented.
Um My place is no different and you know, everyone's in their their own kind of beliefs, but I I do believe people will come full circle and come back to realize that all of those solutions, unless we one people, um are not going to necessarily work because it is a numbers game and we need this whole country taking the right actions and pushing back and taking the the inactions as well, the right inactions where like where they spend their money, etc. So, it will come full circle, but yes, people can start a My Place community.
You know, we are on Facebook and there's a reason for that. It is the biggest platform whether people hate it, love it or everything in between. It's irrelevant. It's irrelevant being tracked. ASIO listen to my phone calls.
I have for years.
I don't care. I've got nothing to hide.
I'm an open book and that's why I did the Zoom last night cuz I am concerned that the the policy enforcers and Gestapo will be using this cover story of you know, oh, we're looking for leads for people that may have helped Desi.
That's [ __ ] You know, Peter and Donna are so far removed from that whole thing.
They went there deliberately to steal their electronic devices. And as we know, Peter and Donna and the rest of the trustees, which I'm one of, about to go to the Hague uh a heap of evidence and we're trying to get the the funds repatriated, which is in the trillions of dollars, uh for a sovereign wealth fund um for this nation to start doing humanitarian projects. So, they uh are fully aware and I I believe more raids will happen.
Um Anyone that has a lot of evidence, whether it's be about child trafficking, whether it's be about pedophilia, uh with uh people in high places, uh whether it be what we're doing, uh there'll be more raids and they're going to use that cover story uh that it's all about Desi. Um but they're just there to steal your equipment, slow you down, and intimidate you.
>> Absolutely. Well, man, I'll link to all your socials for people to check them out uh down below and maybe start their own meetups or join another one. But, um any final thoughts for people home, anything we haven't touched on today you think's really important?
>> Uh look, I'm sure there there is that don't come to the front of mind right at the moment, mate, but that's that's okay. Um No, look, it's just it's the same message. Um you know, we've got to stop talking about the politics and the policy. It's not about that. Um the the whole thing is it's a criminal issue, uh not a not a political one. So, like I said last September, um like I'll continue to say, I'm going to be like a broken record.
Um you know, this is not about policy, it's not about politics, it's not about flags, race, religion, or all the individual issues that we have because there's hundreds of them. Right, we've got to unite as one people and we need to focus our attention on the source of all of those issues. And that is a foreign occupying uh belligerent um you know, organized crime syndicate right across the board from federal to state to local. Um and people might think that's uh that's really strong language and I don't care, it is strong language, but that's how they are operating in my opinion. And uh they are racketeering and colluding with banks and and all the watchdogs. Right, there is no justice, there's no rule of law in this in this country. And it's so people can kind of get that in their heads and and comprehend the gravity um and the of the problem, Uh, we're not going to be able to get to the solution. So, to me, that is the message that everybody should be, uh, spurring. And, um, you know, I think there when we rise up as a people, uh, for all those that are watching that poopoo what's going on internationally, uh, you know, and yes, we're all disappointed. Um, we've all been expecting this to happen and that to happen.
Uh, it probably hasn't happened because we we we're not, uh, doing, uh, the heavy lifting. We This is a ground-up, top-down scenario, right? This is a war for the war for the ages, as we know.
And until we become proficient and united as one people, and we start to take our country back, um, not through the ballot box or the courts cuz it's not achievable there. All we're doing there, really, is, um, is gaining evidence. Um, so we're collecting evidence. We're we're forcing their hand, and we're making them expose themselves for a later court trial. So, we need to, as a people, unite uh, behind common, uh, issue, which is focus our attention on the corrupt government, and forget about, or not forget about, but just park all the different issues that we have as an individual or as a community, and, um, and get the right message. Because when we become united on that message, and every influencer in this country is speaking the same language and exposing the crime rather than talking about, uh, you know, lobbying politicians, then I think we're going to get some momentum. So, yeah.
Um, I love love everything that everyone's doing. It's fantastic. Uh, we're all doing something. We're all having cause and effect. Um, I just like to see the language, uh, of what we're actually facing, um, be spoken a lot more, uh, bluntly by every influencer that has a platform.
>> Fantastic, mate. Well, that's a great spot to wrap up. So, guys, check out MySpace, and, um, Darren, we'll have to have you back on again in future to check progress and and all that.
>> Yeah, no, I'd love to come back again, mate. It's been great, and once again, thank you for the opportunity.
>> Cheers, guys.
