Successful partnerships require understanding what matters to the other party and finding common goals where both parties benefit; effective partnership building involves asking open-ended questions about the other party's needs and preferences rather than proposing specific plans, and ensuring both parties feel they are the 'luckiest one' in the arrangement.

How to approach partnerships in this industry and make them work for everyone.Added:
I think that the most important thing when working with someone else is figuring out what matters to them. If you can find some common goals, if you can find ways that you are helping them that also help you, then it works. So, let's say I want to work with a particular resort. Like there's a lot of things that they could need. Maybe if I talk to them first and say, "When are the quieter times in your calendar? Like when would be a good time for you to come?" Rather than to say for me to come, rather than to say, "I want to do a camp on July 4th, right?" And then if I am coming like what do they want to get out of it? Not just what do I need from them? So, is it that they want [music] help with F&B? Do they want Do they have a new retail store that they want me to somehow do a promotion with?
Do they want to get more women to the resort? Do they want more families? Like basically, what can I do that's going to make it good for them that makes them want to help me? So, that's from that perspective. I think a partnership works when both people feel like they're the luckiest one in the partnership.
