[00:00:15]Hi everybody, Tim Barts here, Ford video guy at L MacArthur Ford in Salana, Kansas, your source for Ford news, update and information, including your Maverick information today on a Monday.

[00:00:25]And uh we're going to do a video today, but uh we are going to probably take a little break from the Maverick Monday videos the next couple weeks because uh order guides came out on some other vehicles that I'll need to get some videos out on those. But this week, I did want to do one because I want to kind of talk about a couple things.

[00:00:40]First off, check out our inventory out here. Uh but let's turn this camera around and show you some of the things here. If you watched last week's video, you'll know that we do have a we did have a hail sale going on and we we made this very easy on our Mavericks because we've actually had a bunch of Mavericks fresh inventory come in with no hail damage. Um, but you'll be able to tell vehicles with hail damage. Um, by the way, all the windshields are all replaced already on these. So, a lot of these that are getting some of this that have hail damage, you can see green tag in the window tells you it's a hill unit, but I think you probably can look at the hood and tell. Uh but even those that have been fixed, you'll have those hang tags in them. Uh you'll know that.

[00:01:25]But all these got new windshields. We had a wind company come in and just replace windshields right and left. This is a new one. Just came in last week, so it's fresh. No hail damage to it. So we have a mixture. We're about um almost 50/50 on these Mavericks cuz we sold a lot of Mavericks during this hail sale because again, we had some of these marked down clear down to to like $24,000, right? Um fixed. And if you want to get it unfixed, you could take another three grand off of that. We had some of them that were like under $22,000 um if you didn't didn't mind the hail damage and and just get it fixed yourself. Uh right, and just take all the savings and then and then pay for it to get fixed. But we've had a lot of these fresh units show up as well in here. Uh so we have some Now we do have Oh, we still have one windshield that's missed uh that needs fixed, but a lot of them have been fixed. And look at all these blue ones, blue Mavericks here.

[00:02:18]I don't know if you guys have seen this new wheel. Really liking the light blue with the uh with that wheel on it. Uh I think we talked about that last week, but looks really sharp on these and some other custom wheels in here. But the main reason I want to talk about today, the main reason I wanted to talk to you guys today uh was to talk about our fifth annual Midwest Maverick Meetup uh that is going to be taking place July 24th and 25th right here in Salana, Kansas. Uh most of those festivities will be taking place right here on our lot right here with all these other Mavericks. So if you want to come, we got all kinds of activities planned for this. Not just a kind of a car show on Saturday, which we'll have that u but also on Friday, we usually do a destination drive. Now, last year we did go down some dirt roads and it it had rained. We won't do that for to you guys this year. We'll we'll do a little drive. Everybody get together. We'll do a drive on uh on Friday. Also on um Friday night, uh we're planning to caravan together to Canopoulos, Kansas.

[00:03:22]Not that long of a drive. They have a drive-in over there. You guys remember the drive-ins? Uh so we already talked to them. We're going to drive over there and uh we'll we'll get a special price for everybody. If you want to take take uh participate in that, they'll usually uh of course the movies start at dark.

[00:03:39]Um most of us probably just watch one movie and then come back together. Um, and we'll have a have fun just hanging out with each other. We'll try to park the Mavericks together and uh just have a special time on that Friday night. And then Saturday, we'll have a car show right here from 9 to 11:00. We'll do some prizes, some giveaways. I already have some things um packed up, rated.

[00:04:00]I'm ready to give it away. Some floor liners for Maverick and some other stuff. We'll do awards as well. Um maybe the most uh the furthest traveled from, right? maybe the most miles on your Maverick, maybe the lowest miles on your Maverick. Uh we'll have some fun with some different awards uh that we'll hand out uh at the Midwest Maverick Meetup.

[00:04:21]Um and then also in town during that week is a um kind of a a car show as well. So it's a uh Customs Classics uh Kemp's Custom Classics or something like that. But there's a lot of cool old cars that'll be here in town as well. You'll drive around and you just check it out.

[00:04:39]if you're coming in Thursday night, you're, you know, you, we'll have some people will get together and hang out as well. So, anyway, it'll be a good time.

[00:04:47]So, make sure you uh check out our website, llamacarththur.com. Under the events tab, you'll see the Midwest uh information. No need to register. No registration required. Um, just show up.

[00:04:58]Um, it is free, 100% free. None of the activities are going to cost other if you want to go to the Canopoulos drive-in, uh, you'll need to pay to get into that. Um, but none of the events here at the dealership or anything are going to cost does not cost to register your vehicle for the car show. Every vehicle that shows up is going to qualify and uh yeah, we'll have a lot of fun. Uh, we'll probably uh, you know, give away some shirts and stuff like that. So, definitely make sure you you come by, check it out. Um, we love we know we have some people from Oregon coming from Maine that are driving up uh, all kinds of places, maybe California, right Brian? Anyway, but hopefully we'll have a lot of people and have a lot of fun. So, check that out.
