In the crypto space, users increasingly face KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements that demand personal identification documents, creating privacy concerns when exploring new projects. The Palau ID offers an alternative solution by providing a digital residency card that can be used for KYC verification without exposing primary identity documents like passports or driver's licenses. This approach allows users to participate in crypto activities such as using exchanges or testing new projects while maintaining a layer of identity protection. The presenter demonstrates this by applying for the Palau ID and testing it on platforms like Binance and Mexi, highlighting that while not all platforms accept it, it serves as a practical privacy-preserving alternative for crypto users who want to explore new opportunities without compromising their personal identity information.

The Mainnet LIVE! new phone, who dis?Added:
[music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> Mhm.
>> [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] [music] >> All right.
Let's get started.
Um Just trying to get a camera connected.
The plan today is to do an open box as part of the live stream, so I'm hoping this works out okay.
There's always something going on here.
Uh good morning, good afternoon, good evening, wherever you're watching.
Thanks for joining the main net stream.
Uh in today's stream, I'm going to be talking about a few different things.
I'm going to be talking about um uh privacy and uh solutions around what we are experiencing right now in terms of KYC um in the crypto space specifically.
Uh I'm going to be talking about uh a card that I'm going to be testing out.
It's like a crypto credit card. However, this one doesn't require me to use KYC methods. So, I'm I'm excited to try it out and I'll be talking about that a little bit. Uh I got some new dapps. I'm going to just run over some highlights of uh some staking methods that's that um I'm using. Uh just give you an update on what's happening with Trampoline.
Um and where that's sitting right now.
Uh also a couple other uh dapps that I found out about that I'm going to be uh testing and using and uh just to give you a heads up on those things. So, uh we'll go ahead and get started in just a minute here. Just uh letting a couple things start.
I probably shouldn't have done that before, but I just got home.
So, I'll jump in the chat in just a minute.
Go.
I I I I'm assuming you're going to be talking about the X Forge, but if you're skeptical, that is correct. You should be skeptical as am I. Um the phone itself came out a while I say at least they introduced it over a year ago, maybe a year and a half ago. I just got my hands on one. So, we're going to take a look at it and take a look at the specs and everything else that goes along with it.
Polo D Kid, what's up? It's a new phone.
It's not a secret phone. It's not on Solana. If anything, it's on the another chain. It's a layer three on Ethereum.
Layer three on Ethereum. CCM, welcome.
Thank you for joining.
Uh just had the Matrix Money Pay podcast that was yesterday. Uh we had a good episode yesterday. If you haven't checked it out, I'll make sure to link that down below.
Enemy God 6280, welcome. Thank you for joining.
>> [snorts] >> Uh so, as I go through um just the nonsense that I'm going to be talking about, feel free to uh drop questions in the chat if it's related to the Secret Phone, if it's related to Deepen projects, nodes, or the Node Factory, or anything like that, just put them down there. Uh yes, CCM, thank you very much for reminding me.
Smash that like button. Trying to grow the channel, that helps. Subscribe if you haven't already.
Uh talk a lot about the Secret Phone lately and what's happening in that space. Uh because of it in in my perspective, that is one of the very few things that's actually exciting. Uh crypto's pretty depressing right now.
Sadly, crypto is pretty depressing. Um okay, so let's just get into the first thing that I was going to talk about, and that is KYC and the problem that at least I'm experiencing. It really depends on Come on. Come on. Come on.
I can do better than this. There we go.
Okay.
We're up here. Okay, so the KYC problem that I'm experiencing, and maybe that's not the same experience that you're having cuz uh not everywhere in the world is having uh issues when you have wallets, or exchanges, or if you're using predictive market tools, and uh any type of transaction where you typically want to use USDC or USDC is now requiring some sort of mechanism in place where you have to validate who you are and where you're from.
And uh if you're in the crypto space and you dabble into a lot of new projects like I do, you may not feel comfortable scanning your driver's license, your passport, and then just putting it out into the abyss of the internet. Uh I know myself I have backed off of a lot of projects just because of that, especially when they're new.
One of the main issues is when it's a new project, you don't know how it's going to do.
You don't know what safeguards they have in place. You don't know what they're doing with your identity once you've submitted it. If that project goes belly up, what do they do after?
So, that's one of the main issues that I had and that brings me to my solution right now and this is what I'm trying. Again, everything I talk about on my streams and in the in in my videos are things that I'm trying. It may not be the right fit for you. So, I want to make sure I say that loud and clearly because that's key. I try a lot of things and not everything is golden, but this one is a Palau ID. Now, the reason why I'm going with a Palau ID is because one of my friends, and maybe you know him, he's a YouTuber as well.
His name is Your Friend Andy.
He's in the United States. He applied for this over a year ago and it's been working out pretty good for him.
So, >> [clears throat] >> this is Palau is a country. If you don't know this, Palau is a country.
It's in the region close to Singapore, Japan, Korea. It's in the Southeast Asian region, I guess.
So, it is an island. It's a consolidation of islands over there.
It's called the Republic of Palau and what they have is they have a program right now for digital residency. And what that allows you to do is that allows you to basically buy a virtual ID. Well, actually it's not virtual, not just virtual. There is a virtual version of it, but they actually mail you a physical card and that's what I'm waiting for. So, I just applied for this over a week ago and I got approved and I went through the whole process of it.
And they are now in going to be shipping me my card and then I'm going to be testing it out. So this will work in a lot of cases during the KYC process process. Not every single platform will allow this.
So you have to double check those things. So there are some exchanges that are out there like Mexi. Mexi is one of my favorite exchanges. I know a lot of people are not a fan of it, but um they had very loose requirements when you're signing up to the exchange. And recently when I tried to sign up, they now required KYC.
Now I've talked to some other people who were able to do this by using a VPN and go through like countries like Costa Rica and stuff like that and still able to get through, but I haven't had such luck. So what I'm trying to do right now is I'm trying to get this Plow ID so I can go ahead and start using it.
So that is what the Plow ID is and some things that you need to know about it.
Let me just pull up my notes over here.
>> [snorts] >> Is uh this is not going to give you citizenship inside the country cuz some people think because you're getting a residency ID card you will get citizenship as well. It's not a path to citizenship. So I want to make sure you understand that.
It's also not a mechanism to evade taxes or anything like that as well. What you should be looking at this is an additional layer of security. Um if you're like me and you don't want to give your passport to every single program that's out there when you're just trying to tinker around and check out a project for what it is or collect an airdrop for an example, this might be that extra layer of security where you give your Plow ID rather than your normal ID and it will go allow you to go through the validation process. So that's a key thing right over there and that's something that I like about it.
Um and we'll see how it works out. So binance.com apparently works with it.
mexi.com.
There's a few other crypto exchanges that allows it. Apparently Airbnb and other thing else there are other programs that allow it as well.
Excuse me.
So I'm going to give it a shot. I'm going to see how it goes.
Um and I'll keep you posted. So the card will probably come in the next couple of weeks.
And uh jump in here in the chat just a second.
See what's going on. Greetings from Germany.
Welcome bullish bear. Thank you for joining.
Enemy God, thank you. Thank you for coming.
Our info is out there. CCM So this is one of the things that me and CCM talk about on Matrix Money podcast is like how there's been so many security breaches that have happened over the last year year and it's continuously to grow and grow and grow and AI is just making it even more difficult to um to guard yourself as well as it's giving the exploiters another tool in their toolkit to go out and seek people's information and do what they want with that.
Oh, is this stream cutting in and out?
Thanks for letting me know. Let me know guys if there's any issues um with it. I'm playing around with a few new tools.
And uh it's a camera.
Because I want to do an unboxing of this uh X4 phone soon.
And hopefully it works out.
We'll see.
Okay, thanks for confirming if it's good for you.
All right.
Okay, it looks like it's okay. If there is any other problems with audio, let me know because I am messing around with with some tools on my side.
Uh so yeah, so that's the Plutus ID and that's what I'm testing out right now and I'll see how this works out and I'll keep you up to date on how that goes.
Now, there is a card that's out there.
And this card doesn't require you to KYC.
I'm going to pop it up on the screen. I just found out about this a couple days ago.
Uh so this is extremely new. Agora is the name of the the crypto uh project.
Uh so I definitely want to make sure that you keep in mind that this is a very very new project and currently right now it's invite-only.
Um I spoke to a member of this team. Uh they gave me access. I got a link for it. So if you are interested, you can use it. But remember that this project is extremely early, so proceed with caution. But just take a look at what they're offering over here. The the key thing uh that I like about this right off the bat and the thing that got my attention is you didn't have to KYC uh in order for you to make a deposit and use your stable coins as a credit card uh for credit card transactions.
That doesn't mean that everything along with this project is safe.
Uh if you're going to start with it, make sure that you're starting with a very small digestible amount. If you lose it or something goes wrong, uh you're okay and comfortable with that.
Basically, proceed with caution.
Let's take a look at what the restrictions are because there are some restrictions over here.
Uh so why this card. Now, they're saying it's truly global acceptance. That means it's accepted around the world where most major credit cards are accepted. They have some unsupported regions and we'll take a look at that because it's not going to work absolutely everywhere.
Uh Uh multi-currency issue, they're using USDC. The two coins that I believe that they're accepting is USDC and USDT.
Uh fast shipping, so they also have a physical card. We'll take a look at that in just a second as well. Uh they got their security, discreet and private, it's instant, it's customizable. I guess your cards can get customized, and they have private 24/7 support. Now, once again, this is a very, very new project.
When I was looking at them on Twitter, they might be like 2 months old. I don't know how far along in development they are. Uh this is more about just putting it on your radar and being aware of it.
Um so, let's go down a little bit over here, because there is two different types of cards that they have available.
One thing right off the bat, I definitely have to note is there's a trade-off, because with crypto cards, typically, you get cash back, right? You usually get some cash back, and you get some sort of benefit with it. In this, there is no cash back. If anything, you're going to be paying for the card.
Uh so, that's going to be one of the major differences. But, by paying for the card, the trade-off with getting bonuses and everything else is you have to go with the KYC path. You're paying for this one, but you get to keep your privacy.
So, you kind of have to weigh out uh what's more beneficial for you.
So, they have the virtual card. Uh this is the one that I'm going to start off with. It comes with a $90 credit with a $90 fee.
Uh let me know what you think about the fees. Just drop it in the comments, and tell me what you think over here. So, they have instant activation.
Uh so, the plus over here is definitely going to be Google Pay and Apple Pay.
So, you can add this onto your phone and just start using it for transactions. Uh no ATM withdrawals uh with this one. USDC and USDS uh USDT, like I had mentioned earlier.
Global acceptance, we'll take a look at the restricted countries in just a moment.
And the card is valid for 3 years.
And I guess a million-dollar validity.
So, I guess there's a transaction limit.
Okay, so the limits are actually down here at the bottom. Daily limit, and this is a preloaded card. So, you're not using credit, you're preloading it with your own money. So, $250,000 is going to be the daily limit.
Monthly limit is a million. Per transaction is going to be $20,000. And then they have a physical card. This is the one that you can purchase and it's going to get shipped to you.
Uh so, fast shipping.
Uh the same thing is going to be Apple Pay and uh Google Pay. Uh ATM withdrawals is available for this one.
Uh the other ones are also the same USDC, USDT. And then you also have global acceptance. The difference over here is that it's valid for 4 years rather than 3 years.
The limits on the card are going to be exactly the same.
And there is one difference, which is going to be the ATM withdrawal. So, you're able to do ATM withdrawals.
Daily limit is $1,500. Monthly limit is $15,000.
So, I'll leave that up on the screen so you can take a look at it.
Uh like I said, this isn't available to everyone right now. This is uh invite only.
Um and it's extremely new. So, keep both of those in mind uh if you're interested in that.
Okay.
Sorry, guys. Just a second here.
Okay, that is I think it's Agora.
Agor or Agora, I can't remember how they pronounced it, but I'm just taking a guess over here.
All right, so next up is going to be the phone.
This is going to be the one that I'm going to be opening up right now, and it's called XFone.
It's a DePIN phone.
It's also a note. I don't know if this text is blurry. It's a little bit blurry on my screen. Let me know if you can see that okay. Um, I was using I think it was Claude or ChatGPT to get some numbers.
And this is what it got for me.
I'll take a look at the review. I'm just going to put my phone on mute here.
Okay.
So, like I had mentioned, uh this phone and this project came out a little over a year ago. So, the specs might also speak to that. Um, right now the price of the phone uh is being discounted. It's $299. The retail price is $499. It's called the founders edition. That's uh a special edition that they have right now.
Uh and that's the one that they're selling.
Uh it's being shipped to 60 plus countries, and they have their own token, which is called Kick.
Uh they've raised $5.2 million, and there's a few large companies uh that actually bought into this project and is helping funding it. So, uh once I get that up here, I'll be able to show that in just a moment. Um the physical specs of the phone octacore, 8 gigs of RAM storage is 256 gigs. It has an SD card.
Uh I don't know if anyone cares about that, but I like that. I like the expanded storage. Uh you don't find that on phones too often. The secure phone doesn't have that. Um my Pixel phone doesn't A lot of phones don't have that. So, at least they have that. Uh you're looking at a 6 and 1/2 inch display.
It's running Android. Here's a con.
It's 4G LTE, so 5G is not available on this phone.
I don't know if that matters to you, but it's 4G, which is also not too bad.
Dual SIM. You got a rear rear camera, which is going to be 64 megapixels. The front camera is 16 megapixels. Macro is 2 megapixels. It has fast charging, which is going to be 18 watts. I guess that's fast charging. NFC and it's using USB type-C.
Let's see what else we got here.
Okay. So, let's take a look at how you can earn with this phone because that is the reason why I would want this phone or why I would get this phone is to earn.
Uh Not every Deeper Network is working out.
I am I have a graveyard of Deeper Network behind me that haven't worked out. This could be one of them or it makes something. The Seeker for a while wasn't really going very strong. I wasn't sure about that. Uh but, yeah.
On the phone itself, you can run a node, which is different.
Uh you're running a node. You can run up to 20 Zardian nodes.
I don't know if that's how you say it, Zardian.
So, up to 20 of them on your device. The node app must stay online to accumulate rewards. If you turn off your phone, you stop earning.
Um if this is going to be your daily phone, then it would probably be on all the time.
Uh for me, uh like I don't even use my Seeker phone as my daily phone. Uh so, it it really depends on what you think about that and if the specs line up to what you want from a phone. Uh but, in order for you to earn with it, just keep it plugged in.
And keep it on.
So, they have the X-Forge bonus, which is going to be a 20% reward boost uh, for running it.
Is that on on a PC? Okay.
Exclusive to X Forge owners. The first 10,000 buyers get a free node license. So you can also run this on a computer, which is cool.
Um, I love nodes and I know about this project because of its node, but I never actually ran one. So I'm not sure uh, what the what the rewards are. So the reward token is called Kick and that's what you're going to get uh, from running the node. X Kick will be the one that you get from running on your phone and then you can convert it to the Kick token.
So if you're also running it on, I guess on a computer or a server somewhere, then you'd be getting the Kick token directly.
Uh, so this is something else that's interesting and I don't know if this is a pro or con. Uh, so the X Protocol chain, this is their own chain. It's a layer three. How many layer threes do you know? I don't know too many of them.
So the base layer is going to be Ethereum and then the layer two above that is going to be base and then layer three on top of that is going to be X Protocol.
So I don't know if that's a pro or con.
I guess I'll find out after I test it out. Um, but three layers, I mean, I'm pretty sure the fees are going to be low. They better be low. Um, and then they have staking benefits as ecosystem airdrops. Now, for airdrops, I don't know if they've already done anything uh, because like I said, this project is already a year in, so I need to take a look at that. Uh, this I literally received a day ago. So uh, I received it and I'm like, I'm going to check it out and do an open box in here. I don't know too much about the project itself, so I'm kind of learning uh, as we go along here.
>> [snorts] >> Uh, so they also have internal rewards.
The the token supply, So, part of the allocation for it is 10% is going to be for the XForge owners, which isn't a huge chunk. Um I remember looking at the tokenomics before, and I believe the node holders get about 20%. So, maybe you get a slice of both if you're going to be running both. Uh so, maybe that's a pro, maybe that's a con.
We'll take a look at that.
And uh here's a quick comparison spec-wise. Uh I'm just going to pull myself off the screen for just a second here.
And I'll leave this up there, so you can take a look at it while I get my camera set up. Just be 1 minute, guys.
Okay.
Uh I'm back. So, that camera looks like it's plugged in, so we'll do the open box in just a second here.
Uh I'll just quickly go into the chat and see if there is any questions.
Stream's working fine.
Portrait view. Yeah. So, the way YouTube works, it looks like the portrait view, the vertical, is the one that gets sent out for alerts the quickest.
Yeah, I don't know how to adjust that.
Yeah, but there is a normal stream on YouTube.
Antonio, from Australia or Austria, welcome.
Thank you for joining.
When ship to Nigeria? Ah, maybe Nigeria is one of those restricted countries.
I'm not sure. They don't ship everywhere.
Uh but we can check that out. I'll open up the website and we'll see if there's any uh restrictions with that.
They never shipped. How long ago did you order it?
Uh this came about a couple of days ago. I got a shipping notification maybe a week ago.
Maybe they're shipping out a new batch.
Yeah.
I have a graveyard of Deeper projects behind me. Not everyone is good.
Actually, majority are failing right now.
Sounds like Grass with its own hardware.
Yeah, actually that's a really good comparison. It does sort of sound like Grass.
Uh running a node on the phone cuz you can do that with your Seeker phone.
Um so it's very similar. Good comparison.
I didn't even know Grass had a phone.
So if Grass has a phone, that's that's new to me.
Is that the Grass phone that you got already? I got the phone three weeks ago and never started it. I have to start it first. Okay, maybe you're talking about this. Let me know what you're talking about.
How much is the kick? Oh, yeah, that's good idea. Let me check out did it even go mainnet?
Let's take a look.
How much is the kick token?
I don't even think it's mainnet cuz it doesn't show to be listed over here.
So maybe this is still in testnet.
>> [clears throat] >> How do I find out?
Yeah, my guess right now is it's in testnet still.
And that's why the token They probably didn't have their TGE yet.
But I'm guessing Um >> [laughter] >> Oh, man.
RD Tindale, welcome. Thank you for joining. So you have this. Okay.
All right. So yeah, I'm not getting good reviews right now.
Got a few comments already.
Doesn't have e-save capabilities. Okay.
Quality is crap.
Okay, so the battery's good. Maybe because all the features are so bad that the battery is good.
>> [laughter] >> Secret air drop magnet. It seems it My seeker is broken. Ah.
Let's see what it's telling air drops.
The magnet is broken.
Xphone Yes.
Uh I'm happy with my Wingbits uh antenna.
Uh I have it running in the backyard.
They had their token generation event.
The token is not doing great, but it's not doing horrible. And uh I'm hoping over time uh this recovers. Um, hoping it to for it to settle around the 1 cent before uh they start showing some revenue uh cuz that would be nice.
Yes, Math Metrics. I joined that years ago, probably about 4 or 5 years ago, and uh that was disappointing.
Um, I know they relaunched on Solana and I never even took a look at them. It It definitely seemed uh like something else is going on over there.
Yes, uh they were supposed to deploy a node. I don't think those nodes were ever released. Uh right now it seems like it's browser-based.
Uh most of it is browser-based at least.
Uh give me a second here. I'm going to see if I can get my camera up.
And we'll open this bad boy.
Okay.
We'll pop it up here.
>> All right.
If you can't hear me, let me know. If you can hear me, let me know.
Where is an exacto knife when you need it?
All right, so here is the X Forge phone.
Need to find my exacto knife.
Okay.
I don't know if you guys can hear me.
Yeah.
There we go.
All right.
Okay, you can hear me. Thanks for confirming, guys.
All right, so here is the phone.
Let's see what we got here.
Okay.
Probably shouldn't show you that.
That is more than likely I don't even know if I matters, but I'm going to pull it off.
There you go. Okay.
Maybe I shouldn't give you the serial information.
Uh so, this it's got a logo on the back.
It's got a pretty big ass camera.
Um 1 2 3 and then that looks like it's either flash or infrared or something else, some sort of sensor over there. If you guys can see that.
There we go.
And uh we'll boot it up. I don't know if it needs charging, but we'll see if it has battery.
All right, so that's booting up.
And we'll take a look inside the box and see what we have in here.
Okay, X Forge.
So, little pin for your SIM card.
So, inside here.
All right, so you get the thank you card.
We get a a protector.
It's a tempered glass. Yeah, tempered glass screen protector.
With some wipes.
And a case.
Okay.
So, it comes with the case and everything. I mean, that's not not so bad.
See what else we got in here.
Got a charger. I don't know how many watts this is.
See if I can see it on the back.
3 amps, 8 volts.
So, it's not going to be charging the fastest, but there it is.
And USB-C cable.
Right?
Yeah, USB-C.
There we go.
All right. Yeah, I cut my finger, guys.
I went wild with the bagels.
Got a little too excited. Okay. I don't think the interface is going to be anything too crazy. Let's skip that.
I'll connect it to my Wi-Fi.
All right.
Connects to the Wi-Fi. Let's see it go.
So, my plan right now, if you're wondering what I'm doing, is I'm just going to boot it up and see what the interface of this phone looks like. Uh cuz I have no clue what to expect. It already looks like a typical Android phone. I just don't know if they have any special features or anything that separates it apart from other phones that are out there. So, we're going to let that boot for a second. I'm guessing it's not going to take too long, but if it gets annoying, let me know and then I'll just pull it off.
I'm not going to copy anything.
Okay.
All right, so it wants email. Can I skip this? I can skip it. Perfect.
Skip that.
I'll set a PIN. This is a secret.
Let me do this away from you.
Okay.
Location services. I don't like doing any of this stuff. I don't know about you guys, but I usually turn everything off.
Update, sure. Let's accept that.
Okay, so additional apps that it's trying to preload.
Looks like they're going to try to do Phantom, MetaMask. I'm not a fan of MetaMask.
Telegram, X, Discord. These are not bad.
Sure, let them all go.
All right.
Whoops.
Sorry about that. Here we are.
So, this is the home screen and we do have some daps or apps or whatever you want to call them.
So we got some apps that are preloaded in here.
I have no idea what any of them do.
Uh let's just quickly go through some of them.
Uh let's go Xforge. So these are installing right now. Uh these are the ones that it uh prompted me uh during the setup. So got Phantom, MetaMask, Telegram. We got X, we have Discord, and ChatGPT.
Zardian, what is this?
Okay, so I guess this is my my node.
Which wants an update. Okay, so looks like you have to purchase your node.
I thought when you get the phone you get a node right away, but you don't.
It looks like I have to purchase one.
Let's see how much a node is.
See if it tells us.
So they have over 12,000 nodes.
Doesn't want to tell me the price. Just wants to connect a wallet.
Which I don't have.
No. Okay. I'll have to go to the website after. We'll take a look at that and see how much it is. So that is the node app.
Her her node.
Herond? What is Herond?
Keep me. No.
So maybe this is a browser.
Yes.
This is a browser.
Okay, so it comes with its own I don't know if this is a unique browser to the phone itself or if this I've never heard of this brand before, but it comes with its own browser. Uh looks like there's also built-in wallet in here. I'm going to assume this is all ethereum based or designed for the ethereum network.
And then we get Xtrade over here.
And I'm wondering if this is a DEX.
Let's see.
I don't know if you guys know about Xtrade.
Got to have an account.
Decentralized trading terminal.
Okay.
Cool.
Anything else that's interesting in here? If there's any features you want me to check out, let me know in the chat.
Um let's take a look at the apps. These yeah, we looked at all the apps. Nothing else fancy. Let's check out and look at the camera.
Camera is a camera.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I wouldn't say it's that impressive, but it is a camera.
I would actually have to take it outside, take some pictures, and see how it goes. Looks like the other apps are being installed right now. We'll just give it one more minute. I'm not too sure if anything else is going to get installed, then we'll take a look at that.
How much does a node cost? That's a good question. I'm going to see if I can find out how much a Zilliqa node cost.
>> Okay, so the node cost apparently is $300, but it's supposed to come with the phone.
So, that's a little bit confusing for me.
Yeah, okay.
Valencia is saying the same thing in the chat. Uh it looks like the node is supposed to come with the phone. I didn't get a key.
So, let me just take a look at it one more time.
And we'll go in here.
My guess right now is that I have to put the wallet in here with my the wallet that's associated with my pre-order. I'm assuming that's how it's going to work. Uh there is supposed to be a node that comes with the phone.
So, I'll have to figure that out.
Because when you try to buy a key, you have to go through the whole process, and I believe a key is $299.
But, I'll I'll confirm that later on.
Yeah.
Uh like when we're talking about Let me start the note. Uh when we are talking about the speed of the phone and how it runs and maneuvers and everything else.
I mean, it's somewhat responsive. Uh I would compare this to like a mid-range phone so far, at first glance.
Nothing is blowing my mind.
Uh the unique feature right now is that a node can run from the phone and it could earn for you right away. So, I'll take a look at this and uh hopefully I'll get more information on how this node operates because I'm supposed to get a key with the purchase of the phone. I don't think there's anything inside this box unless it's on that sticker.
No.
I don't see anything over there.
Okay, so RT Tendall saying the same thing. Uh it's supposed to be the wallet in which you placed your order with.
He did not receive his node, either.
I don't know if um they've gone main net yet and maybe that's the reason why Well, you should still be able to run a node even in test net.
I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt.
>> [laughter] >> Um if anything, I mean, there's a camera on it. So, I don't know.
I don't think it'll be a paperweight.
I'll find a purpose for this. I I'll run something on it. Maybe grass or I don't know, something else.
Okay, so you're saying they lied about it. That's interesting.
It's going to run Fry networks, which isn't earning anything, but okay. All right. You can run a Fry networks node on the phone.
Really?
No rewards. Nothing wrong with that though.
It's large.
Yeah.
Don't know about that.
Trying to see if I can find more information on this, but it looks like it's limited. So, uh right now I'm not too impressed with what's happening with this project.
Uh the information definitely seems to be very limited.
So, that sucks.
All right, so some things to highlight.
Um One thing to highlight when I look at comparisons is the price point. So, if you're looking for a crypto related phone that is mid-range. If you compare this to a secure phone, uh you're going to come up less. So, this is $299 versus about $500 to the secure phone. I don't know uh if it's going to give you the same value. There is no airdrops that I'm aware of. So, I guess uh we'll have to see what that's about.
Uh one of the major backers on this is Razer. And Razer's big in the gaming space, and this is one of the platforms that they're trying to be um developing uh and applying new uh applications on or dabs on and that's going to be in the deepest space in the gaming space. So, that's where their focus is. It's not really like the Seeker phone. This is a completely different angle that they're working with.
Another pro would be 10% of the entire kick supply is going to be for node holders and phone holders.
I don't know if that's a plus or a minus.
The node has to be operational guys. If it the node's not operational, you're not getting anything. So, it doesn't matter what the percentage is.
Um, there is the ability to run the node on a desktop as well.
I got to take a look at that. I haven't seen the software for it. Again, I'd like a license and actually try that out. I haven't I don't have a license right now.
Uh, here's something that's not too pleasing to hear. So, the project and they've had phones out for a little over a year, maybe 2 years now.
They've only sold 3,000 units. At least that's what some of the numbers are I'm seeing right now is only 3,000 are sold.
When you compare it to a Seeker phone, put my Seeker phone right next to it.
When you put it next to a Seeker phone, so 3,000 units versus over 100,000, 150,000 units.
There is more people behind the Seeker phone right now.
So, sustainability and a viable future is already leading towards this one. Uh, but that's not to say this can't do anything.
Um, pros and cons, right guys?
Right now Seeker is definitely stronger.
This is a 4G phone. This is a 5G phone.
That's another con. Doesn't support for 5G and that's only if speed matters to you. Speed doesn't matter to you, then 4G is going to be more than enough.
Uh, CCM thanks for coming on. Appreciate you.
We'll talk later.
HD display, not full HD, just HD.
I don't even know what that means. I don't game a lot, so for me a full HD screen is a doesn't really matter. Uh mid-range CPUs, so the specs don't really line up when it comes to that. Uh mid-range CPUs phones are usually a little bit higher in the price point, so $299 I guess is a deal.
The blockchain itself, the frequency with rewards and how everything is operating is still unknown. Earnings is unknown.
Uh these are all cons that I'm talking about right now. And the figures, when I was trying to pull up figures for the kick supply it was inconsistent. So I was getting it from multiple sources and they weren't matching up. So it sounds like X Forge is still in development. It sounds like this is still in beta.
Uh and it's not ready for main yet. So it's not ready for main yet. And how long will it take before it gets into main net? I have no idea.
Um this is all at first glance and this is the way I'm seeing it right now.
Okay.
So just switching my phones.
We'll pop this one out.
And uh what I'll do now is I'll take a look at some daps. If there's any new daps that you guys are using, let me know in the comments because I'm interested.
Uh there is almost a thousand daps in the Secret Daps Store right now, but they're definitely not all gems.
Some of them are just okay and some of them are whatever you want to say.
I'm going to pull up my phone here.
And we'll go over a couple.
And uh we'll wrap up the stream after that.
So, what do you guys think of uh the X Forge phone? Yay or nay?
Am I the only one that's going to own one of these?
Okay.
All right. So, the the first app that I'll take a quick look at right now and um RT Tindale, Crypto King, thank you for shouting out and uh telling me about this one. So, Chain Shorts is an app in the Secret Store where you can earn the Secret Token, SKR Token, by reading articles.
Um so, they have a feed over here. When you install the app, you connect your wallet, you do all that fancy stuff.
Um once you're in there's a list of different uh articles and different categories. You can see they're separated over here by categories up here at the top. Looks like I'm offline right now. Wonderful.
Let's refresh it.
Okay. And if you read 15 articles uh you will get a goal or and you'll earn 1.5 Secret. And this can be done every day. It resets at 8:00 at night.
Uh there's a little fancy mine button over here uh where you can mine the token itself and that gives you a daily reward.
Checking in daily is that is an advantage for this one uh and using it uh frequently is an advantage for this one as well.
Uh I've only used it uh on and off for the last couple days. So, I haven't tried all the features. There's lucky draws where you buy into a draw pool and then you can win the rewards. Like the one I'm looking at right now is the daily one.
The prize pool is 1,125 SKR, but to enter the draw you have to spend 100 SKR.
They're saying over here in green that 80% comes back if you don't win. I mean, it's not too bad.
You lose a couple bucks if uh you're wrong, but not a bad deal.
And then we have the weekly, which is going to be 2,540.
This one's going to cost you 250 SKR, SKR.
Oh, I said a couple bucks. It's actually probably just like a dime or two. Not very much. And then we have the monthly draw, which is right now the prize pool is 4,100 SKR. Uh to enter, it'd cost you 500 SKR.
And everything's on chain, so you can see down here at the bottom that they post all the lottery winnings.
Uh my streak is one day. I've been skipping a few days, but uh the more you >> [clears throat and cough] >> complete your streaks, your multiplier increases, and that means you're going to earn more. So, this is just another dapp where you can earn something while you're using them uh instead of you paying for something, you're actually getting something in return. Uh and that's why I thought it was worth mentioning.
Let's see if I have another one.
Okay.
Trampoline. That's what I wanted to talk about.
We'll get there in just a second.
I'm going to go over my trampoline numbers with you guys.
Because I talked about that on the last one, but while we're looking at apps, there's another one called Mean book. Where was I?
Does your phone look like mine with apps all over the place?
Kind of crazy. Mean book.
Why can't I see it?
There it is.
It's going to require an update.
Wonderful.
Mean book is like Instagram on uh your secret phone.
Of course it wants to do an update right now when I want to show it to you, but uh it's small. Okay.
Here it is. Really nice layout.
Very similar to Instagram.
So you have a bunch of feeds at the top.
You have following, trending, videos, you have a leaderboard, and then you can scroll through it like you would any other social media app. Very refined, very clean, and it's also very smooth to use.
So I thought it was pretty interesting.
They have trip options. So if you really like something in here, you can tip the creator. You can see the tip button down here at the bottom, and you can send them a little something. Maybe if you get something positive out of them, you can reward them for that experience.
So that is Mean book.
And there is one other game that I tried out, which is not bad. I had a little bit of fun with this one. This one's called Screw Master. I Wow.
You're basically trying to unscrew panels.
And you have some spots to put these screws. And as you unscrew it, it falls down.
I mean, there you go. You kind of get the idea of it. Uh it was kind of a fun game. I played around with it for a little bit.
Uh but let's talk about Trampoline.
Get this out of here. And I just want to quickly give you my results so far because I was pretty hyped up on it uh last week.
And then I was going to pull out because my winnings weren't doing too well. And then I win.
And then my mood changed.
Where is it?
There it is.
Okay. So, this is just a quick update on what's happening right now with Trampoline.
Uh so, for me it's worked out. Uh when I'm talking to people online, they're not getting the same results as I am. And that's sort of kind of self-explanatory because this is a lottery style redistribution.
Um I have my wallet and also have my wife's wallet. On her wallet, I've staked 10 uh SOL on it. I've gotten zero return.
And that's been staked for almost the same amount period of time, which is going to be about 3 weeks.
The other one, which is going to be my seeker phone, right with me, my phone, I have one sole staked. It's been staked for about 3 weeks and I've earned 0.41, which is extraordinary. Uh because if I were to do traditional methods, I would only get 8% uh staking it on Sanctum or something else that's a high-performing uh validator, and my earnings after a year would be 0.08.
Uh which isn't which is not bad, but overall, this one's crushing it. So, one sole is being staked on Trampoline right now, and because I've already earned more than I would in a year, I'm just going to leave that one sole. The other uh phone that I have with the 10 sole staked, if it doesn't do anything in the first month, I'm more than likely just going to pull it off. And uh that's my results right now for Trampoline. And I don't really know if you're getting the same experience or not. I was definitely excited about it, but the main thing about this one is the more people that come online and the more people that uh contribute towards the pool, the the smaller your chances are of winning. And that's just the way lotteries work, right? So, thought I would give that information to you and see what you thought about it.
But that is it. That's all I have today for today's stream.
Um I don't think there was any new Wait for my analysis. I'll I'll keep you posted with the phone and I'll let you know how it goes.
And uh I'll give you an honest review.
I'll just tell you if it's worth investing into or not. Um but uh yeah.
So, that was the X Forge phone.
And those are the dapps so far that I've installed. Um if you know any other dapps that you want me to try out and talk about, uh you can DM me on uh X or you can post in this video in the comments below uh after I go broadcast.
I always review my uh comments and try to reply to everybody as quickly as possible.
Uh so, I hope you found this uh this video information uh useful. If you did, please smash that like button.
Thank you everybody for joining me and I'll see you next week. I'll be creating a recap of this stream and I'll have it up in about a day. So you don't have to listen to the whole hour of me rambling and make it nice and condensed. All right. Thank you. Don't forget to hit the smash the the like button on the way out. Have a good one guys. Take care.
