All Good Things Must EndAdded:
Hey y'all, it's your buddy Chuck again and we're back at it on Monday, May the 4th. May the 4th be with you.
And we uh just accepted our first order.
We've gotten one offer this morning, declined it. It was a Dollar General shopping order and now we've got it back as a stack which makes it more attractive.
So, I think we're shopping for nine items at Dollar General and five at Harvey Supermarket delivered to two different customers.
I didn't really notice the mileage, but uh I don't know, the items look pretty easy.
I was able to skim over the items really quickly and then ex take a screenshot and accept the order with about 4 seconds left on the timer, I think.
Anyway, here we go. Shopping.
I've got kind of a bad feeling about today as far as restaurants go. It's a Monday.
I don't know. I was thinking I might the only way I can uh it might be that the only way I make money today is with shopping orders.
That's what I was trying to say.
Oh, is it dark chocolate cup? Yeah, it sure is.
Yay.
Ah, that's not going to be right.
Come on.
Cool.
All right, y'all. The Dollar General shopping order was pretty easy.
We got hung up on one thing. I can't remember what it was, but after that it was smooth sailing.
All right, here we are at Harvey's. I got ice cream back here. I've got it in that nice insulated bag, the upright bag, but I don't know why they made me shop for ice cream and then go do another shopping order. But here we go.
Heat. Heat.
That is it.
$3.99 should be it and I'm out of here.
All right, y'all. We got both shopping orders done. It was really pretty easy.
The Harvey's was especially easy. Just five items.
Two were in produce and three were in dairy.
Easy as pie.
>> Main street.
>> So, we're uh delivering to a house on Henry Street, which my navigation will call street.
>> Continue on Main Street.
>> And um then I don't know where the second delivery is, but I I got a feeling it's Hobo's restaurant.
That's where I think I'm going just based on what she bought.
>> 346 on street is on the left.
Hey, kitty cat. All right, Jessica, thanks for your business. Have a terrific day.
All right, y'all. We got the first shopping order dropped off. It was very easy. It was a little over a mile from Harvey's to the first customer. And then once I dropped that off, it was like 2.3 miles from the first customer to the second customer. And I think we are delivering to Hobos restaurant.
I could just tell by the things she bought. organic iceberg lettuce, the uh on the vine tomatoes, and she bought four lbs of shredded cheddar and 3 lb of Swiss.
So, you know, she's kind of buying in bulk.
By the way, I assume that the lady that owns Hobos's restaurant, I'm sure she gets most of her food from Cisco or, you know, one of the food services, US Foods or Cheney Brothers or whatever.
I think she just gets some supplemental stuff at Harvey's when she runs low on things, maybe.
Give us right here on this purse table, baby.
>> Right here.
>> Right here.
>> Okay. Thank you.
>> Thank you.
>> Actually, now I'm picking up an order.
>> Oh, well, perfect.
>> Now, just happened.
>> Hey, that's always good thing.
>> Yeah, might as well while while I'm here. Southwest.
>> That was perfect timing right there.
>> Sure was. That was awesome. I almost needed you to come pull me up out of that booth.
>> I would have done.
>> Y'all have a wonderful day.
>> You too. I might see you later.
>> Hope so.
All right, y'all. We got the Harvey shopping order dropped off at Hobos.
And you know, a week or two ago, the last time I delivered groceries to Hobos, it was early in the morning and I got there and made the delivery and there was a Door Dash order. They thought I was there to pick up a Door Dash order. There was a Door Dash order there ready to be picked up.
And I was like, why didn't Door Dash give me this order?
And a few minutes later, a dude walked in and picked up the order. I'm like, "Dor Dash, you knew I was going to Hobos.
>> Why not give me the order while I'm there?"
>> Well, this time they did. I've got an order in my car. They sent it to me as soon as I marked this one complete.
So, it's only paying like $5.60, but good grief, y'all. I was in hobos and it's going back down toward folks.
>> We're in Homeland right now.
>> All right. Here we go. Drop this off and make $5.60.
All right, Matt. Appreciate your business. Have a wonderful day.
>> All right, y'all. We just got a little $6 threemile McDonald's. $2 a month.
Pretty good deal. Can't complain.
Let's go to Mickey D's. We're going to be delivering up the homeland.
>> I ain't got nothing to do.
>> Thank you.
I I ain't got nothing to do with it.
>> All right, y'all. We got our Mickey De's picked up.
Felt like about seven or eight minutes.
And the reason it took so long is because we were waiting on French fries to cook.
How does McDonald's run out of French fries?
>> Hey y'all, did somebody order McDonald's?
>> Oh, yes, sir.
>> There you go. You're welcome. Same to you. Thank you.
>> Hey, that uh $6 threemile McDonald's order turned into $7.
Kardashian was hiding a dollar from it.
Anyway, now we just accepted a almost $6 $5.80 Dairy Queen order going one mile.
All right, let's go to DQ.
>> Thank you, ma'am.
>> You're welcome. You have a good one for you.
>> All right, y'all. Got our Dairy Queen picked up.
It took a while. They had not started making any of the four blizzards when I walked in.
So, they had to make four blizzards while I waited.
Um, and anyway, it's just a few ten of a mile.
We're just going right up the road.
I think I'm just staying on Third Street. Yeah, that's what I thought. I think I might be going to the uh government housing projects. That's what I suspect.
Hey, Gilletta, appreciate your business.
Have a terrific day.
All right, y'all. We just accepted another little order. It's like $5.70, I think, going two miles. I think what I'm getting right now are the after school orders. Hungry teenagers get home, start ordering food.
They're not big tippers.
All right, y'all. We got our pizza after about a 5m minute wait. Wasn't too bad.
Met a nice dasher while I was in there.
She said she just started recently.
>> She was very nice. It was fun talking to her.
All right. Well, where am I going?
>> Oh, right here maybe.
Yep.
Hey there. I wasn't sure which door, so I I knocked on both of them.
>> That's fine. Thank you.
>> All right. You have a great day.
>> You, too. All right, y'all. I'm going to do it again.
I haven't looked at the items yet. This is a Walgreens shopping order.
>> Um imagining this is probably for me.
It's two items going 16 miles, paying $24.
I want the $24.
I'm going to do it. It's a pleasant little drive. I got plenty of gas, right? Yeah. 250 miles I can drive. All right. All right, I'm going to do it.
I'm going up to White Oak to deliver probably a bottle of wine and something else or maybe just a couple of bottles of wine. Let's see. Yeah, maybe it is.
Heck yeah.
>> Oh, wow. Thanks, y'all.
>> Oh, come on. Be the right thing. Heck yeah.
Thank you. Thank you.
>> Eagle eye.
>> Just riding down a country road with my white claw by my side.
Think I'll write a song about it.
>> We're almost there. This was such an easy little drive.
>> Hello again, Miss Mill. How are you? I'm >> good. How are you?
>> Good.
>> All right. I hope you have a wonderful day.
>> Thank you, sir. You're welcome.
>> All right, y'all. As soon as we got back to the zone, we got an order. And it's great cuz I'm tired. We've got $66 made.
And uh this is a Pizza Hut order.
What was it paying? $6 and change. I think $6.85 or something. But I'm delivering to a neighbor of mine, so I'm basically just driving home. This is This is free money, basically.
We'll just take this to our neighbor and then we'll be right there at the house.
Pretty cool.
All right, y'all. We got our pizza picked up. I accidentally drove off with a camera stuck to the side of the car.
>> It was still there.
Thank goodness.
How you doing?
>> Good. How are you >> doing? Good. Hey, puppy. Hey, puppy dog.
>> Nice as can be.
>> Yeah. Seems sweet. You're welcome. Y'all have a great day.
>> You too. Hey, >> are you dashing?
>> Are you uh the guy that dashes across uh Dash Across America?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah, I saw you at Harvey's, remember?
>> Oh, that's right. Yeah, you were working there.
>> Yeah, that's right. Hey, cool. That's pretty neat.
>> Hey, how you been?
>> I've been good. Did you ever see yourself on YouTube?
>> I have not, actually. Uh >> no, I wouldn't know which episode it was now. It's been a little while.
>> What is it called again?
>> Dashing Across America. dashing across America.
>> I'll look it up.
>> All right, y'all. Have a good day.
>> You, too.
>> All right, y'all. I think that does it for Monday, May the 4th.
The fourth was with me sort of. Um, right there at the end, I got that Uber Eats order, declined it like I always do, and I never saw it again. I guess there's somebody else out with Uber turned on. But anyway, hey, it was a good day, especially for a Monday. We made $73. I'll take that. I'll take that any Monday.
It was just fun. But that's it, y'all.
Thanks for riding along with me. Thanks for watching, liking, sharing, commenting, and subscribing. I appreciate it, y'all. Stay safe out there. We'll see you next time.
Hey y'all. We've got bonus footage.
I was just sitting at home minding my own business and Uber sent me this offer and I don't know, there's weird stuff going on with Uber.
You know, they sent me that order earlier today and I declined it without even really looking at it. I I really I couldn't have accepted it because I was walking into Pizza Hut to pick up a Door Dash order and then I had to deliver it 5 miles, four 4 and 1/2 miles the opposite direction of the Uber Eats order. I So I never would have made it in time. They would have taken it away from me anyway. So I declined it hoping I'd see it again, trying to buy myself a little more time and I never saw it again.
>> Street. I didn't really pay attention to what the offer was. It was a great offer. I thought they were offering me 15 bucks to drive way down the Hillyard, you know, like 12, 13, 14 miles. No, it was $15 for five miles. They were offered me $3 a mile >> right off the bat without me declining some other lower order first.
Well, they've just kind of done the same thing. I mean, this isn't quite as good, but they just offered me $31 to deliver 17 miles from my house to Burger King to Hillyard, Florida.
>> Turn right on second.
>> But still, it's almost $2 a mile.
So, instead of declining it like I've become used to for the last two or three years, I just accepted it. street zone.
>> I wanted the $31 and I was afraid the way things have been going lately that if I declined it, I would never see the order again.
>> I don't think they were.
>> Thank you, sir.
>> I wait.
>> Excuse me. Hey, >> is there I need a number. Um, >> I told you guys in the drive.
>> Thank you.
>> You put the market in the drive. You wanted to touch not in the drivethru.
>> That's a terrible idea.
>> He threw the tree at someone.
>> All right, y'all. We got our Mickey D's picked up pretty quickly.
And the big goofy dude that works at McDonald's said that he just signed up for Uber Eats, he made $40 this weekend.
I made zero this weekend on Uber Eats.
Well, that's not true. I made it a little bit in Kingsland on Uber Eats, but I made zero. And folks, >> turn on >> y'all. My gravy train coming to an end.
It's been a nice ride while it lasted.
Hey, there. Are you Dixie?
>> I am.
>> All right, I found you.
Think I need a fourdigit pin number.
>> Uh, 47. No. 7467.
>> 74. Whoops.
>> That's it.
All right, y'all. Have a wonderful evening. You're welcome.
>> You too.
>> All right, y'all. We got our Mickey De's dropped off. It was a nice little drive down there. Piece of cake.
base pay was $22. So, we'll be waiting for a $9 tip to come in.
And uh that's it. $104. I'm happy.
Thanks for watching, y'all.
