[00:00:00]If you're taking the SAT, you have to know this shortcut. If 4x + 3y is 26 and that equation, what is x? Well, easy. x, well, there's one here and one here. Do we just isolate x? Maybe start with the first equation. 4x + 3y = 26. [music] Subtract the 3y, so 4x = 26 - 3y. Then divide by 4.
