[00:00:14]Now, Jamaica recently, so Jamaica has been searching for oil in the Wal Walton Marant Basin, Walton Marant Basin, and all the tests so far have come back positive for oil. So, the next step now is to drill for oil. Now, the company that holds the license, United Oil and Gas, they don't have the financial resources to drill for the oil in Jamaica. So they are looking to partner with a company to do the drilling and basically bringing up the oil and selling it.

[00:00:55]So because of the positive test results, a lot of companies are now interested in the in Jamaica and Chevron is the second largest oil company in the US and one of the largest oil companies in the world and they have now expressed an interest in drilling for oil in Jamaica.

[00:02:33]The company re reported signs of an active petroleum system increasing speculation that Jamaica could possess commercially viable oil reserves.

[00:02:45]Because of these developments, several major international energy companies have reportedly been monitoring Jamaica's progress closely. Chevron is considered one of the most likely future partners because the company specializes in deep water offshore exploration.
