SOLANA FINALLY BROKE OUT!🔥 (Solana Price Prediction 2026)

[00:00:03]Good morning, everybody. Welcome back to some Linux crypto. Hope you're all doing great. Hope you're having a great start of the weekend so far. If you're new to the channel, then welcome. In this video, we're going to do a full update on Solana. A very much needed update, and finally, we can actually be quite optimistic about Solana.

[00:00:21]Um last video, I wasn't pessimistic, but we hadn't broken out yet, and I thought it was most likely we'd pull back a bit, which we did, by the way, on on Wednesday, and we pulled back a bit, but we were able to hold support very, very well. And then the momentum, of course, especially yesterday evening, um really continued, especially also for Solana. The Solana ecosystem, including SOL, of course, is doing quite well. Uh I'll show you some examples out of that.

[00:00:46]Um it's the first time in a while since we've seen that, but that does mean that there's more potential behind it, right?

[00:00:51]I mean, if you if you, for example, to to remove us from Solana, if you see Ethereum rallying, but you also see coins like Lido DAO, like AVAX, DeFi coins in general rallying, you know there's more to it than just a move into the upside, and I think this move right here for Solana looks quite good, right? Things can change very quickly in crypto, of course, but it looks quite good for now.

[00:01:14]So, we'll talk about that.

[00:01:16]First of all, fundamentally, at the moment, there's not much that we can talk about with Solana.

[00:01:23]Um last week, the ETF flows were quite good, right? I mean, if you if you count these up together, you you get like, I think around $40 maybe a little bit more little little bit less.

[00:01:32]And that's quite significant, like especially if you take the the week before that, we barely had any flows, and $40 I mean, it's it's not a huge amount of money, but if you go to Solana, the market cap doesn't matter, order book depth and liquidity matters, and you can see that $40 if you look at the plus two minus two depth in the order books actually is quite significant, right? So, so maybe that's that's not going to affect the price immediately, but it does affect the the supply demands mechanics a little bit.

[00:02:01]And that's also partially why we have seen the breakout. Right? I mean, Solana was consolidating in these past I should extend this a little bit.

[00:02:09]Um in these past in in this past month, we were consolidating between $90 and uh $82. And now you can see we've been able to break above that.

[00:02:18]And then the big question becomes, okay, is this a real breakout? Do we have reasons to believe that this is a real breakout? And there, the ecosystem comes in. Right? I mean, if you look at something like Jupiter, you cannot see that at the moment, but if you look if you look up Jupiter, um that has been incredibly strong. That is Solana ecosystem. If you look at pump.fun, I posted about that on X this morning. I think that has potential.

[00:02:41]That's Solana ecosystem.

[00:02:42]We cannot, unfortunately, see it too much in the real data. That's also why I would be slightly, you know, careful with it. Like if you look at the DEX trading volumes, they're still down significantly. Right?

[00:02:55]So so if you like the the the ecosystem is rallying. I think the ecosystem to a certain extent was undervalued. But is there is is it enough to start a long-term uptrend? I think no. Is it enough to break out? I think yes.

[00:03:09]Fundamentals in terms of the ETF flows confirm that. Order flow confirms that as well. You can see the open interest, the leverage is [snorts] increasing rapidly, but the funding rates actually, just a couple of hours ago, were still negative. Right?

[00:03:21]So that means that either a lot of these a lot of this leverage coming in is also short coming in, which is good, right?

[00:03:26]Because then we have fuel to rally into the upside and to liquidate those shorts, or it means that there's more spots proportionally coming in. So that we do have futures coming in, but more spots, which still, you know, make sure that the spot price is higher than the futures price, which then translates into negative funding rates.

[00:03:43]Both are bullish, right? And then we have this strong break with a with a with a gap right here to the downside above our critical level at $90. I think the short term can be very volatile. Like we we've left some major gaps here into the downside. Be aware of that, right? We can actually spike down all the way into 88 again. Um but but regardless of whether we do that or not, I do think it's a real breakout. And if it's a real breakout for the reasons I've given you, of course. And if it's a real breakout, the next real price target is 99.4.
