[00:00:00]We are incredibly lucky that the blue whales have already started to arrive early this season. So, if you are headed out whale watching tomorrow, your hour-by-hour, it will be cool. It will also be cloudy in the morning and a bit breezy. So, certainly bring your jacket, of course, when you're out on the water, it's always a lot cooler. And this early season viewing is due to an abundance of krill offshore. So, really great to see that and if you go out there, share your photos with us. [00:00:31]All right, looking towards Carlsbad right now, day at the beach, any day is a great day at the beach, isn't it? And it is starting to become more cloudy, but the clouds are fairly thin. They're streaming in from the south of us. So, still sunshine up farther to the north, but those clouds are starting to build farther to the south of us. Should light need lead to a nice sunset this evening. We are in the 60s and 70s from the coast all the way to our mountains. 70 in Poway, Ramona, Warner Springs, Hemet, and in Campo. 90s in our desert communities. All right, so as we head into tonight, the clouds will continue to thicken up. We'll see the marine layer early tomorrow morning and maybe some patchy sprinkles, some patchy drizzle possible. Little to no impact, but it will keep our temperatures more mild, not as cold as it was last night.

[00:01:15]We're going to be in the 60s most of the night along our coast, only dipping down to the mid-upper 50s by tomorrow morning. Even inland neighborhoods, a lot of us are going to be in the 60s through about 9:00 p.m., waking up in the low to mid-50s by tomorrow morning, also a bit warmer than it was this morning. Temperatures tomorrow afternoon, mid-upper 60s along our coastline, so not a big change there. A little cooler for our inland neighborhoods, mostly in the low 70s.

[00:01:38]Though La Mesa right around 69 degrees, low to mid-60s in our mountain communities, and upper 80s to low 90s in the desert. So, also only a minor drop in temperatures tomorrow for our mountains and deserts. And it will be a bit breezy in our mountain and desert communities. I'll show you that in just a second. So, this is the storm system that I'm tracking. It's going to be passing by to the south of us. Doesn't have a lot of moisture with it, but there is a slight chance that we might be able to squeeze out some mist or some drizzle, maybe a stray shower. Best chance is going to be during the morning hours. So, this is 11:30 in the morning, a lot of clouds streaming across the county, but sunshine breaking through as well. And [snorts] then that chance for a little bit of rain. Accumulations, if you get any, a trace to a few hundredths. Really not expecting much.

[00:02:20]And then by later in the afternoon, 4:30, sunshine returns. All right, let's talk about the wind. It's really going to target the mountains and the deserts.

[00:02:28]Westerly winds 20 to 40 mph as we head into tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow evening. For the coast and the valleys, winds will generally be less than 20 mph, but it could be breezy at times.

[00:02:38]Then we're in store for a weekend warm-up. Not a huge change along our coast, but we will see more 70s this weekend and then cooling off next week with another slight chance for some light showers Monday into Tuesday. For the inland neighborhoods, temperatures are going to be trending in the 70s for most of the next week, but we could see some 80s for some of the warmer spots on Saturday, cooling to 69 on Tuesday.

[00:03:01]That's going to be the coolest day and then we're right back in the 70s by Wednesday. For the mountains, temperatures in the 60s tomorrow, warming into the 70s Friday and Saturday, at least for Julian. And then significantly cooler early next week.

[00:03:14]The 50s 50s back in the forecast and a slight chance for rain. Not expecting any rain in the deserts, but temperatures will be getting hotter, mid-90s Friday and Saturday, but much cooler next week.
