Check that your browser and internet connection are compatible with their system and then do a quick automated English test. You'll need to wait to be contacted by one of their tutor recruitment team members and they will send you the links to their self-guided training materials. The next step is to complete the training and a demo lesson.
You'll join their training session with a team member conducting a demo lesson to show that you have understood the training materials and after that point you can go ahead and set your availability on their tutor site and wait for students to start booking their lessons. So, all they require from you is to be at least 18 years of age or older, be proficient in English, have a headset and a webcam, a laptop or desktop, and high-speed internet, and that's pretty much it. Very beginnerfriendly, non-phone opportunity.
Now, it may not afford you a full-time income, but it is a great starter position for someone who's never worked remotely or even maybe for someone who's looking to supplement their income. If you're a retiree, or maybe a stay-at-home mom, a student, or just someone wanting to add some income, or maybe just work part-time, then this could be a great opportunity for you.
Now, as far as pay, you can expect to earn anywhere between $18 to $27 an hour as an Angu tutor. So, great opportunity, great beginnerfriendly nonphone opportunity. So, definitely check this one out, whether it's a full-time option for you or a supplemental income. So, check this one out if you're interested in this one. Up next is a nonphone opportunity if you are someone who has an accounting background. Now, this is going to be working as a bookkeeper for stellar bookkeepers. Now, they're looking for driven, detailoriented, peopleloving, processdriven problem solvers. And if you are someone who is looking for a virtual opportunity, they are 100% virtual and familyfriendly.
They do support the need for flexibility, finding harmony between work and your personal life. Their company is woman-owned and they value social justice, the planet Earth, and human rights for all people. So, this position is perfect for you if you enjoy bookkeeping, but you're not interested in finding your own clients and you're looking for a long-term work from home opportunity. There's definitely room for growth. They have doubled in size every year for the past four years. So, you'll be handling questionable transactions, managing bill pay, running payroll, filing sales and use taxes, and making changes. They do offer training as well that's fully provided. You will work with an account manager to ensure that projects are being completed efficiently and to make any changes necessary after quality control review. So, this is a part-time opportunity. It's a W2 opportunity working 20 to30 hours a week, 20 to $30 an hour based on your experience. You report to the account manager. Again, this is 100% virtual. No in-person meetings will be required. So pretty much you'll be reviewing, coding, fixing unclear transactions, making monthly adjustments, managing accounts payables, entering accounts receivables, running payroll, monthly reconciliations, supporting the client relationships, documenting processes, and communicating with team members. They do ask for you to have at least one year of bookkeeping experience. You'll need your own computer, mouse, headset, keyboard, secure and fast internet connection, and they do ask for a webcam. This can be internal, I guess, for meetings or maybe meetings with clients. They do want you to have a webcam as well. And bonuses, but literally, these are just nice to haves. They can definitely train the right person. if you do have three plus professional references, experience with sales and use tax and QuickBooks online pro- advisor certification. But again, they make make it known that these are literally just nice to haves. They will definitely still train you if you seem to be the right fit for the job. So, if you're interested in this part-time opportunity, working 20 to 30 hours a week with Stellar Bookkeepers, then go ahead and drop your application in for this one. This last opportunity is another customer service role, but it's a little bit different. You will be actually surveying customers that have had some type of service done. This is with Service 800. They're looking for customer service reps to work from home.
They only hire though out of Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, and Wisconsin. They want you to be someone who's personable, able to articulate well verbally as well as in written form because you will be conducting interviews with customers who have recently had a service experience.
So, previous customer service experience, computer knowledge, and telephone skills are mandatory for this role. Again, they only hire out of these states, so be sure that your state is listed before you apply. They do offer a competitive hourly wage for well-qualified applicants. They don't make mention of that wage here, but I'll definitely research that and make sure I have that information right here for you. Now, because they hire outside of the US, they do make mention that your salary would include state and federal taxes, Medicare deductions, access to 401k and health care, as well as highly flexible work environment. So, with that being said, they do have listed here that they also hire out of South America, Europe, and Asia. You must be willing to work at least 20 hours per week. If you are in the US, you will need to be available at least 20 to 40 hours a week, consecutive days Monday through Friday during standard business hours. You will need to have your own personal computer with virus protection, a quiet workspace, and hardwired high-speed internet. And after the application process, if you are qualified, you'll be required to pass a reading comprehension evaluation and a scripting session with a facilitator.
So, for languages other than English, candidates will be required to pass a native and English language evaluation, and you'll also be required to pass personal credit and criminal background checks as well to be eligible for employment. So, please do keep all of that in mind. But I did want to bring this opportunity to you because it's another option for some folks speaking with customers but don't want the traditional backtoback calls. These would be more or less surveys to the customers getting their feedback versus trying to upsell a product. So, take a look at all of that if you're interested in this opportunity with Service 800.
But in today's video, I did bring you at least three nonphone opportunities. I believe there were two phone opportunities. So, be sure to check all of these out if they align [music] with your skills, your background. There were some beginner friendly, no experience options as [music] well. But if you still didn't see something in this video that's interesting to you, make sure you check out my most [music] recent video and be sure that you are staying connected to the channel. Make sure that you have all notifications turned [music] on and that way you don't miss any of my videos or any new leads.
