[00:00:00]hi there students Rubicon okay Rubicon if you say that somebody has a Rubicon face they have a red face this is a rather old-fashioned literary word um but it's quite an interesting one I don't know maybe 7 7.5 in formality so he was a late middle-aged man with a Rubicon knows clearly from all of the Brandy that he drinks so Rubicon reddish pink blushing flushed um I watched all of the uh color drained from his Rubicon face when I told him he was going to be arrested so Rubicon red Ruddy a ruddy color um the he he has a Rubicon face just like uh he his mother he the rubican face of a child that has been out in the uh cold air okay so Rubicon this is this is uh talking about R red but really it's talking about somebody's somebody's face you could use it in uh in other ways the ruband uh sunset uh was was beautiful red sky at night uh Shepherd's Delight um so Rubicon but normally Rubicon they have a red face um he burned his hand and he watched it turn turn this ruband color so rubicund it's talking about red or pink but particularly uh skin um his face was sunburned and that gave it this Rubicon uh Hue this rubikant uh complexion uh he had a r bulbous rudic rubican nose that was uh filled with uh red veins okay so Rubicon um the kids in the class were Rubicon after running about dur in in the playground um a Rubicon face looked out of the window it's this is particularly talking about somebody's face a rudic Rubicon uh collection um as he got angrier his rubican face became brighter and brighter and brighter red so it's talking about somebody's compl complexion a Rubicon complexion R Ruddy cheek red red cheek um it's got this healthy Rosy color um I guess a rubikant Apple the Apple was greened with rud Rubicon uh bits at the side this so it's one of these reddish these green apples with this reddish thing as well so it doesn't have to be um somebody's cheeks or face but normally it it is um it's a little bit literally a a little bit oldfashioned um okay so where does ruband come from from Latin rubicundus ruber to be red to go red so yeah possessing a red complexion a a ruddy complexion the uh rub rubic leaves of autumn um looked very beautiful okay so yeah you could have a Rubicon Leaf as well um formality Rubicon yeah I'm going to give it a a seven 7.5 use it in something literary or something semi- formal or formal so Rubicon
