True Religion: What the Bible REALLY Says About Faith #shorts

[00:00:00]Many of us have considered ourselves religious.

[00:00:05]We try to say, "Oh, you know, my religion is Jesus Christ."

[00:00:09]But, you know how religion is described in the Bible? It's taking care of the orphans, the wid- the widows, meaning those who cannot take care of themselves.

[00:00:18]And keeping ourselves from being polluted of the world's systems.

[00:00:26]Meaning, we don't succumb to the systems of the earthly kingdoms. And yet, we think that religion is like wearing "I love Jesus" on my shirt, or, you know, putting a sticker on your car that says, "I love Jesus." Or identifying ourselves in a church. That is not what religion Religion is what the Bible says you take care of people who are helpless and hopeless.
