H&M try on haul. spring, summer fashion ideas.

[00:00:02]An H&M haul today. I'm going to be trying on all these lovely pieces and I'm just hoping I'm not going to get too hot. The weather has finally changed at last.

[00:00:15]If you see any clothes blowing about on me, it's because I've had to put an air cooler on. But anyway, let's get into this haul. I've to be honest, when I was choosing this haul I had a bit of a job and I never have a job choosing items from H&M. Never in summer time anyway.

[00:00:39]But I did this time and I was unsure about how these pieces were going to be when when they arrived. But I actually really like it all.

[00:00:52]I'm keeping I normally say I'm going to keep two pieces out of this haul. I never keep it all.

[00:00:59]It all gets the rest gets sent back.

[00:01:04]But I'm definitely keeping one or two pieces.

[00:01:18]But there's there's only two items on this rail that I'm unsure about. I like them but I'm unsure about them. The rest of them I absolutely love. H&M is so affordable, isn't it? And because I've got a membership, it flashed up 15% off for for members and I thought that's 15% off of a whole order. So I thought right, let's do an H&M haul. It's so worth having the member membership for H&M ladies. It really is. I've Uh you get a lot of discounts on there if you're a member and often free delivery as well. So, do have a look. You don't have to have the app on your phone. You can do it on the PC.

[00:02:22]Let's get into what I'm wearing today and I want to share this brand with you.

[00:02:28]I've had these items boxed up for some time and it's um a jewelry brand called Minimalist and they sent me some lovely pieces.

[00:02:38]I've got this necklace on.

[00:02:41]If you can see that on, it's absolutely beautiful. I was so pleased with the items.

[00:02:48]But I've not shared them yet. So, you'll see these worn a lot in the weekly vlog.

[00:02:53]I've got earrings as well, little pearl drop earrings. I was really pleased with everything. I want a ring.

But this Minimalist jewelry, it it's very reasonably priced. I've been wearing this necklace quite a lot. It's It's lovely. I've not had a problem with it. No tarnishing. The earrings don't itch my ears. So, yeah, I'm really pleased. They've got some beautiful pieces online. I'll leave the link down below. Let's get into what I'm wearing today. And this is actually an F&F top.

[00:03:44]Um any of you that watch the weekly vlogs, it's a two-piece set. It comes with a skirt as well. I'm not wearing the skirt today. I wanted to wear the H&M skirt that I bought last summer that I've worn a lot. I've actually worn this with jumpers as well. And I just thought, "Yeah, I'd wear that today." And it paired nice with this top. I was going to whack a pink T-shirt on, but I thought, "Oh, I haven't worn that top a lot yet." So, yeah, F&F, not bad. Not bad. If I can link it, I will.

[00:04:21]I'm not sure if I can link Tesco merchandise, but I will give it a good shot.

[00:04:28]Um the skirt again, as I said, it's from H&M. I don't think there's many left in this size. They launch them every year in this color. There is some when I looked, but not a lot. But they do this skirt in so many colors, and it's such an easy skirt to wear. It's comfortable.

[00:04:51]Um it's got an elasticated waist. What I will say is size up. I always size up in anything elasticated on the waist because it saves you from getting that muffin top. Size up on anything elastic, and you will see it will look so much better, so much better. Yeah, so I did size up in this. I think it's a 10 or a 12. I can't remember. I've got my new Marks & Spencer's 10 which sandals on today. There is a new accessories haul coming up, ladies. It might even be after this one. It could be another fashion one, or it could be an accessories one, but that's what we've got coming up, anyway. Yeah, so that is the look, and it's easy. It's easy. This top is very thin, and it's not too hot for today considering I think it's 26° here today. So, yeah, thank God I'm indoors. I've got the window shut.

[00:05:52]Hopefully, I'm not going to melt.

[00:05:55]Let's crack on with the haul.

[00:05:59]Right, the first item I want to share with you is these jeans and they're like um they're I don't know. Would you call them blush pink?

[00:06:10]I never buy jeans from H&M. I've had a few pairs and I've never been pleased with them. So, I ummed and ahhed, but I do have a really nice new shirt from Artichoke with pink in it. Um you're just about to find out, ladies, if you've watched the Artichoke film, what shirt I kept. Um well, I kept two shirts, actually, but you're going to see one of them today.

[00:06:37]And I spotted these jeans and I thought, "Oh, they'd be a perfect pairing." I didn't think they would fit great, but they really do. I I've got to say, these are the best jeans I've ever had from H&M. I think I'm going to be getting more of these. They're just perfect. Uh I've they're they're I think they're classed as cropped, but they're perfect for my 5'2" frame with sandals. I absolutely love them. I've just noticed there's no pockets on the back, which is a little bit unusual, isn't it? I mean, they're but they've obviously um cut back on the material to keep the price down. These are a UK size eight.

[00:07:25]They were not expensive. 20% recycled cotton.

[00:07:30]And I they're not going back. I absolutely love them. Let me know in the comments what you think of them on.

[00:07:38]Um I've got t-shirts that I can pair this with. I think even this top would pair nice with these jeans.

[00:07:46]Pinks, whites, I bought them particularly to go with the shirt, but I think I'm going to be wearing these a lot, and I'd love to get a pair of these in white if they've got them.

[00:07:59]I will be getting them.

[00:08:01]Uh next.

[00:08:03]Now, this isn't necessarily something that I would wear out and about. You can, it's just a little bit too much flesh showing for me, but I always buy these for lounging around the house in when it's hot. These are as cheap as chips, these dresses. I think they're some Not They're not even £20. £15, I can't remember how much they are. But, I thought, yeah, that's pretty. We're starting to do a lot of work in our garden at the moment. This is the sort of thing I'd wear in the garden. But, if I need to pop out to the shops, I will show you my white wrap shirt that I would pair over the top of that, or even a little denim jacket for a cooler day, then I would wear it. I would wear it with a shirt over, or even a t-shirt, but not on its own. If you've all, you know, if some of you are watching, and you've got lovely arms and the best figure ever, go right ahead. It's worth every penny, this dress for a hot day. But, I hate my arms. I'm always saying that, and that's why I would not wear it out on its own.

[00:09:22]Um but, I do like it with the shirt over the top.

[00:09:27]And on to the next item.

[00:09:30]Now, this is very similar to the top that I've got on, except for it's striped, and it's it's not a button-through. This one is a button-through. But I spotted this and I thought I really like that. I thought it was brown. It's actually black.

[00:09:48]I don't know why I thought it was brown.

[00:09:51]But it's a really lovely top. It's not see-through.

[00:09:57]But it is very lightweight and very loosely knitted. It would be great for a warm day like today. I've picked this up in a size small and I think I've got my black trousers out.

[00:10:11]I think for an everyday look, I've got my Marks & Spencer's trousers there.

[00:10:18]Or you could really go stylish and pair this with the cream cigarette trousers. I think that's going to look very nice as well. Yeah, it's a really nice little top.

[00:10:35]This is very on-trend, these boxy styles. It's really I'm not a lover of boxy stuff. If if I wear something boxy, I like to have something quite fitted on the bottom.

[00:10:48]Being short, um too much boxiness you'll you just look like a box without legs.

[00:10:55]So, yeah, but I do like it. I've not tried it on yet. So, you have to let me know what you think.

[00:11:12]Now, I've got a lot of summer dresses and trousers with little tops. I picked up this cardigan and I've had these cardigans before and I used to buy them in a medium uh from H&M. They do them in a multitude of colors and I think they're £14.99.

[00:11:33]I'm over the moon with this. I am keeping this. And what I decided to do this time was size down. I'm pretty sure this is Yeah, this is an extra small.

[00:11:47]And I thought, "Oh, I'll take a chance.

[00:11:49]I'm not sure if it's going to fit." Um I would normally to size down order to size small. Uh but I've ordered extra small and it is absolutely perfect. I'm over the moon with it. The quality, they've changed the quality of the knit on these cardigans. It's a lot denser and it's beautiful. Uh you've even got the webbing on the inside there. It's excellent quality for the price that you pay.

[00:12:22]Little tortoise shell buttons. And as soon as I saw this, I thought that it's it's just going to go with a lot in my in my wardrobe. Nice little vest top, throw this over the top if you're going out. Lovely for any evenings on holiday.

[00:12:39]It's I think it on the website it's just called ivory or cream, but it's got a slight yellow tone to it. I would call it buttermilk. I'm really, really pleased with this. Another item I'm definitely keeping.

[00:12:59]And this is a big contender, ladies.

[00:13:03]A denim shirt dress. I love the shade of the denim. I love everything about this dress. What size did I get this in?

[00:13:12]It's the priciest item I've got, I'm pretty sure. This is a size small.

[00:13:19]Popper buttons.

[00:13:21]Um It's a fit and flare.

[00:13:25]One disadvantage, no pockets on this dress, but it is a lovely dress. It's soft, but weighty.

[00:13:36]I like the squareness of the sleeves, as well.

[00:13:40]Um that was one of the problems I had, actually, trying to find dresses on the H&M website. Everything is puff sleeves.

[00:13:49]I just do not want to do any more oversized puff sleeves. I just don't want to do it. At 63, I really do look like a milkmaid. Um and yeah, so as soon as I spotted this, it was love. You've got a self-tie belt, but you can add your own. I might do that, but I'm sure I'll show you it with with the belt it comes with, two little breast pockets, and these are poppers.

[00:14:18]And it only goes just below halfway to get into, but it is a beautiful dress.

[00:14:28]And then I chose this little boho top, and it's really pretty on. I'm not sure if it's me. Let me know what you think.

[00:14:37]It's very wide. I've actually got this in a size small, and I'm not sure if it's a little bit big for me, but it is a very very pretty. I love this ruffle that gives a lovely movement when you're wearing it. The little ditsy print is very pretty.

[00:15:00]Tiny little frill on the neck.

[00:15:03]You've got buttons here. I would have to wear a camisole with this. It's very low.

[00:15:11]So, uh yeah, I won't wear it like that.

[00:15:14]I would have to wear something underneath it. You've got an elasticated cuff. I always just tuck them under so that it makes you look finished nicer.

[00:15:25]But, yeah, it's very, very pretty.

[00:15:28]Um I think this will go great with the cream cigarette trousers from H&M for a more dressy look.

[00:15:38]I think it will look great with jeans. I think this will look lovely with white shorts, actually, for that real boho vibe.

[00:15:46]Very, very pretty.

[00:15:53]And then I've got another dress.

[00:15:55]Uh I love the print.

[00:15:58]I'm still really into the chocolate brown, as you can tell.

[00:16:03]Um and they do this in They do this style of dress in lots of other different prints.

[00:16:10]So, if you like the style of this dress, take a look, because it comes in a multitude of colors and different materials. Um it's just a plain shirt dress. It's buttoned all the way from the top to the bottom. You've got a nice self-tie belt. If I was going to keep this dress, I would snip the bottom of that and put something firm inside it to make it look more elegant. Uh you've got an elasticated waist at the back.

[00:16:43]Yeah, overall, it's a really nice dress.

[00:16:46]I love the pattern. I'm just wondering if this is a little bit too long for me.

[00:16:56]for me, but yeah, it is nice.

[00:17:00]And that was a bargain find, as well.

[00:17:04]Another item that I know is not going back is this T-shirt. This is navy.

[00:17:12]I love a Breton striped T-shirt in a warm in our warmer weather.

[00:17:19]And this is my favorite neckline, the slashed straight across neckline. Not a V, not round.

[00:17:28]Slash neck, I love it.

[00:17:31]As soon as I saw it, I thought I'm having one of those and I wasn't disappointed. It's excellent quality.

[00:17:39]I've got Marks & Spencer's t-shirts like this and I would say this is a better quality.

[00:17:46]Um yeah, I'm really, really pleased with it. So, I would pair that with navy trousers, the cream H&M trousers.

[00:17:56]I've got all my H&M cigarette trousers on here to pair everything with.

[00:18:02]Um Now, I've hopped on about these cigarette trousers so many times. I think they're between £17 and £20 and a long time ago I I bought a stone pair in one of my hauls and I have a pair of Reiss stone cigarette trousers and that honestly, the composition of the materials, everything was identical except for I paid £17 for the H&M ones and £99 for the Reiss ones.

[00:18:36]And they've blown me away ever since. I literally have them in every color and I've bought a new color today and I'm disappointed. It's the first time I've ever been disappointed in a pair of cigarette trousers. I ordered these in an eight. Now, I have um quite a lot lot of size eight cigarette trousers.

[00:19:01]I think all these ones on here are size eight and they're just they're quite snug, but they fit better than a 10.

[00:19:11]These are a and they're very big on me.

[00:19:15]Um, I'm not happy with the quality of the material. I like them, but I'm I don't like them enough to keep them. Definitely [clears throat] not.

[00:19:26]Lovely for work. If you If you If If you're working in an office or retail or anywhere where you need something lightweight for a warmer day, these would be great because they are very lightweight. I'm just disappointed with the size and I hope that's not going to happen a lot with uh the H&M cigarette trousers because they are such a great buy. Lots of my followers have bought cigarette trousers and they've not got gone back either.

[00:20:01]They buy them in other colors because they're so great.

[00:20:06]Um, I think if you've got to keep trying different sizes to get the right fit, you need to have an H&M nearby. That would be fantastic. But we don't all have that, do we? Uh my H&M now is over an hour away, my nearest one.

[00:20:23]Um, yeah, so I hope they don't alter the sizes too much that people have to keep reordering and sending back.

[00:20:33]But do try them, ladies. Do try them.

[00:20:41]And then I've got a new crochet top.

[00:20:43]Now, I've got a beige crochet top and I wore it so much last year. Crochet is still a very big trend, isn't it? And because I hate my arms so much, they they generally come in short sleeves.

[00:20:59]When I spotted this, I thought that's perfect. Um, I'm not sure on the color for me. I think it's a little bit bright. I did order them to get paired with this and I don't think that works.

[00:21:15]Uh I do like it.

[00:21:19]I wished I'd have sized down. I've got this in a size small.

[00:21:25]Yes. I've got this in a size small and if I'd have got this in an extra small, I would have been a lot happier. So, size down, ladies, if you're interested in this top.

[00:21:37]But I've got a vest top as well on here and my plan was to wear this as a little jacket with the vest top underneath which I'll show you now.

[00:21:49]Uh I'm keeping this as well.

[00:21:52]Uh they're basics. This is from the H&M basic range and I think they're fantastic their basic range. I have got a lot of it. I've got dresses, t-shirt dresses. I'll put one up here if if they're available on the website. Their vest dresses are absolutely fantastic.

[00:22:14]Uh I normally wear my wrap shirt over the top of them and for the price that they are, it's a whole outfit, you know, for literally nothing. You can put any shirt over the top or if you're braver than me, wear it just as a vest dress, you know. They are very good and I wanted a vest top in a blush pink. So, I've got this and I really like it and I'm keeping it. When I go to Portugal later in the year, I won't have [clears throat] any qualms about showing my arms off. I don't know what it is. If I go abroad on holiday, I don't worry about it, but I do here. I just hate my arms so much. It's so wrinkly. Um but yeah, that is what I will do. So, I think this is a great buy. And then I've got just a normal everyday t-shirt. This is from the basics range as well, and I loved the color. I'm really into pink, pink and brown, pink and green.

[00:23:23]Uh, it's got a seam down the back, which I thought was a little bit unusual, but it's a lovely fit on. I think I've got this in a size medium.

[00:23:36]Now, I think this looks small for a medium, ladies. So, if you're interested, size up. I've not tried this on, but when you see it on, remember I've sized up because, yeah, that looks like a small to me, not a medium.

[00:23:53]And this is the problem with a brand being cheaper, isn't it? Why can't they just get their sizes right? That's such a shame, but it is a lovely t-shirt and good quality as well.
