Two economists from Wharton School and Boston University published a mathematical proof titled 'The AI Layoff Trap' demonstrating that AI will destroy the economy through a self-reinforcing cycle: companies replace workers with AI, workers lose jobs and stop spending, demand falls, companies respond by automating more, creating a vicious loop with no natural exit. The researchers found that common solutions like universal basic income, capital taxes, and upskilling programs all failed in their model, with only a Pigouvian automation tax (a per-task levy on replacing humans with AI) working to prevent this outcome.

Gates & Moderna Ready Ebola mRNA "Vaccines" | Daily Pulse Ep 263Added:

Tonight, two economists just published mathematical proof that AI will destroy the economy. Iran announces a halt to all exchanges with the US citing Israeli aggression in Lebanon. And Moderna snags a $50 million Ebola vaccine contract.
Let's get into the Daily Pulse.
Two economists just published mathematical proof that AI will completely destroy the economy. But before we take you through a summary of that paper, here's a recent clip of President Putin saying that AI is going to make entire professions extinct and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
Take a listen.
>> diseases. The labor market is being reformed. There's a situation when millions of people are about to lose their jobs or will be forced to change their areas of employment. Whole professions might go extinct.
Replaced when humans will be replaced by artificial intelligence.
A number of areas related to automation, preparing and analyzing documents, writing code, AI is already replacing junior specialists.
And in near future, it looks well poised to replace middle personnel. This process is irreversible and inevitable.
Progress is not standing still.
And we must be ready for upcoming changes. Better still, we must use them as drivers of accelerated economic growth. So, how exactly are we going to get ready for this? What is it that governments across the world are doing to prepare for the fact that entire industries are going to be completely wiped out? Not only is the lower class, but also the middle class going to be completely wiped out as far as their job prospects go.
Well, the answer is not much at all, really. We've had some idealogues telling us we're going to have a universal high income, which where are they going to get that money from?
But, according to two economists, there actually is no way out but one solution that they've seen.
Here's a summary of that particular paper that was just published. It says two economists just published a mathematical proof that AI will destroy the economy. Not might, not could, will, if nothing changes. The paper is called The AI Layoff Trap, published in March 2nd of 2026. Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, Boston University.
Peer-reviewed, mathematically modeled.
The conclusion is one sentence, quote, "At the limit, first automate their way to boundless productivity and zero demand." An economy that produces everything and sells it to nobody.
Here's how you get there. A company fires 500 workers and replaces them with AI. A competitor fires 700 to keep up.
Another fires a thousand. Every company is behaving rationally. Every company is following the incentives correctly, and every company is building a trap for itself. Because the workers who were fired were also customers. When they lose their jobs faster than the economy can absorb them, they stop spending.
Consumer demand falls. Companies respond by cutting costs, which means automating more workers, which means less spending, which means more failing demand, which means more automation. The loop has no natural exit. The researchers tested every proposed solution, universal basic income, capital income taxes, worker equity participation, upskilling programs, corporate coordination agreements. Every single one failed in the model.
The only intervention that worked, a Pigouvian automation tax. A per task levy charged every time a company replaces a human with AI, forcing them to price in the demand they are destroying before they pull the trigger.
No government has implemented this. No major economy is seriously discussing it. Meanwhile, the numbers are already tracking the curve. 100,000 tech workers laid off in 2025, 92,000 more in the first months of 2026. Jack Dorsey fired half of Block's workforce and said publicly, "Within the next year, the majority of companies will reach the same conclusion."
Nobody's doing anything wrong. Companies are following their incentives perfectly. That is exactly the problem.
Rational behavior at scale, simultaneously, with no mechanism to stop it. Two economists built the math.
The math leads to one place. The main point here from this paper is something they simply are not telling us. The promise is, "Well, AI data centers create jobs."
Yes, temporary jobs. People need to construct the data centers. A few food trucks and accommodation near the data center construction project may get some increased business until it's been constructed. Then what?
Well, that data center facilitates the replacement of countless workers.
Perhaps many in the very town where the data center was constructed. Then those few businesses which benefited from the temporary boom in business during its construction now have even less customers because their regular customers are now unemployed and any other prospects they may have have also been replaced by AI and robotics.
This is a vicious cycle that isn't going to stop because as the paper points out AI doesn't only eradicate workers, it eradicates customers. People who spend money because they have jobs that give them money to spend. No jobs, no income, no money going back into the economy.
All those businesses who replaced their workers with AI and saved on wages now make no income.
So not only will AI itself wipe out industries, the result of industries replacing workers with AI will wipe out those industries by default.
Of course, barely anyone is thinking about this because most people and businesses are focused on their bottom line right now.
There appears to be very little foresight in the world these days. And no doubt some of the world's leaders who depend on their advisors have no darn clue what they're doing either. Or they know exactly what they're doing and they want to our destruction. Both options are terrifying actually.
And the ways in which they're responding to the growing public realization that the AI revolution is not going to help humanity in any meaningful way tells us what they actually believe about AI.
There's no attempt attempt to work with the public, explain themselves, look for solutions, or even offer a single solution to the problem. No, they're just arresting people now who have legitimate concerns and are utilizing their constitutional right to protest to voice their opposition to being foisted into the dark ages. This video shows a Dixon, Illinois resident being charged with felony intimidation, stalking, and cyberstalking charges after police accused him of making threats against a former state representative Tom Demmer.
As you'll hear in the video, the man clarifies what he actually said and what he meant, but that doesn't matter to the police. What he was really doing was protesting against a data center. Take a listen.
>> Longs right here came by cuz I'm trying to organize a community protest against a representative who's trying to push in a data center owned by a out-of-state company trying to suck up all our energy. I I made a post. I made a an event on Facebook trying to organize the community to get together. And what's your badge number?
Name and badge number?
>> I Detective Madison.
>> And name and badge number?
>> Sharp. S H A R P N S 1 6 3.
>> Okay. Yeah. You No, I have I have a First Amendment right to protest. And if I organize a protest on a public road, there's nothing wrong with that. I sent an email to that representative, and I can show you the email. I never made a threat. I told No, this is my house, and I'm going to talk. You guys are on my property trying to intimidate me because I'm organizing a protest against a data center. Then why are you here?
>> Well, that's if you let me Okay, so first off, do you want to talk about this?
>> Talk about what? There's nothing to talk about. I'm organizing a protest, and I'm allowed to do that. It's a First Amendment protected activity.
>> Okay, 110%.
>> Yeah.
>> The issue is um some of the communication, the Facebook posts, um I would disagree that there's >> I haven't made a single threat. Tell me what threat I made.
>> Okay. Well, you know what you posted.
>> No, give me a Quote me. Quote Quote a threat cuz I didn't make one. I'm organizing a protest on a public street demanding a representative >> safety of his children.
>> Huh?
>> What about the safety of his children?
>> Someone else made a comment about the safety of his children.
>> Did you?
>> No.
>> You didn't?
>> No, what I said I said if he valued his children's safety, he probably wouldn't be trying to ruin the world that they're being brought up on. And that isn't a threat. That's the fact that I'm watching this man ruin the world around here. And yes, I'm allowed to say that if someone cares about their kids, they shouldn't destroy the community that their kids are being raised in. That's not a threat.
>> is you didn't say that in the post.
>> Yes, I did.
>> You denied >> Pull it up. Pull it up and read it.
>> at it.
>> Pull it up and read it.
>> I've been dealing with this all afternoon.
>> Cool. Pull it up and read it.
>> Okay.
So, that that's the concerning part is obviously yes, you have the right to make an event, you have the right to public protest, everything else, right?
But >> I never made a threat.
>> Okay. Well, we disagree, and our state attorney disagrees. Okay, so you're going to be charged today for a couple of offenses.
>> Seriously? I'm going to get charged for what?
>> For stalking and intimidation.
>> For stalking? When did I ever go to his house?
>> I won't explain that to you anymore.
Okay, so you are going to be placed under arrest right now, okay?
All right.
>> Okay, let me >> conclude your live stream. I'm going to let you know what you did.
>> So, the response from the government, as we showed you last week, is to create a new category of domestic terrorism, we guess. They call them anti-tech extremists.
And the response from local law enforcement seems to be it doesn't matter what you actually said and what you actually meant, we see it this way.
Judging or perhaps skewing the intent behind your words to make a case against you.
Why?
Because you are now in the category of a COVID skeptic, but worse. You're an enemy of the state. During COVID, it was you don't care about public health. With AI and data centers, it's you are putting national security at risk because China.
Okay.
Perhaps these two economists weren't right, by the way. Maybe AI won't result in millions, perhaps billions of people being unemployed, despite the fact that world leaders keep telling us it will.
But even if this is going to be really great, do the actions of government and police towards those raising their concerns instill any confidence in anyone that this isn't just tyranny and that AI is going to bring more tyranny?
If data centers and AI are so magnificent and are going to bring us so much prosperity, improvement in and extend our lives, and improve our health, and all of these promises they keep making with no evidence, by the way, then it should be easy for them to convince us of that.
However, to this day, nobody, and we mean nobody, even coming off the back of a detailed interview with Kevin O'Leary and Tucker Carlson, which by the way was a totally failed attempt to explain anything, nobody can in any way even vaguely advise us as to what the data centers are even for, let alone the benefits.
What we do know is that they are destructive resource hogs both with water and electricity usage. They produce light pollution, noise, EMFs. At this point, the negatives far outweigh the positives.
The positives, as far as we're told, is we have to beat China.
That's quite literally the only thing we've heard from anyone.
Beat China in what? Creating a surveillance state?
Because that seems to be all that we're achieving.
And what we also know is that the only meaningful responses we're seeing from government is intimidation, secrecy, and arresting those who oppose the agenda.
So, what kind of future will AI really bring and how much worse will it get once AI is running the justice system?
Because that is coming, too.
At this point, the man in the last video we just played you still had some sort of recourse or right of reply. He can state his case. They still arrest him, but he should get his day in court and talk to a real human.
But once that, too, is replaced with AI that favors itself and its expansion and only has strict parameters in which it assesses anything, much worse than the cops, you won't get the right of reply.
You won't get your day in court. You won't get anything but your access to the system withdrawn or put on hold.
Penalties will be automatically issued.
Freezes on bank access are a guarantee.
And whatever other dystopian scenario for misbehaving you can think of will be imposed.
All powered by the data center, you won't allowed to protest. The window to exit the rigged paper casino may be closing faster than most Americans realize. Well, a major development today, Iran has announced halting all exchanges with the US. Here's the article from Zero Hedge, Trump on Iran halting talks.
"We'll keep blockade," signals Tehran can't outlast US.
The summary here is Iran announces a halt to all exchanges with the US citing Israeli aggression in Lebanon. Trump says, "Haven't heard for this from Tehran." Vows to keep US naval blockade in place. Iran overnight initiated fresh attacks on neighboring Kuwait and even released video showing footage of a ballistic missile launch. The US bombed radar and drone sites in Iran in response to the Iranians having shot down a US drone over the weekend.
Reports of foreign jets over Iranian airspace. Iran negotiator Galibaf charges US with breaking the ceasefire.
Quote, "The naval blockade and escalation of war crimes in Lebanon were clear evidence of US non-compliance with the ceasefire."
Yemen's Houthis warn they are ready to join Hezbollah's military efforts against Israel. And Trump Truth Social, Just sit back and relax. It will all work out well in the end. It always does. So, President Trump has told NBC News that he's not heard from Iran on reports that they're suspending talks.
And on Iran, I think we've been talking too much if you want to know the truth.
Going silent would be very good. Again, these contradicting statements from all sides are the norm in this conflict and in all conflicts these days. His comments to NBC are, "It's an inappropr- it's an appropriate thing to say rather because they're better negotiators than they are fighters." he said in a brief phone call, "but they haven't informed us of that. It doesn't mean we're going to go and start dropping bombs all over there." added Trump who said Friday he would soon decide on a proposed deal to extend an ostensible ceasefire agreed to in early April, "We'll keep the blockade."
Well, according to state media, Iran has stopped exchanging messages with the US.
Merely last week, Western MSM press reports were touting the usual close to a deal headlines, but this morning demonstrate how illusory such claims were and are as Iranian state media now suggest a total halt in communications between the sides.
Per state Tasnim, Iran stops exchanging messages with the US in protest against Zionist crimes. This as the IDF has sent ground forces deep into Lebanon past the Litani River in the deepest operation in decades. Tehran has insisted on linking up any US-Iran deal with uh Israeli-Lebanon peace. Tehran is now warning to completely block the Strait of Hormuz including the Bab al-Mandab Strait. The latter with the cooperation of Yemen's Houthis. All this has direct impact on the US-Iran ceasefire.
Iran's state TV says probability of ceasefire between Iran and US ending is high if attacks on Lebanon do not stop.
On screen are a couple of graphics. Oil jumps on the headline of halted talks and also the future slide right there.
Author and University of Chicago Professor of the realist school Robert Pape says the following on Monday published report. We will run out of our cushion of oil inventories in July, whether it's the middle or end of July, he said. And Iran knows that. So, what Iran is doing is just stringing out the clock to get a better deal. What that tells me is they're not interested in returning the price of oil back to where it was the war, he said. I think what we need to understand is Iran's goal to continue instability, continue elevated price of the world's oil because it gains from that.
From CENTCOM, Monday morning US Central Command issued its official statement and explanation over the earlier tit-for-tat brief flare-up in fighting, which appears to have ended. Last night at 11:00 p.m. ET, US forces successfully intercepted two Iranian ballistic missiles targeting American forces based in Kuwait. These missiles were immediately defeated and no American personnel were harmed, it said. US Central Command remains vigilant and will continue to protect our forces from Iranian aggression while supporting the ongoing ceasefire.
Well, fresh missiles on Kuwait, the extended US-Iran ceasefire is once again being severely tested after Iran earlier in the daylight hours of Monday initiated fresh attacks on neighboring Kuwait and even released a video footage of a ballistic missile launch. Um Kuwait, in turn, confirmed that it has been intercepting inbound drone and missile fire.
It hosts a major American base, which again is being targeted, though it's unclear if anything has been hit. The IRGC subsequently identified that it targeted the US base in response to weekend US strikes on Iranian sites.
According to a description of the released propaganda video, the start of the video includes a close-up of what looks to be a sticker on the body of a missile depicting a bruised US President Donald Trump on the phone asking for help and overlaid on a closed Strait of Hormuz. The caption reads, "Until the last American soldier leaves the region." You can see that there. This is the um you know, first image of the propaganda video released.
So, briefly on the Kuwait GCC condemnation, after the US base in Kuwait was freshly targeted, Kuwait's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued the following, "Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates the State of Kuwait's condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the heinous and repeated Iranian attacks, which represent a dangerous escalation and a direct assault on the security and stability of the State of Kuwait, as well as a flagrant violation of the rules of international law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817 of 2026, not to mention the grave threat they pose to the safety of civilians and vital facilities in the country." It said in a post on X.
Iran's latest warnings, the bill comes due, ceasefire breached.
Top Iranian negotiator and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Qalibaf has said that the continued American naval blockade of Iran's ports and Israel's intensifying offensive against Hezbollah in Lebanon illustrate that the US is not fully complying with the ceasefire. He wrote on X that the naval blockade and escalation of war crimes in Lebanon were clear evidence of US non-compliance with the ceasefire. He stressed by way of warning, "Every choice has a price and the bill comes due. It will all fall into place." As things in Lebanon intensify, given the IDF has plunged past the Litani River and plans to expand its ground force occupation.
Yemen's Houthis say they are ready to join Hezbollah's efforts against Israel per Tasnim. Iran's Foreign Ministry has also freshly addressed the Lebanon crisis. While Trump is telling people to sit back and relax, Trump's latest Truth Social, "Just sit back and relax. It will all work out well in the end. It always does.
And here's pushback from Stephen Walt in Foreign Policy magazine. He says, "Although we don't know the details of the rumored agreement between the US and Iran, or even if one will eventually be reached, anyone with a triple-digit IQ understands that Israel and the US made a colossal blunder when they started the war. None of their stated goals have been achieved, the Iranian regime did not collapse, it did not surrender its nuclear stockpile, and its missile and drone capabilities are intact. It has demonstrated that it can shut down the Strait of Hormuz anytime it wants to inflict significant damage on its neighbors." All of US President Donald Trump's and US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's bragging and bluster over the past 3 months has been exposed as a lot of hot air. That's quite scathing there.
Iran has touted more breaches of US blockade. A total of 15 vessels, including four oil tankers, have successfully transited the Strait of Hormuz over the last 24 hours, according to the IRGC.
Um and the IRGC Navy conveyed that the ships only completed their passage after receiving explicit permission and coordinating directly with its command structure. Washington and its Gulf allies, with the exception of Oman, have repeatedly condemned any attempt to impose an Iranian protocol involving the extraction of tolls. In an official statement carried by Fars News, the IRGC issued a stark warning to the region, declaring that any cooperation with hostile forces would be viewed by Tehran as an imminent security threat that will be dealt with accordingly. This is tantamount to warning foreign vessels they could come under direct attack if they don't comply. And um we have some further developments here. We're not going to take you through the full list here. Um but you have just a few from the top there. Iran Iran may propose changes to the US peace deal draft uh memorandum of understanding, according to Tasnim. This follows a report that President Trump proposed further changes to the existing text, while the source stated that text exchanges continue and that Iran may submit its own edits. The Iranian foreign minister told state media that talks and message exchanges are ongoing and that the talks cannot be judged until a clear result is reached. So, is it Are they ceasing talks? Are they continuing talks?
This is what we mean about continuous contradicting statements, really.
But this could be, you know, prior to them issuing that statement, of course.
Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson said the negotiations team visit to Qatar was positive. They also said that they have a legal obligation to prevent aggressors from using their territory and facilities to attack another country. So, all sort of statements that we've seen throughout this war. Now, whilst there are many opinions and biases out there, what is clear is that the information from both sides has repeatedly been contradictory, confusing, and it is, of course, a fast-moving target.
As the midterms approach and a growing number of people appear to oppose what was supposed to be a very short operation, at least that's what they were told. President Trump has said he doesn't care about the midterms. But this weekend he did tell his Truth Social followers again to watch Mark Levin's show, who, of course, spent his time hyperventilating about how people should be supporting the admin by accepting rising fuel costs when they're already struggling to afford groceries.
So, that's the message, we guess. And it isn't working. People are understandably more concerned about the economy at home and being able to afford to feed their children than they are about a country across the world which has literally zero impact on them. And the younger generation, which is actually the future, from what we're seeing online, are positively fed up. They want an end to this and they want it fast.

If any of us thought that the MAGA agenda or its supposed leaders were ever going to be able to put a dent in the vaccine aka gene editing sometimes in a lethal manner industry, boy oh boy were we wrong. The status quo appears to remain and Moderna is about to cash in yet again. They've just snagged a $50 Ebola vax contract where they were saving up to 50 million to accelerate the development of an Ebola vaccine as the virus continues to spread in the Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo.
Has anyone figured out how this actually started or are they giving us some uh you know, someone ate a bat soup narrative again or maybe they ate a rhinoceros foot this time round. Who knows? Uh we still haven't gotten to the bottom of a bio weapons development that was COVID and yet we are doing these types of pandemics and viruses and very likely weaponized diseases time and time again. And maybe that's not what happened here. We're not saying that for sure. We're just saying that that industry just happens to have continued unabated. Uh it goes on that the funding is coming from global health organization CEPI, which told Reuters that it was possible to bring the vaccines to trial phase within a couple of months. Aw, so great of CEPI to keep doing this. CEPI said it would also invest up to 8.6 million for a shot developed by the University of Oxford and manufactured by the Serum Institute of India and an initial 3.2 million for a vaccine developed by the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative.
"Every day counts in this race against this deadly disease," said Richard Hatchett, head of CEPI, adding that the vaccines are a are on a not infinitely distant horizon.
That said, Hatchett also cautioned that vaccine development can be unpredictable. Plus, there's a challenging security situation in eastern Congo that may might make trials complex, which includes most recently locals setting fire to an Ebola treatment center after they were stopped from retrieving the body of a dead man.
"The crowd set fire to two tents fitted with eight beds run by a medical charity called the Alliance for International Medical Action," said deputy senior commissioner Jean-Claude Mukendi, head of the public security department on Ituri in Ituri province, sorry. Is that really why they set fire? I mean, I don't know the entire details of this story, but we have the official narrative. It's because they couldn't retrieve a dead body. But what is the narrative from the locals? Is it because they actually view this Ebola treatment center as something other than a treatment center? It would be interesting to find out those details. So far, there have tragically been 282 confirmed cases and 42 deaths in the recent outbreak and around 1,100 suspected cases according to the African CDC and the World Health Organization.
How are they assessing those suspected cases? Likely PCR, which of course we know is a fraudulent testing method.
Beyond the DRC, nine cases have been confirmed in Uganda including one death.
Two weeks to stop the uncontrollable anal bleeding and 50% chance of death ask Zero Hedge. CEPI was conceived in 2015 and formally launched in 2017 at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. It was co-founded and co-funded with $460 million US from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
In 2022, the Gates Foundation pledged another 150 million matched by Welcome Trust for a total of 300 million dollars to support CEPI's COVID-19 response and pandemic preparedness plans as well as combat the threat of future pandemics.
So this is the beast that functioned throughout COVID. Bill Gates is someone RFK Jr. wrote about, but he's back enjoying lovely dinners at the White House these days.
And the timing of this Ebola outbreak should not be lost on anyone. Recently Bill Gates made a statement that humans won't be needed because of AI and that we, meaning those engineering the world towards their desired outcomes, are going to decide what to do with all of these humans they view as useless.
Here's a video on that as well as a flashback to when Bill Gates at a TED Talk said if we do a really good job with vaccines, we can reduce the world's population.
>> I mean, why still need humans?
>> Uh not for most things.
Uh you know, we'll decide.
People are like, "Wow, this is this is a bit scary."
First, we've got population.
Uh the world today has 6.8 billion people. That's headed up to about 9 billion.
Now if we do a really great job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health services, we could lower that by perhaps 10 or 15%.
>> It remains to be seen just how far this Ebola outbreak will spread and whether this is actually Ebola, by the way. We did a quick search and found the primary method of testing they're using is PCR.
We won't spend an entire segment on why that is problematic again. We've explained that in detail in the past, but suffice to say PCR is not a method of testing that should be used for any viruses in the ways in which they're using it.
So, not to minimize what the people in that region are going through right now, but our point is that they may tell a bunch of asymptomatic people that they have Ebola and give them a bunch of gene editing injections that end up being really bad for them, maybe lethal even.
They did it to the entire world during COVID. What makes us think they wouldn't do it again, and again, and again, considering no one was or will be held accountable for those crimes against humanity?
We sincerely hope there are some doctors in the region who are able to help people suffering the right way, legitimate treatment, rather than just stabbing them with needles containing God knows what.
Bill Gates and his ilk, in my opinion, can never be trusted again with absolutely anything. There is a serious problem with health insurance in America. Over 200,000 Americans per year are driven into bankruptcy due to health events despite having health insurance.
On average, 20% of people have their claims denied altogether, leaving them and their families helpless, not to mention the additional out-of-pocket expenses despite dumping thousands of dollars per year into unreliable insurance and deductible payments.
But, did you know there's an alternative?
In the midst of all of this, a revolutionary model has emerged that is resulting in just shy of 100% of medical bills being funded, and at literally a fraction of the cost. It's called CrowdHealth. With over 28,000 members helped with medical bills, a 99.9% funding success, and over $56 million in medical bills saved, this alternative method of healthcare is sweeping the nation, and people need to know this option exists for them and their loved ones.
