I'm like, "Can I uh secure it with a uh with chains?" He's like, "Oh, no. You can't chain. You got to strap it." I'm just like, "So, how the hell you strap this?" So, from what I've seen on videos, they say you supposed to do a X strap across every three because they're what? 2,300. From what the dude told me they 2,300 lb a piece.

[00:02:20]So, if I'm getting eight, it's like, uh, yeah, cuz he said you can't chain it cuz it'll mess said it'll mess up something. So, I've only seen them I've always seen them chain. At least the beginning one chain and the rear one chain. So, the back one pulling to the middle and the back uh yeah, the back one pulling front one and the front one pulling backwards. And then all the ones in the middle I've always been I've been strapped, but he said you can't do that.

And here we are. prime example where I did it cuz if I would have had the dunage, I could have threw it across the front, strapped the dunage down with a strap that way it holds it down to hold in the front of it and then put one in the rear since I can't chain it. I'll feel more secure doing it that way. Don't understand why these need to be tarp, but they railroad things. Literally the tracks. Hold on, I'll show y'all. I think what I'm going to do is I'mma extrap it and I'm going to put one uh I'mma put a strap on the rear uh like a like a horseshoe strap around it. I'm asking am I allowed to do that?

I've never hauled these, so I don't know. The other guy, the guy that was loading me said that he ain't never heard that before, but the guy that's over this said that it'll damage it. I don't know. Like I said, I've seen people haul these things with chains because they I you know me, I watch a lot of YouTube, so I know they said they chain the front one and chain the rear one pulling back. Um I mean pull them forward and then the front one pulling back. So and then they normally I seen a dude he did it like this where he extrap them like this, but he did it across three cuz he had like 16 of them.

[00:06:58]I got eight. I assume the other driver got eight. So that's probably why they're 2,300 lb a piece. So 23 * 8 is like 18,000 lb. So it's actually lighter. But I didn't look at the paperwork. He gave it to me. But y'all hear that?

Okay. So, you want me to strap it and you don't even know how he strapped it? It's just these people, man. They make they make your life so hard, man. But let me go ahead and finish this. I got to throw a tarp on it. Like I said, I don't know. Maybe they brand new. That's why they got to be tarp. They look old as hell. But I don't know. Maybe they new. Freaking thing be moving by itself. But yeah, it's fully tart. I got to take some pictures real quick. Send it to I guess I sent it to the agent cuz they said I got to show pictures of it being tart. I think in the end I got to send the bill lady I believe. So going to go ahead and get that done, man. But yeah, eight of these bad boys done. I want to put a strap, twoin strap pulling back. I'm going to do that tonight.

I feel like it's going to ride fine because I have it going under uh like the side like how you do a No, I say like you do a slinky, but I don't know what it compares to, but I have it going under. So when when it's pulling back, it's pushing back. You get what I'm saying? So probably see it better when I showed y'all. But I'm going see how it rides like this. If I feel like it's moving too much or or if I feel like the straps are loosening too much or anything, then we'll go ahead and do it like that. Check-in process, it took me 2 hours just to get a damn gate pass to get in here. When I got here, there was 15 people alive. When I got in line, there was 14 people. And it took forever. Then I'm telling them when I finally got called up there, they're like, "Oh, um, I like, "Yeah, they got me a gate pass. It's already they just told me to come up here and do like, oh, uh, you got to call them and blah blah blah." And I'm like, "Bro." So, I called the agent. The agent got a hold of the guy I was supposed to call. The guy was supposed to call like, "Yeah, man. Tell him that Russ sent an email on Friday about you coming that you should already have a pass." So then they finally did it. Um I mean finally they got it. You got to do um they scan your two index fingers. I don't I don't know why. First time I had to do that. They scan both your index fingers and they do uh and they take a picture. Your picture is what they put on the game pad. That's different because the other um uh bases I've been to, they use your picture that's already in the system. So, I guess maybe they use a different system here cuz like when I checked in in uh Virginia, they used my pictures from Florida and that wasn't even a Navy base. So, I don't know. I don't know what determines what system, but hey, nonetheless, I'm surprised this place is here at a Navy base. But hey, it is what it is. Let's get on down this road, man.

So, we're going to Ontario this time. If you've been following me, you know I've been to Canada when I was at ATS, but I've been to the BC side, which is um um above Washington State. I went there twice at ATS. So, this be my first time going over there.

[00:17:56]Hamilton's is south of Toronto, so I got to figure out today what border I am crossing. I was told the best border to cross is through Buffalo. If I cross through Buffalo, I'll be an hour from my delivery. If I cross through Detroit, I'll be 3 hours away from my delivery. So, we going to see. I don't drop it till Monday. Um because this load, like I said, is 2500 miles. I didn't drive that long yesterday. I think I drove, let me see, I had 6 hours when I left. I think I parked with an hour. So, I drove five hours yesterday. So, I ain't knock out. I was going to say I knocked out probably 300 miles, but I don't even think I knocked out that much because Cali eat that 55 mph beh probably probably won't get fuel today unless I see something really really cheap. Uh, other than that, we just it's a driving day. So, let's get to it.

But uh the agent sent me the paperwork for that I got to send to land start my border my border broke the little thing that she lifted up. It didn't work. I think Lance runs off the Eastern time if I'm not mistaken. So, I'm going call first thing in the morning and uh get that paperwork over to them. So, then I think after that they give me the final paper that I paperwork that I need. Maybe it's just one page, but I don't remember. I only did it at um ATS. So, if we get that, we'll be good.

[00:22:33]So, hopefully tomorrow we can get that, but we'll see what happens. They end up giving me the uh they end up giving me the telling me to cross the border uh north of Detroit. It's called Serena Crossing. Border uh border crossing. I don't know. I was going to cross in Buffalo, but he was like, "Oh, the other drivers crossing this arena." That's from what I seen, that's the largest uh commercial uh crossing. So, I'm just like, "Ah, that sound like it's going to be a headache because it's a lot of people. That's going to [ __ ] us up." And they got me set for Monday 7:00 a.m. to cross that border. So, it's a 2-hour drive once I cross the border.

I just want to make sure I have enough cuz I I know in Canada they get fuel by the leader. I don't know if Ontario's the same, but I ain't trying to find out either. So worst case scenario, you know, I rather be straight. So let's get this fuel and I'm going to keep it moving. Keep chasing that same old devil down the same old highway.

[00:36:21]I think that's it for food, but I already had food, so it didn't matter to me. But yeah, we got 186 miles to get to the delivery. So, I don't know what time I can get there. I think my paperwork say 7. U Google say don't open till 9.

[00:36:39]So I don't know which one is correct. So right now my truck GPS say I'll get there at 810. So like we just going to find a happy medium. So that's that's what we working with. So yeah, let's get on over to Canada. Oh, also I did find out that custom broken number that I needed. It was different.

It's like legitely that's all you see.

Don't open till 10 11:00 and I got here, of course, it was like 7 8:00 when I got to the truck stop. So, I'm going to try I got some Starbucks and some uh Tim Hortons. I had a little breakfast wrap. It wasn't that great. It was all right. It wasn't They put like a little piece of sausage in it. So, I like what the hell is this? But I'm going to try I'm going try to get a Burger King. They do have a Burger King. I know that that restaurant had a Popeye's, but I'm not going to pass. Well, I'm going to pass that restaurant there, but it's on the other side. And the one on my side only has a Tim Hortons. I don't want that again. I already had that. Um, so I'm going to try to hit the Burger King.

[00:41:23]There's Burger King at the TA before you leave out of Canada. So, I'm going to hit that and then get up out of here. We got 3 hours to get back to where I was parked at. Uh, I still haven't found a load. I'm not gonna look for a load probably till I get back over there cuz I need to see exactly where I'mma park at. But I mean where what direction I'mma go and uh and I know that port coming into the US was super packed. So I'm going to wait till I get over there.

[00:41:46]So I catch y'all when we get to Burger King. Every time I hear that song and I go back to two short mach is uh pro.

[00:42:09]It don't look like no damn pro, but this is pro, you know. I had to go in there and be a tourist. They got a freaking Let me show y'all real quick. This This is not new. this grapefruit um rainbow.

[00:42:19]We I think that came out like last year, but I've never seen It even says limited series. It's a watermelon 7 up. Never seen that. Zero sugar, so pray for me.

[00:42:30]And then they got a freaking Mountain Dew summer freeze and a Mountain Dew Supernova.

[00:42:41]So maybe they coming to the States, they just ain't got them. Then again, I don't drink soda like that. I know somebody comment told me to stop drinking don't drink Mountain Dew, but I don't drink soda like that. I'm only been getting them just to try it, but and half the time I don't finish them. So that's just me. I drink a couple sips of it. If it's good, then I probably finish it. If it ain't, I'm just going to toss it. I ain't even going to lie to you. And nonetheless, we got some Burger King. So it says there's 30 minutes to cross the border. 30 minute delay right now at the border.

[00:43:15]So that's why I went and got me some food and some drinks cuz I know I'm going to be sitting for a while. So it is what it is. We did get another load.

[00:43:23]It don't pick up till Wednesday. But put this back. This thing fell down. It don't pick up till Wednesday. But it's okay.

[00:43:35]But I'm tired and don't feel like doing anything anyway. So they give me the rest of the day to chill. Tomorrow I'll drive to the pickup. It's only like uh 30 mi. Um if even that. Um so it's like 30 mi away. I'll try I try to make it to where I can pick it up tomorrow, but they said it's not going to be ready till Wednesday. So I'll pick it up Wednesday morning. It drops Friday. I'll probably get there Thursday. You know me if I can drop it. I'mma ask drop it on Thursday. But just whatever. I got to order the permits for that. So soon as he send me the paperwork, I'll probably order the permits today cuz I don't know how these states are.
