I replaced the faulty F250 with a Chevrolet 2500hd.

[00:00:00]review of my new truck. This is a 2021 Chevy 2500 that I just picked up.

[00:00:13]As some of you may know or even if you don't I purchased a F250 at the beginning of May.

[00:00:23]I probably only had the truck in my possession 3 days out of the whole month of May. It was a diesel truck.

[00:00:31]Um it was having issue as to where um you gave it gas it would reduce power, so on and so forth.

[00:00:46]Sent it back to the dealer. They didn't know what was wrong with it.

[00:00:50]Um they took it to the shop.

[00:00:52]Fixed on it for a while. I got it back.

[00:00:55]Um and then the diesel was leaking from the front to the back. So, I returned it.

[00:01:06]They did what they were supposed to do on their end to get me out of the vehicle.

[00:01:10]Get my down payment back.

[00:01:12]And then I went and got this.

[00:01:20]This is a gas truck.

[00:01:29]Open this back. There's a switch for my light coming in here. Okay.

[00:01:33]Still has the 6.6 L V8.

[00:01:43]Still toes pretty well. I tow my trailer with it.

[00:01:51]Little single axle trailer.

[00:01:55]Tank be full of water.

[00:01:58]Throw it on the back of here. Do not feel like you have anything on the back of this truck.

[00:02:04]The diesel truck does have more power.

[00:02:07]Or it did.

[00:02:09]Torque numbers were double.

[00:02:12]I think this is like 470 torque.

[00:02:16]The diesel truck easily 800 lb feet of torque.

[00:02:22]So it was a monster the diesel truck was.

[00:02:27]This definitely definitely has been doing what I needed to do.

[00:02:31]And I've had absolutely zero issues with it since I've had it.

[00:02:41]It's got some cool features. Let me see.

[00:02:45]Press this button and it turns on the light to the bed.

[00:02:51]See, there's a light on that side.

[00:02:54]It's a light over here.

[00:02:56]Turns those lights on.

[00:02:59]Then if I press I think it's this button.

[00:03:08]I get mirror lighting.

[00:03:11]So at night it illuminates down the entire side of the truck.

[00:03:17]You can see it on the both mirrors.

[00:03:25]It's on both sides of the truck both sides of the truck.

[00:03:32]And that's a cool feature.

[00:03:37]It's got fog lights.

[00:03:40]This is a straight V8. And what I mean by that there's no start stop system.

[00:03:49]None of that extra crap.

[00:03:52]Um this on the truck.

[00:03:56]Well, on these newer vehicles there's none of that.

[00:04:01]That's what I like about it. It's a straight V8.

[00:04:04]Make sure these lights go out.

[00:04:12]They're still on.

[00:04:22]Straight V8 like I said, it's 6.6 L V8 uh sitting down in there pretty low.

[00:04:51]It came with these brand new tires.

[00:04:58]I think they're 33s.

[00:05:01]Some Renegade RTs.

[00:05:04]Some pretty aggressive tread.

[00:05:07]The sidewall is pretty aggressive if you're doing any off-roading or mild off-roading.

[00:05:16]Not going to change it.

[00:05:20]Um before I purchased the first truck um or even this one for those that know me, I had a Silverado 1500 on 30s.

[00:05:34]And I used to do everything with that truck.

[00:05:36]I just I wanted a bigger truck. It was time for a new truck.

[00:05:41]I went through a little hurdle or two.

[00:05:45]But I got a good truck this time.

[00:05:51]I can't complain.

[00:05:55]And for those of you asking, you want to know I do still have the Silverado.

[00:06:14]Nice peaceful neighborhood.

[00:06:21]And a pretty decently sized crib.

[00:06:30]Seven bedroom, seven bath.

[00:06:33]It's two kitchens, two laundry rooms, two driveways, one, two.

[00:06:46]Three and a half acres.

[00:06:49]Here's the old Silverado.

[00:06:52]This is 2014 Silverado 1500.

[00:07:01]I have had this truck for years, four and some change maybe.

[00:07:07]Now it has I think it's got 230 something thousand miles on it. This truck has been a workhorse.

[00:07:17]Uh I put this truck through its paces, trust me. It was on 30s for a minute.

[00:07:28]I took them off, put the stock boys back on.

[00:07:38]But, it was time for a new truck.

[00:07:43]And it's just time.

[00:07:48]It's been to the Rick Ross car show what, 3 years in a row, I think.

[00:07:56]When it was on the 30s.

[00:08:02]Um, nothing was done to this truck but I lift kit on the front to fit the 30s.

[00:08:09]That was all that had to be done. Other than that this stock ride height.

[00:08:15]You know what I'm saying?

[00:08:17]Usually these 1500s have a rake on the front but you can see that it's pretty even.

[00:08:26]So, if you ever want to fit 30s on a Silverado on a 1500 on the 20 14, 15, 16 models, maybe.

[00:08:40]You can do it with nothing but a little lift kit. I mean, not a lift kit.

[00:08:47]Um but you can put 30s on here.

[00:08:56]You can see it was it's not trimmed or anything. I didn't want to cut this truck when I when I purchased it. They did cut the uh firewall back here. Cut it out.

[00:09:08]They cut the firewall.

[00:09:11]And then I think I had to like bang and bang on that piece down here a little bit for some clearance, but other than that this truck is stock with just a leveling kit on the front.
