This analysis correctly identifies the middle class not as a natural economic outcome, but as a temporary policy construct now being dismantled for systemic wealth extraction. It exposes how the transition from ownership to a subscription-based existence has effectively turned the American Dream into a permanent debt trap.

The Middle Class Was a Con Job.....They Got Us GoodAdded:
A broke millionaire once said the middle class was a conj job. That's the title of this video and the name of this guy's channel. Very clever name. People like that. Covered him before. Should be a good time.
>> The middle class was a conj job and we're here to talk about what's next. I don't know if you've realized this, but they sold us a Hollywood ending. And in the meantime, they changed the script.
And when we finally realize that it was a lie, it seems like it's too late. You know, in our culture, they told us, "Work hard, hustle, grind, maybe get a diploma, start a business, get a I actually have my diploma hanging up right here. Hold on." My chick gives me crap for it cuz I like keep it hung up.
Has their uh college diploma hanging up.
High school. Yeah.
Classic >> house, build a family, have kids, do the vacation, retire, or grind, hustle, get that business, become a star, become famous, get super rich, buy a McMansion.
Everything will be great. The American dream.
>> Just trying to buy a McDouble out here.
You know what I'm saying?
That was stupid.
You can have a family and a house and you can get rich and you can be successful. You can get everything if you just work hard enough. Meanwhile, they were eliminating pensions. They were stagnating wages. They were firing employees by the thousands. Spending Dude, could you imagine having a pension?
What?
A pension, dude.
Getting revved up. A pension, man.
Tremendous.
>> Our taxpayer money on limitless wars.
They were buying up all the houses. They were turning our cities into outdoor toilets. They were selling us addictive medications, poisoned food, and hiking up the cost of everything. Did I miss anything there? They sold us the dream in every movie, every TV show, and every commercial while they were systematically dismantling the structure that made any of that possible. You probably did everything right and you're still losing. And not because you failed, because they lied to you. They lied to us. And the middle class is dead. Not because we were lazy and not because we failed, but because we were conned into something that wasn't true.
And in the next 6 to 8 minutes, it did work for a long time. I experienced it.
A lot of you guys experienced it. Hell, there was a time, you know, you could be a drug addict and afford a life. So, it wasn't like it wasn't real.
Just to be clear here, it is gone though. I'm loving it. Just kidding.
>> I'm gonna show you how they pulled it off. How they kept us believing in the Hollywood ending while they were stripping everything underneath. And then I'm going to show you what to do now that you know the truth. So, let me show you exactly what I'm talking about.
in 1985.
I think my dad bought a house for around $90,000 and I think he was making about >> even that was a little steep then too. I would say just throwing that out there >> about $30,000. So three times his income. Now, in 2025, someone might be making 75, 100,000, maybe even more, but the median average house is around $600,000.
And that's not even a good house. And now you can't work at the same job. You can't even expect a pension. Well, probably work till you're 75 and hope for the best. But here's the con. While they >> Oh, wow. He looks a lot better when he's not blurry.
>> We're changing the rules. and the system underneath us, they were selling us the same story over and over again. The Weinstein and the Epstein and the Maidoffs were all kinds of Jewish people >> were lying and cheating and raping and you name it, right under our eyes. Every movie, every TV show, guy works hard, gets the girl, builds a life, lives happily ever after. They kept telling us that it was possible while making it more impossible. And so that's not bad luck. That's fraud. So this is where I live, Baja, California, sir, Mexico, and I left Canada, drove into the US, and then decided to keep going down to Mexico. Why? Because I realized the con.
because once you see it, you can't unsee it. So, I graduated in '95. I did everything I was supposed to do.
Financed my own way through university and then started a business. The business was really successful and then what I started to see was the rot at the top. I started to see that there was only so much time before my business was going to get destroyed by let's say the immoralers who wanted to take everything to China. I used to manufacture here >> the damn Chinese. I'm telling you squinny eyed. I'm I'm joking guys. I'm kidding.
>> Everything. Then they told me stop doing it. Go make everything in China. We don't care about the workers here. We just want more profit. And I refused.
And I saw that if I kept going down this road, my business would end because I was up against a system that no longer cared about people, about morality, about integrity.
>> And think about it like this. He's a small business, too, or was a small business.
even the smallest of the small, you know, you got to make money. I get that.
I understand. I'm all about it. But for instance, like I use editors and stuff for YouTube and and it's up and down.
I'm at the mercy of, you know, Google.
Thank you Google very much for the opportunity. Um, so it's very like it can be ripped from you. But, um, a popular thing in my business is to hire people in India. That's a big one. Um, just flick them quarters, you know. Um, but I hire people who live here and um, but it's hard to I get it and I'm a small fish is what I'm trying to say.
Um, so for me to have a guy or two working here in the States, it's like it's tough. And I get why people want to cut corners and be like, well, I could pay this dude $500 a month versus four grand a month.
And it's hard. It's a hard thing to be like.
So, I I commend him on this one. I don't know where he's going with it, but we'll see. Maybe he did go full-blown [ __ ] Chinese on us. Kind of shamed to admit this to you guys, but uh just a few years ago, my credit score was literally negative. Well, not literally. It was around 500. Kind of pathetic. And that's why today's video is sponsored by Smart Credit. I've been using them for years, and they've helped me get back to a 700.
I'm going to get a little personal with you here. Take a look at my stats. This is my personal info. My credit score is 700, which is a lot better. My auto score looking pretty solid. 734. My insurance score looking a little good.
Right here is a weird one. A hiring risk index score. I'm at a C++ right now. Not too good. Used to be a B student. One of my favorite features is right here. They keep all your credit cards right there tightly in a nice nook. But right here on the score builder tool, it looks like I could build up 70 points if I follow their plan. The score builder shows you which accounts are helping and or hurting your score and gives you abilities to take actions on the accounts negatively impacting your score to potentially get them resolved. Best part is when you use smart credit, it does not hurt your credit score to look at this app. They also got that score boost tool. Shows you exactly how much to pay based on your budget and your credit cards and when to pay to get the most points the fastest. Also, Smart Credit customers on average add about 34 points to their credit score in as little as 30 days. Pretty impressive.
They also got the privacy master tool.
Scans data broker websites who are selling your personal information and helps you remove it. Other services charge a lot more than Smart Credit does for the same exact service. They also got the $1 million identity fraud that's included with your Smart Credit plan along with the Privacy Master tool at no extra charge. Smart Credit's helped over 4 million people get back in the credit score game, get on that leaderboard charts. And if you're looking to do that for yourself with the all-in-one approach that is Smart Credit, you can try Smart Credit right now for $1 for a 7-day trial using my link down below.
Smart Credit's the way, the truth, and the light. I've been using them for years and thank you Smart Credit for sponsoring this channel and helping me get my life together. I love you >> values about doing what is good for your fellow countrymen. And that's when I knew I had to get out. I saw the dark underbelly of >> good for him. I just want to throw that out there cuz um that's a big part of the problem even with the smallest person. Forget the big Jewish guy and the Japanese and all that. Forget that.
The small fish um a lot of the small fish do it too. Um, and it's tempting because you do save money and you got to make money out here. I fully get it. Um, but just something to consider on that end.
>> The beast. And to be honest, at that time, I couldn't figure out a way to get around it. And looking back, I think, you know, maybe I could have. I just was surrounded by people that had a different mentality. No one around me seemed to really see what I was seeing and see how it was just the wrong way to go and that just wasn't good for people around us for the community. People just kept believing the story that it doesn't matter what they did that this dream would just come true. It doesn't matter if you don't care about people, if you don't care about your workers, if you're just greedy, if you're just going for profit. It doesn't matter. you just do it without thinking and things will just work out. But I could see that it things weren't going to just work out. It didn't make any sense to me. Now, this has been going on a long time. And I would argue that's kind of big reason why we're in the situation we're in. And even if you did own a small business, it's hard to pay people because you're not necessarily you, you know, everything's more expensive, guys. Does anybody in here know how it's more expensive for everything? Well, that's also for people who run businesses.
So, it's hard to just go, well, let me just start paying you a substantially amount a lot more money. Let's do it.
Let's go all the way. Let's go for broke. Um, I'm not saying it's right or wrong, but this whole sending everything to China and India and it's added up to it, man. It's um, it's all I really want to say about that one. Tricky. It's all I'm trying to say.
>> And so, that's kind of how they did it.
Number one, they just kept selling us the Hollywood story over and over and over again. The happy ending. You're gonna get rich. Everything's going to be okay. Buy this. You'll feel good. They programmed sex and women and money, rock and roll, many cars.
Not even Hollywood though. Like I know a lot of you guys experienced this.
Not everybody's just poor. Grew up. I came from nothing. Most of us came from a decent background.
Parents made it just fine. It it was possible. It was very much real. It wasn't just on your TV screen. Um, it was a real thing even just 10 years ago.
I'm not talking way not that long ago, guys. Not that long ago.
Us from childhood. If you just work hard, everything will be good. Don't think outside that box. Number two, while we watch that movie, they changed the rules underneath. 1970s and 80s, they eliminated pensions. 1980s and 90s productivity went up like 70% but wages stagnated. The difference went to shareholders instead. 1990s to 2000s full-time jobs with benefits and pensions became contract work with nothing. I still can't believe people have pensions, dude. man.
Classic >> 2000s to 2010s, they financialized housing. No longer were you competing against other families. You were competing against Black Rockck and against corporations. Housing became an investment vehicle instead of a place to live. 2010s to 2020s, they turned everything into subscriptions, leases, rental. So now you rent everything, you don't own anything. Oh, and then co and the entire >> the lease subscription model was actually pretty genius if you think about it.
Like who doesn't want a brand new car, you know? Like who doesn't want the stuff?
Like you mean I don't have to make all that money before I can drive that kind of genius, dude.
Got to give it to him.
>> Her time, movies, TV shows, American dream, happy ending. You can get rich, you can be successful, anyone can do it.
Only the losers fail. And we were distracted. And that's the third part.
No, even the losers, dude.
Even the losers, they won too back then. You could be a full-blown hippie, dude.
You could be a hippie 10 years on a commune and go, "You know what? I'm ready for regular life." Bounce back on your feet. Not a problem. Not a problem.
No big deal.
Job interview. What have you done for the last 10 years? I was a hippie. Goes, "Fantastic. Welcome to the firm. Get on in there." Yeah. Cheryl's birthday. I know.
Everybody, welcome our new lady, Maria.
She was a hippie, but she's changed your ways and she's now your secretary, Bob.
Even I'm not saying if you were a hippie, you're a loser. I'm just making a point.
They kept us distracted and in debt.
When wages stagnated, they gave us credit cards and they said, "Fake it till you make it. Look the part. If you can't afford a house, lease a nice car.
If you can't afford a car, lease a luxury car. Yeah. And you felt isolated.
>> And it worked. Oh my god, it worked so well.
>> Man, they got us good, dude. They go, they're going to do it. Watch. Watch them all do it.
Yeah, we'll make them think they're happy till they're so underwater. No one's happy. Then we'll own everything.
Yeah, that's the best. It worked very well. He is on the money with that. They gave us social media with 500 friends so you could see how well everyone else was doing. When we got a little bit angry, then they gave us Netflix, endless movies at the click of a button. So watch and shut up. Don't think, don't organize, don't resist, just watch. They kept the Hollywood ending on the screen while our lives slowly became more nightmarish. And then we blame and what's even worse, right? Like this dude's got a YouTube channel living out in Baja. He's making some money off this. I'm subscribed to him. Give him a like. You know what I mean? Subscribe here if you want or don't. I don't care.
You can't afford to hit a button. I get it. That's rough out here. Um you just don't care about your fellow man. Want him to succeed. I get it. I don't take it personal.
But then my whole point about that is like your everyday person who had no interest whatsoever in like I'm going to go film on camera are like, "Well, I guess I'm going to go talk about it because apparently I could make an extra two grand a month if I do this to a decent degree."
How wild is that? I think that's the most bizarre one. It's getting dental work. My dentist goes, "Jack, you think it's a good idea? Should I start a YouTube channel?"
I'm sitting there like this.
I'm going, "Uh-huh."
It's in my mouth.
I go, "I'm paying for all this work with it." I go, "I think it's a good idea."
Just something to consider. That's all.
I don't think it's because we all want to be I don't want to be famous. I just want to be a professional skateboarder with my life. That's it. That's all I ever wanted to do. But people thought I was funny. They like the way I talk. I guess I'm insightful a little bit. I like to have fun, but I also talk about serious stuff. I'm into it. That's why I'm doing this. And now it's a full-blown job. I'm at the mercy of numbers every day and Google and YouTube. Keep me afloat. But it's not just me. It's a lot of people doing the same thing. And and it's not like everybody wanted to just be on camera and be actors or be famous. Um, I just wanted to throw that out there. kind of blows my mind a little bit >> ourselves because they kept saying if you're not winning or succeeding then you're failing and it's your fault.
You're just not working hard enough. So you blame yourself and not the system.
>> And anyone else that blames the system, you call them weak. You say that they're losers. You say that they just haven't worked hard enough. They're just not smart enough. when in fact >> when in fact a lot of people aren't smart enough. A lot of people aren't very skilled. They're not um but that was kind of the moral of the thing I said earlier about the hippie and the commune and the loser who could also make it by fine with no real skill.
It was okay. You were going to make it.
You were going to be able to afford life. You didn't have to be a highly skilled individual or make Tik Toks for a living, you know.
Um, if that makes any sense. That's a big one. That That's like That's the Because you hear that a lot. Just get a skill. Just get a really good Not everybody's that great. Not everybody's that smart.
They're just not. And it's okay. Like I'm smart, but I can't build you a car.
Like I'm going to build you a house, but it'll be crooked. You know, like not everybody's got that.
>> You get my point? I'll shut up about that.
>> It's more like they just didn't have the right family or the right connections.
That's true.
>> Or the lack of morals to get ahead.
>> Okay, just to be specific here, I am not saying that all successful people are evil or that they do things that are that are wrong. I'm also not saying that people who are poor or whatever are not lazy.
>> I got to get me a hat like that, dude.
>> That's awesome.
>> And are not, you know, Gucci or that sort of thing. What I am saying is that our society is breaking down because there are a considerable amount of people at the top who are absolutely selfish and who are only thinking of profit and they're not thinking of the greater good of society. And that's why we are in this situation. Back to the rest of the video. So, here's where it gets interesting, and that is once you see the con, you can't unsee it. And that's when things change. And that's what's starting to change right now all the way to the top. Like he was saying with the uh who's your family, who do you know? That's more than true. Even on a small level, almost half of my jobs, and I've had a lot of jobs, were simply because I knew somebody.
They liked me on a small scale. Not my parents. Well, that too. That happened too.
Most like big deals, successful people where they talk about luck. It's true.
It's true.
It's It's the realest thing ever.
It's It's honestly kind of crazy actually like who you know now. You have to be willing to be good enough to go through with whatever you're going to make a deal with.
But I've been learning that a lot especially the past three years just because I know some people now I have to carry through if I get an opportunity but it's a real thing.
It's kind of bizarre. I'm not saying like just because you know someone big time you're just set for life. It's your dad maybe. But it is true. That's a real thing.
>> So instead of the middle class, which is dead, I'd like to call this new class the universal class. And that's because it doesn't depend on your income. It doesn't depend on your status. It doesn't depend on you owning a home. It just depends on you knowing the truth and knowing that that was a con job. But before I tell you what I think the universal class is, I got to tell you why most people won't be able to join it. And that's because if you've read any of my comments, you see that people are still watching the movie. They're still believing the con, still thinking, "If I just work harder, I'll get the promotion. I'll make the money. I'll get the success." So, let me ask you something. Are you still watching the movie? Are you still Yeah, I'm still watching the movie a little bit, but I'm not chasing like I'm not chasing the ultimate riches.
Like, I'm not trying to make a lot of money for vanity. You know what I mean?
I get what he's saying. But also, how many people would be willing to go live in the desert in an aerosream?
You know what I mean?
Um, in Baja Miak, you know how many people, um, we're institutionalized is a better word for that. Very institutionalized. And I'm one of those people, too. But I actually do want less.
I want less. Um, and I think we're all kind of victim of the more mentality.
Most of us at least. I don't want to say all of us, but a lot of us are. The more more and more it it just adds more stress. I actually just want less now.
And uh that's something me and my lady talk about. We want a decent home, you know, raise raise a kid or two in, but at what cost? You know, it's just not worth it. Could I afford a $4,000 a month mortgage? Sure. But is that going to stress the hell out of me?
Absolutely. I don't want it. I I can't do it. I can't. I can't. I can't. And I think a a lot of people think they can.
Um and a lot of people got to learn the hard way. But I would say most of us are in institutionalized.
Um and also, would we be willing to do what this gentleman's doing? I would say majority of us, no. I would say no. But I think a lot of people are going to be forced to go, well, I can live with a little less. That means I'm not going to go crazy over money, financial stress. That's the worst. Still believing the con job. Are you still believing the Hollywood ending is still possible if you just work harder? Or are you ready to admit they lied? The dream they sold us doesn't exist, and we need to create something new because your answer to that question really determines everything. Or maybe you think I'm full of If you do, put it in the comments and tell me why. Cuz just saying I'm >> I'm gonna leave the rest of this video for you to go see. But I'm going to go ahead and say I don't think he's full of it. It looks like he's literally doing it. Unless this is all just a stage and it's a prop just to make some money on YouTube, which could be a thing. But I'm going to go ahead and say I don't I don't think he's I don't think he's fibbing. Just look at the guy. I don't think he's kidding around. I'll leave the rest of that for you guys to check him out. I'm subscribed to him. has got a bunch of good good content. Uh, work till 75 is correct. The problem uh with it is after 50 you will be out and no one wants to hire people over 50. Yeah, that's that's true. AISM is a big one.
They made healthc care a commodity, education a debt trap and the house speculation uh speculation market then told poverty is personal failing. They privatized survival and called it freedom. That's deep. That was real deep. They are doing controlled demolition of the economy. Yeah, none of that. I think this is kind of a great awakening to a degree, but people are still playing the game. Even me, I'm still trying to make money. You know, I'm being realistic about it. You know, I am. And I think for a while I might have most of us have fallen just keep going. It's going to go and you can't stress about that. You got to enjoy your life, you know? You can't what are we going to do? worry about it 247. I don't want to worry about life all the time and just be doom and gloom. That's one thing we don't do over here. Okay. I still think it's more than possible to live a decent life. Okay.
Um but I just do it with a little less and I'm not expecting the most if that makes any sense. Uh let me see. America is nothing but a big Ponzi scheme ever since 1913 Federal Reserve Act. Yeah, it's all built on debt. I mean, that's just what it is. If there was no credit, we'd it would be Cuba. I stand by that. We'd be we'd all be in Baja right now. They even legalize marijuana to keep you off the edge.
I'll leave the link to him down below, but I would say most people still you still shoot for it. And I recommend you try and make a bunch of money, but uh not for the extra stuff, though.
That's how I look at life. I go, I'm still going to try, but I don't need the extra stuff. And I like stuff, guys. I I I really do. I I really like stuff. Um and that's something I've had to realize about about myself is I like things as much as the next person. And um I've kind of made a commitment to myself where I go, "No more things. Getting rid of stuff.
We're down. We're downgrading."
Um in the stuff category. Like dude, I have like five cameras. Hold on. Look behind me. This is a whole another setup.
I had a I had all this extra. This is all extra. This stuff I'm using here as a standing desk. I was just tired of sitting down. I'm like, I got to get up a little bit. I got a window here. I'm like, but that's how much stuff I have. It's like I don't need all this stuff, dude.
This is like way too much. If I'm ever in a bind, I'll just sell it all. So, that that's a good that's good. Have some stuff to liquidate. But yeah, I'm kind of good on the stuff. And even me and my lady, we kind of um I think she still has that as well, like the success thing. And um we could fall for it kind of over and over again. Um so I commend this guy. I don't think most people are just going to like live out in the desert like this. Maybe they will. Um I know maybe I will one day. I thought about living on a boat before.
Like a like a like a yacht or something.
Not like a mega yacht, but just a big enough boat. No property taxes, just pirate pirating. Just being a pirate, you know, with some gold and you know, just kind of traveling. I've thought about it. Um I have even when I'm doing here, I go, "What the hell am I doing here?" Go, "What am I doing?"
Seriously, I go, "What am I doing?" Um and it's something I've really been thinking about lately. And I just post videos every day. That's my job. I go, I just got to make some money. Got to work. Um I enjoy what I do, but I also think about why. Why am I doing it?
What's the long-term effect? What? What?
Where am I going?
What are we doing? Anyways, hell of a talk. Shout out to everybody who's, you know, whatever. I love you. Have a enjoy your day today. Just go have some fun, okay? It's all good. Unreal.
