[00:00:00]I I'm not sure if it surprises you, but some of the Chinese youth are yearning for more public space where they can mingle around with other races.

[00:00:09]But, they want it in a sense that it is comfortable for everyone. Mhm.

[00:00:12]>> It's not forcing like, "Oh, I want to abolish that. I want to force you to do that." No. They want it to be a natural process where everyone can just integrate together. Okay. And it might take time. Yeah. There's another finding. And one more finding is that about China factor. Uh because we can see uh the China influence, be it the soft power perspective. Uh they are gaining more momentum in Southeast Asia and even Malaysia. And so, before we carry out the uh the field works, we assumed that there's some sort of uh identity shifting. I'm sorry to say that, but maybe identity being influenced by it or something.

[00:00:53]Throughout all our findings, we see that the Chinese youth in Malaysia are very rooted rooted in Malaysian identity. Not at all Not at once they think themselves as other people. Just Malaysian.
