This video argues that 'forever wars'—ongoing military conflicts that are never meant to be won—create significant economic burdens on domestic populations through mechanisms like rising gas prices, agricultural supply disruptions, and increased costs for essential goods such as groceries and medication. The content explains that these wars are not merely foreign policy issues but directly affect working-class citizens through permanent price increases and resource allocation, with the war state being woven into every aspect of society and economy. The video emphasizes that domestic and foreign policy serve the same interests, meaning that fighting against corruption and violence at home requires also fighting against the forever wars overseas.

Forever wars are against you Gas prices are #breakingnewsinkannada #stitchHinzugefügt:
If high gas prices upset you, remember it's a small price to pay to stop a nuke that didn't exist and to reopen a strait that was already open. You know I have to sound like a broken record by now, but every forever war we've fought since Vietnam has not just been an immoral war against some poor country or people in the global south for resources and strategic dominance. They've also been wars against you. These gas prices that everybody is concerned about are the absolute tip of the iceberg when it comes to how this new war, which we were promised wouldn't happen by Trump, is affecting working class Americans. It always comes back home. Not just gas prices, fertilizers or nitrogen for this planting season. Agricultural supply will shrink, grocery prices will go up, and once they go up, they never never go back down. Also, three Amazon AWS data centers got hit in the Gulf last month.
Now the tech billionaires are concerned about domestic terrorism against their investments, and they need these data centers to go in for national security purposes, so they're going to bulldoze straight through any resistance from local governments. Anytime some rich politician or captain of industry claims national security, they're on a grift to plunder your tax money land and to raise prices from everything to groceries to medication. The war state is woven into every aspect of our society and economy, and we don't realize it, a lot of us don't, because out of the 250 years of the USA's existence, we've been at peace for less than 20. In the modern era, the wars are not meant to be won. The war with Iran cannot be won. They're meant to last as long as possible and to make as much money as possible for a select few. The Trump family and associated oligarchs behind the scenes, for instance, while the rest of us are impoverished and our civil liberties are stripped away under the pretext of, you guessed it, national security. You want to fight against the corruption and lawlessness and violence against our own communities here at home?
A lot of it begins by fighting against the forever wars overseas. This is our contract between all of us going forward.
There is no distance between the war state abroad and the war state at home.
There is no I don't pay attention to geo or to foreign policy, cuz it's the same thing. Domestic policy, the same interests that are screwing you are the ones pushing for these wars. Can we just all agree on this demonstrable baseline fact?
