Pathologist report: Rachel Wandeto succumbed to 85 percent burns after Mwiki attack

[00:00:00]Rachel Wendettto died from severe burn injuries following a brutal attack in Nairobi's Muiki area. The autopsy conducted by chief government pathologist Dr. Johansen Odoir revealed that Wandetto suffered 85% burns and later died while receiving treatment at the Kenyata National Hospital. Forensic experts have also collected DNA samples to help investigators identify those responsible and also establish whether the singer may have been sexually assaulted. Samira Muhammad reports.

[00:00:42]An autopsy on the body of gospel singer RTO Money Wandto has confirmed that she died from severe burn injuries. Our autopsy findings were just what we saw.

Hansen further revealed that the forensic teams conducting the autopsy collected DNA samples to assist investigators in identifying the perpetrators and determine whether the deceased had been sexually assaulted before being set on fire.
