Who Will Win FIFA 2026? AI Simulates Spain vs Argentina
Added:Who is going to win the FIFA 26 World Cup? Yeah, the answer is a pretty tough one. The World Cup match is going to be tomorrow. It's between Spain and Argentina and we don't yet know who is going to be the winner. So, what I've done, I asked AI to give me the answer.
I use Cloud Fabble 5, one of the most exciting and powerful AI tool that we have in our hands right now. But I didn't just ask with a prom. I asked to create a 3D simulation of this match using a Minecraft style version of this match. So I asked with a simple prompt to regenerate the match, the stadium, the player, and give the player some uh rules to play football. And after a couple of hours of working and fine-tuning the results, we are going to watch together the results and see according to this AI tool which team is about to win the World Cup. Hopefully the results is not going to be that different from what is predicted by AI.
And I hope it's not going to make you mad. We still have time to wait and see who is going to be the winner tomorrow.
So let's go and see what I've done so far for this experiment. I wanted to see whether Clo Fable 5 could create a complete football simulator from a single initial prompt. And because this was a fairly ambitious project, I used Altra Code to squeeze as much performance as possible from this top model. The goal was not simply to create a football animation. I wanted Clo to build an actual autonomous match that I could watch unfold inside a Minecraft style stadium. My prompt asked Lo to simulate the 2026 FIFA World Cup final between Spain and Argentina directly in the browser. Rather than controlling one of the players, I wanted to experience the match as a spectator. I should be able to move the camera around the stadium, choose different viewing angles, and watch the two teams play entirely by themselves. CL therefore needed to create the stadium, the pitch, the crowd, and the overall match atmosphere using block style graphics.
It also had to research the likely squads, including the players names, shirt numbers, positions, team colors, and some of their key characteristics.
But the difficult part was giving every player enough intelligence to behave like a footballer. They needed to understand when to pass, shoot, dribble, tackle, or move into space. The goalkeepers needed their own behavior, and even the referee had to follow the action, identify fouls, award free kicks and penalties, show cards, and organize restarts. On top of that, the simulator needed a scoreboard, a match clock, and basic statistics covering goals, files, and the main events of the match.
Everything had to run inside one self-contained HTML page using JavaScript and the 3JS. I also asked Clo to test the application, identify obvious gameplay and camera problems, fix browser errors, and confirm that the simulator was working before finishing.
Once I submitted the prompt, Claude began thinking about how to approach the task. Instead of trying to do everything through one enormous process, it created six specialized agents. Two agents concentrated on researching the teams.
One investigated Spain and produced a likely 4231 starting lineup complete with shirt numbers, positions, and player ratings. Another researched Argentina and created a 442 system with Messi operating in a freer role and Paredes providing more defensive balance. A third agent focused entirely on the visual details of the kits. It researched the colors for both teams, including the goalkeeper uniforms with Unai Simon in purple and Aiano Martinez in green. It even researched the black and gold referee kit for the final.
Another agent looked at the wider context of the match. These included the venue, the expected kickoff time, the referee, and possible tournament story lines that could appear as headlines on the stadium's jumbotron. Clo then created two additional agents whose job was not to generate more information but to challenge what the first agents had found. One carefully checked the Spanish squad against official sources and corrected some of the short numbers. The other did the same for Argentina and carried out the deepest investigation of the group using 18 separate tool calls.
These agents were doing a significant amount of work. Most of them used between around 40,000 and 58,000 tokens with each research process taking roughly one or two minutes. Once the first version was working, I continue developing the experience through several shorter follow-up prompts. I asked Lo to create a proper opening ceremony with both teams standing in position while the national anthems played. I also wanted the match to end with the winning team lifting the World Cup. I also asked it to improve the stadium architecture so that it looked more like the real venue rather than a generic blockbuilt arena. At the same time, I wanted the supporters to look more like human Minecraft characters rather than simple color blocks filling the stands. Finally, I expanded the trophy celebration. Instead of the winning players lifting the cup directly on the pitch, I asked Load to create a proper presentation stage. The winning team had to climb onto the stage and raise the trophy together while the losing team remained on the field exhausted and disappointed watching the celebration from a distance. Okay, this is how the application look like and don't want to waste time reading around this panel. Let's start and see what we get out of it.
So, wow, there is also some audio in the background.
I might reduce later on the audio when I'm talking.
And there's the stage of the Hampton Spain.
[music] I don't actually know if it's the replica of the original one. If you know, please let us know in the comments below. Time of Argentina.
[music] Wow, pretty emotional time here with those Minecraft characters. They seems all serious and ready to start. I can see here that there are different button on the I can use to change the visualization. Here are even the numbers that I can use. And here there is also menu that is telling us what's going on.

So you can see that the player seems to do a pretty cool job. It's Argentina try to score the first one. No, not happening. Spain is capable to bounce back. I'm going to start playing with this uh numbers and see if I can change the visualization.
Let's click it here on the and see by using different numbers. Yes, I can actually change the visualization from different parts.
Ah, by the way, Spain just scored. It's it's the first goal of the match. Well done to Spain. And I'm going to try to play again with the numbers. Yes, this is the orbit one. I have also the label here that is telling me this is the aerial view and we have goal view.
Pretty nice if someone is trying to score on this side. And I'm going to try again to go to the free one and see what I can do. Sorry for making a bit of a mess for you to watch.
Wow. You can see also that we have a nice visualization from outside the stadium. So, let's go and put it back to the TV.
and see what happened. We have also the possibility to speed up the match. You can see that now we are although going with one speed it's not actually replicating the actual time otherwise it would have taken so long to finish this match. I'm gonna press on uh two three and see if we can speed up even more.
Wow, we can arrive to eight.
I'm really curious to see what happen at the middle if the team are going to start swapping the field sides.
It seems that the simulation is pretty cool. I don't know if you noticed that.
Let me zoom. The ball is actually a cube, but still start behaving like a a sphere.
And I like also the fact that there are penalties. People might get uh uh tackled by other teams. So it seems that Spain is pretty aggressive in this part.
And here you can see that we have also the statistics that they are live. It seems that at this stage Argentina is having much more possession of the ball and you can see all the other statistics here. Pretty cool. Here we have a bit of a mess of too many players on the on the ball. And to be honest, I'm not sure if the tactics that we see in this simulation are pretty close to the real one because I'm not a really expert in football. So probably you are more qualified than me to tell me if the simulation is pretty realistic. So it seems that they are changing field. Ah that's that's a that's an error that we can already spot. It seems that they don't wait for all the players to go in their half of the field.
It starts straight away. But yeah, it's something that can be easily fixed.
Ah, there was a penalty and Argentina is going back. So, we have 1-1. It seems that we might get another goal from Spain. And there you are. Spain is scoring again. So, I'm sorry, Argentina.
It seems that it's not your day. Let's see and speed up. See all the match proceed.
Probably eight is too fast. Let's oops.
Let's go and put it to four and slow down when we reaching the final stage of the match. So, let's see if Argent a even substitution. Wow, we have player getting in and out. Let's let's see. Oh, Spain is really leading this one.
So, let's see if Argentina can bounce back. It seems that Whoa, another one over of Spain and Argentina seems to be doomed. Let's slow down.
We are at the last minutes and doesn't seems that there is any hope left because Spain did the fifth one. And wow, I'm so sorry for Argentina and Messi, but it seems it's not their day, at least here in my simulation.
Wow, that's pretty rough. And there is still a chance for Argentina to save their pride with the second goal. Let's see if in Wow. And the match is over.
Ouch.
You can see the cool football player Argentina on the floor. And wow, this is the stage. And you can see Spain is going on the stage. The ball is there right in front of us. And let's see if someone is going to bring the trophy. Ah, I know that guy. That's President Donald Trump. Oh my goodness.
and he's going to go and give the trophy to I guess one of the player.
Let's see what else we can get here.
You can see that the trophy is there in the Spain hands and they are celebrating and you can see the full stadium even fireworks.
Wow. Everyone is celebrating this grand finale for Spain. Epic victory 51.
And you can see the poor Argentina football players. One of them is close to the referee. Oh, is the goalkeeper. It's pretty sad for them, but pretty exciting. And Trump's day on the stage, man. Get out. It's not your victory.
Oh, wow. That was pretty intense stimulation and well done to Claude for such emotional game. I didn't expect these results happening. I hope no one is going to get mad for what Claude has been predicted. And if you enjoyed this uh video, I hope you don't mind pressing like and subscribe and stay in touch with us. And see you to the next match or video. Bye.
