Governor Otti Says Abia’s Debt Reduced by 60%, State Ranks Among Top in Fiscal Transparency

[00:00:00]Uh, debt profile we have been able to reduce it significantly uh, by about 60% from about 191 billion in 2023 to less than 50 billion at the end of 2025.

[00:00:27]Our government has also been positively ranked particularly in areas of fiscal sustainability transparency and accountability.

[00:00:45]Budgit's state of the states report moved Abia from number 17 two years ago in 2023 to number four last year 2025.

[00:01:10]And um it just gives you an idea of how the government is being run.

[00:01:18]And you also expect a lot of pushback from people who dependent who depended on uh, primitive accumulation.
