In fact, I don't even understand why all the Nigerian exchanges have not thought of this idea since like every time I go on an exchange, I'm seeing US.

[00:00:35]Why is the base pay for all of these assets not in Naira? Why are these things not priced in Naira?

[00:00:46]All right. So, my name is Sami. Um I'm the founder SMC DA. SMC is an ecosystem that started in 2022. uh we have been building consistently. Um if you go all the way back you would see that we have been building consistently. Now the reason for um stable NRA um straight to the question the reason for stable error was because I believe um where we are going we need to take control of the stable layer of our ecosystem. All right. Um I'm a very I'm a deeply spiritual man. So, um I've I've I've gotten impressions. Um I've gotten signals, you know, and I I trust me, I don't just go ahead and launch a project if I did not feel like, okay, um God was pushing me in this direction. And I'll explain if if you know my community very well, um the ecosystem very well, you know that the community is made up of a lot of believers. And if anything, I know that um um the whole purpose of this whole community is get towards God's wealth transfer agenda. And in doing so, we need to know that beyond just making money um based on the leading of God and everything that God has been telling us with wiki cards and you know and and every other token in the ecosystem. It's important that we are able to preserve what we have made and we are able to use that wealth. Now the whole reason for stable naira is because I needed a stable layer where whatever money that has been made in the ecosystem and this is um most people think that stable nara is just for Nigerians no it's supposed to be a stable token where you can actually pack your wealth inside over time you will come to understand that um we would veer off the official rate of the naira and will balance it by our own selves because I believe that SMC is an ecosystem on its own and from What I know is that we are called to nations.

[00:02:37]So it's just it's just the fact that okay I'm a Nigerian so I just picked stable na but the truth is that it's going to be a stable coin that we will detect the rate by ourel and we would do this based on what we feel is right. Now the whole idea of a stable coin is that um it doesn't move up and down in value.

[00:02:54]So what that means is that it stays consistent. So um for example typically how did I come into the crypto space? I I bought um I bought $500 worth of um um what's it called? Of um Ethereum. I used that Ethereum to buy Sheiba. And when I made a lot of money, I swapped back into USDT. Now, when I swapped back into USDT, there was no way for it to go up or come down. So, I was able to preserve the value of the $500,000 I made. Now, now the the only issue was that that $500,000 I made in USDT, I couldn't spend it. I couldn't go to like a coffee shop in Nigeria or I couldn't buy a land with it because I was trying to understand how do I spend this US. So the whole reason for stable na is is such that first of all it preserves the value of everything that we've made from the wealth transfer and secondly that money is we are able to spend that money to do the things that matters because what you are seeing online is just a part one of the entire wealth transfer agenda. It's going to go beyond that.

[00:03:53]It's going to go into the physical economy. you know, we are going to see believers build a lot of things that would that would will be the next step in the new economy that is going to happen to this country. So, stable narrow is part of that strategy of transferring wealth from, you know, from where it's supposed to transfer wealth to into the economy. So, that's it basically. Let's pick um Will Mercillians or let's pick someone like S benefit, right? Uh and let's just say he makes let's say $500,000 from Wikiat. He swaps that $100,000 into stable NRA which is about say a billion NRA right um right away he wants to buy like um a house let's say for 300 million 400 million NRA it's very difficult to go and meet somebody and tell the person okay I want to I want to give you $200,000 worth of US and buy this house many people especially um outside of Lagos will not agree to that deal nobody knows what US is right so part of what I want to do with stable narrow is that beyond just being a stable coin I want it to be spendable in the Nigerian economy. I want people to be able to use it to do crossber payments. I want people to use it to pay for stuff online. I want it to be like a real currency. So that's that's what I'm working towards with stable nar. So what you're seeing right now is just little expressions of what the future will look like for stable nara. So basic so basically um what uh what stable nar is supposed to do is supposed to help Nigerians abroad send money back to um the country. Um even if you're not a Nigerian, you want to pay for let's say a Nigerian talent. Um, let's just say you you hire a Nigerian developer, you want to pay for the talent. Even if let's say you're not a Nigerian and you want to save your money and you're looking at um you pick the Nigerian ner, right? You can actually convert all your of all all of your cash in. I mean, I'm a Nigerian, but I'm using dollars. I'm using US to like transact in the blockchain. Why can't I use my Nigerian NRA to transact on the blockchain, right? And then what stable does is that we make it so easy for you to actually stable eliminates the need for P2P. So the whole P2P market that exists between USD and the real NRA will not exist with stable NRA. With your SNR wallet, you just go on there if you want stable NRA, convert your real NRA into like stable NRA, go on chain when you've made a lot of money or whatever the case is. You bring it back again to SNR and you put it back in your bank account. So it's going to be like a very seamless process. Everybody gets to mint and burn SNR. Not like that, not like a USD that in fact right now if I want to if I want to if I want to say if I want to buy $30 million worth of US I don't know how to buy $30 million worth of USD. If I want to buy into Bitcoin, if I'm a Nigerian or let's just say let's just say if I'm a Ghanaian, Nigerian, whatever the case is, and I want to buy USDT or I want to buy USDC $40 million, even a billion worth of USD, I don't know how to buy it. So with stable narrow would make it so easy for you to come in and out of the blockchain no matter the amount you're coming in with. Trust me it's harder to convince Nigerians. Um I see I've gone across different churches different places. I've taught people crypto um just a states Lagos calaba Abuja. I can tell you for a fact that it's harder to tell somebody that you have to buy US. Um if somebody can relate to the fact that okay I have to buy Naira first and with this Naira I can buy any coin on the blockchain. It's easier for them. So part of why I actually need to launch table now is because um if I go around teaching people about or if I go around on boarding people about cryptocurrency, it's easier for me to say, okay, you have this 5,000 NRA in your bank account. Do you know you can convert this 5,000 NRA to 5,000 NRA worth of blockchain naira. So with the blockchain naira, you can use this 5,000 NRA to and every asset will be priced in Naira. For example, now you can know that okay, Wikat is 7 N apparently. Wikat is 8 N for one piece. It's easier. We are 200 million Nigerians, right? But imagine every Nigerian trying to come come into Wikat they're having to calculate the exchange rate which might actually go up or come down at any given point. In fact I don't even understand why all the Nigerian exchanges have not thought of this idea since like every time I go on an exchange I'm seeing USD US why is the base pay best base pay for for all of these assets not in Naira? Why are these things not priced in Naira? You understand? In fact, the reason why and I'll say this and I'll say this, the reason why the Nigerian ecosystem as as as robust as it is, as promising as it is, we are still very backwards is because of the exchanges is because of because of every wallet and exchange, everybody does comes into the ecosystem because they see that every exchange is doing USD. Everybody wants to do USD, right? Imagine we start pricing our assets in Naira. You understand? Imagine imagine that um everything you want to pay for every coin you want to pay for you can already tell okay this is the price I bought it in naira 5 naira it went to 20 naira I made profit of 15 naira I withdrew the profit of 15 naira into my and I can spend this 15 naira like that's the that's the whole goal of SNR like so even when we are going to launch our global exchange which we are going to do very soon whether you are whether you are Italian whether you are Thailand whatever the case is you would be able to see all the prices in Naira and buy things in Naira as as in Nigeria, part of my responsibility is making sure that the currency is strong.

[00:09:03]So, um I would I would want to see non- Nigerians buy into the Naira. Like I that's that's my if that's the only thing I can do as a Nigerian and say, okay, I played my part as a Nigerian, then I will do it well. You get? And so for the road map um the first thing you want to do is you want to make sure that SNR is available on all chains right because the crypto is the crypto is very disfragmented like you have people on solar we have people on base so what you want to do is that okay if I can transfer one SNR from BNB chain to base chain to Ethereum chain and and it retains one SNR you know so that's the reason for a cross transfer protocol it's supposed to help you transfer so when you come on that wallet you can actually choose to mint and burn you can choose to mint in BMBB and burn in in base you can choose all of this is gasless you know just like we do for penny wallet so you can choose to you know mint and burn across so that will be the f very first things on our road map um when we launched we launched with BNB based and ethereum but we had to disable B and Ethereum because we wanted to make sure that we gain traction first with BNB so that was what happened but over time we would enable B I've already hired two B engineers that would um lead that process from there we now enable um Ethereum and then we now add other blockchains. Once we've added other blockchains, the next thing we want to do is that we want to um um start the process of um um complying with the the federal government on when it comes to like u because if you don't comply with the federal government obviously you cannot push it as much as you want to push it. If you go to banks, banks will tell you that oh um government has told us not to touch crypto and all that stuff. So but the way we've designed stable now from the beginning is going to be very compliant. That's the reason for the SNR wallet. So when you when you have your SNR wallet, you can already register your BVN, your NIN just like you're doing with penit already and with that we can see everybody that is maintained and burning and so we've tackled the compliance layer for users.

[00:11:31]Now the compliance layer for um we are going to also build the compliance layer for government such that any agency EFCC um um CBN can just log into their portal and if they choose to freeze any account the person that is using an SNR wallet can see that okay you have a freeze order EFCC froze your account this is the this is the person that that did the freezing this is where you're supposed to show up to and um and um and um explain what happened with this. So we are going to design a full compliance t for both the government and we're going to design a full compliance t for even the users. The users can even appeal and before and we will make sure that before a government can freeze your SNR they have to submit a court order which will be on the blockchain so everyone can see that okay this this is what happened. So that's the that's the way I feel like um every stable coin should be designed. Um it should not be too decentralized such that it can cause chaos for the economy.

[00:12:22]it should not be too centralized such that um the freedom that comes with the blockchain is not being um practiced. So that's basically what we want to do as regards that. So I've mentioned um um multi multi- chain. I've mentioned um um compliance layer um also what we want to do is also is um distribution. So we want to make sure that we integrated with um the Nigerian interbank system, the one that is in charge of the switching layer that switches between different banks. I want to make sure that we we integrated with pay. So for example, if you want to make payments, let's say on your child deck or your Netflix or whatever the case is, you can you have the option to pay with SNR will be there to as well too.
