Could blockchain become invisible financial infrastructure?

[00:00:00]Seems we're at a point where people can't ignore it and have a choice to make. You know, do they be the kind of bookstore that goes out of business when Amazon comes along and embraces the internet and all the features that it brings?

[00:00:10]>> Do you think distributed ledger technology is on a similar trajectory?

[00:00:13]You know, do you see Stellar being used in an everyday kind of fashion akin to some of the protocols that enable the internet?

[00:00:19]>> I absolutely do and I think that it's a it will be different in different contexts. So, that's sort of the exciting part to me. So, there already are lots of people who are using this technology and they're interacting with it directly. They have access. They don't have to go through a gatekeeper, some sort of financial institution to send funds across borders to and we see that in you know, whether it's delivering aid in Ukraine to getting money into conflict areas to moving money across island nations where instead of putting bags of cash on a boat, which literally is still happening. On the other end of the spectrum, you have the you know, State Street and Soc Gen and Franklin Templeton and all of these bigger institutions that are integrating this both into their treasuries but into their settlement systems. And so, on on that end of the spectrum, I think there will be a lot of people who are using blockchain and DLT and they may not even know it.
