This video demonstrates how to identify cryptocurrency scams by analyzing a fake BTC miner website (btcgenio.online) that promises free Bitcoin rewards. The investigation reveals multiple red flags: the YouTuber showing proof of payment uses an edited wallet address that doesn't match the claimed balance, the platform requires users to deposit $123 and provide their mnemonic phrase (secret phrase) for 'verification,' and the entire process appears robotic with edited images. The core lesson is that any platform asking for your mnemonic phrase or seed phrase is a scam, as this phrase is the master key to your wallet and anyone who possesses it can steal your funds. Legitimate platforms never require users to share their secret phrases.

This BTC Miner Btcgenio Says You Can Get 0.26 Bitcoin… Legit?? (I Tried It!)Hinzugefügt:
So, while I was browsing on YouTube, I came across this particular website being advertised by a YouTuber saying or claiming that it's going to give you this amount of BTC for free. 0.26 BTC. And it claims that this is actually a Bitcoin mining website. And all you just got to do be to put your wallet address and you're going to get the Bitcoin for free. And today, we're going to be talking about it. Is this actually legit or is this scam? Take notes, this is the YouTuber that posted it where he also shared his about $18,000 in Bitcoin payment proof from the website. So, if you're interested, then you're at the right studio.
He actually got started by introducing what the platform is all about. And at the beginning of the video, you can already see that he is exposing his wallet address. So, there must be some reason why he is actually exposing this wallet address. But, you can notice that in his account, he got about $123. And that's the amount that they asked you to put in your wallet if you want to get started. So, he enters his wallet address. He enters his email address. He enters his mnemonic or his secret phrase. And he put all of these informations.
So, when he's done, he clicked on processing and he waited for the payment. So, it said successful. And then, he is now telling us that we're going to wait and we're going to see the payment. So, this is all he did.
After it was completely loaded up, he went over to his wallet. He reloaded his wallet. And the key, the payment actually came in. The $18,000 actually came in. So, yes, they want you to have about $123 in your wallet at the same time you're going to get back $18,000 for mining. So, let's see. If you find the video that you're watching right now useful, then you can support the channel by subscribing to eat.
I would also appreciate if you can turn on the notification bell to all. This way, whenever I post a video, you're going to get a notification of it. You can support the video further by liking and also dropping a comment if you have any question.
Here we can confirm for a fact that they want you to have the over $100 in your wallets. They want you to enter your wallet address, your email address, your mnemonic. And yeah, you just have to click on each then you're going to receive. Let's say your wallet must contain at least this amount to proceed.
This balance will not be removed or deducted from your account. It is purely used as a verification measure to block bot abuse. This guarantee is safe and efficient generation process. Failing to meet this requirement will stop the entire process. So, this is the section where you put your wallet address, your email address, your mnemonic. And you have to select your country, you have to select a pool. Whatever pool you select right here is going to give you the address. Then you have to tell them which wallet you're using. Then you can generate and according to them, they are going to pay you this amount of Bitcoin.
So, is this real or is this fake? This is a big scam. And I believe by now you should know already that this is a big scam. First of all, he is just showing us his wallet without even having to cover up anything. And that's because when you copy out this wallet address, the wallet address he's busy advertising, it takes you to this particular wallet that has nothing in his account. But this particular wallet has actually transacted about $1.4 million. So, this is not his wallet. I was able to go to the period of time where he claimed to have gotten paid, and there was no proof that he had only $123.
The wallet at that time had about 500 and something thousand dollars. So, that is not his wallet. Everything is edited.
This is not his wallet. He just copied a wallet address. Because, of course, on the blockchain you would be able to see different addresses that are transacting at a period of time. So, it is easy to copy it out and claim that it is your wallet. Number two, if you can watch the video carefully, you would notice that nothing is loading up. Everything is just so robotic, and the only time it is like this is because it is a picture.
They are all using edited pictures to form a video. So, when they went over to the wallet, clicked on to reload, and all, everything has been edited. So, it is not smooth at all. And then, the big proof that it is a scam is that number one, they ask you to have $123 in your account. This is the money that they're going to steal. They want you to put that money in your account because whenever you give anyone your new money, it is either 12 phrases or 24 phrases.
Whenever you give it to anyone, they would log into your wallet. He also asked you for the particular wallets that you use or you're using so that he doesn't have to come across any issue, and he will be able to use that exact same wallet to be able to log in your account. Let's proof. This is my wallet, and I'll click on to add wallet. So, look at this. When you want to add an existing wallet, what does it ask you for? The secret phrase, also known as the new money. And guess what? It says, "Check your secret phrase is safe." It says, only you know this secret phrase.
This secret phrase was not given to you by anyone. Example, a company representative. If someone else has it or has seen it, they can and will steal your funds. It's not just fact that they can, they will steal your funds. So, every wallet is always going to warn you and make sure you agree to all of these before even using a secret phrase or whatever. So, I'm just going to click here and boom. All you just got to do is to put secret phrase and you can enter.
They are 12-word secret phrase or 18 or 24. So, once you put it, you can access the wallet. So, yeah, they want to steal your funds. So, if you give them, then they are going to steal it. This particular scammer did not care and he actually showed us his secret phrase. Except that that wallet is an empty wallet and the wallet is a scam wallet. The platform is a scam and fake platform. It is not just about the name, but any platform that you see similar to these, asking for similar informations and so on, is a scam and you should stay away from it. Thank you for watching.
