When investigating suspicious missing person cases, law enforcement must carefully analyze timelines, physical evidence, and behavioral patterns to determine whether foul play is involved. Key indicators include inconsistent reporting, delayed police reports, unusual circumstances like a missing person being found in an area they would not normally visit, and discrepancies in witness accounts. The case of Elena Moore demonstrates how investigators must consider multiple factors including mental health history, relationship dynamics, and potential domestic violence before reaching conclusions about cause of death.

Elena Moore: She Said She Was Scared… Then A Body Was Found
Added:Hello everyone. Thank you so much for joining me tonight. We are covering and following the tragic development case out of Lexington, South Carolina. A case that began as a search for a missing woman and has now turned into an death investigation by SLED. Uh her name is Elena Moore and Elena was 39 years old, a personal trainer, and according to police, she was last known to have signed in at Planist Fitness on Whiteford Way at around 6:40 p.m. on June 11th. But hours later, investigators say new surveillance footage placed her at the public's parking lot on Old Cherokee Road at 9:17 p.m. And this is where the timeline becomes deeply concerning because after that 9:17 p.m. footage, Elena was not seen again publicly. Then came the search. Then came the tip for Elena that she was spotted.
and then sadly became the discovery that no one wanted. A body was found in a wooded area near Old Cherokee Road in North Lake Drive wearing clothing that matched Elena's last known description.
Now, Sled has uh been asked to handle the death investigation. And tonight, the questions are only getting louder.
What happened after Elena's left the Planet Fitness? And why was she walking through the public parking lot at 9:17 p.m.? Why was she walking near the road?
And why would it take it would take her more than 2 hours to get home walking?
What did the tipster know? Or what did they see? And what did the final footage capture at the beginning? Was it something much darker? Tonight, we're going to be going through all of this, everything that we know on the latest, the gym, the 917 footage, and the direction she was heading, the wooded area, the tip, the body found, and why Sled is investigating that matters. We have a lot to talk about on the other side of this. I've walked through storms and scars and grace.
Smile through pain with a painted face.
They call me too loud, too much, too strong. But honey, that's the reason I belong. Every scars a scripture, every tears of him. I found my words where the light grew dim. They tried to break me, but here's a twist. As I turn my pain into a clench, I'm an unbreakable woman, born a fire, shine like grace in a reckless world.
You can test my face, my you can shake my pain, but I'll rise again.
Just watch me stand.
I've been whispered about and written off. Judge by the gloss, not the cause.
But God don't build weak hearts from gold. He made me fierce and he made me b. I pray I roll around with mascara and tears and battle cries. Don't need your crown. I for my own honey I will my sc my world.
You can tell my voice my voice. You hear my name.
I'm holy and I'm done with everyone called TOO MUCH, TOO LOUD, too real.
>> You're not anything.
>> YOU'RE EXACTLY WHAT POWER LOOKS LIKE.
I'm an unbable soul through the fight and flame. My scars a story my strength my faith in my heart in my >> Here we go.
>> Hold up. Hold up. Lights on, chat in the room, another late night. And another headline blooming. Coffee going cold, but the story got heated. And one little detail keep tapping my screen. Coming in clutch when the timeline bends. We don't just scroll. We connect loose end.
Somebody said, "No, that's probably enough." But the chat said Justin. And we're coming in clutch. Run that back.
Don't rush that part. Something fell wrong from the very first start.
Different day, same shaky excuse. And the math ain't nothing when we check the proof. I'm not here to play detective for fame. I'm here when the story starts changing names. One clip, one call, one post too much. And the whole room knows we're coming in clutch. Coming in clutch. Yeah, the facts stay loud. Tooth don't hide when we bring the crowd.
Screens lit up in the chat. Don't sleep.
We dig real deep. Where the stories get steep. Pearls in the chat, lights in the back. Somebody better explain why the story went flat. You can dodge one question, maybe dodge two, but the internet clock. What you said? Don't cue.
Say that again. And you said it was there and it wasn't back then. You said you forgot but the record got saved. Now the chest wide awake in the room just changed.
>> We're coming in clutch. When it all gets strange. When the facts get buried and the tone stars change. We don't need drama. The truth does enough. That's why they pull up. We're coming in clutch.
>> Late night crew. Yeah, we built this thing. One live stream turned to a whole damn ring. Members in green eyes holding it down. Whole chat moving like a small town crowd. No fake hype, no lazy spin.
Just one more clue and we're back again.
If it don't sit right, we don't let it slide. We put the detail right up on live.
>> Coming in clutch. Say it one more time.
Whole room locked on the very next line.
From the first red flag to the final touch, you know where to be. We're coming in clutch.
>> When the screen fades out and the night gets still, somebody somewhere knows truth comes real. We'll be right here.
When the next fact drop, coming in clutch and we don't just stop.
>> Hello, hello, hello everyone. Thank you so much for joining me. Really do appreciate your time. You could have chosen to be anywhere on YouTube. You have a lot of options anywhere on the internet, anywhere in the world, and you chose to be right here. And your time is very valuable, and I do appreciate you spending some time with me. Today is June 19th, 2026. It is currently 4:26 p.m.
in the east coast of the United States.
Happy June.
Good to see you all. Thank you guys so much for joining me tonight. We are talking about the case of 39year-old young beautiful Elena Moore whose body was sadly located deceased and in uh Lexington, South Carolina.
And truly this story could go any way, any direction as far as I'm concerned right now. It seems like Elena may have been having some mental health problems, but there's also some very weird things in this timeline that we just don't know yet. The uh she is scheduled for an autopsy, I believe, Saturday. That is what's being reported right now. But we have a lot to get into tonight. So guys, if you would be so so kind and please do me a big favor and hit that thumbs up button or double tap that screen if you're on the mobile feed. Um, also if you would share this live out, hit that share button, copy that link, drop it in any of your favorite social media. Um, also consider hyping this video if you uh you have to do it after the uh after the live stream and on your mobile device, your phone or your tablet. Good to see everyone in chat. Uh the delay in the autopsy is so weird. It's you usually they do it really quickly unless there's um a lot ahead, you know what I mean? So yeah, I I wondered why it was taking so long as well. Connie crew, how are you coming in collection of 12 months? Thank you. Good to see you. Really, really do appreciate you doing girl. I made it. God bless you, Justin, and all the pearls. God bless you, Miss Connie. Good to see you, my dear. Uh the No, she was I not at all. I don't think so. I see you. I think she she was very very health consscious. Um Linda B, she was a personal trainer, you know. Um good to see my friend Patty Bonnie open-minded. Maybe they will collect some foreign DNA underneath her fingernails. You never know. Uh Kimberly, good to see you. A few. Hello.
Hello, Bonibu. Good to see you, my friend. Susan, good to see you. Summer time, summer sweet tea. Hello. Good to see you, my friend. Patty Barbara sure does remind me of Micah Miller. Poor woman. Micah, you know, and I think something was up with Micah's story. Um, just my opinion, there's a lot of bodies in that story. Micah seemed like she was a little bit out of it, too. you know, when she she drove to this location, Micah did.
But in Lena's story, she was allegedly walking. And I still cannot understand why this car situation has me really thrown off. Sure does remind me of my mill. Poor woman. Uh, Mountain Cat, good to see you, my friend. Patty, hello. I see you. The queens in the house. Good to see you, my dear. Miss Yara, good to see you. Thank you so much. Not much uh being said on the other channels I follow. Oh, good to see you, baby. Um it does remind me of Micah Miller. Uh a lot of people say that heard autopsy person was on travel doing it tomorrow. Yes.
Yes, that today is Friday, tomorrow is Saturday, and that's when it's supposed to be scheduled. So that could be why.
Uh hope floats. Thank you so much my dear appreciation. How you doing girl?
Very appreciate that for the world.
I think his uh his band needs to be looked at.
What do you mean his band? His band.
Oh. Um.
No. I don't know what you mean, actually. All right, guys. We got a lot to go through today. Um, I'm going to try to keep this under 3 hours because I want to do another live stream tonight.
Um, so I hope I can. So, Ashley Banfield and Brian Inon, thank God, are talking about this as well. We're going to get to that um here in just a little bit. It really depend. Oh, the husband.
Sorry, I said husband. How did you Why did I read that like that?
Oh, you his band. Okay, that's what confused me. Husband. Gotcha. Sorry.
Okay. Was it me? Uh Justin, hope you're doing okay. Missed you last night. Yeah, I so I was I usually go live just about every day, but yesterday I was up late researching or well when I ended my live last yet day before yesterday I was up late researching and then I didn't go to bed till like 3:00 a.m. and then I woke up to tornado alarms at 6:00 a.m. and uh was up for several hours. It said, you know, seek shelter now. The radar spotted uh rotation and all of that. And so we got a big storm. We didn't get a tornado, but we got a big storm. Um and uh so we was up for a few hours for that. And then I laid back down.
And I never sleep. I don't usually require a lot of sleep. Yesterday I went I laid down at about 11:30 in the morning and I slept till 6:30 yesterday evening.
I can't even believe anybody let me sleep that late. Um, so I woke up and then um I was with Dr. Vana yesterday.
We were talking about McKenzie uh on her channel yesterday. So I live in Vermont.
We had two tornadoes yesterday. It was a bad outbreak yesterday. It really was.
So um yeah. Okay. So we got a lot to get to. Um, in this case it, you know, there are friends that are saying, you know, there was some mental health going on.
There's friends that are calling the husband out. Um, and this is the thing, which we don't know in this case, but both things can be true. Both things can be true.
Oh, Cindy, bless you, darling. Bless you. I hope you feel better.
I know all about that. Um, so I'm going to do a poll right now before we get into the the thick of it. What is your opinion on what may have happened? Do you think this is a mental health? Do you think this is foul play? Is this an accident? Or are you unsure at this? Put a one in the chat if you think mental health. Put a two in the chat if you think foul play. Put a three if you think it's accident or four unsure.
It could really go either way. There is no right or wrong answer. It's just an opinion. Uh right now, and this is the thing, both things can be true. Both things can be true as well. There could be, you know, she was suffering from mental because when you're suffering from mental health, you're more vulnerable as well, right?
But we we just don't know. There's just a lot of questions that I have related to the car.
So, um, I've got some footage of where she was found.
Now, one thing that makes me question some things is that uh, let me pop this up right here.
One thing that makes me question is where she was found.
Um, right off the highway.
Well, that's the thing. Justin, I heard she was found under a bridge. Did she jump? How high was the bridge? So, it's like a concrete wall and she was found right over it.
Right over it.
And that's it. Could be an accident.
Could be an accident, but it could also be something else. Right now, she was there for about five or six days, and that's a long time, but it, you know, it makes me wonder like what happened. So, let's look at this uh before we >> Cowboys get heartburn, but I don't >> One second here as we pop this up right here. Okay, here we go.
>> 39year-old Elena Moore is now over.
Authorities say a body found this afternoon is believed to be the Lexon woman who had been reported missing since late last week. News9's Taylor Richardson was there tonight as the police chief made the announcement.
>> Flowers can be seen on the side of the road where a body was found during the search.
>> Okay, so if you look right here, right?
Um, this is the thing that I have a question with. Right.
If she was walking along the road right here, why would you go over the guard guard rail? And you see this cement wall?
She was supposedly found right over it.
And it's about a 12t drop.
About a 12t drop. Was she out of her like not in her right space?
I don't know.
Or does someone know that area and threw her over there?
That's the question, right?
side of the road where a body was found during the search for 39year-old Elena Moore who went missing last Thursday.
>> This is something that has shocked and devastated the entire community. I met Elena when she was 18 years old. Just a bubbly, fun, outgoing personality kind of girl.
>> We all knew Elena as a strong woman.
>> Well, and that's the thing. That's the thing. I mean, can 12 feet kill you? You know, 10 or 12 feet, can it kill you?
Yeah, but it shouldn't.
Now, it could maybe break your legs to where you couldn't walk, but did she not have her cell phone?
She was a fitness trainer. She was the life of the party. She was so bubbly, always outgoing, always had a smile on her face.
>> Earlier today, officers focused their search in the woods near Lakeside Middle School after receiving a tip that Elena was seen walking into the woods behind the Walmart on Sunset Boulevard. That was the last known sighting of Moore before she was reported missing. At approximately 2:48 p.m., we found an identified body that fits the clothing description of our missing person.
>> Law enforcement is still waiting for an official confirmation from the coroner with an autopsy happening within days.
>> Let her legacy live. Keep her in the forefront. Um, don't forget her.
>> The death investigation remains ongoing by SLED. Reporting in Lexington, Taylor Richardson, News19 WLTX.
So um >> and tonight a cause of death has not yet been released. We are expecting additional details in the coming days.
>> So uh yeah. Yeah. A tip uh was sent in that they may have seen that they allegedly had seen her. Um so yeah. All right. She posted this on her husband's Facebook page. This is giving John Okay, someone writes this right here.
I'm just going to leave it this here.
Someone posted this on her husband's Facebook page. #findelena Moore. This is giving John Paul Miller vibes.
Narcissist abusive. Uh make it out like she is crazy with mental health disorders. Uh he hasn't shared a flyer made a post regarding her missing during an interview pleaded for help or help search. He is former law enforcement from my understanding a form for formerly discharged under dishonorable conditions. Now I want to say this is not me saying this. Um I don't know if that's true or not. None of these claims actually. He is currently a private investigator. He has friends in law enforcement and some have commented on his post. It has been reported he may sorry he move he moved her car and reported her missing after the fact. It has been reported he reportedly reported he reported a day after she went missing.
It has been reported he isn't uh talking to police and has retained a lawyer. It has been reported he charged sorry changed her Facebook profile after she went missing. It has been reported that her friends have said she has mental illness, bipolar, and schizophrenia. It has been reported she went to the police and filed a report stating she is in fear for her life and that he was following her and wanted uh it on record because she thought he was going to unalive her. It has been reported that she went into the neighborhood and was seen on a Ring camera footage knocking on doors and pleading for help. Uh there's been a lot reported by others, but one thing is clear. Nothing uh has been said from Brandon uh her husband.
No Facebook post, no plead for help. He has not uh shared her missing poster or any flyers. He has not requested any assistance, nor has it been reported that he has helped the search in any way, which is very odd behavior for someone whose wife disappeared 5 days ago.
So, there's that. Okay. So, we're going to get to um Ashley Banfield and then after we watch Ashley and Brian, I want to show you guys a lot more after what they found we're going to get into. So, guys, if you're just joining us, make sure you guys hit that thumbs up button. Greatly appreciate you all being here.
um and or double tap that screen wherever you are if you're on mobile.
Okay, let me give Ashley the credit link is provided in the description.
Did you spell it? B A N F I E L D. Okay, perfect. Um all right, here we go. some interesting things because she actually speaks to some people here.
>> Leanfield and this is Drop Deadad Serious. I have a big update for you um from a coroner straight from the coroner who's involved in the Elena Moore case.
Now, if you have been following this case, Elena Moore is a 39year-old woman who disappeared in Lexington, South Carolina over a week ago. So June 11th was the last time Elena was seen and things started to get very strange after that. Videos popping up, unusual behavior, disoriented, all the rest. And in fact, I did an episode um just yesterday with all of the details of her dis.
>> Now, you know, u Simply Real says, "How would the husband know have known right away that she was missing when they weren't living together? No obvious signs of trauma on her body." So toxically you will probably uh find cause of death. Um so he reported her missing the next day from what I understand >> appearance and the ring.
>> But we also have to remember that on the 4th of June it seemed like she was a little bit out of it as well. So that could be from stress induced. Who knows?
Who knows?
>> Camera video that surfaced and the people who encountered her and had such an unusual just reparte with her um right before she vanished. And that's linked in the description. So I highly recommend you check that out. It's quick and you can get up to speed on the case. But yesterday, a press conference was held in which the Lexington U Police Department said they found a body, but they would not say that it was Elena.
What they did say was that it's somebody who's wearing the same clothes that Elena was last seen in before she disappeared. So, that leads us to believe that it may very well be her, but we're not saying it for sure because they said they have to wait for the coroner. And I spoke with the coroner today. very interesting um discussion.
The coroner can't say for sure exactly what happened to Elena and that person is also traveling, but there is a full autopsy scheduled for Saturday.
>> Yes, Saturday.
>> That's in two days.
>> And the results of that will likely be made public in about 2 days after that.
Either Sunday or Monday after that. But what really stuck out to me was the simple question of did this seem like a suspicious death? Was the cause of death obvious? And the answer was no. Not obvious.
Obviously, coroner couldn't say um a definitive yes or no. But I want to actually read from from Margaret Fischer's words, the coroner, because I think it's important to hear exactly what she said to me when I asked all of my questions. Okay. She said, "Apsy is scheduled for Saturday at 10:00 a.m. We do not have a cause of death, and we should have a positive identification on this female by Saturday. I'm not sure if foul play is suspected as that would be a law enforcement question. At this point, and from my experienced perspective, I could not tell.
Nothing obvious at that point.
The condition of the body will not be released at this time as the investigation with law enforcement is still going on.
>> So it it says that there is no obvious sign of you know just just by the outer appearance of her body there's no obvious sign of trauma. right now. They will figure it out. Um, you know, I just Is this going to boil down to, you know, like a a homicide? Is this going to boil down to um an accident?
Is this like what is this?
The thing that really bothers me is the car and the phone.
Did she really have her phone? Hey Deb, good to see you babe.
That's a good point.
That's a good point. now. Well, there could have been, you know, something broke or cracked, you know, and it not be just like dangling or whatever, but uh you're you're you're right. I read she was not allowed to take the car.
There was there was clearly something going on with this car. But what bothers me was was it at the damn uh Lowe's or was it not at the Lowe's?
Because we all heard that the the husband towed it.
And if he towed it, why?
Yes. Yeah. They found her. a.m.
>> We will hopefully know more by Monday as we should be doing a news conference on Monday morning unless there is an unforeseen circumstance that arises. So that okay, super interesting to me because if you find a body in the woods, um someone who's been missing, you know, for a week and that person has been murdered, say shot or stabbed or beaten to death, those things are usually obvious. And so this coroner quote from her experienced perspective uh did not say that this was obvious right at this point from my experienced perspective I could not tell nothing obvious at that point she says so now I am left wondering okay well um would strangulation be obvious >> now you also have to understand that the body if it's not inbalmed uh quickly. So, if you guys know, I used to work at I've worked at three different funeral homes, and most bodies are inbombed, especially if you want them viewed.
We inbomb them as soon as they get to the funeral home.
First thing, they are imbalmed. if they come during the night, as soon as we get there in the morning, they're embalmed.
So, that really slows down the process, especially if they're inbombed really good.
Um, but if that doesn't happen, then you decay really quickly, especially out in the sun, um, in humid temperatures, right? So, she was there 6 days.
6 days. So, things are going to take a turn really quickly.
really really quickly. So they might not be able to have because she had changed relatively quickly.
You might not be able to see it. And remember this uh coroner, she's probably just seen pictures at this point because she's out of town.
So, just because they don't see anything via pictures doesn't mean nothing happened.
>> I would think you'd see bruising on the neck. Um, maybe not. Because if this body, and I'm not going to say it's Elena yet, but if this body had been there for say a week in the South Carolina heat, perhaps there was an advanced stage of decomposition, which might make it less obvious to see what the actual cause of.
>> Exactly, Ashley. Exactly. Bo, thank you so much for 21 months. What a legend.
Thank you for all you do. Love, love you a long time. Love you too, darling.
Appreciate your continued support, my dear. Really do.
Question. Do you have to be involved?
You don't have to be involved. No.
No. But uh that's uh generally if you want to be, you know, like viewed at a at a funeral home. The husband reported her missing after the friend called him.
you know, was there an issue, you know, going on in their marriage? They had been together a long time, but they had only been married um a couple years.
So, you know, sometimes people date better than they marry. You know what I mean? Like they can they can be fine when they're dating, but when that marriage thing happens, like it changes people sometimes.
So, we'll have to see.
>> Death might be right. Or the manner like is this a suicide? Is this an accidental suicide like an overdose? Is this a homicide? Meaning someone did this to her as opposed to her doing it to herself.
>> Exactly. uh maybe those things are just a little too tricky until you've got your autopsy results. That I can fully respect. But at first blush, typically you can tell the big things uh if you're the coroner. So this just led me to think so much more about the intersection of all the details, right, of what happened with Elena.
She's seen wandering in unusual places 6 miles away from her home but only a half mile away from the Planet Fitness where she was last seen. She signed into the plan Planet Fitness just after 6:00 at night on June.
>> But I want to know how she signed in.
Did she just go to the desk and they she's like, "I don't got my phone."
Um or what? Did she have her phone? Now, the the PI, he said that she may have not had her phone days before she even went missing.
>> Um, her husband didn't, >> you know, was there a phone found with her?
>> Reporter missing till the next day.
And obviously when the story became big and the media picked up on it and Elena's picture was shown, you know, all over the press, people started to clue in and say, >> "Jen is single and ready to mingle."
>> Oh, I actually think I've seen that girl. And they also said that they got a tip last week.
Yes. Yes, she does have her phone in the Door Dash. And that was the fourth. That was the fourth. Now, a video I'm going to show you guys here in just a little bit. There was a neighbor whose uh boxes Elena was allegedly messing with. And the neighbor kind of told her like, "Why are you messing with my neighbors boxes?" You know, like, "Are you okay?" And she's like, "I don't know." Elena was like allegedly, "I don't know.
So, you know, what does that what does that mean? Um, you know, there could be something going on in Elena's head, like a medical emergency that is causing her to be out of it. It could be she shouldn't have been released allegedly from a mental facility.
It could be that her medicines were changed or stopped taking medicine.
Um it could be someone even giving her um chemicals that she didn't know she was taking.
Um there's so many possibilities. This could be an accident.
Um, I don't know. Planet Fitness, you can tell them name and they can log you in.
Absolutely. And they she went here a lot. She went here a lot from a member of the public saying that they had seen Elena or someone who looked like Elena in this area, which was what brought the Lexington police to search that area. And lo and behold, they found a body. And it is the body of a woman wearing similar clothing. And you probably saw the the black spandex workout tights with an olive colored um you know athletic top. They said that the clothing um that you know the body uh was found in was was similar. Still doesn't mean it's Elena, but it leads us to believe it more than likely is. So the investigation is being handed off to SLED South Carolina law enforcement division and no one's saying whether it is you know suspicious at this time and we have >> the the the chief said it could be anything. Uh Christine, welcome to the Pearl family, my dear. Really do appreciate you welcome Miss Christine. Thank you so much darling. Really really do appreciate you. Thank you so very much uh for your support, my love. Good to see you.
Okay, let's uh get back to this.
>> Wait for that. But in the meantime, there are some weird things that we've discovered. So, for starters, Elena's husband's name is Brandon uh Brandon. B R A N O N. Brandon Slice. And he's former law enforcement, which is interesting. Um he is now a private investigator and he works for a law office. It's >> Kim. Thank you so much for the gift, my darling. Appreciate you very, very much.
Very kind of you. Thank you for your support.
Um, I agree with Justin. Could this young woman have been given medications without her knowledge? In my opinion, something smells fishy.
>> The law office of James R. Smith.
>> I mean, just look how fit she is right here.
Like, this gal is fit. I mean the last hours of her life she was exercising.
Okay.
The last hours of her life was exercising.
Investigator and he works for a law office. It's the law office of James R.
Snell Jr. Hey, my name is Brandon Slice and I'm a private investigator and prior to being a private investigator, I worked for the Lexon County Sheriff's Department for 14 years.
you know, you love who you love and you can't sometimes you can't help who you fall in love. But he seemed just a little bit more goofy to me than uh you know, there just seems to be an attraction difference there if you ask me. Now, he's older. He's 47.
Uh she was 39.
Uh, so I don't know.
>> And my job here with the Snow Law Firm is is >> he reminds me, respectfully, he reminds me of Otis off Andy Griffith.
>> I'm the private investigator for the for the office and I meet with with clients whenever they come in for whatever problem. if there's witnesses that need to be spoke to or any kind of thing to help prepare your case for trial is is what I do. One thing I'll say is from day one whenever you come to the Schnell Law Firm, they're going to give you a piece of mind that your case is handled professionally and and properly. It's a very stressful time. Whenever you come in to an attorney's office for whatever reason it is, something happened that didn't go right and you don't want to have to stress over wondering what's going on.
You're always going to be kept in the loop through his office. Mr. Schnell's created a a a staff that's like no other. They they cater to your needs and they customize a case plan for everybody that walks.
>> Soldier girl, watch me roll. Crank it something. Watch me roll. Love you, Soulja. Thank you so much for your support, my darling. Really do appreciate you. Leave it to Justin.
Kisses >> through the office. you're never gonna have to worry about whether or not things are being handled properly in your case to to to get the best outcome available.
>> So, Brandon Slice works for this law office. Law and crime reached out to Elena's husband, Brandon Slice, and had a quick conversation with him, not an interview, but effectively. Um this is the way this this quick discussion is is characterized as far as her personal life is concerned meaning Elena she's married to someone they weren't naming him uh they spoke to that person they said that he said police have advised him not to make comments to the media but when allowed he would be interested in speaking to >> now this is the saying you do what you want and police can say if I were you I wouldn't do that but they cannot stop your your free speech right baby kisses thank you soldier girl thank you baby kisses thank you baby good to see you thank you so much as you dig oh we we we are um we can get his uh past uh disip ary as well >> the media in the future um and he's the person who reported Elena missing one day after she was last seen I have so many questions for starters um whenever someone is missing and uh the circumstances are unusual the family members are instantly the very first people you look at right they're the very first people who are investigated so I would find it very strange that the police would say uh to a husband um you know in guidance we recommend that you don't speak to the press. I don't think that they would give guidance to >> Thank you. Thank you. Listen, this is a very, and I'm not saying he's doing it, but I'm just saying that this is a very, very common tactic with people who don't want to speak to the media when their loved one is missing or there's something suspicious going on. They'll say, "Police have told me not to speak or not to speak on this." No, police don't advise anyone.
That's what an attorney does. Police cannot advise you to do one thing or another. Like if you're in an interrogation, you know, you'll say something like, uh, should I speak to you? And they'll say, oh, I don't, you know, they they don't want you to get an attorney. Obviously, they want you to speak in the interview.
So, that's a little red flag for me to be honest with you. And exactly what Ashley is saying here, >> a um to a family member, a husband in a suspicious disappearance of a woman.
Maybe I'm wrong, but he is former law enforcement. So, I do wonder if they're giving him special treatment. I don't know that, but it's the first thing I wonder is if this guy who should be your first target of investigation.
>> Bingo. Also, he works for an attorney.
Yes. Yes. Exactly.
There's that.
>> Uh just not saying he did it. I'm just saying that every family member when someone misses goes missing is instantly questioned and you move out from the concentric circles. But this guy says that, you know, he was advised by the police not to talk. So, we're hearing some different things on the ground. Um, and from a very, very trusted source. If you know Sergeant Vicky Reigns, you know she knows this business inside and out. And I say that because Vicky Reigns is one of the stars of the hit Netflix series Missing Dead or Alive. It's a true crime docue series that follows investigators with the Richland County Sheriff's Department missing person's unit. And if you've seen the show, you know that that's why I I would have called her, right? For her expertise in this exact kind of thing, a suspicious disappearance of a of a of a woman.
But there's even more to Vicky Reigns.
Sergeant Vicky Reigns in Richland County is a stones throw from Lexington. So, uh, she's connected to a lot of people.
>> Thank you, Miss Dolores. Appreciate your love. Good to see you. Good to see you >> in that community. And Vicky Reigns says that that description from Elena's husband that the police told me not to comment and maybe later I will doesn't it doesn't pass muster. Um she says the only person who would say something like that uh to the police or have a communication would be his lawyer and the lawyer would say I'm not commenting.
Bingo.
>> It wouldn't be the other way around telling him not to comment if that makes sense. And there's a lot more that she's hearing as well that this case just seems a little bit >> weird. Anyway, I reached out to Sergeant Vicky Reigns and wouldn't you know it, she was all too happy to join me to lend some expertise into what is definitely an unusual and troubling case. Here's my conversation with Vicki. Sergeant Reigns, it's great to have you. Thank you so much for uh being on Drop Deadad Serious. What do you make of this very unusual story um and the circumstances surrounding Elena Moore?
>> It is one of those stories that could go in different directions. Um it it had a lot of variables to it. It's very unusual that somebody 39 years old goes missing for just, you know, no reason.
They don't usually just leave on their own or something.
And then ever since she was reported missing um a week ago.
>> Now I'm going to show you guys something here in just a little bit about a friend supposedly says that she was that Elena was scared and if I allegedly if I ever go missing, he did it.
>> Unusual circumstances have arisen. Uh, the police said she was missing from CVS. It turned out not to be true. They had to retract it. Then they said she was found. It turned out not to be true.
They had to retract it. Then we saw images of her at Planet Fitness. And then we found images of her um with neighbors, you know, a half mile away saying she showed up at their door disoriented. As a as a police officer, what do you do with that? Like how do you start changing the case when you see all these strange things?
So, when she um originally was reported missing by her husband and he's saying, you know, she's last seen at CVS. So, you're thinking, "Okay, let me go get the footage from CVS."
>> What?
>> What? So, the husband says that she was last seen at CVS.
This is why this story is not adding up because we were all saying CVS and then they were like no no no CVS and then and then it was he towed the vehicle from CVS and then it was no no no no.
Then it was he towed the vehicle from Lowe's and then the PI said there's you know I can't go into the the car thing but there's been a situation with the car and then there is this uh the the sheriff or whoever he is the chief he says the husband always had the car.
Now, something's weird here. I'm just going to go back on that real quick.
Do with that? Like, how do you start changing the case when you see all these strange things?
So, when she um originally was reported missing by her husband and he's saying, you know, she's last seen at CVS. So, you're thinking, "Okay, let me go get the footage from CVS." If it turns out she wasn't actually missing from CVS, then you want to go back and talk to the husband and try to figure out what's going on. You also want to talk to other people in her life to figure out, you know, are there any medical issues? Are there any type of mental issues or anything like that? Is is it a de you know a lot >> I agree. I agree. Uh why was she not having I mean why have the flipflops at the gym?
You know what I mean? Thank you, Miss Connie. Very kind of you my dear.
Appreciate it. Thank you very much.
Thank you, baby. Appreciate your support. Truly, thank you so very much.
Uh it's it's just very suspicious. We we shouldn't be getting this many stories. We just shouldn't be getting this many stories. So, it there's some there's something weird here.
>> Like a toxic domestic situation, you want to start figuring out all of those avenues, asking people, you know, has anybody been following her? Something like that. Checking all the different areas when when you start seeing red flags especially.
>> Well, one of the red flags um was that she had recently uh been in a mental health facility. Yes.
>> And so I assume that that would change the metric for a police investigation trying to track down a missing woman as well.
>> Yes. Yes. Um knowing that she had just been released from a a mental health facility and that she had shown up, you know, a few days prior to going missing at a neighbor's house, being disoriented and things like that. And then seeing her at Planet Fitness and she works at a different gym and things like that. Then you start, you know, is maybe is she on medication and she's off her medication.
You start going down those avenues. Talk to the people that she talked to to see what her behavior was when she was speaking with them.
In all the work that I've done, and it's a lot, you know, after four decades of doing this work, >> it is invariable that when a woman goes missing, the first people that police have to look at very, very seriously, is family, including husbands and parents, brothers and sisters, etc. Um, but in this case, it something doesn't seem like it's adding up.
Yes, you do usually start off with the person that saw them last or the person that they reside with. And you do want to rule out all the family members first that they reside with. Especially if she lives with her husband, if they have any type of strained relationship and he's reporting her missing and then that isn't where she went missing from or something. Yes, you would want to rule all of that out and then when her mental health would come into play. um that would certainly change, you know, maybe the direction you're going in, but you still want to rule out all of those people. You don't want to miss anything and you want to cover every area. So, you would still want to rule out her husband.
>> Well, that happened real fast and I could not quite compute the the lightning speed um you know, with which he was dispensed as a as anybody who was um a person of interest. It it happened even before they found a body. And again, they found a body >> at the wolf. That's where she was a trainer at.
>> So far, they haven't said it's Elena. It seems like it might be. The clothing matches, etc., but it seemed very, very quick um to say that the husband is is not a person of interest. Did it seem quick to you?
Um, I would I would say um I would probably wait till the autopsy was back and get some more concrete results of, you know, get the toxicology back and things like that. But if they have found out >> found, right? Like they they ruled him out before a body had even been found.
She was still missing and they've ruled him out as a as a person of interest.
That's why I was a little surprised at the timing. Um, if he could if he could show where he was at at the times that she was at Planet Fitness and on the other video, if he could show where he was at, that he had nothing to do with it. He was nowhere near there.
>> Did they rule him out?
Because did they? I didn't see that. if he was on video somewhere else or something, if if maybe um all the evidence they had showed that he was not even in the vicinity of her and couldn't have had anything to do with it, that could be a reason that maybe they would rule him out if they could show that he was nowhere near her at the time. If he had I mean, this is the thing like if your your wife doesn't come home at night, right? If she doesn't come home at night and you're not reported missing till the next day, like what was what was he doing doing during the time when she didn't come home? And how the [ __ ] was she supposed to get home? Number one, was you making her walk for two hours home?
because that's really crappy. If so, >> I checked in, you know, somewhere where he had to use his ID or something.
>> But I was smell anyway just because I've been at this game too long.
>> Yes, I've heard that she wasn't with her staying with her husband. So, where was she staying?
And I've seen proxy crimes being committed. So somebody has a perfect alibi, but they've actually orchestrated someone else to commit a crime.
>> Absolutely.
>> And until you go down all those avenues, police aren't usually quick to rule people out. It just seemed in this case, >> I I agree. I I feel the same way. Any of these cases that I've worked, I haven't ruled people out until I had everything back and everything in order. and you know, you're going to check every area and like you said, you never know. You never know if it's by proxy or something. So, I I wouldn't have probably ruled him out, but I don't know, you know, what evidence they have or what their reason was for that, but I I probably would have even, you know, saying a person of interest doesn't mean a suspect. So, I may have still said a person of interest just till I figured out, you know, what her toxicology was or, you know, had she taken something. I just I probably would have waited as well.
>> Yeah. And it there were some odd statements that were made. Um, law and crime had a quick conversation with this husband who said that the police had advised him not to speak to the media.
Is that the way it works?
Um, I mean, not typically unless there's something about the case that law enforcement would not want the public to know. Like sometimes in a in a homicide, um, things that only a suspect would know, we may not want the family to give those out so that, you know, we can work the case. But in this situation, she's a missing person. So, I would have thought that maybe speaking to the police would have been I mean, speaking to the media would have been very helpful to get it out and hey, this is where she could be or something like that. So, I I I don't know why they would have told him that in this case, but >> I guess he's saying they did.
>> You hit the nail on the head. um usually having the family.
>> So, I'm looking at uh some of these comments and someone under anonymous posted, let me find it.
Very weird. Why did he flush her meds down the toilet? This could explain why she was acting unusual. withdrawing uh off medication is not something to play with, especially if there are anxiety medications. I do know she was on heart medicine. Why didn't he pick her up from the hospital? Why did he have her phone?
Why was he so controlling of her? There are so many unanswered questions.
Hm.
>> Get in front of the cameras and say, "Everybody help. Find tips. Do what you can. Be on the lookout, etc." That's usually the MMO when a woman is missing, especially a vulnerable woman like she may have been.
>> Um, >> absolutely.
>> Just checked out of the mental health facility. But I also don't typically see police advising um >> people who are close to someone who might be missing. They usually want that person to talk to them. They don't usually >> absolutely >> advocates and I mean that's >> Patty and BK. Thank you so much uh for your gifts my loves. Really do appreciate your support. Thank you very very much honey. Good to see you guys.
Yeah, we're going over that next sh.
Yep.
Getting a funny feeling from all this.
>> Right. I've never told family uh not to speak to the media. As a matter of fact, we have press conferences with them whenever they have family members missing because we are urging the public to please if you see this person, you know, if you have any information on this person. So, I do think it would be highly unlikely that the police would say don't talk about your missing wife.
That does seem unusual.
Yeah. it. There is also another piece to this and that is some of the uh rumblings within family and friends and friends of friends and I think maybe even in you know um your law enforcement um you know adjacent division because you're only a few miles away um Richard County isn't far that there were some marital uh difficulties or some kind of a relationship issue. Do you do you know what the background is on that reporting?
>> Um I have heard that from um I don't know her personally, but we have mutual friends and I have heard that they had um you know some domestic situations in their relationship that maybe things weren't going really smooth that um she had told people that you know she had some issues with him and she had gone into detail about you know trying to leave him and things like that. That's what I was told by her friends.
>> Well, that's always a red flag when a woman goes missing. Then there were some that they weren't living together, but I think you've got sources that suggested they indeed were.
>> Um, yes, they had um so some people reached out to me to ask, you know, like they had information about this case or information about her and they would reach out and ask, "Hey, do you know about this?" and give me information about things. Um, some of them would be her friends and they would say, "Did you know?" And they would just provide information that was, you know, something they would say like, you know, they don't really get along and then she >> Now, if they were living together, this to me is going to make it way more suspicious, right? Because why would you have your wife walk 2 hours away and maybe have her phone?
Like she would have nothing with her, right?
Like uh you don't she doesn't have a car and you took her phone. That's a lifeline. A phone is >> was in this mental institution, this mental facility. And then um some people said that when she got out of the facility, she did not go back to his home. And then um some people wasn't sure if she did or didn't. So it, you know, you hear all kinds of stories. You just have to vet all of those stories and what is true. You have to find out if she wasn't staying at home, who was she staying with, you know, and you know, verify everything someone was telling you.
>> Well, and then there's the issue of her last being seen on June 11th, but not being reported missing till June 12th by her husband. If they're not living together, that would make perfect sense.
Um, if they are living together, uh, you'd think late at night on June 11th, you want to know why you can't reach your your wife and why she hasn't walked through the door, >> right?
Yeah, that was a concern of um her friends was like, you know, is it normal to wait to not report?
>> Well, she she hasn't uh posted for the last month on uh she hasn't posted for the last month on her Facebook. Her car was found at Lowe's, not Planet Fitness.
Um, yeah, it was definitely not found at Planet Fitness, but it was originally said uh that she was last seen at CVS and that her car was at CVS. And then according to this lady here, she's like uh she said uh the husband allegedly said she was last seen at CVS. It was said that the car was towed from CVS and then it was a no, the car wasn't towed from CVS. The car was towed from Lowe's. But then the chief said he's always had control of the car even before she went missing.
So it's you can't get a straight answer.
someone missing. And I said, "Well, if you know they're missing, >> hold on."
>> Yeah. That was a concern of um her friends was like, you know, is it normal to wait to not report someone missing?
And I said, "Well, if you know they're missing, the sooner the better. We always urge everyone as soon as you know, let us know. The faster we can find them." the >> I mean listen in this case let's say if she doesn't have a car and she's been maybe talking out of her head and especially if she doesn't have a phone and she's not home within an hour or two max of her saying that she's going to be home or wherever she was staying you should be calling.
Something's not right.
Again, I don't know why the hell she would never call.
>> More chances there are of saving him.
Usually that 24-hour period in the beginning is the most crucial time. Let me ask you something. When was the last time you actually went to the doctor?
>> Yeah. If you've been saying there's a badness and she before she went missing video, you know, um a week before she went missing, she's a half mile away from the Planet Fitness and she's on a doorbell cam messing with someone's uh Door Dash order and the homeowners aren't aware that the that Elena uh >> Thank you, Soulja Girl, for the gift, baby. Appreciate you very very much.
Thank you so much for your support, my dear agent. Um, it just seems with his legal and law enforcement connections that there might be some conflict of interest. Yeah, agree. Agree. Very possible.
>> Is is a person who's maybe in distress.
They think it's the Door Dash driver and the Door Dash driver doesn't think there's an issue because the Door Dash driver thinks it's the homeowner. So, it was a very strange confluence of circumstances, but nonetheless, the homeowner >> What? Hold on. and the Door Dash driver.
>> Oh, I see what you said. Never mind.
>> Think there's an issue because the Door Dash driver thinks it's the homeowner.
So, it was a very strange confluence of circumstances, but nonetheless, the homeowner got a beat on all of it that that Elena picked up the Door Dash and tried to walk into into their home with it and they had to tell her no. And then later, about an hour later, saw her rifling through packages of their neighbor. That is all very distressing information at a time when she's a week from from vanishing, >> right? Yes. Um it is. And um one of her friends said that when the neighbors said, hey, you know, what are you doing?
She was kind of like, well, I I don't know. And was maybe like a little confused or something. So that is very concerning. And then what her conversation would have been with the people at Planet Business that morning cuz that isn't um the gym that >> Exactly. That's what I said the other day. I was like, why did this uh PI not ask the conversation that they were having with her at Planet Fitness? Like what did she was she talking out of her head or whatever? Thank you again, soldier girl, for the gift. Appreciate you, baby. Very kind of you. Thank you so much.
>> She regularly goes to She works at a different gym. So, whatever her conversation would have been with them, I'm sure the police have gotten that, but whatever that would be would be very telling as well. It would be, you know, why was she there and what was she telling them?
>> Yeah.
>> Yeah. I mean, she clearly looked like she was engaged with the front desk and having a conversation of some kind. If it could be a fly on the wall for that >> because I believe that may be the last known uh interaction that that she had, at least that we know of at this point.
She may very well have had other interactions, but it is odd. I I have to say, Vicki, that it's odd that someone who's already having a a difficulty in her life, meaning she'd just been in the the U mental health facility.
>> I mean, my that's the thing like if she was if she was having difficulty in her life, right? Like, and you knew she was fragile right now, especially the husband.
If you knew she was fragile, why would they just be letting her walk all over town without a phone?
You know what I mean?
then appears to be disoriented, then vanishes, but also has this difficult piece in her life where she's having troubles and relationship troubles uh with her husband. Um >> how, you know, how much of a coincidence would it take to have a a random murder intersecting with all this other bizarre uh you know, these bizarre developments?
>> That would be very bizarre. That's why I probably wouldn't have ruled anyone out.
Of course, I I don't know what evidence they have, so I can't speak to that, but I I probably wouldn't have ruled anything out until maybe after the odd.
>> So, one of my mods, Kelsey, she's she doesn't know Elena, but she they have mutual friends together, and from what she says, she was absolutely in a facility like a month for a month or a month prior.
Um, people are alleging that the husband flushed the medication.
Um, I don't know. We'll have to see.
We'll have to see. So, now we're going to go to Brian Inon because he did an interview and uh, this is very, very interesting what he's what they find out here.
Okay, here we go.
>> Much for checking out my show. Really, really appreciate by the Alina Katherine Moore um situation. And I am going to talk to one of her closest friends here in a few minutes. And you're going to hear everything she has to say and all of her insight into what she says was going on. My conversation with Sandre Campbell. Uh this is a close friend of Alenas. Sandre, I'm so sorry for what happened to your friend. Um, it's just such a terrible situation. If you don't mind, just tell me first about the last time you saw Alina and and kind of what stands out to you.
>> Um, we went to brunch May the 31st. Um, a couple girls um, a couple of her clients were there. uh friends I >> now I think Sandre says that she was kind of talking out of her head >> had known before um we all met up um Elena is like loves a new place loves to you know kind of host something and um get people together and like you know people that's entrepreneurs you know people like like ourselves So, um, she invited me out and we when she showed up, you know, she just looked really nervous. Um, she didn't she wasn't calm. She was kind of looking around. Um, she kind of got up once and walked to the door and was like looking out the door. Um, she wasn't fidgety or anything. I have like a video from that day. I just kind of went around the table and um she was fine, you know, um as far as well, you know, she was in her right mind and everything like that. Um we all had >> we laughed, we talked, she was across the table from me. I had to go pick my son up. I hugged her by. She hugged me and she hugged me really tight and was like, "We have got to catch up oneon-one." Um there was still like four about four or five girls there and she's like I can't talk right now.
>> Yeah. Yeah.
>> Um but it's it's I'm scared for my life. It's a crazy [ __ ] right now. She said the words that those words >> and I said, "What are you?"
>> She said, "Okay, so she says Elena says she's scared for her life. It's crazy [ __ ] right now."
>> Talking about what? And she's like, "You don't even know." She's like, "It's too much right now in front of these people.
We've got to me and you oneon one."
But guys, always get the story. Say, "Well, we'll walk outside if we need to talk."
Get the [ __ ] story. Don't say, "Tell me later." Get the story, please.
Please, please, please.
>> I'm afraid for my life type [ __ ] She's like, I'm with Jersey. That was another one of her friends. Um, I guess that made me feel a little bit more comfortable that, you know, I figured that she was hanging out with her a lot, maybe staying with her. Um, I know Jersey lived close to them and, um, so I, uh, sorry about that. Um, that was it. Uh she didn't as far as people saying the mental health things that bothers me, the negative stuff about her that I'm seeing. Um nobody knows behind closed doors kind of what went on with her and him, but I've witnessed telephone calls of how he talked to her and treated her. Um how we missed a concert one night because of her not wanting to be around him because of the way he was treating her. Those tickets were expensive. Um, >> well, I guess she's talking about another time here, but you've got to remember he had two tickets to go see someone. And before she went missing, he gave those away for free on Facebook.
Come on, guys. Hit that thumbs up or double tap that screen. Thank you, Deb.
So, there's the history.
But we had a better night. We went out ourselves to eat dinner and had a great time. The video of the door dash to me, when I look at that, it is very sad.
Elena's clients can tell you that's not what she looks like in the gym when she's even working out and hot and getting her, you know, fit on. She doesn't look like that. Um, she was panning. She was breathing very heavily.
She looked to me like maybe she was disoriented a little bit.
I believe this is the day that I was told she went into the hospital that police took her there and when it all began with the Three Rivers um mental facility.
So the police took her to the facility.
Okay.
Why? Like did someone have her admitted against her will or what?
>> So she went into a mental facility.
>> Um yes. I don't know how that happened.
She went from the hospital straight to the Three Rivers. It obviously was her self doing it. like they couldn't keep her there because she left on her own.
I'm not really familiar with that whole story. I don't know why it's not being talked about more. Um I don't know if she has a mental health diagnosis besides anxiety. That's what >> Okay.
So, she went to the hospital and then they sent her to the mental hospital.
There has to be a police report.
>> She has told me before in the past and she's had to, you know, we've dealt with that. I've dealt with anxiety, too. So, we've dealt with that kind of together.
Um, she's so uplifting and so positive. And there is no way.
I don't know who did this. The Duke's investigator um really saddened me on live when he said that.
>> Wow. So, she just said, "I don't know who did this.
How long do most states allow a household?"
Yeah. 5150 Baker Act is uh Florida, but I don't I'm sure South Carolina has their own version. Yes, Justin, thousand% checked out of whatever was going on with Elena. Did he let her suffer during a crisis or is he also a victim of this?
Her friend contradicts herself a lot in this interview. Okay.
>> No one in the family had any worries of anything happening in the marriage. No friends or family spoken to.
>> What happened? Said that no one in the family had any worries of anything happening in the marriage. No friends or family spoken to what friends or family?
I don't even know if her family still if her family's been contacted. I know they reached out to. I don't know if anyone's if they're here yet.
>> So, where's her family at? Where is Elena's parents? Where's her family?
Where do they live?
You know, the hospital. Okay.
Um, his family who hired you. His family him um, you didn't talk to me about anything. He didn't ask me if there was problems in the marriage. I said, "Did I called him because it was worrisome and I was like, you're on live television." He said, "Ma'am," he got upset with me because I was upset that he was he didn't talk to me. There was problem in problems with that marriage. They were separating. I know Brandon told you that. So, are you trying to say he didn't? Ma'am, this is for Lexington County to, you know, have control over now. Her she's been deceased. She's been found deceased.
I said, but you were saying these things while she was still alive.
>> Yeah.
>> Um, >> did when you saw her last was it May 31st? Is that right?
>> That's correct.
Did she cuz in that in that doorbell video it's like she looks confused like I was wondering do you think she might have been having some kind of mental break or something like you know some kind of >> you know I heard too it's like I'm saying everything's flying around because we're not getting like answers from it's like crickets from the police and investigators which >> yeah I heard that she was adopted from Russia uh but you Who's her adopted parents?
>> No, that takes some time. But she's dead. And I feel like that was concerning to me. Very concerning the way she looked. But she looks scared. I know what my friend looks like when she's nervous and we're out. He calls her and he's like made her, you know, there's no one that she talks to malewise at all. like their their neighbors um are Brandon's friends. Um mostly the family don't really speak with Elaine a lot. Brandon's family. Um >> Wow.
>> It's really just Brandon and Elena. And he made sure that she always knew that all you have is me.
>> Oh, that's sad. What is it? That's really sad to me because if you are adopted or your your birth parents aren't in your life, you grow up with abandonment issues already. You grow up with abandonment issues already. And um I wasn't raised by my parents, so I understand uh and him allegedly saying that all you have is me. All you have is me. That's really sad. That's really really sad.
>> What is Elena like like before all this?
Like she she seems like a wonderful person.
>> Is so positive. She is so uplifting.
Like there her head is her head is on her shoulders. Like she is I'm a little older than Elite and she is someone I look up to. That's She had a you know kind of hard childhood. She um she conquered so much on her own and like I say her clients would tell you the same. She worked hard. Um most of her pictures Brandon took um I think he was proud of her too. her body her you know >> I mean there's clearly respectfully an attractiveness difference between the two and uh I think you know he probably was you know proud of kind of a trophy wife if you will um but it could also lead to jealousy >> her career um but you know she did did a job at CVS to try to obtain insurance to have, you know, health insurance cuz she started having some health issues with her heart. And so that was concerning for me when she was missing. Um, talking about mental health, but why aren't we talking about her heart condition? We know that she has that. Um, >> but you know what kind of heart condition? Uh, there can be a lot of different, you know, things going on with that. Um, she seemed to be in very good health.
Um, you know, I know that she's been on a heart monitor. Brandon knows that. Like, um, did she have her medicine for that? You know, did she was she put on a medication from the facility?
There's a lot of questions that is not answered. And I just feel like is my friend's body just sitting there alone still like you're I don't know why she left CVS. We never got to talk about that. I don't know if it was personal reasons and those were it because >> Okay, that's interesting. So, she had left her job uh at CVS and that's where she obtained her health insurance, right?
So, was this because was it a personal thing like she just didn't need the job anymore?
Um, was it something going on at work?
Was it something, you know, mentally and she, you know, made a quick snap decision?
Was it something going on in her marriage?
>> There was interference. you know, she couldn't really do her job right when she was always stressed out, crying, you know, there was a lot of that when she worked there. She tried to keep it together, you know, inside, but like she would break down on breaks and stuff like that to me.
>> So, their marriage was >> I know that there's been problems for years kind of, but there has been good times. So, that makes me wonder, too, what the heck is going on here? Um, but like I say, my friend is she was not on she's not a druggie or a drunk. That those things hurt me.
>> I don't think she was >> She's very classy, very sophisticated.
Um, so like I'm sorry.
>> No, it's okay. This must be so hard.
>> I can't believe someone could hurt her.
But she's also strong and she could probably kick somebody's butt that tried to come after her if it was a stranger.
Um Elena exercise a lot. She didn't go walking at nighttime alone.
She's very aware her >> I mean that's the thing, right? Like think about that. Who is going to let her navigate these streets alone at night, right?
I mean, if she's having mental health issues, why would anyone let her just roam free?
You know what I mean?
I just don't understand. I really don't.
Yeah. I think her husband was always looking for her.
Not yet. Green eyes. The autopsy is tomorrow.
>> Surroundings. That's one thing. Hold on.
>> She's very aware of her surroundings.
That's one thing I'll say, too. She's very She's She She's observing.
And she's not going to take any crap. She's going to tell you the truth. And that's her. That's her. She's She's She's a go-getter. She's going to >> be Sorry. She's going to make you get it, too. And if you're ever having a bad day, she's going to tell you you you're worthy.
You know, she's that person. She's uplifting >> and she's got me through some really tough times. Um when my son was sick and stuff and >> just Good morning, beautiful. I've got I'm listening to some of her voice messages she just sent me out of the blue.
It's so sad.
>> I know her life.
>> She was always there for you.
>> What was that?
>> She was always there for you. It sounds like >> always there for me. There's no way I can't advocate for this person.
And I'm It's just the the questions and then the lies and then I don't know what to believe is true or not. And but you know, like I say, I got to take up for her and I've got to present the positive things and who she was because >> that's facts.
>> These are facts of who she was as a person.
>> Okay, girl.
>> And you know, even on the hard days, she worked out. And why would she go to Planet Fitness to tan or do red light therapy or to work out to go and unal alive herself?
>> That's exactly right. Right. I mean, usually you don't uh you know, you're not taking care of yourself right before you unal alive yourself. You know what I mean?
She had just exercised and then she walks and the next thing we know she's dead.
Yes. Her husband didn't report her missing until the next day like you said. That is Yeah.
I mean, you would think the husband would at the very minimum or a friend or wherever she was staying say, uh, my wife didn't come home tonight, can you at least write this down or something?
>> Big question to me.
>> That doesn't make sense. And why was drones put out, but yet you weren't on your feet looking for my friend right when she was reported missing since it had already been a long time, but like the day before when she really wasn't.
>> Hold on. What did she say? Why did your what?
>> Why was drones put out, but yet you weren't on your feet looking >> Oh, why were drones put out but you weren't on your feet looking? for my friend right when she was reported missing since it had already been a long time but like the day before when she really was missing.
>> So let me just go back for a second to when you last saw her.
>> Thank you for the gift.
I know what you said. She said to you about being upset at the end of the you hanging out. But did you think she seemed confused at all or anything like doorbell video?
>> Nope. She was definitely in her right mind and no.
>> Okay, that's interesting. So on May 31st, she was in her right mind and she told her friend on May 31st that a lot of [ __ ] was going on. That's what she said.
And she's like, "I can't tell you in front of these people."
Now that makes me wonder h on the fourth when she's there in front of that doorbell.
Was she afraid?
Did she feel like she had no one and she was just in that area so nobody could follow her or you know because you remember how I said like sometimes people don't want to make a big scene. They don't want to say, "Hey, my husband or my boyfriend or some stranger's down there following me." So, they'll just pretend like they're doing something.
And this friend says on the 31st, because there was a bunch of people, a bunch of their friends were there, she's like, "A lot of shit's going on, but I don't want to tell you in front of everybody right here." So, we'll talk about it later.
>> She the other girls at the lunchroom could tell you she's, like I said, she she holds herself very well. The only thing at the beginning before we all like got really situated, she was looking around and kind of looking out the door a little bit, she went to the door and looked out and I didn't never see her phone.
>> So, she was she was doing that also in the Door Dash camera as well, right?
She would look to the side.
She looked at the the number on the apartment >> and like I saw her two fingernails broke and I I just was like, >> "Ooh."
>> She kind of moved differently. So at the end when I hugged her, I was like, "Are you good?"
She's like, "We got to catch up." She's like, "It's bad." And I was like, "What is she's like like scared for my life type [ __ ] How are you doing right now?
>> I'm not good. I'm not I'm sick.
Like I'm sick.
She loved her life.
She wanted more. She just wasn't going to stop until she got more, you know?
She wanted to keep going. She wanted to be bigger. She wasn't going to stop.
Like she did it. like every day, you know, I don't know, like I say, what's inside the house every day. Nobody knows behind closed doors, but what I seen and she posted a lot. And when she stopped posting, that was worrisome to me because I felt like there he is in control again of her telephone and her posting.
>> Okay, that's interesting. There he is again controlling her telephone and posting.
So did he control her telephone before?
Did he control her car before all of that? Soldier girl, thank you or thank you truth teller for your gift my dear.
Appreciate you very very much. Very kind of you baby. Appreciate you. Good to see you.
It could go any way. It could go any way. This could have >> done that before.
>> Have you talked to her family at all?
>> He's done that before.
>> No.
Nobody but the girl um Meredith that she was raised with that she grew up with.
um she kind of moved out of her home when she was uh younger like um a young teen into the home with with her and her family for you know like to be feel more safe. Um I don't think um a lot of things was going good where she was you know staying with her siblings and the household she was in. Um I think she wanted to you know maybe more freedom or you know whatever it was that she you know she moved in with them and lived with them till college years early college years and then I think that's when she came to South Carolina.
>> She had previously dated a guy um before Brandon but Brandon's really all I know of her dating besides just hearing about the first boyfriend.
Yeah. Well, I'm sorry for everything you're going through. It's just terrible.
>> It's like it's like a nightmare and you wake up and you're like seeing it again and it's like but it's not fair for her to not I just can't believe it. And I'm not going to not tell the truth of what come out of our our conversations and what I witnessed and what I heard on phones and what she told me with her own mouth. Um I hate I missed the call on June the 4th and then I've never got in touch with her again.
>> She called you on >> and June the 4th is when listen to that.
June the 4th is whenever the Door Dash camera thing took place.
And it makes me wonder, did the husband take her phone after that about seeing strangulation evidence due to decomp? Yeah.
Yep.
>> The fourth.
>> Mhm.
She didn't text me. She called and I missed it. And she didn't leave a message. Like I say, sometimes she would voice memo me and um I didn't think nothing about it. And I've called and called and like her phone would just ring and stuff. So, I was just thinking we were phone tagging and then I see she's missing.
Like I I nothing is said about any of that hospital stuff until he reports her missing.
>> I really really appreciate Sandra for taking the time to talk with me. Um it's it's important to point out that Moore's husband is not a suspect or anything like that. There's been no indication of anything like that. Yeah. Uh, and we really don't know much about the investigation except that Sled is now investigating, but we don't even know a cause of death. Uh, and her husband is the one >> she clearly had her phone. Uh, she said she didn't see uh, well, her girlfriend just said that uh, she did not have a phone that day and she was with uh, May 31st.
Clearly, she I mean, she said she didn't see a phone, but she may have she could have had her phone. She clearly had her phone on the fourth cuz we see it. And she called her friend.
Yes.
Yes.
Mhm.
I'm sorry, Souljan.
I know you cannot stop anyone, which is uh why normally adults don't immediately get searched for on who did report her missing and what led up to that and some of the things that you heard Sandra say um we're still trying to kind of nail down. um about a week before she went missing. There is bizarre ring camera video from an apartment complex where she showed up um at a door and seemed confused. According to residents, I'm going to play that video for you in full. Keep in mind that this is not her apartment. Uh and there's a Door Dash delivery. She seems confused. I'm going to talk more about >> She's breathing really heavy there as well. Just an FYI >> this in a minute, but first I just want to play the full video for you guys so you can see it for yourself.
Thank you.
>> Now, she just came up the steps. She just came up the steps here, but so did the Door Dash lady, and she's not breathing real hard. Now, that makes me wonder, was she running from someone prior to this? Or also, heart conditions can make you breathe harder as well.
So, you're welcome, soldier. Why would the husband have called his friend to see if she was with her before reporting her missing?
Why wouldn't rather the husband? Sorry.
Um, from what I hear, the friends, yeah, she does have a heart problem alle from what we understand. Um, allegedly the friend called the husband.
>> You mind if I take a picture?
>> Oh, yeah. You can take that. I just want to take a picture of the door.
Thank you.
Oh [ __ ] See that?
more.
>> Y >> So, what's going on in that video? I want to bring in my colleague at NewsNation, um, who I work with. She's also a NewsNation correspondent. She's also from South Carolina. Mills Hayes.
She obtained that video and has some insight.
>> All right. I'm joined by Mills now.
Thank you for taking the time to talk with me, Mills. I was saying earlier you actually from South Carolina. I didn't realize you actually like went to that.
>> No, I don't think so. Cuz you tip your you tip your driver generally before they even get there.
>> Fitness. I didn't know you were from that that close.
>> Yeah. No, I grew up in Lex, South Carolina. Graduated from there. the >> who is this >> she's also from and my colleague at NewsNation um who I work with she's also a NewsNation correspondent she's also from South Carolina Mills Hayes she obtained that video and has some insight all right I'm joined by Mills now thank you for taking the time to talk with me Mills I was saying earlier you actually from South Carolina I didn't realize you actually like went to that Planet Fitness I didn't know you were from that that close >> yeah no I grew up in Lexon South Carolina graduated from there the uh high school and yeah I used to go go to that Planet Fitness where she was last seen and pretty much everywhere around where she was last seen I used to frequent pretty often. That's a a shopping center she was last seen um at the Planet Fitness. That was what we thought, but then police released another image of her this past week, a couple days ago that she was last seen outside of that Publix. And to get to that Publix from that Planet Fitness, what she would have had to have done, there's like a whole string of different shops like a TJ Maxx and everything. And then the end you is that is that Publix which would then take you down Old Cherokee Road where she was last seen walking and ultimately which uh the area where police went and and found uh potentially her body. Of course, the coroner's office has not identified her for sure that this is her, but the police department did say that the the body that they found there matches the clothing description from what she was wearing.
>> Yeah, we don't know the exact spot she was found. Like it looks like they had the road closed. We kind of know the vague area, but what is that area like where she was found? Do you know? Do we know like is that far from the Planet Fitness and the and the Publix?
>> No, it's about a mile away. Uh so it's really not far out at all and it's uh at the corner. did not live in that complex from everything that I've seen. Uh, thank you for your support interactive.
Appreciate you. Thank you for your gift, baby. Really do appreciate that very very much. Uh, you can see in the video after he takes the food, it seems like she wants to walk in. Yes. How do we know that she didn't go to another door and somebody let her in and something happened then? Well, because this is the fourth. This is the fourth. She didn't go missing until uh the 11th.
It's um a intersection of North Lake Drive and Old Cherokee. And if you go up um North Lake Drive, you get to the that's where the movies are at. And then if you go down Old Cherokee, it's really just kind of like a back road where there's a middle school, there's a couple local businesses, and there's a neighborhood there. and where they had the roads closed off. There is a creek that runs through that area. And I was actually uh reading that ABC, the local ABC there, spoke with a woman today.
They had interviewed some people that were outside of a makeshift memorial where she was found. And from their video, it looked like it was like a little bridge area, a wooded area that was uh that police would have had to step over to get into the wooded area where they found the body. So, it looks like maybe that was where uh she was found uh according to some of the the friends that they interviewed there.
>> Um the video that you obtained yesterday of the of her at that apartment, I think that's a different apartment. Did you see that video that police released of her like from a Ring camera?
>> Yes.
>> I mean, not the video, the picture. I think that's even a different apartment she was at where you got the video from, right?
>> It could have been. I I'm I'm not sure cuz I haven't compared them exactly, but the woman I spoke with who gave me the camera video said that her neighbor also had video of her as well. So, it there could potentially be two videos out there, but that was actually on June 4th. So that would have been a week before she went missing.
>> What did they make of the people you interviewed of the video? Like of her coming to Well, not just the video. They interacted with her. Like what what what did they think was going on?
>> Oh, >> at first they thought it was just, oh, this is just something crazy that happened in Lexington. They thought it was just a strange >> Okay, guys. Actually, Brian just dropped a new video. We'll look at it in just a second, but I want to show you this um what is being uh reported here. And he spoke with the um the PI.
Um Courtney is apparently a u a friend of Elena and she says, "She was our friend. She was my friend. She was someone's daughter and you took her from us, Brandon.
You knew you know what you did. It may not be out to the public, but it will be out rot in hell. And I'm going to show you this right here.
Um, Jennifer Michelle says, "These streets are talking about you, Brandon.
Word is you have dirt under your nails and not who you claim to be.
Interesting.
Okay. These are the these are the other neighbors from the fourth.
>> Uh when my lady come outside, she saw the lady still standing on the porch. He was sitting in front of our neighbor's door crisscross and she had the neighbor's package, but she's on the phone and I I can't tell if she's looking up something or if somebody's on speaker phone cuz I kind of hear something on the phone, but I don't hear any voices. Um, and I'm like I'm I'm staring at her and I'm like that that's our Door Dash lady. So, I go take my dog Potty. I come upstairs and it's really I'm like, "Do you know my neighbor?" And she's like, "No." And I was like, "Well, what are you doing?" You know, sitting there. And she was like, she's kind of like, she see, she's like, "I honestly honestly I don't know what I'm doing."
And I'm like, "Okay, well, can you please, you know, leave his stuff alone?" And she says, "Okay." And she gets up and walks down the hallway or walks down the stairs.
>> Okay. Here's something else that's very, very strange in this entire story. the location of the apartment complex.
>> That makes me wonder is that's what I want to know. Was she lured to somewhere?
>> That's where this video was recorded and the weird package thing happened at the neighbors. This is the um Overlook Golden Hills Apartments and it's only about 6 of a mile from the Planet Fitness.
>> Could be Hamitude.
>> That's where Elena was last seen on June 11th. Right.
Elena's home is not so close. It's like 6 miles away from the gym. So that's about a 12minute drive. So odd things are happening around the Planet Fitness.
And remember Elena is actually a personal trainer. Not necessarily at that Planet Fitness, but it >> Yeah, it was at a different Planet Fitness or No, not it wasn't at a Planet Fitness at all. I forgot it was at a different uh Let me show you this. I'm going to make this big as possible for you so you guys can see this.
This is where she was found.
>> It's very sad, you guys. Her name is Elena Katherine Moore. She was um >> We're going to go to Google Earth and look.
>> 39 years old. She went missing just a couple of miles away when she was last seen over there. And it's just really sad.
Um, she was disoriented because I think mental health stuff and that's where the body was. Do you >> you can see where the body was from the decomposition.
>> See, you can tell a body was there.
That's weird. Hold on.
Wait a [ __ ] second.
Okay, now that makes me really question. I just now thought of this. The way it's laid out long ways.
How is the body laid out long ways like that? If you fell just straight and who's to say someone wasn't giving her something to bring her into psychosis? Yeah, I think she was placed there.
I mean, look, you can see exactly how I mean, you can you can see the split down her legs even where it's lighter through here.
I don't like that.
I don't like that at all. How it just laid straight out.
Yeah, it's very steep. So, say you're just walking like this is just say you're like in the dark, right? And you see woods out there and you're not thinking it's a sharp drop. You see brush, you're just like, "Oh, I'm going to go over here." And then right there.
>> I mean, yeah, I can see that. I can absolutely see that. I can absolutely seeing it be an accident. Um, but damn. Like, why would she look I mean, why is she >> It's out there and you're not thinking it's a sharp drop. You see brush. You're just >> Why is she out past the guard rail anyway?
>> I'm going to go over here and then right there.
It's very sad, you guys. Her name is Elena Katherine Moore. She was um 39 years old. She went missing just a couple of miles away when she was last seen over there.
>> That's kind of weird.
I'm glad Sled is involved, too. Me, too.
Very glad Sled. And I think that they probably requested for Sled to be involved because um if there is foul play, they don't want to, you know, seem like it's uh you know, something going on here.
So Brian Inon, >> hey guys, uh, thanks so much for >> updated it.
>> There was crazy [ __ ] going on, right?
Trouble in the marriage that Alina was scared that um, she she said she was scared for her life and that there was crazy [ __ ] going on right now. That that's what Alina had told her friend.
So, I'm going to have the private investigator react to that. He's also going to give an update on the case, everything that he is learning. I want to hear what he has to say. He says an autopsy that is scheduled to happen this weekend. So, we will probably be getting um more information maybe on Monday about a possible cause of death.
Although sometimes if it's toxicology involved, that can take, you know, weeks and weeks.
>> Really, Lisa?
Um, a friend of hers commented her aranged husband had left bruises and poisoned a previous relationship but couldn't prove it happened to Alina.
Possible in my opinion and sus.
Wow. if that's if someone comes out and talks about that eco >> and weeks. But I want to play you this latest conversation with um the private investigator Henry Dukes >> uh where he explains a lot. I asked him to react a lot to what the friend what Sandre told me yesterday.
>> Uh and he sort of just gives uh a general update of what's going on right now in Lexington, South Carolina. So, I'll I'll talk a little bit more about some of my thoughts afterwards, but I first want to play for you guys my conversation with Henry.
>> Hey, Henry. Um, thank you for joining me again. I appreciate it, sir. Um, I just wanted to talk to you about sort of the latest updates uh with with Alena's case. Um, have you been able to find out at all sort of what what's going to happen next? I heard some rumblings that the autopsy will will happen this weekend.
>> Okay, I kind of break it down for you.
Thank you. Of course, law enforcement's continuing their investigation, putting everything together just like, you know, we would expect and appreciate that they do. Uh the coroner's office is also doing their investigation where uh the autopsy I have been told is supposed to take place on Saturday.
Now, as far as any information being released from the coroner's office, that will be, you know, from them. Um, I mean, you know, it could be up to two to 3 weeks, a month, maybe even longer for everything as far as the uh autopsy is finalized. Okay? But that doesn't mean that the corner won't release, you know, some information >> preliminary and I'm speaking a lot of that off of experience and then some of it off of facts that I have been, you know, u told. Um, I think the one thing we have to remember with the coroner's office is there is no positive ID, you know, that has been done yet. Okay. All that has been released at this point is that they have found an individual that has clothing on that matches the clothing that Miss Moore was was last seen wearing. So, you know, they have to get a positive ID completed and then they have to do the autopsy.
And from there there'll be toxicology reports that'll be done, you know, things like that, which of course takes a takes a, you know, considerable amount of time. And >> I will be very interested in the toxicology specifically. And I hope that they go above and beyond with the toxicology.
>> You know, that's another reason that it's not bad that the state law enforcement is involved in it. They have their own crime lab. They have their own um I think some of this is unless somebody uh agency decides to send it somewhere.
>> Yeah, I think he might be saying that just because he doesn't want to tip the husband off on maybe what he knows >> else. Um you know, Sled does the analyzation right there in house. So this stuff would go to them and then you know and of course they're not going to finalize an investigation until it's completed.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah, that that makes sense. And and from other you know all the cases I've covered, I know that like toxicology can sometimes take weeks and you won't get an official cause of death for quite some time sometimes. I guess what I'm a little confused by is though in terms of just identifying her, uh I would have expected that that would have happened a little more quickly. you know, not cause of death, but it seems like it would be more simple to just say whether or not it it's her.
>> Well, you know, and that I, you know, I guess that's a good way to state it like you did, but I think a lot of it goes back to the fact that none of us know the condition of the body they found.
>> Okay. If you go back to some stories, I'm sure you reported on where they discover a body and all they have is bones. It can take a while to do a positive ID through fingerprints, through teeth, um, dental records, so forth and so on. It's not, let's put it this way, it's not what we always see on TV where you walk into a room and they pull this thing out of a cooler and you look at it and go, "There you go."
>> Right?
>> I think there's some some issues.
>> Okay, guys, we got breaking news.
Breaking news in this case just announced. Thanks. Let me pull this up.
Okay. I was hoping that this would be done by the time the music played. Um 27 minutes ago. Lexington uh County, South Carolina. The body of a woman discovered near Old Cherokee Road and North Lake Drive on Wednesday has been positively identified as the missing person, Elena K. Moore. According to Lexington County Corner Office, an autopsy is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
Saturday at the MUSC in Charleston.
Additional information regarding the cause and manner of death is expected to be released on Monday. So, that'll be a big day for this case. Tomorrow is the autopsy. They will have the uh the more of the results, the what they call the preliminary autopsy Monday.
Authorities described Moore as 5'7, 120 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police said Moore frequented the Planet Fitness at 560 Whiteford Way. The investigators investigation uh revealed that she signed in at the location at July 11640.
Very interesting. She signed in.
So, she didn't have her phone in my Well, they could they could mean sign in by your phone, I guess you could say. But signed in, I don't know.
She was reportedly seen walking away from the Planet Fitness toward a wooded area behind Lowe's Home Improvement. She was wearing an olive green zip-up hoodie and black athletic shoes. A photo appearing to show more at Planet Fitness was later released by police.
Hm.
Okay. So, we do have a positive identity identification of Elena now. So, that's that's big. I mean, we kind of knew it already was, but regardless, um, yeah, so this is, uh, brand new with the PI Brian, >> maybe not the word to say issues, but I think there's some things that they have to go through a process to be able to in this case and as in some in other cases to be able to do the positive ID. But here's the thing, uh, Brandy. If you don't if you don't have a keychain, right? You don't have your car keys and you don't have your phone, I'm sure she might have, you know, just ask them up front to print you a temporary pass off or whatever.
Especially if you tan, you're only allowed to tan every 24 hours. Yeah.
>> Yeah. And I know you're obviously in touch with the family, working for the family. Have you gotten any information?
Um, >> I wish we did.
>> Like you mentioned that, you know, we don't always know the condition of the body, but I mean, she wasn't gone that long. I mean, I would imagine, you know, like when you say bones, sometimes that's, you know, people are missing for like months or years. H have they been given any information about the condition of the body?
>> Okay. Maybe, you know, me saying bones was I was just using that as an example.
>> Yeah, of course. I understand. Yeah.
Yeah. Yeah. But >> I mean, I'm going to have to say to you that based off of my experience, we were in day six of somebody being missing.
We had temperatures that were high.
We're in summer.
Decomposure can start it starts immediately.
Okay? And that's what you have to understand. I'm not saying they're they're how bad it was or anything else.
I'm just saying based off of experience.
I can tell you it wasn't just a point of walking down there and probably looking at a face and going, "Yeah, that's that's her. That's Miss Moore."
>> The other part is there's a certain amount of procedures that I think the coroner's office follows. You know, they might already know the answer, but they can't always assume that that's the correct answer until forensic pathology autopsy is done to confirm what they believe. That's the key word you have to look at right there is confirm what they believe. They believe that it's possibly Miss Moore because it is she, the individual, the body that was found is wearing clothes that are similar to the ones that Miss Moore had on. We now know it's 100% >> there is the body was found in a proximity area of where Miss Moore was seen at, >> okay? You know, on security footage video. So, when you take all of that and put it in, I mean, I have to support the corner's office for not coming out because I can tell you again based off of my experience, there's times that we found driver's license in deceased individual's pockets and it wasn't that individual.
So, that's the reason I'm saying that. I think that's what we have to, you know, we have to stay conscious and focus on is the fact that there is a purpose and there is a reason that everything is being done the way it is.
>> Yes, sir.
>> Accurate facts out.
>> Well, I mean, from what I've been told, um, how this is a trigger warning. I'm just going to tell you right now, from what I've been told, she was uh moderately to severely uh decomposition.
Um I heard that there was insect activity, maggots, that kind of thing. Uh, so you would probably know it would be her based upon her hair um and what she was wearing and if she was wearing shoes or flipflops if they were found on her or close by.
Yeah, we're watching a jelly. We're watching a baby.
So, um, you can you would probably know based upon her hair and stuff >> to the public.
>> Makes sense. Someone sent me a video um, and I don't know how they got it, but of of the area where um, Alina was was found, and it looked like it was kind of off of a bridge. Um, do you know that area? Can you describe it at all? like what do you know about about sort of the area where or I say Alina we like you said we're still obviously waiting for it to be confirmed but you know what I mean what can you tell us about that area >> okay what I'll tell you is the same thing that I stated last night if I remember correctly because I'm knowledgeable of this area I think that's 14 mile creek that we're talking about >> and if you look I know you probably seen it that picture >> where Lexon PD and law enforcement has the intersection closed There is a guard rail and then a cement >> uh curve.
>> So, Lexington Police Department just put out the uh the same thing. The body uh positive identification from the Lexington Coroner's Office. The body of a white female was discovered near Old Cherokee Road in North Lake Drive on June 17, 2026. Has been positively identified as missing person Elena K.
Moore. An autopsy scheduled to conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, June 20th, 2026.
Additional information regarding the cause and manner of death is expected to be released Monday, June 22nd.
Okay.
I you see that's that kind of bugs me.
I'm going to be honest with you because you have not got her toxicology back yet.
So, how can you determine the cause and the manner if everything comes back fine but her toxicology is not back?
That bothers me. It feels like it's a little bit rushed. Now, if you know, uh, it shows that there's a heart condition or whatever. But to me, you cannot make that determination until you have all the testing back based upon, you know, you could say our preliminary investigation is giving, you know, this might have happened, but we have to wait for the toxicology before and the other testing before we are able to verify everything there. Yeah, there that's what I'm saying. There might be an there might be an obvious reason, but if there's not like I don't like that, you know, like to me it feels like it's moving a little too quick.
Um, please note that determinate determining a final cause of death of manner is Okay, I spoke too soon. I apologize. I haven't read this. Uh please note that the determining the final cause and manner of death is a thorough process that may take several days or weeks to complete. Until the time until that time, no further information regarding the investigation will be released. Okay, I spoke too soon because I was just reading it as we learned right there. That makes me feel better. That makes me feel better because I've worked for several funeral homes and have seen a lot and I'm just like you cannot determine that until all of your testing is back. So that makes me feel better. Thank God.
Um, I just can't help but believe she may have been hiding down there, especially if she was hearing voices telling her it was safe there and no one. I don't know.
H Okay, let's continue here.
>> And there is a bridge that goes across again what I believe if I remember is 14 Mile Creek.
That's where, you know, if you look at the white line between there and the curve, there's a small area that you could walk.
>> I didn't get access down the road.
>> Um, it is. And you I think we probably have looked at the same video is the the the one where there's a pavement marker and a nail looks like it's drove in the ground.
>> Yeah. And there's like some bugs that I saw that I noticed. Did you see like bugs moving around on the ground? That's the one I saw.
>> Yeah. I wasn't gonna say that. You did.
>> Yeah. Yeah. I know. And I don't mean that in like to be in a grotesque, but I noticed it in the video. There were there were like bugs in the soil.
>> Right.
>> So, I guess it is the same video. Yeah.
>> Right. Exactly. And but the nail and then when you look over, you can see the other markers on the ground that that it you're absolutely right. If I'll say it in a small Paul Harvey version, you're absolutely right. That's the area that you're talking about right off of that uh the little overpass, bridge, whatever you want to call it.
>> Is that um so that's not like deep in the woods or anything. So So she was discovered kind of right off the roadway. Would that be right?
>> Yeah, I would I would take and agree with that. Now that again, always remember I try to stay with facts. the facts that I'm stating this off of is the facts the same thing that we saw off of that video >> and also you know other things that I've observed >> but that would be accurate in my belief based off of the facts that I have seen.
Did I go out there? Have I looked over?
No, I haven't. But I think that it's right over the side of the little overpass bridge. Do you have any idea just from knowing the area like how high up that because it's hard to tell in the video. Is it is it high up that if she fell or I mean is it can you do you know >> without going out there and dropping a tape measure? I understand that it's I think between 8 and 12t.
>> Okay. And how far is that from the >> 8 and 12 ft? I mean 8 and 12 feet should not kill you.
It could I guess depends on how you fell or whatever, but uh yeah. And sassy uh sometimes they can tell if it's postmortem or not.
>> Publix.
>> Oh, I would say quarter mile at the most. Uh 10 minute walk.
>> I want to know how how busy is that road at night?
Because this is the thing.
This is the thing. If she's walking on that road, you can't tell me that someone didn't see her.
You can't tell me someone didn't see her.
How busy is that road at night?
Hey, Judy. Jude.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. Um Um and if you want me to, I can give you a little better understanding.
When she saw at that Publix >> walking, >> if you went from right there and walked down, >> you're talking about 10 to 15 minutes at the most. And that's even if you were stopped to tie your shoe.
>> Okay. So, it's all pretty close together. Correct.
>> Um, yeah. It's such a sad I just wanted to say again, I mean, it's >> I know your heart go my heart goes out to her family and it's it's I know we're talking about it like, you know, you're a former investigator. I'm a reporter.
We're talking about it like kind of trying to figure it out, but at the same time, I just it is so sad. You know, you you um you're you're are you working for her husband? I mean, is that who retained you?
>> I am working for family and friends.
>> Okay. Family and friends.
>> And then also, I mean, I'll go ahead and say it. I know Elena. I know her husband. I I've known him for years. Me and her husband worked together in law enforcement. Okay. He spent a career in law enforcement. Then he became a private investigator. I'm a private investigator.
Of course, as soon as I knew about this, the phone call was made.
>> Yeah.
>> Okay. Um, you know, at the end of the day, the statement has been made by family and friends because this is what I did my career was investigate and also find people that didn't want to be found. So, you know, family and the friends have made the statement that if they wanted if there was anybody they wanted to be out there doing this, that was me.
>> Okay.
>> Yeah. And you've been very helpful to us, too. So, you know, helping us understand kind of what's going on and with your law enforcement experience.
So, thank you for that. Um, >> let me say one more thing >> is the key thing also that was my job was not to investigate. That was law enforcement's job. My job was to assist in any fashion I could to try to locate Miss Moore. The other part of my, you know, responsibility now in a sense is kind of defunking some of this false narrative that's being thrown out there because of people that don't know the facts. So, you know, that's just kind of, you know, where where it's at at this point right now. But, you know, you have a family that's grieving.
>> Yeah. Understood. Yeah. and and you know I'll just they've said that there's no at least at one point there was no foul play suspected that her husband is not a person of interest have said um so what what is her husband like I mean you mentioned that you guys work together how would you describe him he's a great individual I mean I can't say anything bad about him okay every time that we worked on something together and even after um me retiring him starting the his private investigation business and me being a private investigator, we've not only worked together, but we have also helped each other. Okay? So, I mean, and then that's the reason I say it the way it is and you know, I'm sure there's somebody going to come back and say, "Oh, it's a conflict for me to be involved in it."
No, it's not a conflict because I know the family. I know the the the individuals. That is a great help to be able to assist in any information or assistance that law enforcement happen to need.
>> How is he doing?
>> I mean, he's not doing good at all. I mean, he's grieving. Um, him and Miss Moore have been together and and and it, you know, the reason I call her Miss Moore is not because it's that's just my professional side, okay?
You know, they have been together for a number of years, okay? They built a life together.
They got married.
You know, he's grieving. She's she she was 39 years old.
>> Am I correct on that when I said, was it 39?
>> 39. Yes, sir.
>> 39.
>> He planned on spending the rest of his life with this woman.
Okay. the woman that he loved. And you know, I joke with him all the time that I don't know what she saw in him. It was a joke. But again, >> I can see that >> Brandon is grieving.
Okay. The loss of his life, his wife at this point in his life. I'm 65 years old.
I mean, granted, you know, we we could all leave this world at any time when the good Lord decides, but what we have to look at is normally we don't have to bury our children. Our children bury us. That's always where it's worse. He's got to figure out what he's going to do tomorrow. But he has to do that one day at a time, one hour at a time, one minute at a time. He's got to figure out how he's he's going to pick himself up and pick his life up and continue.
>> Did you know we obviously a lot of people have talked to the friends Sandra um who's been out saying that you know that there were issues in their relationship that it sounds like according to her they were going to separate um and that essentially she's saying that um that uh that Alina was scared of her husband.
Um, what do you make of that? Is that something you've heard about?
>> Well, let's go back to the video of the Uber Eats delivery if that's what it was.
That video was disturbing.
Okay.
I don't think there's any hidden hidden fact that there was something going on based off if you want to analyze just that video.
Okay. If this individual Sandre was such a close friend of Elena's, how come law enforcement hadn't interviewed her? They've interviewed other close friends. They've interviewed family.
Oh, he's taking shots at her. Eco.
>> I mean, at the end of the day, I think you have to take the old words that she said during your your and her interview.
She said, "I'm sick." So, I think by right there, we have to leave it at that. She doesn't know the facts. She admitted that in your interview.
Again, if she was such a close friend, law enforcement would have already talked to her. She has no factual information to provide.
>> Does anybody got the coordinates exactly where she's found, where that bridge is?
And at the end of the day, I think she needs to do like everybody else is doing is stay in her lane.
>> Yeah. And I mean, you know how relationships are and I know you you were you knew them like you said, but um I mean it's possible, right, that there were issues that you didn't know about.
You know, people can be very private with those kinds of things.
>> Absolutely. I mean, come on. I mean, you you people don't know if there's problems between me and my spouse. You know, Brandon and >> I'm sure there are >> Elena >> allegedly >> we're very private people to a certain extent.
I'm not saying that there might not have been something going on. Okay. And don't take that out of context, please.
>> Yeah. And that's exactly right. She meant she's sick over losing her friend.
Uh, he makes me mad now. I'm so glad her friend came forward. You can tell the friend's very upset about this.
She didn't mean she's sick over, you know, like she's physically sick.
She's sick over this.
>> What I'm saying is that's private.
If it had rose to the level of somebody's life being in danger, I think that it would have been being dealt with.
I mean, that's that's the factual side of it.
Okay. Do I know the nuts and bolts about their whole relationship? Absolutely I do not. But what I can tell you, Brandon and Elena were two outstanding, nice people.
They were building their life together.
Um, yeah, it's it's it's sad. I mean, it's it's they're young, you know, it's like >> it's really sad. Um what about you know the um was she you know the friend says that she was in I think >> in just a minute I'm going to show you guys on Google Earth. We're going to look around there. Um I got it Mary. Thank you. Uh he was supposedly looking for her but he is not the one who found her. But remember they said he found her car.
He was like a mental facility uh at one point recently. What What do you know about that?
>> Nothing that I can speak on. I think that some of that let let law enforcement, let Lexington City, let the state law enforcement division do their investigation and, you know, reveal all of those facts as it comes to be facts. Okay, >> we got a new member.
>> I mean, I don't >> We got a new member, Alexa. Good to see you. Thank you so much for becoming a member, my friend. Really do appreciate you. Welcome to the Pearl family, y'all. Welcome, Alexa up in here. Up in here.
Alexa, welcome my friend.
Oops. Oops. Sorry about that. Okay. Um, who do we got here? Um, Degan says, um, I'm sorry, but this guy, the PI, seems to have a biased opinion based upon his relationship with the husband. He's got this emotional attachment, right? Um, it doesn't feel like genuine investigation coming from him. He was a PI, by the way. So, just saying yes, he's a PI. Uh, they worked in law enforcement together.
Good comment. Uh, didn't the chief say her car was never missing?
Yes, he sure did. He sure did. But then it was allegedly um at the CVS. It was towed from CVS. Then it was allegedly towed from Lowe's.
And there's just some weirdness. weirdness here.
I mean, this could really go any way.
The thing I want to make sure is just that there is a thorough nonbiased investigation.
>> See that? And that's why I'm glad Sled is on it.
That's why I'm glad Sled is on it.
Kelly, thank you, baby. Good to see you.
Thank you so much. Can you just get the five members?
All you're doing, girl. What are you doing? Thank you, Miss Kelly. Appreciate you, babies. You received one of those memberships. Make sure you give our girl, Miss Kell, a big old thank you.
Thank you, baby. Good to see you.
You leaving now? God bless you all. Good night. She dropped it and left. Boom.
Out. Kelly says, "Out."
There you go. Um, yes, the autopsy and the toxicology will tell a lot. Absolutely. Absolutely. And I want to hear I want to hear more from Kelly's not forgive me. Elena's other friends.
That's what I want. I want to hear from Kelly's other I want to hear I said Kelly again. I'm reading Kelly in chat.
I want to hear from Elena's other friends. I want to hear from Elena's husband as well.
But clearly on the 31st, according to the friend, there was a lot of quote [ __ ] going on. according to what she said Elena said to her.
Yeah, I think I might do that. Um, okay.
I might >> where that is I can't there's not that is not something I would have permission to talk about.
>> Understood.
>> One second.
>> Um, is are you in contact with Brandon a lot? I mean, are you guys talking quite a bit?
>> Off and on. There's a a very close family friend. Well, more than one very close family friend who is basically a go in between between me and him in a sense. Just so I'm trying to get it where we don't hear that ring anymore.
>> Oh, no problem. I know you got a lot of calls coming in.
>> But there's kind of a go between just so because he's dealing with things. um you know of course he's not so there it's kind of but there is constant communication between me to him from him to them to me you mentioned rumors and things you wanted to clear up um how is Brandon handling that I mean because I mean it's just you know I mean there's a lot of stuff going around right now if you look online if I mean a lot of people are kind of suspicious of him and even though police have said nothing about that and that he's and that he's not a person of interest and we're all waiting to see what the cause of death is. Like you said, the investigation is ongoing, but how is he dealing with that?
How would you deal with it if people were online saying that you killed your wife?
That's devastating.
I can't say it any other way. It's unnecessary and of course it causes nothing but more heartache and pain for somebody to have to live through >> with SLED. They if you can explain it because you know that you know you know the way it works there because you're former law enforcement. Is it is it normal for Sled to be called in or is is that because he was a deputy with the sheriff's office?
>> I think that the best way for me to do is explain it.
>> Sure.
>> He was a deputy with Lexington County Sheriff's Office. Okay.
He's a private investigator, which means he has interaction with aspects of other of law enforcement.
Okay. So when you look at that alone, there has to be a question that has to be answered because he was previous law enforcement.
Who can who who who should be the proper agency to investigate this?
I think there's a couple key points that would make it understandable of why SLED is the right agency to handle it. I'm not saying nothing against Lexington PD.
I'm not saying anything against Lexington Sheriff's Office.
They're capable of conducting this in investigation and carrying it to the end.
State law enforcement division is a supporting agency.
Okay? Any agency in the state of South Carolina can call them in to assist in any investigation, be it an involved officer shooting to anything. Okay. So, that's one reason you sit back and you say, "Okay, Sled's probably investigating." He used to be in office, you know, let's chunk it SLD.
>> So, people are now saying, "Oh, thank you, Patty. Thank you so much, baby.
Appreciate you very, very much. Thank you, babes.
Good to see you, Miss Patty."
So, um, now people are saying, uh, in these comment sections that he was allegedly driving her car according I'll show you guys in a minute.
Funny. He realized that Sled should investigate because of conflict of interest, but he doesn't see it for himself. Mhm.
New drinking game. Every time he says okay.
Okay.
He said working for family. Friends and family from from the friend. No family.
He wasn't friends with her family.
Yeah. Well, from what has been reported, Elena allegedly had an estrange relationship with her family, going under the radar in her car looking for her, maybe.
Um, this person says she was apparently seen at Wolves on Monday. That's a gym that she worked at. Don't know about the car keys. They apparently were separated and did not live together. She's adopted from Russia. She was estranged from adoptive parents allegedly. Uh not everybody's family is close to their kids. Car was towed to the house. He was allegedly driving said car around also.
So, she was at Wolves, but people say she had just gotten out of Three Rivers that day on Monday, the day she went missing.
Sorry. Uh, last my gym people saw her was Monday, which makes sense if she was in Three Rivers and released Thursday.
Hm.
Uh, very interesting. This friend of hers says claims to be a friend of hers. I just want to make that clear. Uh, she says, um, I don't give a what anybody says. her arange husband she's saying in her opinion did something and the LPD has blood on their hands. I don't know about that yet. But I'm not going to blame anybody just yet.
All I'm saying is that there is some strange stuff going on. You know what I mean? Joe Marie Joanne, thank you so much, baby, for your support. Thank you for your stickers. Love you, darling.
appreciate you very very much.
So, this guy is the hubby's friend but not friends with Elena's family. Uh, she has no family. So, it goes back to just her husband and his family. Is this one-sided or what?
Kind of feels that way.
>> Then you turn around.
>> I just feel really bad because there Elena's family. she was aranged and it feels like there's no family there to advocate for her. You know what I mean?
whenever he's allegedly, you know, from there and his family is from there and that from according to the friend, uh the the family didn't really talk to Elena that much and it just feels like there's no family advocating for Elena and that's what is really sad for me.
The timeline is all over. Yeah.
And so um you know the whether we want to admit it or not I'm not saying but many times if someone is former law enforcement or current law enforcement or a PI they can get special treatment or privileges.
I'm not saying that's happening here, but it does seem a little bit unequally yolked.
>> And you look at it, I don't know this for sure, but I was pointed out, I think it was last night or night before last, that that bridge and that little area right there is not in the jurisdiction of Lexington City.
It's in the jurisdiction of Lexington County. I don't know that for sure, but that was told to me and I said, I'm not sure, but you're right because I know there's certain places where the town >> has one side of the road, but the other side's still in the county for whatever reason. That's another reason, if that is true, that Lexington City would pass it off to the state law enforcement division or Lexon County.
The other point, the key point is that what sled has it their ability, they have the crime lab. They have 24-hour crime scene is good. What they do >> investigators all over the state of South Carolina.
>> That's good.
>> Okay. You know, they're able to travel anywhere to conduct interviews.
They have different offices all over the state. So, in a sense, when you look at it, hold on a second. Wait a second.
Did he Wait a second. That thing he posted, he says, "This is Elena."
Was that on his profile or was that on Elena's profile?
I really want to know that probably an does anyone know when he posted this is Elena, was that on his profile or was that on her profile?
What did Donald say? Actually, we make fun of the most Most of them uh sucked when they were cops. We didn't cooperate with them ever.
How about that? How about that?
Donald's telling us how he really feels, aren't you, Don? Um, okay. It was his. Okay.
Okay.
>> It's a good idea. M >> that's what I thought it was his but I was just making >> Is there anything else Henry you think is important that you want people to know?
>> I guess there's one key thing that's important.
>> We have a family.
They have a husband that's grieving for a loss of a young lady.
We don't want to lose focus of that. But we also have to pump the brakes and let law enforcement do their job.
They are capable. They are well doing their job to the best of their ability.
Let the coroner's office do do their job. She is doing an outstanding job.
She's staying in touch with the family.
She's communicating with the family.
>> Okay. Helping them.
>> Okay. Forever >> through their grief to be able to handle it.
>> So I think what needs to be done Yes.
>> is everybody needs to pump the bra.
>> Yeah. Uh, well, this is real nice of him to say, right? Everyone needs to pump the brakes when you're not pumping the brakes, sir. You're not pumping the brakes.
Uh, thank thank you, uh, Miss Wallen.
Appreciate you. Thankfully, she has friends to tell her story. Yes. Yes.
And, um, I hope they all voice their opinions. I really do. I really do.
Um because if she doesn't have family there then uh you know they advocate for her.
You know what I mean? So I agree. But uh you know he's saying you know I mean most people publicly are nice, right?
Um, but your girlfriends or your guy friendss or whoever, they're the you talk to your relationship, you know, especially women, they talk to their, you know, about their husband or their boyfriend or whoever. They always talk about their relationships, what's going on, what they're happy with, what they're unhappy with, what the fight was like, or the argument or whatever.
And you know I mean 11 days 12 days after her friend says things are really bad right now. According he says Elena says things are you know going off the rails right now. Can't talk to you about it right now. She's dead you know 12 days later.
Coincidence? Maybe because if there was mental health things going on, it's very possible.
But also, if things weren't great in paradise and she didn't have her phone and she didn't have her car, uh, why was someone punishing her? I mean, at least let her have her damn phone.
You know, if she's got some mental health going on, you know, I can maybe see not giving her her car. Uh cuz, you know, that's a that could hurt someone.
Uh so, but something's there's just some things wrong in this timeline.
They said husband changed her profile picture on her Facebook.
Huh.
I've heard that. I've not seen like a receipt on it though. I've I've I've heard that.
So I don't know. breaks. Let these people do their job and stop trying to make wild accusations with no factual basis.
>> Yeah, we'll just have to see, right? I mean, we got to wait for the autopsy and see where things go. Maybe we'll learn more >> beginning of next week. You think You think maybe we'll get some more information? I'm not going to be s, you know, it wouldn't surprise me just from past experience for the coroner to come out um you know after Saturday and make an announcement of an ID.
>> Yeah.
>> I don't know what information she would provide.
>> Well, I don't know when Brian did this interview. clearly did it either yesterday or earlier today, but they have positively identified of this being Elena Moore >> with that. But it wouldn't surprise me for that to happen because, you know, think about it. Everybody's concerned.
Is it her or is it somebody else?
>> Yeah.
>> They're going to want to know that information and that and I think she's trying to do the best job she can to get that information to the people as soon as she can.
>> Well, and also for the family. I mean, like you said, >> it seems like it's probably her, and I'm sure they know that, but to have some finality would probably also be helpful for them.
>> I think it absolutely. I mean, you know, then they get, you know, then they have to go in another stage of, you know, taking care of things and they have to, you know, plan what they do next as far as arrangements, >> you know, things like that. And then, you know, it I think that's I think you understand what I'm saying and I think the people do also.
>> Yeah. Yeah. Well, I appreciate Yeah.
Sorry, what were you going to say? But the but the family and Brandon are surrounded by a bunch of people that love both of them, thought the world of both of them, and is now allowing him to have some people to lean on to try to get him through every minute, every hour, every day of this tragic situation.
>> Well, I appreciate you taking the time to talk with me again, Henry.
>> Not a problem at all. And uh John Henry, reach back out to me for any more clarification.
Um you know, I'll be more than happy to help. I mean, I am limited, don't get me wrong. I mean, you know, I'm I think some of it, the information that I have now at this point is because I have a, you know, connection with the family and that's the reason I'm saying that there's But again, just to sum that up, just if feel free to reach back out to me. I'll give you clarification.
>> Okay. He's not a good PI in my opinion.
He's not a good PI in my opinion because he just said some of the some of the information that I have right now is because of the family.
You know that I do have a good connection with them. Well, Elena doesn't have family there.
So, and you're [ __ ] on the friend in my opinion. So, they gave you what they wanted to give you, not what you found.
There's a difference.
They give you their story or the information they want you to know.
But what did you find, sir? That's the difference.
So, I don't like him now. Mm-m. I don't.
Nope. Not really liking him now. I liked him in the beginning, but I ain't I'm I'm just not There's just some biasness there in my opinion.
Check the email, lovely.
Has his name tattooed across his chest.
Oh, wow.
Okay, I'm gonna shake >> if I can and if I know it.
>> Okay, thank you, Henry. Thank you, sir.
>> Bye. You have a good day.
>> Bye.
>> Thank you. Bye.
>> I appreciate Henry for taking the time to talk with me. Um, you know, it's a relatively small town. You know, I had Mills Hayes on yesterday, who's one of my co-workers who's from Lexington, Kentucky. I'm sorry, not Kentucky, Lexington, South Carolina. Thank you for the yesterday.
>> And, you know, everybody sort of knows everybody. And Henry said, you know, he knew um Alina and he knew her husband and he was former law enforcement and they worked together. And again, back and watching, if you didn't see my full episode yesterday with Alina's friend, Sandra, who gives a different story than what Henry is saying uh about what Alina was going through um leading up to this.
Lo, how how does a woman get their name tattooed across their chest?
You got a you got two bumps there. I don't understand. Of course, I'm not real up to par with women anatomy, so I don't know.
Do you have it above or below or do you have it over the hump?
Asking for a friend >> time. So hopefully we'll get more information soon if the autopsy is happening this weekend. Uh maybe on Monday we'll get some kind of update.
Although toxicology as we discuss >> it takes a long time for toxicology. Hey Jude. Hey Jude. Thank you for gifting the pearl necklace my friend. Really beautiful darling. You received that pearl necklace. Make sure you give our beautiful Hey Judy Jude a big old thank you. Oh my god Justin above.
One hump is the O in Lori.
Had to get creative.
So in Lori, are you saying the nipple is the O? Is that what you mean?
Is is the Is the Is it L O L L O?
So, you got an L there and your nipple's the O and then you put an L between you there and then you got the other nipple is the O. I'll send you a pick. Yay.
Okay. I won't share. Um, thank you, Deb. Appreciate you, baby.
Thank you so much for your support.
Narcissists have caused so many of us uh to look like we are mentally off. Mhm.
When we're extremely smart, never had a Yes. Uh, you know, Yes. Yes. They Sorry.
Yet they have. Yet they go to the family. They go to the cops. It's very scary. Yeah. They want to make you feel stupid, right? They want to make you feel stupid.
And Justin genuinely got excited.
Thank you so much, Deb. appreciate you, baby.
Thank you so much.
Okay. All right. So, I got to show y'all some stuff here that we've got to talk about. That we got to talk about.
Okay.
So, with the Ring camera, let me get this one out of the way here.
With the Ring camera, thank you to Brian and Ashley there, by the way. Okay. Um, Sarah Elizabeth said, "A week before Elena Moore went missing, this is our Ring camera of her. It shows you our Door Dash lady dropping off the food and Elena pretending she lives there.
uh poses for the picture and then turns around and rings our Ring camera and pretends to be our Door Dash lady. She was She then tried to come in after John and acted confused. 10 minutes later, I went to take Bella potty and she was sitting in front of my neighbor's door.
I asked her what she was doing and she said, "Honestly, I don't know. Something seemed very off and I really hope she turned up safe and sound," which we know she didn't. Now, the bracelet, uh, fingernails and the sunglasses are confirmed from a picture she posted of herself on Facebook.
So there's that. Okay. Now we're going um that the temp came in 67. This is something also um I was thinking about uh based on this comment and it makes me wonder a little bit because remember there was a tip that came in at of where they allegedly uh claim that they saw Elena.
Right. And someone wrote here, "Thanks.
I find it odd that a tip came on 6:17 at noon. How would this person know she was there?" Uh, she would have been she would have been there since the night she went missing. Something very odd.
And I have to say I agree with that, right? Because think of this. I mean, sometimes people wait before they call, but there's this 6day search.
Oh, is it your birthday, Cloops? We got to sing Cloops. Happy birthday.
There's this six-day search for her and you know this person had to know in that small town that they were looking for her.
So, why did this tip come in 6 days later when they had seen her walking in the area allegedly 6 days before?
Guys, make sure you say happy birthday to our cloops.
Happy birthday, dear Cloops. The world is your oyster. It's up for you to find the pearls. And guess what you did?
We're your clam shucker 101.
Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday, dear Cloopy.
Happy birthday to anymore.
So, it's it's a little that to me that's a little weird.
It's a little weird that this um You're funny, Deborra. I love it and love you all. We love you too, darling.
I live here. They didn't look a ton.
They didn't look a ton. Uh that is true.
That is true. Unwrapped by Candy. They they did not. In fact, they said I think by day five or something, they said, "We're not going to look anymore until we get a tip." And then the next day a tip comes in, right? That's what that's what happened.
Um, so maybe that's why they called the dip in. I don't know. But if I seen someone uh you know all over the town that was missing and I thought it was them I would call pretty quickly. I don't know was what's her last name did she keep?
She kept her name. Uh, she kept her name.
Um, his last name is Slice like the drink slice.
Okay, now let me show you this.
One second here.
Give me a one second as I show you.
Okay.
All right. Check this out.
This is a video by TZ.
This is This is a video by TMZ and this is Elena Katherine Moore seen acting normal before the disappearance. Credit goes to TMZ.
Tick tock.
>> There she is right there.
You're not >> What are your thoughts?
>> What are your thoughts? Do you think she's >> Look, you can tell her two nails are gone right there. You see?
Do you see right there? You can tell that her two nails are gone right there.
Just like the friend said, this video was the 31st.
What are your thoughts on this?
She looks absolutely fine there.
Wait a second.
No, I was I was going to say, is that the olive top? No, she was having a conversation with the woman in blue or green or whatever. Oh, right there.
She looks like she's, you know, there those three are having a conversation right there.
I wonder.
She looks very relaxed. I mean, she looks just like, you know, a girl catching up on her gossip. You know what I mean?
Her friend is telling the truth. I think she is. I agree. I think she is.
That's the last time her friend saw her.
Yes, at this time. Yes, absolutely. Sure is.
So, wanted to show you that. Um, what else do we got here?
Someone says, "How did she act at the gym? Did she interact with anyone? Me and my husband have spare keys for each other's cars. Did they? Where was her car towed to? and where is her family?
Uh, were they local or close? Um, someone wrote, "No, he had a key. That's why he had a toad. They were separated."
Uh, someone wrote, "From what it appears, a lot of people are afraid to talk about what they know. Afraid of retribution. I'm not from South Carolina. Don't know any of the parties involved, but that's the vibe I'm getting.
Um, someone says Lexington's the good old boys.
Um, you know, I want to when this car was towed.
That's what I would really like to know as well because um to me that seems a little weird. A little weird.
I just don't know why you would tow her car that quick.
And like why have it towed?
Why have it towed? Why don't you have your friend like drop you off where the car where you found the car or something and then look for her around that area or something.
I don't know. That just seems a little weird to me.
You know what I mean? Okay. So, I'm going to show you guys the area that uh she was found in. Let me Is this a video? One second here.
Okay, we're going to go to W RDW.
>> News at 11 starts with continuing coverage in the ongoing search for a missing Lexington woman. Lexington police confirming a body was found earlier today matching the clothing district description of 39year-old Elena Moore.
>> This is video near Old Cherokee Road.
Earlier today, you can see >> when they had these tents up near there, that's when I was like, uh, this is not good.
This is not good. We're going to go there in just a second.
>> Earlier today, you can see multiple law enforcement agencies in that area. Since then, we've learned several new key details in the case, but there's still a handful of questions left unanswered.
>> WIS reporter Tanner Gil Martin covering the story for us all day long and provides new information for us tonight.
>> Just find people in the woods here. You know, it's a safe town. It's a safe place. It's very scary. Like, how did she get there?
>> Wednesday marked six days since 39year-old Alina Moore was last seen on surveillance video in the Lexington Public's parking lot. She was reported missing by her husband the next day, June 12th. Search efforts would soon follow. The Lexington Police Department providing updates on search locations and footage of more in the Lexington area. Law enforcement setting a search site near Lakeside Middle School, later moving to the intersection of Old Cherokee Road and North Lake Drive after receiving a tip. Lexington Chief of Police holding a press conference sharing an update to the investigation.
At approximately 2:48 p.m., we found an identified body that fits the clothing description of our missing person.
>> That's you unwrapped, Becky. Indie. Oh, bless you, honey. Bless you. Thank you for doing that.
>> Still waiting on the corner to identify her.
>> The coroner has not yet identified the body. One woman who claims to be a friend of Moore was by the scene this afternoon. Although she didn't want her face shown on camera, she didn't hide her emotion.
>> I cried. I'm devastated. You know, my spirits in an uproar, as is the whole community. Um, but she was a well-liked, well-loved person.
>> Reporting in Lexington, I'm Tanner Go Martin.
>> And again, we are waiting for the coroner's office to positively identify the victim. Calls that because >> she has been positively identified just as the last little bit. Um, one question someone wrote here on Facebook and I I do find it very interesting. I'm going to say again, I don't know what happened uh to Elena, but to me that there is a lot of unanswered question, Justin. If the car was towed, then uh any evidence found in the car would be compromised?
Yeah. Uh potentially. Mhm. Yeah. Um, she said the husband selling tickets two days before she goes missing. He didn't sell them. He gave them away for free.
Doesn't ask the public to help find her, towes her car, and is a PI. I've read the police had extensively searched that area. So, either they hadn't extensively searched it or uh she was moved there recently. Uh, unalived there recently.
who made uh the anon anonymous tip and what was her to uh time of death. Uh she seemed familiar with the apartment she was at uh comfortable enough to pick up the food.
Now, if she was out of her, you know, if she was having some mental health, then you know, um, when she read it, she said, "Oh shit." Which made me think that the food was ordered for the per. See, I don't think anything like that. But what I was getting to is the tickets. Like, clearly sometimes you give you give away tickets because you can't make it. Something comes up or whatever.
Um, and sometimes there could be relationship trouble and you're just like, screw it. I'm not, you know, give it away. Um, but from 100 Old Cherokee Road to three to her address is a 2hour 1 minute walk.
Now again, if there there are reports that she actually may have been staying with her husband after she got out, there are reports that she might have been staying with friends.
Um, so the husband put uh some concert tickets a couple days before she went missing.
uh for free.
Um and he just wrote uh I've got tickets to I forget where it was uh the date and time. First come, first serve. Whoever wants them first gets them free.
But but again now like if she was having mental health issues um what like why is she out here walking in the first place? Like you know you to me like I I'm just trying to think like if I if you were fighting with your husband or your wife or whoever your boyfriend your girlfriend and then they started having like mental health issues, right? You might be mad at them, but when that happens, you're going to be like, "Oh my god, they need me."
So, you know, I'm not going to let her or him walk around the street.
You know what I mean? I'm not going to let them walk around on the street uh if they're they're not right in their head.
right now. To me, she was it seemed like she's she was definitely going in the direction of her home, but I don't know.
Okay, I want to show you this one and then we're going to go to the Google Earth and I'm going to show you on Google Earth mental health issues and he took her car. Now, you know, sometimes if I guess if you know he was might have been using that as a way to allegedly he had uh taken things from her before. That's what the friend says.
But I can also see if she wasn't in like the only way I can see him taking her car without being a jerk.
is he would have to be she would have to be mentally incapacitated as in she's not right in her head.
She could hurt herself or somebody else.
Autopsy is tomorrow. Autopsy is tomorrow.
However, the phone thing is really troubling to me as well because I don't care what condition you're in up there, you're getting a phone. You're getting a phone because that's essentially a lifeline.
You can't have your wife or your aranged ex-wife out with no car, probably no money, and no phone.
Like, that's that's messed up.
All right, here is a video of where she was found as well.
These are for you, baby girl.
>> And again, um I just want to say like you can tell the way she was laying, you can actually even see where the legs was. Um, to me it's very weird that she was laying like this just straight up and down.
But that's just me. Just the way that they found her.
You see the orange markers?
That looked like a thing when they put you at is okay. Is that the creek?
That's the creek.
Okay, that's the creek right there.
>> These are for you, baby girl.
>> Now you see orange. Orange. And there's orange down there.
That looked like a thing when they put you have Yeah, it is.
It really is. Very sad. Very sad. Thank you, honey.
appreciate that. It's very very sad.
Very sad, man.
Um, okay. Let me Is this the whole interview? I think. Yeah, this is the whole interview for this. Then we're going to get to the the Google >> lady come outside. She saw the lady still standing on the porch. She was sitting in front of our neighbor's door crisscross and she had the neighbor's package, but she's on the phone and I I can't tell if she's looking up something or if somebody's on speaker phone because I kind of hear something on the phone, but I don't hear any voices.
And she was like, she's kind of like, she seemed she was like, "I honestly honestly I don't know what I'm doing."
And I'm like, "Okay, well, can you please, you know, leave his stuff alone?" And she says, "Okay." And she gets up and walks down the hallway or walks down the stairs.
>> Okay. Here's something else that's very, very strange in this entire story. the location of the apartment complex where this video was recorded and the weird package thing happened.
>> Holy [ __ ] look at this. I just found London Nicholls said, "My dad saw her arguing with a man in the Planet Fitness parking lot, screaming at each other the day she went missing.
The guy looked like he was on roids.
Bright red, not fat, but uh huge uh fattish muscley.
She was at a bar about a week before she went missing, which was probable cause for her husband of to done something.
But she still was at the gym on the day after he sold the tickets. Look into the PF parking lot. What's the PF? All Planet Fitness parking lot cameras, please. And the man whom she was arguing with did not look like her husband.
She also had been in three rivers recently because of psychotic breakdowns. Well, we don't know about that, but she was in a hospital. uh seeing things, etc. Either this man could have done something to her or her husband, or she could have wandered off.
It could be anything. That's what's sad.
I didn't hear that.
H So did I. but didn't know it was confirmed on cameras. There's they only know I mean this is what's weird to me is was this before she went in?
If this happened if this happened and it's just not a crazy person on you, you know, Facebook or whatever.
Did this happen before?
Yeah, I'd like to know that, too.
That's a good question as well. How did they know that she went to Three Rivers?
Yeah.
So sad, man.
Uh, I'm sorry about the last post. That photo was taken a few weeks ago.
There are rocks there at the bottom.
I was told a few days prior of her reported missing, she filed a police report and she believed her husband was tracking following her and wanted it to be on record that she was afraid that he was going to unalive her. If they were separated, how did he know to report her missing so soon? From what I understand, he tried to um or a friend called him.
He didn't post her missing when she has over 5,000 followers. Crickets. Uh rumor has it he isn't speaking to police and has an attorney. He used to be a police officer and now as a PI, he uh would know exactly what to do, which seems like someone is sending law enforcement on a wild goose chase. Maybe he has nothing to do with it, but this is also why your character is very important. Every single person I have talked to believes he has something to do with it because of the person he is.
I pray she is just scared and hiding.
I know her husband and she has been having mental health issues exacerbated by him the past month. He was a dirty cop and law enforcement knows his history.
That's their wedding.
signing the papers.
Um, okay.
All right. Here's one more video.
It's very sad, man. She's full of life and young.
It's very sad, you guys. Her name is Elena Katherine Moore. She was um 39 years old. She went missing just a couple of miles away when she was last seen over there. And it's just really sad.
Um, she was disoriented because I think mental health stuff and that's where the body was. Do you see? You can tell a body was there.
Yeah, it's very steep. So, say you're just walking like this is just say you're like in the dark, right? And you see woods out there and you're not thinking it's a sharp drop. You see brush. You're just like, "Oh, I'm going to go over here." And then right there.
>> Okay.
>> It's very sad, you guys. Her name is Elena Katherine Moore. She was um >> Okay. So um All right. So here is right about where she was found.
And let's see.
It's I think it's right here.
Yeah.
Right here.
Yeah. Okay.
You can see the You can see the creek behind it. And then here's this walk. Now, what's interesting to me about this is she's familiar with this area.
She's familiar with this area, right?
Wouldn't you agree? Like she she knows this is so does this guy, right?
Like the the thing You see the sign here 14 mile creek. Now this is okay.
My question is is she walking on the side of the road here, you know, at, you know, past 9:00 at night.
Is my mic screwing up?
Thank you for telling me my mic. Thank you. It It switches.
It switches out sometimes. I don't know.
I got it now.
Okay. Is that better?
Is very scary I feel. Okay. So, let's see here. Let's think about this.
What time did this person Oh my god, it's 7:44.
Um, what time did this person see her?
And my question is, All right, let's go down here.
There's a house here.
What neighborhood did they see her in?
Cuz I don't see a neighborhood.
You know what I mean?
So, someone said that they seen her in a neighborhood.
I mean, where what neighborhood?
It's an odd spot to be walking alone. It is.
Don't know, Susan. We don't know.
Let me see here.
Let me see here.
see what it says about the tip.
The official confirmed tip was basically this. Someone from the community told Lexington police that Elena Moore had been seen on the 11th in the area of North Lake Drive in Old Cherokee Road.
That tip caused officers to fire uh personnel to the search to the wooded areas along Old Cherokee Road, and the body was found at 2:48 p.m. in the area.
Some reporting adds that the chip placed her in the area between 4 and 6 p.m.
Hold on.
When was this? June 17th.
I think they got that wrong. Hold on.
That was the same day she went missing at 900 p.m. So, someone saw her there before she went missing that night, but the tip led to the body today.
Authorities say they ret received a tip that someone saw Elena between or sorry on June 11th between 4 and 6:00 p.m.
The tipster told cops they spotted her on our old Cherokee.
The tip is sus to me.
Look at this. Look what TMZ says.
Authorities say they received a tip that someone saw Elena June 11th between 4 and 6 p.m. The tipster told cops they spotted her in Old Cherokee area.
Law enforcement arrived on the scene at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and found the body a little before 300 p.m.
Now, what the hell is that about?
Now that's I if she was hit by a car, you would they would know it. They would know it pretty quickly.
Looks more like she was dumped there in my opinion. Someone from the community called the tip in. Now where is this community in there? That's what I'm saying. That's exactly what I'm saying.
I mean, so here's the thing. Like, I can see someone saying with these cars here that they saw her walking, but I don't see a neighborhood.
Oh, I mean it couldn't have been that way cuz she was walking from this way.
There's a house there.
Gas station there.
But again, like I mean there's sidewalks here, but it's not like like where's the neighborhood?
There's Walmart.
And this is where they had this is where it was shut off at. And this is where they had the tents all up here.
This is from February 2020 of this year.
The way they made it sound was like it was like someone from a neighborhood saw her walking.
Yeah, especially after you've exercised.
Let me see what Brian says.
He said something new.
See what he says here.
Yeah, we we just saw that interview.
Yeah, he hasn't posted anything else.
Oh, well, let me see if he did something on YouTube. Sure.
Friends say Alina Moore was scared for her life.
What did the autopsy report say she died from? Which she hasn't had an autopsy yet before. Was this before TBI was involved? So this this isn't TBI. This is sled.
I'm just a little confused on Let me see here.
See what this says.
Lexington, South Carolina. Okay, let's see what the actual police said about this tip.
Okay.
The Lexington Police Department received a tip from the community that Elena Moore had been seen in the area of North Lake Drive and Old Cherokee Road on June 11th.
Officers and personnel began an extensive search of the wooded areas on Old Cherokee Road at 1:30 p.m. Now again, this tip comes in at noon.
At noon, and they're out there an hour and a half later.
Does Laney want to tell me something?
Yeah, she had been there. She had been there.
I'm in Lexington. And if it's where I think their house is on below down below the bridge.
Okay. But okay, this is my question, Laney.
Like there's no houses this direction, right? That's commercial.
There's a house there, but she was walking this direction. So, she hadn't made it up here yet, right?
where women are assaulted at Walmart and talking to other locations. Yeah.
Very weird.
Um I don't know. There's just there's Give me a second. Need to refresh this.
No, I don't think she was like sleeping under the bridge or anything at all.
Where is her hand? Beside the water bottle. There seems to be something draped over her hand, like a loop to a bag or lanyard or keychain or something.
Looks like a drawstring book bag, maybe.
I don't get what they're saying.
It's very interesting if um there's plenty of that already. Respect her and Brandon. How is it asking what's on her hand? starting. God, these people on Facebook um at resident in the area did say there is a tent city behind the Walmart, etc. Doesn't say look like her sunglasses in Planet Fitness.
So, look at this. Oh, did I accident?
Let me show you this.
Now, she didn't have her sunglasses on a Planet Fitness.
Right. Here it is.
Right there.
Um, wasn't she dressed rather warm for summer?
Uh, yeah. I think that's a good point as well. I mean, it's what, 90°.
She's got a like a jacket on.
Is sunglasses in her hand?
Oh, right there.
There's an arm and a fingers.
There should be subdivisions one past all those trees if I think it's where I think.
Let's look.
Okay, there he is.
Look at this.
So, right right there's the bridge. Right there's the bridge.
One second.
I want it 3D.
Let's go back to 2D.
There's the bridge.
There's the creek. Now, there is houses through here. But my question is this house is down there too, but that's more going up.
Like if she's walking from this area, like this road, how would she get over here and then get over here? Or how would she get up here and then go back?
That still just it just doesn't looks like a bag in her hand, but then there wasn't one.
I That's what I think. If it's anything, I think it's someone was driving and saw her.
You know what I mean?
Um, this is Oh crap. This is North This is North Lake Drive right here.
And this is old, what is it? Old old Cherokee.
This is uh Old Cherokee. And this is North Lake.
And then she was found in this area.
again. Um, why would again why, you know, unless she was mentally like why would she be walking past the guard rail?
Someone saw she was aimlessly walking around.
Maybe.
I don't know.
Mhm. It is. Um I think they meant they received a tip from the community of Lexington.
And that's that's the sad thing, right?
Like I can understand if you think she's mentally something's going on, not a car. If you think that, not just being a jerk, but the phone thing is a no. No.
Unless she was trying to get away from someone. Yeah.
My concern with the friends was the drama in social media posts. Several girls were going after each other. Yeah.
Yeah, I saw that as well. All right, guys. Thank you all so much for joining me. I do appreciate you guys are absolutely amazing.
Appreciate you all. I will be back in about an hour from now. um about nine o'clock.
Um we are going I don't know. I've got two labs that I can do. Uh Nancy got three and Jack and Lily. So, uh we will see.
I don't know which one I'm going to do yet. I've got two already together. So, is Sherry coming back in a little bit?
But I'll be back in just a little bit.
Okay. Oh, see you then later. Okay. Got you, baby. A body discovered in the remote grave site in Nevada was identified Wednesday as a woman who vanished from a Walmart parking lot earlier this month. Authority said, "Really?
You just never know anymore. God, it's crazy."
All right, guys. I'll see y'all in a little bit. Much love, everyone. God bless.
