This video illustrates how economic laws like supply and demand cannot be overridden by political ideology, using the fictional example of a communist mayor in Seattle who failed to prevent Amazon from closing its Fresh stores, demonstrating that when governments tax and regulate wealth-creating entities too heavily, businesses will relocate, ultimately harming the communities they claim to protect.

Seattle's Mayor FINDS OUT after Amazon fleesAjouté :
The rain beats down on the glass towers of Seattle, but the real storm is happening inside City Hall, where a proudly communist mayor just got hit by a brutal dose of economic reality. For years, she stood at the podium and peddled the socialist fantasy that politicians can dictate the free market.
She literally promised the public that grocery chains, {quote} would not be allowed to abandon common communities.
She truly believed that certain planning could override basic economics, but the law of supply and demand do not care about her progressive feelings. While the mayor was busy printing communist pamphlets, Amazon decided to give her a master class in actual capitalism. The tech giant, which single-handedly built the economic engine for modern Seattle, looked at the balance sheet and pulled the plug on its Amazon Fresh stores. One of the wealthiest corporations on the face of the earth looked at its own corporate backyard and decided it was no longer worth the hassle. They did not ask for permission, they did not submit a request to the commune, they just packed up and left.
The immediate fallout on the grounds is a devastation picture of leftist government in action. Regular everyday employees showed up to work only to find themselves completely blindsided by locked doors. Entire neighborhoods had instantly lost access to fresh food, turning thriving communities into government-made food deserts overnight.
This is what happens when ideological zealots run a city, the vulnerable people that claim to protect are always the first ones to suffer.
Walk down the blocks now and you see a spreading plague of empty storefronts and dark windows. This disaster is not just about groceries and it never was.
It is a textbook example of what happens when a radical government mis- too hostile, and too unpredictable for business. Amazon did not fail Seattle.
The city's proudly communist leadership failed Seattle. Because when you tax and regulate the people who create the wealth, they will eventually take their money somewhere else. Now, the excuses have officially run out and the mayor is left holding the bag for her own failed utopian experiments. Leftists always think a golden goose will stay around to be plucked forever. But the engine is quietly packing up and driving away.
This is not just one company making a smart business decision. It is the opening salvo of a massive corporate exodus. The facts do not care about your feelings and the fact is communism destroys every single city it touches.
