I'm so glad they exist. It's not their fault there are long wait times, right? I don't think most rheumatologists are bad doctors. I really don't. But there is a structural problem. A typical appointment gives your doctor 7 minutes with you to check your labs, adjust your dose, make sure your diagnosis is actually correct, and then move on to the next patient. 7 minutes was never designed to be long enough to be enough for a PMR patient and what you're dealing with.
