Rarely would a buyer say, "I only want to live in that particular suburb in that particular street." That is possible sometimes, but most don't have the luxury of that. Many will say, "Well, I'll look to live in those three or four suburbs." So, that way what you're doing is building up product knowledge. You're meeting buyers that are looking at different geographical precincts. You're boosting your own profile at open for inspections, prospecting, cold calling, building your database. And also, when you're doing market appraisals, you're getting to know more about architecture, style of home, the name of buildings, the aspect of apartments. So, core markets and core focus areas are absolutely pivotal when it comes to prospecting.
