Antiques and vintage items purchased at flea markets, yard sales, and estate sales can sell for significantly higher prices on eBay, with items like cast iron cookware, medicine bottles, and military knives often selling for 10-20 times their purchase price, demonstrating that proper sourcing and eBay listing can create profitable side businesses.

How much are these antiques worth? How much do antiques and vintage sell on eBay?Added:
Hey, it's Clay the Georgia bottle picker here on YouTube. I haven't done a what sold video in a while, so I figured I would make one and show y'all some of the better items that have sold in the last month or so. Uh, this is just a fraction of what I've sold, but it's some of the better stuff. And this is some of the stuff that I have bought at flea markets and these different antique shows that I go to.
But go ahead and do me a favor and give me a thumbs up. If you're not subscribed, go ahead and subscribe to the channel. I appreciate every one of you. I try to read all the comments.
Let's get into this video and see what all I sold in the last month or so. Some pretty good merchandise. And I'm going to be looking at my phone if you see me looking down to see what I sold.
And if you would leave a comment down below if you'd rather me to video to make a little short video of each item as it sells and I'm starting to pack it or if you'd rather do it like this and I just pop up the the uh sold comps that sold.
I can do it either way. Let me know what y'all like and whoever whichever way I get the most comments is the way I'll try to do it. The first item that sold is a World War II knife, MK1 fighting knife. And I bought this knife. I bought a truckload of stuff from this lady a while back. It was probably first of 2026. I went to her house and bought a lot of stuff. And one of the boxes had about five or six knives in it. And I think I gave her like $150 for for the knives, but there was some rare ones in there. A couple of rare ones. But this one sold for $1428 plus the shipping. Next item is this brass bail. I bought this at the antique mall. I think I got it from Dusty. I don't remember what I paid him for it.
Probably $15.10 or $15. It sold for $40 plus shipping. And this here is a Griswald frying pan. It's the nickelplated 704P. I got this at the I got this at Peaches the Beaches and I bought that big lot of cast iron. Sold for $90 plus shipping. That was a good sale. I think I had like 30 or 35 in it.
And this here is a little shot glass measuring cup.
It's that Whitenol Tutum Etch glass.
I got it I think for I don't remember what I paid for it. I got at the flea market for three or $5.
It sold for $25 plus shipping.
And this here's a lot of axes. I've been cleaning out my shop, my warehouse here, man. And I've had stuff piled everywhere. Still got a lot of stuff piled. I've been loading it up, hauling it to Wild Bills, selling it to him real cheap. But I've been finding a lot of stuff to list on eBay that I forgot I had. And these three axes. I found like 15 axes when I've been going through this stuff. And I'm sure I'll find more.
But I put these axes in some vinegar and cleaned them up and listed them. They sold for $50 plus shipping.
And these axes here didn't have a name on them. And that's how I when they don't have a name, I lot them up because the shipping's so high. People, they'll buy them in lots. That's the best way to sell these non-branded axes is if they don't have a good design to them or shape is to lot them up. This is the lantern I bought down at the Ramona flea market. The video hadn't come out yet, but I paid $30 for this lantern, and I didn't note anything about it when I bought it. I just thought it looked good, and $30 sounded cheap.
sold for $158 plus shipping. And this is a lantern that I found when I was cleaning out my shop. I can't remember where I bought this lantern, how much I paid for it. And it sold as soon as I listed it for $68 and plus the shipping.
And this is a bottle. I I've got a bunch of medicine bottles with they're Georgia medicine bottles. They got Georgia towns on them. I probably got 1500 or 2,000 of these medicine bottles with names on them. And I found this.
I've been going through them and organizing them and I found this one.
I've already sold two or three of this same medicine bottle. It's from Savannah, Georgia. Hosman's mixture for Garia. Sold for $100 plus the shipping.
And this here's one of those tarpentine hack weights that goes on the end of the tarpentine hack. Um, I don't remember where I got this or how much I paid.
Probably 10 or $15 is what I paid. sold for $50 plus shipping. This was a heavier one. A lot of times them heavier ones bring more money than the light ones. This here's one of those Swiss Army knives that I bought at the uh car show over in Moltry. I paid $15 for it.
It sold for $60 plus shipping. And this is that little reel that I bought down at the Ramona flea market. This video hadn't come out yet. I paid 10 for it.

And this is an axe that I got down at that Ramona flea market. The same day I bought this lantern and this fish or this reel that goes on a cane pole.
I paid $7 for this hatchet or axe.
It sold for $110 the next day after I listed it. It's made by Council Tool Company. And I've never had this axe before that I can remember. I sold it with the handle on it. Had the short handle on it. If they're 27 inches or them short little short camp axes, I'll just uh sell them if they're a good axe with the handle on them. And this is a amber biders medicine bottle. This is a big bottle.
It's uh probably about 9 in tall. Sold for $120 plus shipping. It came in that big lot of medicine bottles back when I bought them.
And this is a milk bottle I bought down at the Ramona flea market. paid $20 for it. It sold for $47 the same day I listed it.
And this here's some of those corks that I bought at the antique fishing tackle show that they had in St. Augustine I went to earlier this year. I bought a whole case of these. I think I got 76 of them and I got two or three dollars a box tied up in them and they're selling good. And I just figured I'd throw these in there and show you. They selling I was selling lots of three for $30 or one box at the time for $15 plus shipping.
And this here is a king cutter that I bought down at the Ramona flea market.
It I paid 15 for it. It sold for $60 the same day I listed it. And this is a wooden crate sold for $38. A Coca-Cola crate. These yellow ones. It's in pretty good condition. The better condition they in, the more money I ask. But that was $38 plus the shipping. And this is another one of those knives that I bought in that box of knives that I was telling you about at the start of the video. This is a USN KBAR fighting knife, World War II. Sold for $125 plus shipping. And this is a clock that I bought. I paid $20 for this clock at a thrift store. And I've had it in my shop for about six or eight months. I just keep moving it around. I I put off listing it because I didn't want to ship it. These big items like that, they just take some time shipping it, packing it to ship. But I paid $20 for it and I listed it for $70 and it sold within two or three days of me listing it. And this is a brass heartshaped lock, railroad lock. I think I got this at Peaches the Beaches.

And these are two axe heads here that I found when I was cleaning out my shop.
They don't have any kind of names on them, but I put them out there in the vinegar. Cleaned them up and listed them as a lot. They sold for $50. These brought more money, $50 just for two because the shapes of them were better.
And here's a milk bottle that I sold.
They come in that big milk bottle lot that I bought here a while back. That milk bottle collection.
I paid $5 a piece for the milk bottles.
I think $5 and $10 for some of them.
This sold for $47.99 plus shipping.
And this is another one of those nickel plated uh cast iron skillets. This is a Wagner.
It's a number nine. Sold for $67 plus shipping. I had about 30 or 35 tied up in that. And this is another skillet.

All of them don't, but a lot of them bring really good money. And this is that Coca-Cola thermometer. I have my wall set up. I was going to have as a backdrop, but they all sold. I don't have anything for my backdrop anymore.
Everything sold. But I priced it high and they they all sold. I guess I might need to start doing that to everything.
Try to keep it and price it high and it'll sell. Not always. But this Coca-Cola the cigar thermometer sold for $382 plus shipping.

And this jug I listed it and I had about three or four offers on it and somebody offered me $167 plus the shipping. So I went ahead and sold it. I think it's worth probably more than that because of the size of it after I done some research on it. And this is a lot of four claw foot claw and ball foot, but one of these don't match.
One of them's different. And I bought these in a big box of stuff. And these sold for $50 plus shipping. This is from World War II, 1946 with the date on it. And I I love it when I find these. They sell good. I I don't never really test them. And that's come in a lot of stuff that I bought.
when I bought the signs, the thermometers and signs and stuff. It's in that video. I made a video when I bought that stuff. But I sold this for $8369 plus shipping. And here's another one of those knives that come in those boxes of knives that I bought for $150. I bought the whole box for $150. Sold this one for $99.

And this thing sold I listed it for $99.99 10 minutes after I listed it. Sold. Probably sold it too cheap. And this is that ice pick that I bought over at the jockey lot in Anderson, South Carolina. When I went there, um I paid $50 for the Scotch display and this together. This sold for $36 and some change. And that Scotch display sold for $75, I think. But I I've already put it in a video. Here's some old paint brushes. Vintage paint brushes. You know, I've sold a good bit of vintage paint brushes over the years.
Some of them bring a lot of money, but these were new old stock. And I bought a bunch of these. I think I got these from Dusty. I don't remember what I paid him for, but I bought a bunch of them. But this lot right here sold for $40 plus shipping. And here's another lot that I got from him. They sold for $70 plus shipping. And here's another lot that I got from him that's $40 plus shipping.
This is the Pepsi thermometer that I had hanging up on my desk on my wall. I was going to use as a drop a backdrop for my videos. Pepsi thermometer. I lowered the price and auctioned it again. Didn't get no bids. So, I just listed it as a buy it now or best offer and somebody offered me and I think I started the auction out at 150, but somebody offered me$120 for it and I said, "Let it ride. Time to see it go."

I listed mine for $70 and somebody offered me $59 for it and I just let it roll. I don't have anything tied up in it. Well, that's everything that I sold. Well, that's some of the better items that I've sold in the last month or so here on eBay. eBay is where I sell most of my high-end items. Unless it's just too big to ship, I'll take it to the antique booth over there and put a good price on it. But I do appreciate everybody watching the videos. Couldn't go out picking today. It's Saturday. It's corn season. We're going to show you how to how we put up our corn.
This is creaming it. How we cream it. I just cut both ends off.
pull the shucks off and then get the bulk of the silk off by doing that.
Then I got me a little brush.
Brush it. And I do that till I get me a stack of it where I can just do like five or six at a time. I put it in the water and then I keep it under this water and ring it back in two with my hands.
That gets the rest of the silk off. This is the easiest way to silk it in my opinion.
And it's ready to cut off the cob now.
>> And then we my wife cuts it off the oldfashioned way. Cream and corn the oldfashioned way.
And this stuff is so good about December and January when you can't find no fresh corn. Get this stuff out of the freezer.
Got it all cut off the cob. That's all the shucks and cobs.
A bushel and a half.
