PlayStation is now BEGGING People to buy the PS5 | New GTA 6 MARKETING PUSH is HITTING EVERYONE

[00:00:00]Hey guys and welcome to another brand new video. In this video, we actually have some pretty crazy stuff when it comes to the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, GTA 6, and ideally the fact that GTA 6 will actually come out throughout this year. Now, as you guys do or do not know, dude, I want to play this game. I hope most of you guys are like, definitely let me know if you guys are hyped up for GTA 6. I've mentioned it on a few times throughout the years in this channel. I think most people pretty much are. So, if you guys are, drop a sub.

[00:00:24]I'll maybe even make some gameplay videos on it when games comes out. But nonetheless, there's some intriguing things that are happening. Now, a lot of people are skeptical on when the game's actually going to come out. A lot of people are skeptical if it will even come out this year. We've seen multiple delays is one of the biggest games in the entire planet. And right now with the development cost now reaching into the literal billions of dollars for this game, uh I think the expectations are pretty sky-high. Now, we're hearing some contrasting stuff, mainly on the idea that some of the workers are working extreme overtimes. they're on massive crunches and they're hoping the game will actually come out. But right now, we're on this part two where it seems like there's a massive marketing push, especially in regards to PlayStation that where it seems like there is a proper uh marketing combination like partnership with PlayStation 2, which is kind of bad for Xbox and kind of bad maybe even for PC cuz God only knows when we're going to get it on PC.

[00:01:12]Hopefully sooner than later. But this leads towards a lot of intriguing comments because now we're seeing uh things like post and notifications through the PlayStation ecosystem that people are kind of begging them to upgrade to the PS5 or PS5 Pro or as well make sure they lock gun in for PlayStation on the GTA 6. So, let's go talk about it. There's a lot of stuff to break in down. This is mostly a good thing. Like if you guys are like you guys are trying to read the tone in this video from the title or whatever it might be, dude, I'm excited because as long as GTA 6 comes out this year, your boy is going to be eating pretty good.

[00:02:02]Let's maybe go and show you guys the more intriguing gossip because this is this is, you know, I'm not sure if it's good or bad. I don't think it's that bad, but it's an intriguing conversation. where PlayStation has now been sending notifications to PS4 players telling them to buy a PS5 before Grand Theft Auto releases on November 19th of 2026.

[00:02:23]Now, we're seeing these literal popups like you lally see Grand Theft Auto 6, the you know the cover art, everything.

[00:02:29]You are a top Grand Theft Auto 5 player.

[00:02:32]So, they're basically doing like marketing. we see you playing games and anyone who's played say GTA 5 in the last one or two years or has played the game a lot like you guys can even see they're saying you are a top Grand Theft Auto player when it comes to PlayStation these ecosystems microtransactions game game gameplay time they're tracking it all like I mean literally if you open up your PlayStation or stuff like Steam like I mean if I l open up Steam right this second this is probably the perfect case in point go into my library I find a game I don't know like count let's say Counter Strike over here like you can see it's like hey you've played 1,9 900 hours. Like these companies like Steam, Xbox, PlayStation will be tracking all this stuff. Uh this is my PC life over here. If anyone's from Twitch, you guys understand. But they they're basically being like, "Hey yo, dude, make sure you get your PS5 if you're on PS4, PS5 Pro today to get ready for when Grand Theft Auto 6 launches in November 19th of 2026." And yeah, dude, people are like people are getting hyped. I'm getting hyped up for this game. I almost have to feel like I have to adjust my webcam these next few days as I'm adjusting my videos as we have a brand new PC setup.

[00:03:32]Don't mind me. I make a lot of videos here on the second channel. So, if there's any small scuff, just let me know. Like, send me a tweet or YouTube comment. Uh, but it'll all get absolved, you know, pretty soon. But a lot of people are saying there's no way in chance that this game will be delayed if Sony themselves are officially notifying people about the date. And I would agree. I think throughout the next like last like one or two days, we've seen a huge influx of GTA 6. Uh, so it seems like it's pretty much confirmed. Like, we don't know. There might still be a delay. I really hope there isn't. I mean, unless it's need needs it, then sure. But right now, it seems with all this marketing and deals with PlayStation is big. How is there still zero marketing for the biggest game ever to be released? I think that's this is literally the marketing. Like, I sometimes people say stupid stuff over here on Twitter. Like, this is literally marketing, bro. Like, what do you what do you mean? How is there still zero marketing for the biggest game ever released? Like, this is literally marketing, bro.

[00:04:21]Like, I I don't I don't know how this is not more our marketing. This is PlayStation.

[00:04:26]like the service provider saying you play Grand Theft Auto 5, get ready for Grand Theft Auto 6, buy a PlayStation, bro. Like they it literally has the game's release date and an option to buy the consoles like like some people and some people online are very low IQ. But anyway, also people are saying too this is why PlayStation whack Xbox will be better on Aisha too as well. And they're think it's going to be like a GTA 5 roll out. First release will be the worst edition dropped at the very end of the console generation.

[00:04:54]updated version released on PC a year and a half later enhanced version released on PS6 2 years later. So, we'll have to kind of go and see. We'll have to see. But, nonetheless, there's been a lot of stuff coming out these last few days. Uh there's also more marketing, too, because PlayStation mentioned GTA 6 on their earnings call. Now, throughout these next few days for my subscribers here, we're going to be covering up more stuff on this PlayStation uh you know, the earnings. Like, that's like the big company from Sony. And then you have the PlayStation executives being like, "We're doing this and this."

[00:05:21]There's some AI videos. There is some PlayStation 6 stuff. There's a lot. So, I hope you guys will look forward to it.

[00:05:28]But yeah, they're basically marketing like they're literally marketing GTA 6 now on these like big slides with investors and people they're talking to.

[00:05:35]I already put my webcam, but they'll have like goai Soros that just came out, Wolverine Litter on this year, Marathon, which is uh and obviously GTA 6. So this is once again PlayStation kind of marketing Grand Theft Auto these last few days out here and other pictures too as well saying I start off the week with San Francisco to check out Assassin's Creed Black Flag Reync. I want to play this.

And they're saying on we're so basic things saying on the magazine side of things we've basically shipped our next issue and we're so excited to reveal that redacted GTA 6 redacted GTA redacted GTA 6 redacted GTA 6 will be gracing its cover next week. But don't tell my bosses I told you that GTA 6. And also here's even more stuff saying upgrade now to PS5. This is very similar to what we saw on this previous tweet over here. Uh just slightly different, you know. Uh you know, it just it's like the same marketing thing all at once. Like you guys are probably seeing this all together. Upgrade now to a PS5 as a 58.

[00:06:34]So yesterday and it makes it rounds online and because you wish list Grand Theft Auto 6. Grand Theft Auto 6 is on your wish list. get a PlayStation 5 today to be ready for when Grand Theft Auto launches on November 19th. So, we're seeing multiple marketing pushes out here. And even some people are saying this is the beginning of something extraordinary. They can't wait to see what they have in store for us.

[00:06:53]I'm super excited. Can't wait to for trailer 3 alongside the pre-orders. And I think this is great. So, like they're kind of seem like they're not really super sure if it's listed or not.

[00:07:02]They're saying next level deals begin May 13th. And fans are already speculating that GTA 6 pre-orders can maybe go live, which would also be huge.

[00:07:08]I'll let you guys know. And on top as they are covering a big game next week, so it kind of seems like this marketing push is slowly but surely coming out here. This is also one of the first times PlayStation's removed everything off their stores. People are just getting very excited. I think it's likely that Rockstar recently notified Sony that GTA 6 will face no further delays and that marketing will kick off soon. This would explain Sony's inclusion of the game in their financial report as well as tonight's global PS5 upgrade notices. I am so hyped. I'm getting extremely hyped, too. I'd love to stream it. I'd love to play it. Like look forward to it. I think I'm going to be looking forward to it. Now, some people say it's nothing new that they're sending out emails like this. They already did it back in January, but that was also like a few months ago and makes sense that Rockstar and Sony have a partnership, but this honestly looks completely random. I don't think so. Like I I hate people online that they do this. Like maybe just timing wise they're just doing it randomly. I guess maybe. But like these are these are like hundreds of people in marketing teams and trying to set this stuff on up. Like you don't just go and ping notifications out to many people online and like have analytics unless there's something going on with it, you know? At least in my take on it. Uh but yeah, there's even more like Sony send more of these more notices to PS4 users.

[00:08:27]You guys can just see like there's multitudes like you have like the emails, you have like the stuff in the stores and like these other images out here as you guys can see. you played a good game in PS5. You know, we're cracking up. But they're getting with hits from 2025 like Clear Obscure, Expedition 33, Arc Raiders, Goio Tire, getting ready for the most anticipated games of 2026, including Soros, 007, Neo, and so much more. That was the perfect time. You know what I mean?

[00:08:51]Like, so I mean, like, I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but there's definitely a specific GTA countdown for it. So, yeah, they're mentioning the stuff in the earnings calls. They're treating the game like an exclusive because there is a partnership deal. Now this is kind of the bigger deal to you saying take 2 cos's Grand Theft Auto expectations are terrifying.

[00:09:07]Uh over here from Jason Shrier the upcoming video game is expected to be one of the biggest entertainment releases of all time. And this is also factoring like movies uh songs like all of this stuff. This is going to probably be one of the most profit profitable things ever. I just want to rock a quick uh what was the most profitable movie of all time? So I think it's Avatar at this point, right? Let's see. Uh, highest return on investment, My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

[00:09:36]Okay, that gross. They spent $6 million.

[00:09:39]Okay, that's not what we're looking for.

[00:09:41]Paranormal activity. Uh, highest absolute franchise value was apparently $10.2 billion in box office revenue and $42 million in merchandising sales. But we just want to know one movie. There's like a lot of a lot of stuff for Star Wars. A lot of stuff. Or maybe that is just like the 19 they said franchise.

[00:09:58]I'm not sure. Uh Avatar 29 2009 is the highest grossing with $2.92 billion.

[00:10:02]Okay, this is exactly what we want to see. And then Avatar was at or Avengers Endgame was at uh 2.8 billion. So I I think almost without a doubt GTA 6 will crash $3 billion. It made a billion dollars to make the game. GTA 6 has made a lot of money over time. I think almost without a doubt throughout GTA 6's life cycle it will be much more bigger than this. So just good to know. They're kind of saying, "The chief executive officer of Take 2 says, "The goal for Grand Theft Auto is to deliver something that's never been experienced before."

[00:10:32]I'm excited. The new Grand Theft Auto has been in development for more than 8 years by a team of thousands of people, too, as well. One of the most expensive games ever made, will be released only on the PlayStation and Xbox consoles initially with a version for personal computers expected offered later. Once again, there is, I believe, a marketing deal with PlayStation as of now. Uh, so it will be on Xbox, but I'm sure most the sales marketing trailers, even some of the trailers from GTA, I think even said capturing the PlayStation 5. Like that is a huge, huge, huge, huge endorsement. Uh, this is big for PlayStation, especially the PS5 Pro.

[00:11:05]That's a separate video, but it's all very similar. Uh, has overseen a lot of these big releases over the nearly two decades on the job, but not have been as massive as Grand Theft Auto 6, which is expected to be one of the biggest entertainment launches of all time when it arrives on November 19th. Anything less than an earthshattering blockbuster would be seen as a disappointment by analysts and investors. The stakes are high for the crime title developed by Take 2's Rockstar subsidiary. The company has already delayed the release twice from its original scheduled debut last year. I think here is our goal is to deliver to consumers something that's never been experienced before. Zelnics did an interview with Bloomberg News last week at the industry's interactive uh innovation conference. Being on the sidelines but pretty close to the front of the sidelines is very very exciting and terrifying. So, Grand Theft Auto sold more than 225 million copies only right behind Minecraft. And it seems like at least on PlayStation, this will probably be a bigger one due to their partners partnership deals. So, crazy crazy stuff. They've been in development for a very long time. They're expecting 25 million units in day one. I would not even be surprised. Like, I almost would be surprised if they're profitable in this game by the first week, let alone microtransactions and everything else.

[00:12:09]Like, this is literally GTA 2. So, I'm excited, dude. Like, there is a lot.

[00:12:14]They basically said, "Yeah, we pretty much gave them an unlimited budget and then he exceeded it on how much money they spent on this game." But it will probably make like it's GTA, dude. Like these are the once in a generation games. Like this is the game you do put the time, money, and effort into for sure, dude. Although they're kind of basically saying like for them they will do PC later on, but mainly this console like PlayStation, they have this marketing deal and it's basically PlayStation. They said a release for PCs would perhaps make up 5% of their overall sales to as well. Uh so sometimes PC can be bigger. I think it'll be bigger this time, but Rockstar always starts on console because I think in regards to a release like that, you're judged by serving the core, which is consoles, aka PlayStation, like literally serving the core consumer. If your core consumer isn't there, then they're not served on first and best.

[00:12:55]You kind of know hit your other consumers. Basically saying, no, no matter what, Rockstar probably is going to go in console first, and that's why they're working with the biggest console that will most likely have a 100 million consoles sold by the time this game comes on out. I'm excited. Like it's kind of crazy that PlayStation's kind of begging for people to buy the game and update their game, but I mean at the end of the day, dude, people are going to be buying the Pro, buying the console.
