How to sign ‘Accident’ in ASL (American Sign Language)

[00:00:04]Um there are two different signs depending on if it's just uh a small mishap, like you spilled the milk on the on the floor or something. It was an accident, okay?

[00:00:16]Um that sign would be with your Y, you'd bring it up and touch the the chin.

[00:00:25]Accident.

[00:00:28]>> [snorts] >> Okay? Now, if it was a vehicle accident, a car accident, or something, um the two uh index and middle finger curved, okay? Will come and it's like two vehicles clashing together, okay?

[00:00:47]Car accident.

[00:00:53]Accident.

[00:00:54]So, you have oops, accident.

[00:00:58]Car accident.
