[00:03:53]Um everything else is going to stay the same. I just have to change my um my channel name. So, I I it's some somebody somewhere I don't even know where she is actually.

[00:04:09]And uh like I said, has had the name copyrighted. So, again, if you see anything um Baskets Designed by Crystal, just know it's me, formerly Basket Cases.

[00:04:35]It It kind of uh kind of bummed me out, I think, when I first heard about it. And then, you know, I started thinking, "You know what? God, it's just a name.

[00:04:54]So, I'm just getting on here letting everybody know that we're in the middle of re- rebranding. But really, it's just the name. So, um you you're going to hear me come on and say this quite often because I kind of just want to get the word out. So, if you guys if somebody starts questioning and you guys see it in the comments, let them know that it's still your girl.

[00:22:59]Um you know, the cubicles and the shelves where I can organize everything. So, I had stuff all on the floor.

[00:23:08]Got all that stuff up off the floor. I organized all my Bath & Body Works products and so, I won't be re-buying the same thing over and over. So, what I'm doing now is I'm kind of re-stocking everything for Christmas.

[00:23:24]Um cuz I I think that's going to be my next major holiday. Father's Day?

[00:23:29]I don't know. Father's Day has just never been great for me. I mean, I'll sell a few, but out here, I don't know.

[00:23:37]The girls just don't buy for the guys.

[00:23:40]And when they do, they don't buy like baskets out here where I am for the guys. You might have um one or two that might have a pastor, excuse me, or a a church or something like that. They may come through, but most of the younger people, they are looking for high-end items, like stuff we wouldn't necessarily sell on the street, like those really expensive colognes and stuff like that. I have sold cigar boxes. I've sold like Polo things, but just not not in an abundance. Not Not enough for me to sit down and make 100 baskets.

[00:24:22]Um so, what I'm going to do is do most of my Father's Day online. I'm not online.

[00:24:31]Um custom custom orders. I might make a few baskets just to have them hanging around, but it will not it will be by no means what I have going on out out here.

[00:24:49]Um let me know in the comments. So, my next holiday, I think it's going to be probably Christmas, my next the next major holiday will be Christmas. So, I'm going to start working on my Christmas baskets a little early. That's my plan for going into the new year next year is to start my um my gift baskets at least 2 months, maybe a month or two ahead of time, so I won't be I won't be in crunch time cuz let me tell you I was in crunch time for real.

[00:25:23]Because things kept, you know, we're ladies, so we still have um I'm going to have to fix that. That's a little That's not a hole. Huh?

[00:25:33]We're ladies, so you know, we still have um families. Some of us have children. Some of us have spouses or significant others. Some of us are taking care of aging parents. So, life is life-ing.

[00:25:46]So, it's not all the time that I personally just have a whole lot of time just to sit down and dedicate um to baskets cuz I'm we're on the move. I'm going to New York in about 2 and 1/2 weeks, you know, and then I've got graduations coming up in my area.

[00:26:04]Like I said, life is just life-ing. So, um anyway, I said all that to say I got in my design room I mean my uh inventory room and I mean I organized and I cleaned and um so, I'm pretty much stocked up on everything. I really don't need anything unless there's just a super super sale that I see somewhere out there and I just can't pass it up. So, I won't be doing any more shopping for for a little bit. Okay, so that's what I'm saying now unless, you know, a really good sale comes up or something like that. Um How many of you guys are doing Father's Day? Let me know.

[00:26:58]Um so, I guess you're having the same the same kind of turnout for Father's Day. I don't know what it is. I think that girls just don't buy um here in my area a lot of gift baskets for their guys. I might have somebody come through looking for something for their dad, you know, or I don't know. They They Girls are just really, really picky, where my guys just come through and they're just looking for something. If they find a color, half of them don't even care what's inside the basket.

[00:27:29]You know, I just had a a guy just bought a basket. He said he have a new relationship.

[00:27:34]And uh he didn't even know what she liked. So, I picked out something. He told me he said, "You pick out something.

[00:27:39]What would you like?" So, I picked out something um and he bought it.

[00:27:44]You know, so anyway, um did anybody get to organize yet?

[00:28:00]No, I'm in New York City. Um I'm traveling there. I'm not on business.

[00:28:05]I'm traveling there with my family. I've been to New York several times, but my children want to go. We try to do a couple of family trips uh a year. Like we were just in Tennessee a month ago, I think.

[00:28:19]And for whatever reason, they want to go to New York. So, um so, we're just going to be doing some sight-seeing, you know, just the tourist stuff.

[00:28:29]Excuse me. They want to get the New York City the New York City experience.

[00:28:35]Um so, I'll just be there just doing some R&R after this this holiday season. Let me tell you, uh Valentine's Day was really, really great for me. In fact, I sold out. Wish I'd have made more. I mean, I sold out. I came home with literally, I think, maybe two very small gifts for Valentine's Day.

[00:29:04]And then I um when Easter rolled around, I just changed up some stuff, broke them down, and kind of revamped them, and put them back out there for Easter. They sold.

[00:29:16]Right now in my trailer back there, um I have two gifts leftover from Easter that didn't sell.

[00:29:24]Only two, and I made, I think, like 85, 86 gifts or something like that for Easter. And just there's two, like I said, there's two in my trailer I came back with. Um so, God has been good. God has been really, really good. So, I'm hoping um for the same success out here for Mother's Day.

[00:29:47]Um like I said, I sold right at about a dozen, so I don't know, for a pretty dreary day um the Friday before Mother's Day, I think I don't know. Out here, I think it's pretty normal. I'm I'm really, really hoping for uh an influx of people on tomorrow, which is Saturday. I'm just praying that the weather holds. You know, people don't really like to get out um in the weather. And I'm right across the street from kind of our shopping center that has like a Ross and a uh you know, it's just like a shopping center, but I'm looking across there.

[00:30:21]There aren't very many cars in the parking lot, so I guess people are not really out doing a whole lot of shopping just yet. But then again, there are still a lot of people at work, so.

[00:30:34]Uh Polo, Nike, and things like that. Yep, Chris, that's right. And I've done some of those things, but um And then when they want cologne, they want the colognes like you buy out of the mall, and I'm like, we're street selling, you know, we can't af- We can't afford to buy, you know, a $100 bottle of cologne to sell out here on the street and give you a deal. That It just doesn't work that way.

[00:31:03]Gift Kylie says she needs to hire a professional organizer. You need to get with Hope. Um JCD Creations. Hope loves to organize. She is the organizational guru. Um in fact, my setup, I was looking at hers on one of her lives. I just kind of modeled my setup after after hers. So, what I did was I just took everything out of my inventory room. Every everything out of my inventory room. My husband put up the shelving for me, and I just sat down in the middle of the floor, and I organized Bath and Body Works. I put those in sets. Put them up there. All my lotions are in a thing. My hand creams, you know, are all in cubbies. And the things that I'm going to use from season to season, I bought these huge black totes with the zipper on them. They're huge. They're the soft totes.

[00:31:58]Um they're storage totes basically is what is what they are. Um I ordered them from Amazon. They were on sale. I got six of them for like maybe $12 or something, and they are waterproof, mildew proof, moisture something or another proof or whatever. So, I'm going to label um those. I'm going to put my Easter stuff in there, and they come with labels.

[00:32:24]Label it Easter, Christmas, Valentine's Day. Those will go out in my storage area. I'm going to All my body care items, of course, we're going to keep those inside in my storage. I mean, in my inventory room um because I don't want any of my body care items out in my storage, but like all my blankets and slippers and stuff like that, I'm going to zip those up in those waterproof, moisture-proof bags and label them Easter or whatever and then those are going to get out of there. So, I pretty much cleared everything out. I think I have another customer coming up, guys.

And then a couple of people asked me about them, so I sent me them sent them the link. I might have sent it to you, I'm not sure.

[00:36:29]But yeah, those are those that Let me tell you, those things are amazing and they are sturdy.

[00:36:35]Very, very sturdy. I had like tons of slippers. You know, we caught that that Dollar General sale with those slippers. I had tons and tons of slippers. Honey, stuck those things in there just as snug as a bug in a rug.

[00:36:49]Zipped it up, labeled it, and it is ready to be put away. And what's wonderful is when you stack them, they form just like a perfect square.

[00:37:00]When you stuff them, they they fill out like a perfect square. So then they're stackable.

[00:37:07]You know, and they're not those big bulky plastic totes.

[00:37:11]You know, they're they're soft. And they keep some moisture and mildew and dirt out.

[00:37:17]Um And the way I looked at them, I don't think any If you're going to put it in a storage there, it doesn't look like any bugs or anything will get in there. So what I did for my soft items was I put those I put them in um uh plastic bags.

[00:37:33]Just the clear plastic bags like the garbage bags, and then stuck them down in the tote. And I put some of those um What do you call it? The the packages in there that keeps the moisture out. Um put a couple of packages in there. Put them up in those totes, and those things are going to be they're going to be put uh they're going to be put in my storage room. And then when Easter I'll just pull out the Easter stuff. And so I'm going to work from bags like that as not to have this inventory everywhere in my house. I can't I don't I don't do clutter very well. I can't operate in clutter. My brain doesn't function. I have to be organized um for things to flow. And that's just me.

[00:38:16]I'm I'm even like that when I'm uh designing and you know, shred gets all over the floor and stuff like that. I'm the person that makes a couple of baskets and I'm sweeping up constantly, vacuuming up constantly. I just can't stand clutter around me. Um I just don't function well like that.

[00:38:35]Um so yeah, if you guys haven't gotten those moving bags, girl, please do. Or even if you have college kids, kids going away to college or grandkids, they are amazing for them and they're very, very sturdy.

[00:39:07]We use those when you're moving your daughter. Yeah, to and from college this school year. Yep, it's a great idea to use these to store inventory for your baskets. Yes, ma'am, so you know what I'm talking about. Those things are wonderful and they're huge, they're so deep and wide. You know, and they're lightweight and very, very sturdy and they aren't very expensive. I thought like I said, six of them I think I might have paid 12.

[00:39:32]I didn't even pay $20 for them, I don't think.

[00:39:36]You know, um I got six of them stuffed so far and I still I mean six of them. I've got three of them stuffed so far and I still have three more um just sitting waiting for me to um organize more stuff and put in them, but right now I'm so excited cuz I can actually see the floor of my inventory room. I have actually have two spare bedrooms in my house. One's my inventory room and one I just turned into my design room and they're just like right across the hall from each other so I can just go from one room to another um because my husband and I are empty nesters. We have a five-bedroom house, it's two people in there and I got a dog who actually thinks she's a person, but she's not. But anyway, so that's what I decided to do is put that put that um that space to use.

[00:40:29]I definitely decided to put that space to use. But you know, it's crazy because no matter how much space you think you have when you're doing this kind of business, it just never seems to be enough, you know, cuz you're you're constantly buying stuff. Um I try not to hold on to inventory, but sometimes when you run across those sales, you know, you got to get what you can get cuz you know, it's slim pickings out here, you know, and there's a lot of basket makers out now.

[00:40:59]Lots and lots of basket makers. I try very hard not to shop um on the fly unless I just run across something and it's just a deal like I can't pass up.

[00:41:10]Um you know, so as not to have clutter, but I try to as soon as I get that inventory and get it out. Like I have a lot of Bath & Body Works products, but Bath & Body Works does that semi-annual clearance sale twice a year.

I'm sure there's other places out here though that sells those flowers. I just I don't know. For whatever reason, I just never did um flowers. But I think I'm going to try that next year. [00:51:04]So, my hair was looking a little decent for that, but then I just put it in a ponytail and I had to get to work on these baskets and that was that.

[00:56:51]Um God has been good. We've had several people stop by and buy some things, and I'm just praying that tomorrow um sales are really going to be picking up. But, like I said, it's People are still working now. Um So, I'm catching uh catching that crowd, but usually around 3:00, 4:00, maybe 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, something like that is when people are going to start start coming for sure. I've had a couple of um online orders, people texting me, paying me over the phone, and just sending people to pick up their gifts.
