The video effectively exposes the moral bankruptcy of a culture that allows artistic brilliance to shield individuals from ethical accountability. It serves as a sobering reminder that our idolization of icons often comes at the expense of justice for the vulnerable.

‘It was uncomfortable’: Megyn Kelly erupts over ‘shot in the throat’ joke about Charlie KirkHinzugefügt:
Still in California, let's talk about the roast of Kevin Hart, the comedian, uh on Netflix over the weekend. Now, personally, I like roast comedy, but it is very rough.
And sometimes some of it was probably too rough. What did you think of it?
Um I'm against it. I think roasts are so uncomfortable. I don't like the way they make me feel at all. I much prefer the singe, don't burn rule of most of the political, you know, media events we have in Washington. It's safer. You know that they're going to get you, but it's not going to be anything that makes you feel really uncomfortable or like you have no soul inside. And um that that's that's what leads me to that SNL comedian. What's his name? The the guy who's dated every woman in America.
Pete Davidson. Thank you. From Kaia Gerber to the Kardashians. Thank you.
So, he um he tell he told this I don't even know if we call it a joke a joke about Charlie Kirk getting shot in the throat.
And actually expected people to laugh.
Tony reminds me of Charlie Kirk in that he's definitely been on camera letting a guy unload in his throat. That Pete Davidson moment was the lowest of the low. And just a back and forth between like Shane Gillis and Chelsea Handler, it was all so uncomfortable. Like these really raunchy, nasty, cruel jokes. I'm going to go for three in a row here.
Lots of show biz. You talked about Michael Jackson on your show today because of course there's the huge amount of money that's coming out of the movie, but the movie kind of stops before the story becomes unpleasant.
What do you think about what is happening right now? And do you think Michael too will actually tell the other side of the story? Yeah, um we did do a deep dive on this and we started like back in his childhood and went all through it all with a lawyer, his lawyer who really told us a lot of fascinating things about Michael Jackson and debunked some things and whatever, but um it does matter what Michael Jackson was and wasn't does matter. I mean part of what's interesting about him is that these allegations are out there because even though he attained the heights of all fame, nobody was ever more famous, nobody was ever more beloved. I mean he had Beatles level attention, fawning fans, legacy, talent.
I think he's more way more talented than the Beatles personally.
Um but like had it all and was a star from very young age. Just had it all.
And then on the backside turns out to be the thing we find most despicable in the world. This is shared across all across all first world nations. The loathing for a child molester. Worse than murderers. You could You could forgive a murderer. I interviewed Sammy the Bull. He's killed 19 people. Like we we had a talk We chatted We chatted about his you know his time in the mob.
A pedophile? I have zero desire to talk to a pedophile. They're just got They're the worst of the absolute worst. That's why even hardened prisoners who have committed murders and rapes and so on will take them out in prison. It's like there's an honor code. They're so disgusting they got to go.
So there's something very interesting, you know, for lack of a better term, in this man being both things. Like the most reveal revered and talented celebrity ever to walk the earth and to be the absolute most reviled character that one can have in humanity.
And so you add to that the is he or isn't he question and it all gets very interesting. It's people want to know.
You know, is he or isn't he?
I do think there is a very large segment of the population that feels the way Dave Chappelle feels, who said this great comedian who said in one of his stand-ups I believe those two guys in the doc- documentary. I use in air quotes cuz it was nothing of the sort, um, Leaving Neverland, which was a big hit piece on him. He said, "I don't believe those two guys. I don't think he did it.
And even if he did do it, right? Like I do think there are a lot of people who are like, I just choose not to focus on that second half of the story, and they'll be thrilled that the movie allows you to do just that.
Celebrate his greatness. I think there's also some level of like American pride, you know, in the way we look at Steve Jobs. We're like, we invented the iPhone. That was us. You look at Michael Jackson, you're like, that's us. The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson, Beat It, Thriller, Black and White, all that, like, that's us.
And there's a you just don't even want to like talk about it.
It's unclear. Do we really know?
Um, and look, I I my own take on it is we have to look at both. Like I probably will take my kids to go see the the movie, and then we'll have a long talk about what happened in chapter two. I'm sure if they went if and when they release part two, cuz they say they have something else and they have it near ready. It's going to be quick, because they're making hundreds of millions off of this movie. They're projected to make a maybe a billion dollars. And his estate was worth zero when he died, zero in 2009.
So think about it, you know, what a turn of fortune. Um, >> [snorts] >> that, you know, they they need to know, and I'm sure that the rebuttal will be completely one-sided. I think they and the world would benefit from something like what we did today, maybe in longer form, like a fair and balanced look at who exactly has accused him, what are the credibility problems, where do we tend to come down, you know, the four and the against, and then just let the let the listener, the fan, make up his or her own mind about A, whether they believe it, and B, even if they do believe it, they're in the Dave Chappelle camp.
Yeah, I think it's interesting.
Certainly, I love when we have a conversation, we always get a headline out of it. Tonight's Meghan Kelly hates The Beatles.
I don't really like The Beatles. I've got to be honest. They're okay.
I'm not a huge fan. I know.
>> [laughter] >> I don't like I feel like the tunes were pretty simple. I can play them all on my four chords that I know on my guitar.
It's fine. The way they put them together was clever.
Like that's it. And everything they did when they went off on their individual ways was terrible. Wings and Traveling Wilburys, I don't know what they did, but it was bad, bad, bad. My friend James Rosen someplace is like having a conniption fit listening to this because he lives for The Beatles, but I don't.
