The Automatic Retraction System (ARS) is a safety feature in A320 aircraft that automatically retracts flaps to 0° during takeoff at heavy weight when the aircraft is in configuration 1+F and Equivalent Air Speed (EAS) reaches 210 knots, allowing the flaps lever to be selected to zero as the aircraft accelerates above S speed, while preventing flap extension back to 1+F if EAS decreases below VFE config 1+F.

What is Automatic Retraction System? | Question of the day - A320Añadido:
Question of the day.
What is automatic retraction system ARS?
ARS protection generally intervenes during takeoff at heavy weight.
ARS automatically retracts flaps to 0° when aircraft is in config 1 + F and EAS reaches 210 knots.
As the aircraft accelerates above S speed, flaps lever can be selected to zero.
In case EAS decreases below VFE config 1 + F, flaps do not extend back to 1 + F.
