Humor and comedy can serve as powerful psychological tools for resilience and survival during extreme adversity, as demonstrated by Robert 'Lego Man' Morss, who organized comedy shows called the Hopium Den at the America First Warehouse to prevent despair and self-harm among inmates facing severe Department of Justice pressures, drawing inspiration from Vietnam POWs who used levity to endure their incarceration.

Finding hope in the darkest places: The Hopium Den story.Added:
And the idea was that, and me and Jeff Sable kind of, you know, had this conversation as you read in the book still there, that the people that we were locked up with in C2B within the first couple months of our soft tyranny on Biden's watch were going to kill themselves because of the weight of the Department of Justice and everything that we were enduring. And so, in order to stop the cultural suicide that was about to sweep through our pods, we put together comedy and talent shows and order to make sure that nobody would hurt themselves and that nobody would give up. I've learned that God is in the laughter and but through my time in the army, not only studying the the Vietnam Rangers who also leaned on levity in order to survive their incarceration as POWs, but I also know that you can't do anything or you can't ask anyone to do anything rather without doing it yourself. So, I opened the first Hopium Den show by singing from the Mulan cartoon, I'll Make a Man Out of You in a ridiculous costume with crowd participation to boot, which got everybody else involved to want to engage in the Hopium Den, believe in it, and for four shows later we would survive the onslaught of the crooked communist government and endure and glory in our success.
