How Malaica is transforming pregnancy care in KenyaAñadido:
Malika is transforming the pregnancy journey for women in Kenya through four different innovations, end-to-end care, ensuring that each mother has personalized support from the very beginning of pregnancy up until the baby is 6 months old. We do this through our hybrid approach. So, not only when you come into the clinic are we there, but in the time that you are not in the clinic and you need support, emotional support, you get this from other women in a community who are walking the journey with you. We have mental health support also in our community, educational sessions with experts, and then we are utilizing AI and technology to personalize the content that we send out to mothers, making sure that it's well suited for them, and then really enhancing our processes to ensure that we can scale.
