Largest US Retailer Coming to Jamaica

[00:00:04]Today we are going to talk about the largest retailer in the US and the possibility that they might enter the Jamaican market. And we're going to tell you why there is a strong possibility.

[00:00:19]Now, the largest retailer in the US is Walmart, which operates over 10,000 stores globally across the United States, Mexico, Central America, Canada, China, Africa, and other regions.

[00:00:36]Now, Walmart also owns Sam's Club, which is a wholesale club like Costco and PriceSmart.

[00:00:51]So, basically, Walmart competes with Costco with Sam's.

[00:00:59]So, Sam's is expanding rapidly in the US or around the world. They want to set up 15 stores a year.
