Ebola concerns amid dozens of deaths

[00:00:00]This is a little alarming here because health officials are sounding the alarm on the Ebola virus. They are keeping a close eye on the outbreak in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. At this time, we know that at least 88 people have died during this surge and more than 300 suspected cases have been found in total. So, some health officials are even more concerned about this because apparently this is an unusual strain of Ebola. There are no proven vaccines, no proven treatment, so it has all of the elements for a much larger outbreak. Still though, the World Health Organization says that this outbreak does not meet pandemic-level criteria and still advised against closing international borders. African health officials say that they will have an urgent meeting to help contain this spread.
