I Wrote Spider-Man: Brand New Day Before Marvel Did
Added:With Spider-Man Brand New Day coming out in less than two weeks, I thought I'd take the chance before we see Peak to try and write my own Peak. Basically, I want to write a pitch for Spider-Man Brand New Day movie without any influence from the real movie that's coming out. How I'd continue Peter Parker's story and in turn Spider-Man's story after No Way Home. No multiverse shenanigans. No MJ remembering who Peter Parker is straight away. No Ned Leeds being the CEO of sex. Okay, maybe he'll be a little bit of CEO of sex. I think all of those aspects are needed for this Brand New Day movie. It's also a perfect movie to start over with because he's lost everything. We're at a perfect starting point where we can go anywhere with the character. All the last three movies, [music] all the characters from those don't remember who he is. So, we can take Peter Parker and Spider-Man anywhere we want from here. So, let's just start cooking with the Spider-Man brand new day pitch. I'm going to keep the name because that [music] name is pretty cool, pretty peak name, and it works for my whole brand new day fresh start. Anyway, the movie starts with a dock at night in New York City with snow falling from the sky and a tit card saying 2024. We see Hammerhead looking down at an unknown man tied up on his knees. Hammerhead holding a gun to the man, telling him, "You made a mockery out of my business. I was the number one arms dealer after Stark went soft all those years ago. And you, you went and made us the number one enemy to Fisk."
We hear cars quickly swerve up to the dock and the doors open. Someone shouts, "Hammerhead!" What a surprise. We see Tombstone. Both of them have copious amounts of goons with them, so they all start pointing the guns at each other in a standoff. Weird. I never thought of Kingpin's goons to be the type to get themselves killed, Hamhead shouts as they all start firing at each other. We see the guy who's tied up fall back into the water to try and escape the situation. Still tied up though, he struggles in the water. We finally see the mysterious man and we see he is played by Steven O. Young. I also did casting for everyone else in this movie.
Hammerhead will be played by Michael Shannon and Tombstone. obviously would be played by Marvin Jones III, same as the real film. Anyways, I digress. The unnamed man, played by Steven O. Young, gets dragged out of the water by the Majia crime family, and a bag gets put over his head, and he gets taken away to a secret location. We hear a man talk to the mysterious man, telling him he knows he's worked very closely with almost all the top dogs in all the crime families.
He's dipped his fingers in every single pie, yet no one seems to know anything about him. The bag gets taken off the mysterious man and we see Silverman, played by Ray Wise, is the one talking to the mysterious man. The mysterious man tells Silver Mane that they have the wrong person with a complete straight face, telling Silver that his name is Martin Lee, an innocent charity man who has never hurt a fly. Silver smirks, telling Martin Lee he's heard all about his alter ego he goes by. He's also heard about the many men he's killed, women and children. He kills anyone that gets in his way, some of which used to be close friends of Silver Mains. So, as such, he will get his revenge on Martin Lee by making him think that's who he really is. Living the false life he's made for himself while the real him just has to watch in the background.
Silverman brings out a box labeled rocks on and from it he grabs a drug. Silver main monologues. This, mysterious friend, is delight. A drug worse than anything these crime organizations have ever sold. A mix of your favorite drugs with a little bit of radiation and a lot of unknown side effects. This will kill you slowly as you have no control over your body. So I guess this is goodbye mysterious man and truly hello to Mr. Martin Lee. Silverman injects the serum into Lee and we hear him scream as we cut to a bank. We hear screaming inside with gunshots and robbers running out.
Cash in their hands. They run into a van waiting outside as they open the back doors of the van. We see Matt Gargan, the last one to rush out of the bank wearing a scorpion [music] outfit holding the rest of the cash smirking.
He runs into the back of the van as the other robbers shout to drive. They start speeding away as we hear a flip from above. We follow inside the vehicle. The robbers discussing that they were too loud and took too long, but Matt Gargan shout to all of them to shut up already.
He's a literal super villain. As he laughs, we hear someone land on top of the van. The robbers panic, saying, "It's it's Spider-Man." And Matt Gargan hands his money over to the other robbers, telling them to keep driving.
He'll deal with the bug. Scorpion opens the back door to the van as he uses his Scorpion tail to attach to the roof of the van, swinging himself up to the roof, seeing Spider-Man look up, wearing his homemade suit that he had at the end of No Way Home. Scorpion goes in for the attack, using the momentum from his tail to fly kick into Spider-Man. Now we focus the camera onto Spider-Man as he shouts, "Oh my god, Mac, what are the chances of seeing you here?" Swinging out of the way of the kick. Mac on top of the van while it's speeding through the streets shouts back, "That's not my name, bug." And Spider-Man swings next to the van, seeing a pedestrian in the street ahead. So Spider-Man swings ahead, grabbing them out of the way before swinging back, punching Max, saying, "Oh, I forgot Mr. Scorpion."
Scorpion goes flying back, but his tail is still attached to the van, so swings back around before grabbing onto the van flat down. Unattaches the tail from the van and swinging it at Spider-Man.
Spidey back flips over the tail's attack, looking onwards at the red light the van is directly driving towards. Not slowing down, Spider-Man shoots a web at Scorpion's tail, pulling Mac off the van and throwing him to the side. As Spider-Man webs the two buildings either side of him on the streets and jumps in front of the van, using his feet to try and slow the van down. We focus in on his webs as they tighten and snap.
Spider-Man falls in front of the van.
Thinking fast, he just pushes all of his weight against the van. We see Spider-Man dent into the van as he scrapes across the road, stopping the van in its tracks. The robbers quickly get out of the van, putting their guns, pointing him at Spider-Man, who is currently catching his breath. He shouts to the robbers, "Just give me a second.
You ever you ever stopped a van before?
It's it's tiring." One of the three robbers shoot at Spider-Man, and we slow down time as we see Spider-Man take a deep breath, shooting a web at the wall, slingshoting himself to the wall, ricocheting himself off a bit toward the robber, kicking him to the ground before shooting a web on top of him, attaching him to the floor. The other two robbers drop their weapons and put their hands up. Spider-Man shouts to the guy that's knocked out, "See, that's how you surrender." As we see Spider's eyes widen, he jumps and Scorpion's tail swipes the way he just was. As Spider-Man attached to the wall, looks down, shouting, "Mack, just give up. I'm fed up with all this cat and mouse we have." And Mac mutters underneath his breath, "It's Scorpion!" as he swipes his tail at the building Spider-Man was on. It makes a crater in the wall and Spider-Man jumps out of the way just in time in front of Scorpion. Scorpion screams as he dislodges his tail from the building and stabs it directly at Spider-Man. Spidey catches it as he says struggling with its weight. Mech, can you stay in prison for like an extra week next time, please? Scorpion grunts as he pushes his tail harder towards Spider-Man and Spider-Man starts denting into the street underneath him. He leans back, dragging the tail with him, and we see Mac lose his balance as Spider-Man uses his advantage to throw Scorpion across the street using his tail, shouting, "Sorry!" as he does so.
Spider-Man slowly walks over to Scorpion lying on the floor as Scorpion shouts, "How How can I not beat you?" And Spider-Man kneels next to him, patting him on the head, saying, "You forget, Mr. Gagen. I'm" And we cut him off as we get our title card. Spider-Man: Brand New Day. And the music plays as we cut to Spider-Man Swing in New York. And we start our monologue of the intro of catching us up where Spider-Man's been.
Spider-Man says, "I can't believe it's been 2 years since I last spoke to you."
We see Spider-Man swinging through the streets during the summer. Skipping ahead to mid 2025. Spider-Man looks over to the camera and swings at the camera as we see the Shocker is making a scene in the middle of New York. Spider-Man swings down and starts fighting. We cut to Spider-Man smashing through a wall with one of Shocker's punches, and we see Spider-Man look down at his suit with a copious amount of battle damage and size before swinging back towards the Shocker. He continues monologuing, but that hasn't meant I haven't stopped keeping an eye on you, making sure you're doing okay. We see Peter sitting on top of MJ's school, watching her study. We see Autumn leaves telling us that we're further along in the timeline and we see Peter's smile as MJ looks up and hugs another man. Peter still smiling with tears at his eyes swings away and uh as long as you're safe and happy. I'm I'm happy. We hear his voice break as he says that. We see Peter crouching down in front of Aunt May's grave bringing her flowers as he places them down looking to the right. Seeing Uncle Ben's graves right next to hers, [music] he sheds a tear and we cut to Peter in his apartment. the walls covered in news articles and police reports telling us that Peter Parker's life isn't anything [music] but Spider-Man. He doesn't have furniture.
He doesn't have like nice belongings. He just cares about being Spider-Man. I uh I miss you. We see Peter Press send to a voice message to a dead phone number of MJ's. Above it, we see hourong voice messages he sent over the last 2 years telling us that he has just been speaking to his phone instead of a therapist or anything like that. Peter puts his phone down as he takes out his new mask, seeing he's finally made a new suit after his old one had so much bad damage to it. Now I'm I'm going to take the suit from Brand New Day. I'm going to take that suit and just plop it into mine because it is peak. We follow Peter leave his apartment going down to the local feast organization, the charity organization for the homeless and those in need started up by Aunt May. We see Martin Lee has taken over after her passing and Peter goes there to help out whenever he can. It's like one of the only thing Peter Parker does nowadays when he's not wearing a mask. We see Martin and Peter a close due to this.
Martin telling Peter how the organization is struggling with funding and Peter reaching into [music] his pocket, handing over a stack of cash.
It's not much, but it should be enough for the week. Martin tells Peter he can't accept charity. And Peter asks why not. He's always on the other side. He's always giving. Let him receive for once.
As Peter bends him over and puts it, sorry, no. Peter walks out with a smile on his face as it slowly drops. He takes his wallet out, seeing it's completely empty in size before running into an alleyway putting on his mask. We cut to Martin Lee opening up a safe. He places the money from Peter inside before falling backwards holding his head as he starts to hear ringing in his ears. He screams in pain as the color from his hand starts to fade. Martin jumps, "No, no, not right now. Please, not right now." As one of the employees of Feast runs in, they shout, "Martin, are you okay?" We see he's under his desk. The employee slowly starts walking over as Martin Lee gets up completely black and glowing with power. He smirks, saying, "Hello, Rio." as he grabs her arm and she screams. Okay, so the villain of this movie is obviously Mr. Negative.
Quick rundown in case you're confused how he works. Basically, he was an enemy of all the crime families, constantly joining and taking what he can for them and then dipping and killing anyone that gets in his way. Silverman got fed up with this, so he mixed his DNA and blood with some serious chemicals, making his brain think that he is Martin Lee. So by day he's Martin Lee, but as soon as the black starts taking him over, he becomes Mr. Negative, his old true self. So he's like the Hulk or Jacqueline Hyde. His evil side is still in there now and then and it's more powerful from the dark force, but the only issue is he's stuck inside a body with Martin Lee, the charitable innocent man. So it's like a you know it's like a good guy and a bad guy both inside the like like Moonnight almost. Okay, you catching my drift. So obviously because Silverman did this to him, he's going to want revenge on the magic crime family. So let's get back to my pitch. We cut to Spider-Man swinging in the streets doing flips and just a farming. As he takes his phone out, he sees a police report of a super powerful individual causing some chaos down the street. Spider-Man heads straight to the scene. He watches from a distance to catch a feel of what's going on. As he sees a man dressed in black and purple crash out of an apartment building and start running fast down the street, using some sort of purple energy to help him run faster. He starts climbing and jumping across buildings and Spider-Man swings in closer. He sees he's holding some documents. Spider-Man swings towards this suited man as he kicks him to the ground. He quickly turns, activating his claws within his gloves, and Spider-Man makes a joke like, "Whoa, who are you? The human cat or something?" As the Prowler runs at Spider-Man, swiping towards him.
Spider-Man does a flip over him as the Prowler grabs his leg. Spider-Man quickly tries web himself towards the ground to push the force against the Prowler, but the Prowler uses his tactic against Spider-Man, swinging with him to the ground, smashing Spider-Man through the roof of an office building.
Spider-Man slowly gets up as the Prowler roundhouse kicks him through another floor. Spider-Man hurt and injured webs back up to see the Prowler running away and turn invisible as he does so.
Spider-Man asks, "Where do all these guys come from?" He swings back to the apartment building the Prowler came out of. As he walks inside, he sees it's ruined, torn up sofas, cupboards, and drawers completely demolished, as if he was looking for something. As Spider-Man finds a safe hidden behind a painting, which was clawed open, and whatever was inside is now missing. As Spider-Man closes the safe, he hears the door of the apartment open. Spider-Man quickly hides, watching Martin Lee enter. Martin Lee looks around at the mess in his apartment in shock. We see Spider-Man whispering to himself, "What the hell do they want from Mr. Lee?" Martin just crouches down, clenching his fists, muttering to himself, "Why? Why are you doing this to me?" Spider-Man looks confused as he sneaks out of there. He goes back to his own apartment, putting on his normal outfit as he heads to work at the Daily Bugle. We see that he works with J. Jonah Jameson as his boss, and he just works writing news articles on Spider-Man. He tries his best to sneak in good feats of Spider-Man when he can, but if he gets caught, he always gets shouted at by Jay Jonah Jameson. So, that's the end of my act one of Spider-Man: Brand New Day film. We've set up Peter just being Spider-Man and only using his Peter Parker name as a charitable guy at his job at the Daily Bugle. Mr. Negative is the main villain with the crime families not liking him.
And we know that Martin Lee and Mr. Negative aren't the same person, just two identities within the same body that are also aware of each other but don't like each other. We cut to the Prowler until the Magic Crime family's main base there. Hammerhead and Silverman both awaits with the other heads of the crime family. Prowler puts a stack of papers onto the table and Hammerhead looks at them. He sees Mr. Negative has all the crime family's homes listed on there.
Hammerhead looks concerned. A Silverman laughs, saying not to worry about the guy. After the serum he gave him, he shouldn't even be able to walk, let alone throw a punch. An explosion happens within the side of the wall, and we see a swarm of police officers all running in. All the mafia members pull the guns out as they notice the police have completely white eyes and steps in Mr. Negative. He monologues how they really thought they could get rid of him and now he will be in charge of the little crime family. Silverman laughs again as he stands up telling Mr. Negative that that's impossible. What he claims wasn't even possible for the man he was before he got poisoned. Now look at him. He's dying. Mr. Negative smiles as he punches Silverman backwards with his all of his powers, sending him flying through a wall, scorching his entire body with dark energy. A gunfight starts between the brainwashed police and the Maga crime family. As Hammerhead runs straight towards [music] Mr. Negative, they start brawling one-on-one. Hammerhead is as physically strong a human could possibly be. But Mr. Negative isn't human anymore. He ends up winning the 1 v one, plunging a sword into Hammerhead, whispering to him that he has two choices. Either A, hand over the entire company and become Mr. Negative's bitch, or B, the company will be his for the taking after he kills Hammerhead. Hammerhead, losing a fight for the first time, panics, saying, "Of course, anything you ask for." As Mr. Negative smiles, dropping Hammerhead, telling him he made the right choice, and he has good news for him as well. As his little bitch, he will make sure he's even stronger and fix his spine he just broke. We see Mr. Negative move into the Magic Crime family's base, making it his own. He rebrands it to the inner demons, introducing everyone to his powers, weapons forged with his dark energy, and demanding everyone wears a mask, the face of a Chinese dragon. He takes both Silvermade and Hammerhead and saves both their lives, replacing Hammerhead's bones with adamantium, and Silverman is completely, you know, ruined after what Mr. Negative did to him. So, we see that he's slowly being put back together with a mechanical body. With Mr. Negative now making himself known and a name for himself, he finally is officially given the name Mr. Negative by J. Jonah Jameson telling Peter that >> this is good news.
>> This is the new big bad of the crime family and he needs to make sure he's today's headline. Peter uses his job to try and research into Mr. Negative, but he's never been clearly seen. Just described as a man made of pure dark energy and now is running the biggest crime organization that New York has ever seen. Hammerhead finally gains consciousness again and asks Mr. Negative why he saved his and Silverman's lives. And Mr. Negative mocks them, telling them that they have to watch him take over everything they built. And not only can they not do anything about it, but they have to work for him, and that is a fate worse than death. Peter at works gets word that a massive heist is happening right now with the new crime organization robbing the American Museum of Natural History.
Peter quickly makes an excuse that he needs to go poopy or something as he rushes out and Jonah watches him suspiciously as he does so. Peter quickly gets his spider shit on and heads straight to the museum. As he reaches it, he sees mass men are all raiding the place. Spider-Man sneaks around the place like a stealth mission from the video game, taking out as many thieves as he can before they find out that he's there. Spider-Man sees the main man leading the robbery is another masked individual, except his skin is literally glowing black and white.
Spider-Man swings down, taking out most of the goons at this point. Shouting another like stupid quip like, "Hey, Mr. Negative, I'm not sure you could paint your skin that color. Probably wouldn't say that, but you get the gist." And Mr. Negative would charge a weapon, telling Spider-Man that he's never had the chance to meet [music] him yet. What an honor. The goons all run at Spider-Man with their swords glowing with the black energy that Mr. Negative creates. And while Spider-Man is good at dodging them, one of them gets a hit on Spider-Man, slicing into his stomach, sending him flying to the other side of the room. Mr. Negative slowly walks up to Spider-Man as Spider tries to get back up. Mr. Negative places his hand on Spider-Man's shoulder. He panics as he goes to swipe him off. He sees he's in a completely black room. Mr. Negative voice echoes within his mind.
Spider-Man, imagine what I could do with you under my belt. As he laughs, Spider-Man runs into an infinite black void. As the whole room flashes white, blinding Spider-Man. He sees in front of him Mr. Negative stood there smiling with his mask removed. Spider-Man still dazed, can't make out his face as he runs at Spider-Man, punching him backwards, and we see the wall smash as if the barrier of Peter's mind has been broken through by Mr. Negative.
Spider-Man flies backwards as he starts to struggle to breathe, flying [music] through an infinite void of nothingness.
He takes his mask off, catching his breath as he closes his eyes, opening them to see a younger version of himself walking in front of him. He's holding the first iteration of the Spider-Man mask. And Peter cringes, mumbling to himself, "No, don't make me see this again." As he watches his younger self put his mask on and starts swinging around, Peter walks forward, seeing his uncle. Peter mutters, "I'm sorry I couldn't help you, Uncle Ben." As we see a robber run out of the store in front of Peter, and the old man try and stop him, getting himself shot. Peter walks up, seeing Uncle Ben lying there [music] dying. As his vision starts to blur, he sees instead of Uncle Ben, Aunt May lying there dead. Peter starts mumbling, "No, no, no, no, no." As he falls to his knees and the body in front of him changes again [music] to Tony Stark lying dead. Peter turns to see Mr. Negative looming over him. So much pain.
So much suffering for such a young kid.
Peter screams, "Get out of my head." As Mr. Negative laughs, saying, "No, Spider-Man. I want to remember all of this, unlike your friends." We see MJ and Ned saying goodbye to Peter from No Way Home. Peter screams, "Why are you doing this to me?" As Mr. Negative apologizes, stating he doesn't want to have to make him relive his past, but he wants to see it for himself. As Mr. Negative appears in front of him, placing his hand on Peter's shoulder, Peter winds up a punch and punches him backwards, smashing him through the barrier of Peter's mind. As he shoots his web, attaching onto Mr. Negative, and pulls himself at Mr. Negative, kicking him further out of his own mind as he breaks free into real life.
Spider-Man stands up, seeing Mr. negative with his mask on in front of Peter. Mr. Negative says, "Now listen, you stay away from my business or I will take a visit to those friends of yours, Peter Parker." As he punches Spider-Man, sending him flying through the building, landing outside. Spider-Man quickly gets up, panting for breath as people on the street start crowding around him, shouting, "Hey, you're Spider-Man."
Spider-Man quickly webs out of it, sitting on top of a building, taking his mask off, gasping for in having a realistic panic attack. So emotional and sad, I know. Mr. Negative takes the rest of the items from the museum as he tells his goons to kill any witnesses. Now all of the fans of Spider-Man are now taken by Mr. Negative goons to be killed. As Spider-Man sees this, still gasping for air, he puts his mask back on, shooting a web down to the ground and starts fighting the remaining goons, saving all the civilians lives but one. Mr. Negative holds a little girl hostage, holding a sword to her throat. He tells Spider-Man he almost forgot why he wanted his attention in the first place.
As he throws a syringe over to Spider-Man, Spidey looks at it as Mr. Mr. Negative demands that he takes a blood sample and gives it back to Mr. Negative or he will kill this girl. Left with no choice, Spider-Man takes some of his own blood, throws it back to Mr. Negative, who smuggly says, "Thank you."
Now, that wasn't so hard, was it, Peter?
Oops. I shouldn't have said your name, should I? Guess she can't live now after hearing that. As he slices the little girl's throat, we don't see it. Just Spider-Man's eyes widen as he screams, [screaming] shooting a web at Mr. Negative, who grabs the web, pulling Spider-Man's towards him, and punches him full force into the ground. Spider-Man lies there useless against him. As Mr. Negative tells Peter, "I told you if you mess with me again, I would go see your friends, and it took minutes till I saw you again, so I guess I should go give a visit to Michelle Jones." Mr. Negative walks out of there as we pan to Spider-Man lying on the floor. We cut to the Daily Bugle. Jonah telling them to run a news story. Spider-Man couldn't stop a child being murdered. And Peter walks in, slamming an article he wrote onto Jonah's desk. He asks, "What is this?" And Peter tells him the truth, the facts, the honest and complete reality. And Jonah picks it up, seeing the headline, "Spiderman failed." Jonah pats Peter on the back, telling him that he finally gets it. And Peter insists he keeps reading. JJ Jonah Jameson keeps reading on out loud, saying how Spider-Man failed, but he always gets [music] back up. He saved thousands in the past, and he will keep doing so. He may have lost a fight, but he's never going to give up. He will find Mr. Negative, and if he needs to, he will kill him. Jonah says something like, "This is weird, Parker. This feels like something Spider-Man himself." As he looks up, Peter is gone. Okay, so at this point, we've seen Peter lose a fight, reminded of those he's failed in the past, and now he's failed another innocent person, someone with no name, a face that Peter has never seen or ever will see again. Yet, it still hits him the same as everyone else who's died in his past. He still failed this little girl. But we see that even though Peter is at his lowest, he's had so much character development. He cares so much about MJ and the idea that he she might get hurt. He had to give himself a pep talk, reminding himself why he does what he does. He doesn't have anyone else bring him back up from his lowest point.
He has to do that himself. So, time to really enter the turning point of this story. Spider-Man lands on top of Feast, taking his mask off and suit off as he heads inside. As he goes to Martin Lee, he tells him that he can't help out as much anymore. Martin tells Peter that that's all good. He's helped out so much here, and Peter laughs, telling Martin that he wished there was more good people like him in this [music] world.
Martin laughs telling Peter that there's loads of good people just like him out there like yourself, Peter. And Peter laughs, you know, all nervous and embarrassed. Martin tells Peter to stop being modest. Say it. Say you're one of the good ones. Peter rolls his eyes, saying, "I'm I'm one of the good ones."
And Martin laughs, saying, "Now, that wasn't so hard, was it, Peter?" Peter looks as his eyes widen. Peter stumbles out of there, saying, "H I got to go, Lee. I'll see you soon." As he runs out into the streets, the words, "Now that wasn't so hard, was it, Peter?" echoing in his head over and over again as he remembers Mr. Negative standing over the young girl saying those exact words.
Now, that wasn't so hard, was it, Peter?
Peter gasping for air, saying, "No, no, it can't be." We cut to that night. We see Martin Lee locking up his office for the night and saying goodbye to all the people staying there overnight. As he leaves, he starts walking home, whistling as he does so. We see Spider-Man watching him from afar.
Martin goes down a sketchy alleyway as he opens up his briefcase, taking out a mask inside. Spider-Man mumbling. God damn it, Lee. Why did it have to be you?
As Lee grabs his mask, his body starts getting taken over by the dark energy and he puts the mask on. Spider-Man swings down, ripping the mask off his face. Martin, how could you? Mr. Negative smirks. Peter, I I thought you were busy. Yeah, we've taken you down.
No one else is getting hurt, Martin.
Spidey shouts. Oh, really? Mr. Negative questions. When's the last time you checked up on your precious MJ? Peter looks shocked as Mr. the Negative tells him to run along. Bon quickly thrs out of there, swinging as fast as he can towards her college. We see MJ sitting in her dorm room studying as her door smashes open. She screams, looking over to see Hammerhead with glowing white eyes. She looks towards her window, smashing it with her chair and tries to climb out of it. As Hammerhead grabs her, throwing [music] her across the room. She screams as she bangs her head against the wall. Hammerhead cracks his knuckles as he pulls back a punch, which gets webbed by Spider-Man. He turns to see Spider-Man standing outside the window. As he winks at Hammerhead, he pulls his fist with the web attached to it towards himself, pulling Peter towards him as well. Peter screams as he smashes through a wall. Hammerhead charges at Spider-Man as he dodges and Hammerhead slams through another wall, turning back and grabbing Peter's leg, swinging him through multiple walls.
Spider-Man crashes into another dorm room where he looks up saying, "Ned."
Seeing Ned there in bed with Betty Grant, Ned, confused, says, "Spiderman and Hammerhead comes charging through, smashing Spider-Man through another wall and onto the streets." Spider-Man and Hammerhead fight some more on the streets. Peter quickly learns that any punch is useless against him as Spider-Man ceases to hurt himself more than Hammerhead due [music] to his adamantium skeleton. So, Spider-Man gets an idea as he dukes Hammerhead, jumping behind him and webbing around his throat. He drags [music] Hammerhead on the floor, choking him out as he panics, he tries to getting out of there, but can't. Spider-Man stops his breathing enough to knock him out as he webs him up for the police to find him. He heads back to MJ, who's lying against the wall, holding her head. Spider-Man picks her up and swings her to the nearest hospital. as he brings her inside saying she died a head injury. M shouts thanking Spider-Man and Spider-Man turns back using a manly voice saying, "You're welcome, civilian." He turns around and face bombs how cringe that was.
Spider-Man swings back to the city looking at his phone seeing that the inner demons have spread across the city causing chaos across the entire city. He swings the top of building looking around as the streets are filled with chaos and fires. He jumps down stopping a mugging from an inner demon. Webbing him up, he turns to a corner stop that's being robbed. Dragging the robber out of there, he turns to see some armed inner demons having a shootoff with police. He swings in, stopping them as he turns to see more chaos. Spider-Man runs towards another inner demon. As we hear a little theme song in the background, and Daredevil swoops in, taking out that inner demon. He looks at Spider-Man, asking what all of this is. Spider-Man says that it's Mr. Negative, dude. And Daredevil asks if he knows where he is.
Spider-Man says that he has an idea, but he can't leave the streets during this chaos. Daredevil puts his hand on Spider-Man's shoulder, telling him that other heroes have the streets [music] colored. You go take out that Mr. negative dude. So, Spider-Man nods as he swings out of there. So, we're about to hit the climax like I did with your mother last night. Okay, so before you ask, Daredevil wouldn't be where he is in Born Again yet because this takes place during 2026. Daredevil Born Again season 2 takes place during 2027, so it would work. And I like the idea of him just showing up, giving Spider-Man the chance to save the day and not feeling like he's taking up too much of the limelight. Literally giving Spider-Man the go-ahad that the streets are covered with him and other street level heroes out there helping out. Anyways, before the final battle, if you've listened to me this far yapping, make sure you subscribe. It's free. It helps me out a bunch. Look at this graph. There is literally over 100% of people that watch my videos aren't subscribed. Doesn't make any sense, and it generally helps me out a bunch if you do. It's free. It helps me out. While you're down there doing that, make sure you comment what you want to see me yap about next, and like the video while you're there.
Anyways, climax time. Spider-Man swings to feast. He sees the windows are smashed and the car outside is a blaze.
And Martin Lee standing inside looking out on the streets. Spider-Man smashes through one of the remaining windows, shouting, "Lee, why did you do this?"
Martin turns, "You took a good woman's business, charity business, and ruined it." Martin looks at Spider-Man with tears in his eyes, saying, "I never meant to. I know what this place meant to you, Peter. I know what this place meant to your aunt." And he gets cut off by Spider-Man, swinging towards him, pinning him against the wall. "You don't get to say her name." "Peter, please," Martin says as his hands start to lose their color. You're a monster, Peter screams as he gets ready to punch him.
His arms gets grabbed from behind. He sees the woman who works at Feast's there, stopping him, her eyes glowing white. Mrs. Morales. She pulls Spider-Man back and starts punching him as the other workers from Feast come in and start piling on top of Peter, punching him as well. Spider-Man under these people doesn't know what to do.
They're innocent. He slowly starts grabbing their fists and webbing them backwards. Slowly, carefully taking these innocent people out. Spider-Man catches Mr. Negative before he leaves Frie. And they have one final battle inside a feast. What a what a climactic ending location for a final fight. Mr. Negative is shown to be so much stronger than Spider-Man. But Spider-Man never stops trying, never gives up. He managed to get the upper hand, beating the shit into Mr. Neg, punching him over and over and over again. He shoots some webs at him, kicking him up in the air before slamming him into the ground. And finally, after beating him enough, Mr. Negative breaks out and Martin comes back. Spider-Man looks at Martin and asks, "Why? Why did you do any of this?"
Martin tries to explain that it isn't him. There's a demon within him controlling him. Spider-Man picks up Martin and tells him that he better be telling the truth. As police arrive to arrest him, Spider-Man looks at Feast, the ruins it's been left in after Martin destroyed the place. He climbs on top of the building as the sun rises in the distance. He looks at his phone, seeing an article by the Daily Bugle.
Spider-Man failed the article he wrote.
Jonah published it. Peter smiles, seeing that there are still good people out there, like what he thought Martin was, that they have hearts. Spider-Man starts swinging through the streets, seeing all the crimes have been stopped by other vigilantes. He's not the only one out here saving people. That inspires him.
He goes back to the Daily Bugle, asking Jonah if he's fired or not. Jonah is confused himself. He wrote the most hope inspiring article the Bugle had ever seen. And at the time when the world needed to hear it the most, "Of course, he isn't fired." And Peter grins as he asks for a raise. Jonas spits his coffee out and Peter explains how he needs to pay for college somehow. We cut to Empire State University. Seeing Peter's first day there, he walks around nervous, more nervous than he was when he fought Mr. Negative. He goes into his first class and sits down as a guy sits next to him. Peter turns to introduce himself, saying, "He's Peter, Peter Parker." The guy smirks, saying, "Hi, Harry Lyman." We follow Peter through his first day, befriending Harry and his friend Gwendalin, and all three of them after college go to feast. Peter shows him how he's been working to try and fix his place up, and both of them offer to help him out. We end the movie with all three of them laughing as Peter and Gwen didn't make eye contact with each other and we see Peter for the first time the entire movie. Truly be happy. Yes, before you ask, of course I've casted Gwen and Harry. Gwen would be played by Lily Reinhardt and Nick Robertson would play Harry Lyman. And I know what you're thinking. Why Lyman? Because Peter knows the Osborne name. So in this universe, just make Harry take his mother's name and we've solved that issue. Easy peasy.
Then later along the line, we can reveal that Norman is the big bad. It would be even a bigger reveal because Spider-Man doesn't even know Norman exist yet.
Anyways, it wouldn't be a Marvel movie without two postredit scenes. The first one would be a funny one. We'd see Ned and Betty in bed and Betty asks, "I didn't know you knew Spider-Man." And Ned smirks saying, "Me neither." Of course, the CEO of Sex is only doing that in this film. Anyways, the series was crediting. We see Silverman in his new mechanical body working on some sort of science shit as he takes a blood sample of Spider-Man Mr. negative got earlier on in the film as footsteps walk in shouting wrap it up. Silvermain turns to see Norman Osborne played by Jason Isax. He tells Silverman all of this work is now property of Oscore.
Silverman shouts telling him that he isn't handling over anything as Prowler steps in with his claws drawn. Norman says your crime family's gone. The police will be raiding the place within minutes. Hand over the blood, Silverman.
Silverman reluctantly does so as Norman smirks looking at the blood sample of Spider-Man. So, let's just address this one thing quickly because I know people are going to comment. In No Way Home, no one said Oscorp doesn't exist in this universe. How much did he really look into this fact? For all we know, he might have just gone to where his like office building was in his universe and seen that it wasn't there, deciding that it's nowhere in this universe and it doesn't exist at all. So, I'm just going to assume that he was just lazy and just looked once and just decided it didn't exist. And secondly, I don't want Norman to be the Green Goblin straight away. I love the idea of him being a looming threat type of deal. We've seen the crazy Green Goblin. Now, let's get a stoic and calculated Norman Osborne for the next villain. I really like this pitch. I think it shows the perfect amount of MJ, showing her still exists and Peter still cares about her, but doesn't introduce him into his own life at all. Like, he she never meets Peter Parker. And also showing us a little cameo from Ned because he's an OG member of this Spider-Man trilogy, so he deserves like to be seen a little bit and he's having sex because he's the CEO of Sex. also showing us a little bit of Daredevil to help world build a little bit cuz that classic question of where are all these superheroes when there's big bads going on and the world's getting destroyed. There you go. Problem solved. All the little heroes are helping with the little crimes while Spider-Man fights the big bad. And Martin Lee aka Mr. Negative is a really great foe for Spider-Man where he is at this point in the story. He's someone with a personal connection due to feast and someone who can use their powers to see Peter's weaknesses and fears and use them against him. Also, the arc that Peter Parker goes through in this movie, he starts the movie as Spider-Man, only using the Peter Parker persona for money at his job and charity work at Beast.
And by the end, he realizes that there's other heroes out there. There's other people in this world which are good guys, and he can have a chance to live his life and move on. He spent the last 2 years stuck up on MJ and using his Spider-Man as an escape from reality.
But he finally broke and gave himself a pep talk, telling himself that he's a great person, something Spider-Man can never usually do. So he goes back to where he left off, starting college, meeting Harry and Gwen, and as such opening doors for where the story can go from Peter Parker for here. Now, of course, the real Brand New Day is probably going to be nothing like this.
But it's still fun to think about what I would have done if I made it. So if you made it this far, seems like you had fun, too. So make sure you like like the video. And also making this video, I had to watch so many clips of the video game of Spider-Man PS4. I kind of want to play the game and make a video talking about the story that that game tells. If that's something you're interested, let me know down below. And while you're down there, make sure you subscribe.
