Project Glasswing uncovers thousands of vulnerabilities with over 90% accuracy.Ajouté :
Laur Mr. P here. So, Anthropic launched about a month ago. This project Glass Wing, which uses claude and AI to examine platforms for security flaws.
Now, there was an uproar and myself included worried about whether or not this falls into the wrong hands and allows people to do penetrations of all our infrastructure very quickly and without a lot of uh product knowledge.
In other words, a lot of programming knowledge. Well, there's a good news that in the first month, they found literally thousands of of these bugs and with a 90% reliability, there actually are vulnerabilities and they're working with their partners now. And the biggest bottleneck now is going to be actually patching all the problems they find in the code. Now, that's the good thing and the bad news. The bad news is it's going to take some time to catch up to all these vulnerabilities that they're finding. But these AI tools are going to be an invaluable resource for researchers and information technology professionals and systems engineers and the like. So we can find out where these vulnerabilities are in our infrastructure, whether it's the operating systems, the applications, the website, you name it, and then be able to respond to it before somebody can actually take advantage of it. So again, I'd like to know what you think about this. O put a link to the article uh in the comments to this story. And as always, please like and subscribe.
