[00:00:00]If you have plenty of clients, but you're still broke, there can only be three causes for this. Number one, you're undercharging. Remember that price is partially based on demand. So, if you have high demand, lots of clients, but you're broke, it means it's time to raise your rates. And yeah, you might lose a few people, but your income goes up to cover those losses, and you have more time to replace them. Number two, you're overspending. You probably have every gadget or subscription you could possibly buy, but this leaves you with no profit margins to enjoy. We got to be ruthless and put our business on a budget, otherwise we will always find another tax write-off. Now, number three is kind of tricky, but sometimes the margins aren't in your profit, but in your productivity. I had a client who had a 5K offer that cost her 5K to deliver, but it wasn't that her expenses were too high. It's that her systems were such a mess that it was taking her too much time. Once she put in better systems, she created a 60% profit margin.
