Dr. Caudle provides a sober, evidence-based reality check that effectively dismantles pandemic alarmism with clear scientific context. It is a commendable example of using medical authority to prioritize public education over sensationalist fear-mongering.

IS HANTAVIRUS THE NEXT PANDEMIC? A Doctor Explains追加:
Is hav virus the next covid pandemic?
Are we going to have a pandemic? Guys, I'm Dr. Jen Coddle. I'm going to answer that question and more. I'm so glad that you're here. By the way, I'm doing haunt virus updates almost every day. Make sure you subscribe to my channel if you have not already. We know that everybody is concerned and for good reason, right?
Hto virus is a virus. It is a very deadly virus. The mortality rate is like 30 to 40%. And as you probably know, we do not have a vaccine to prevent uh viral infection with this virus. We do not have uh an antiviral treatment to specifically treat it. Treatment is what we call supportive, which means we help people's bodies try to fight off the virus on uh on its own. However, again, it's a very deadly virus. So, you're asking, is this going to be the next COVID pandemic? Well, let me give you some information and then I'm going to give you the answer to that question. as we know right now. My source is the World Health Organization. They've been great in doing updated sort of like live briefings where reporters can ask questions. Uh it's been actually pretty awesome. So, a few things that you should know and understand. First of all, h virus is not co. It is not the flu. It is not the same as other viruses that we have seen. This is actually something that one of the World Health Organization officials reminded us about. Remember CO 19 was a virus we'd actually never seen before. We'd actually never treated before. We had not come across. It was a novel virus.
Hont virus on the other hand has been around. I mean it's not great that it's been around because it does cause severe illness. But the good thing about that is we have experience with this virus.
It is not brand new. Now it doesn't change the fact that it is quite deadly.
But we do have some precedent. Okay. The other thing to keep in mind is that hto virus does not spread like co 19. So hto virus how is it spread? And by the way I'm going to link other videos to this one about hont virus transmission spread etc. So you can learn more but it is spread primarily through an inhalation of particles from like the droppings of rodents, mice and rats. Okay inhalation of the like the urine and nesting materials things like that uh feces etc. Okay, that is primarily the way most cases of haunt virus are spread. However, there is a version a form of haunt virus that is spread person to person. Now, even this person to person is not like the person to person that you may think of when you thought of co 19. Hont virus to be able to spread person to person first of all has to be a specific strain, the Andy strain. But the person to person is very very very very close contact. We're talking about intimate partners. We're talking about uh caregivers. We're talking about medical professionals caring for a sick patient. That type of close contact. Okay. Um the other thing to keep in mind is that when we're talking about is uh h virus, the new co pandemic. Well, first of all, please remember that this outbreak for habirus has happened on a cruise ship a very confined uh location, a very specific location. Okay. Um it is different than CO 19. It is a very specific outbreak in a specific location where people uh had contact with one another and they were in close quarters. Okay. One thing you should keep in mind is that hirus has a very long incubation period which means that we may discover more cases as time goes on. So I want you to understand that. But right now uh the risk to the general public according to the World Health Organization is low. the risk to the general public is low and officials are saying this is not COVID. Okay, they are saying and implying that the likelihood of this becoming a pandemic is low and that is important. I would also say I love that that many countries throughout the world are working together to fight this and to keep people safe and to make sure that this is controlled. I always do say and I learned this from the co pandemic that it is possible that things change. But please understand this virus does not work like the co virus and officials uh are implying that the risk for pandemic is low. Certainly the risk to the general public at this time is low.
Should anything change, I will make sure I let you know. Make sure you subscribe to my channel for updates uh daily and more frequently if needed.
