Research demonstrates that memory damage from sleep apnea can be reversed, with as little as 3 months of effective treatment (such as CPAP therapy, mouthguards, or weight loss) sufficient to restore memory function to baseline levels; however, the longer healthy sleep is delayed, the longer recovery takes.

When is it too late to reverse the memory damage from sleep apnea?
I forgot what I was going to say, so obviously it was too long for me, but hopefully we can save you here. I've been making videos too long today. We're going to go over this and what you can do. All right, so this normal brain over here, hippocampus smaller because bad sleep. Good news. I'll start speaking in complete sentences unless you like the caveman banter. But as little as 3 months of being treated with a CPAP is sufficient to get back to normal baseline levels of memory. We'll go over this issue here, but I want to be clear.
It could be a CPAP, could be a mouthguard, maybe you lose weight.
Anyway, what you do with sleep apnea will have that effect. But that study also showed that the longer you delayed getting back to normal healthy sleep where you wake up refreshed, it took longer to actually have that impact. So, if you need a little boost, check out Flowree, this website.
